a form of genderfluidity that fluctuates between multiple xenogenders, be it primarily or exclusively.
pictured is a flag i made from putting the xenogender flag over the genderfluid flag, and a simplified version, as well as one without the symbol and one with hexcodes and meanings for each stripe.
please do not screenshot for cringe or similar blogs.
Undergrowtheon: a xenogender related to undergrowth in the wooded areas. it may be dense, slightly difficult to traverse, but is also full of life, peculiarities, and beauty. its cool and shaded and may smell like humid earth and moss. it may also relate to fungi, ferns, bushes, insects, and small animals. this gender can have any gendered attribute, or may simply be xenic.
Coined by me on October 10th, 2020. Flag is also by me and free to use!
[image description: 5 horizontal stripes in a gradient ranging from pale green at the top to brownish green at the bottom. the stripes form squiggles at their boundaries.]
Xen is the xenogender counterpart to the words boy/girl or man/woman. A xen is simply xenine person who prefers to emphasize their xenogenders.
This term was not coined by me, I’m simply providing some flags I designed to potentially go with the term! They are free to use, no credits necessary.
Cinnaboy: a xenogender that is related to cinnamon, cinnamon tea, cinnamon pastries, cinnamon rolls, autumn, winter, warmth, and comfort. it may be specifically appealing to those who have a connection to boyhood, masculinity, and/or male-alignment, though it can be neutral or otherwise gendered as well. the connection to cinnamon emphasizes non-conforming boyhood as it represents boyhood with different qualities, that are distinct like the aroma and flavor of cinnamon.
Coined by me (xenoleaf) on October 12th, 2020. Flag is by me and is free to use, credits are appreciated but not required!
[image description: in the center of the image is a thin horizontal rectangle representing cinnamon, in front of 7 horizontal stripes. the middle stripe is much wider than the others. from top to bottom the stripes are burgundy, burnt orange, pale orange, and rust orange.]
Sunningrockique- A gender connected to Sunningrocks from the Warrior Cats series
Sonnenfelsique- A gender connected to Sunningrocks from the Warrior Cats series. It feels warm, sunny, and peaceful. It’s connected to warmth, rocks, rivers, running water and its sound, and possibly conflict. Sonnenfelsen = sunning rocks in German

All those Ace Jessica Rabbit posts are my absolute favourites ♥
This!! Is!! My favorite!!!!
[ Image description: a cartoon style rendering of Jessica Rabbit, lit by a spotlight. She is white, has red hair, purple eyeshadow, a glittery purple dress, white gloves, and high heels. Overall, she is a very attractive woman. Around one thigh is a band with a spade on it, and she holds an ace of spades in one hand. ]
hi!! ive coined a new gender/umbrella term a while back ::-]
archivegender
a gender where you “archive”/hoard various terms because your gender cant be described as just one! also based off of the podcasts the magnus archives and archive 81!
no specific pronouns for this gender + this could probably still be a standalone gender ::-D
A gender that is influenced or effected by one’s hypersexuality. Only to be used by people with hypersexuality
(Note: The coiner of this, mod JOY, is hypersexual himself and knows for a fact that it’s not really a great thing. His gender is just legitimately effected by it, and wanted a term to use to describe himself)
[Banner reads “Please read my DNI before interacting!”]

A gender identity where the number of genders someone identifies as is fluid. (Ex: one day you may feel bigender, another day Pangender, another day you may feel monogender)
Credit to @ladieboog for making the flag and coining the term
“Divisigender – A distinct gendered feeling that is wholly separate from male or female, experienced as a result of or affected by being intersex. For use by intersex people only.”
“Fissgender – An identity that feels as though it is split between more than one gender. Similar to polygender or demigenders, but with a definite feeling that one’s genders are separate.”
A gender defined by love for other gendered folk who are treated badly. You use this gender to reach out and connect with others. It is marked by love for one’s own gender, as well.
I posted this on my Twitter but I’m gonna post it here too ❤️
❤️Lovecoregender (or lovegender) is a gender associated with the lovecore aesthetic, Cupid, hearts, Valentine’s Day, romance, affection, etc. ❤️ Any pronouns can be used but if you want to use love/loveself feel free!! 💕💕
Alamije: a descriptor indicating unmasculinity regarding gender, expression, alignment, identity, etc.
Etymology
From Toki Pona, “Ala-”, a prefix equivalent to English “un-” combined with “mije”, a modifier indicting masculinity, literally “unmasculine”. Coined by Gent (Gender-Resource), 2020.
Anyone can be an Alamije, given that their gender is not masculine in any way, shape or form. An Alamije can have one or many identities and can have an identity of any nature. This experience may or may not involve a revulsion to being perceived as masculine. This term encompasses anyone who considers themselves to be unmasculine for any reasons in any way that relates to their gender identity, alignment, expression, etc.
This term was created because other existing term equate being unmasculine with being feminine, which is not always the case. This term is meant to be more inclusive and useful for more circumstances and scenarios.
Flag
The flag was created at the same time as this term, with this being the coining post. The flag consists of five, solid-colored, horizontal stripes. The center stripe is larger than the other four stripes. From top to bottom, the colors of each stripe are orchid, salmon, orange, pastel yellow and greige. Each stripe has the following meaning:
The orchid stripe represents unmasculine midbinary identities.
The salmon stripe represents unmasculine feminine identities.
The orange stripe represents unmasculinity.
The pastel yellow stripe represents unmasculine abinary identities.
The greige stripe represents unmasculine agender identities.
From Toki Pona, “Ala-”, a prefix equivalent to English “un-” combined with “meli”, a modifier indicting femininity, literally “unfeminine”. Coined by Gent (Gender-Resource), 2020.

This experience may or may not involve a revulsion to being perceived as feminine. This term encompasses anyone who considers themselves to be unfeminine for any reasons in any way that relates to their gender identity, alignment, expression, etc.

Fervian: A gender element which is masculine or related to masculinity. Symbolically associated with the element of fire, which is considered masculine in alchemy. Can be used as an adjective (a wonderful fervian being) or a noun (I’m a fervi and I’m awesome).
Colors are symbolic of fire and masculinity. The symbol in the center is the alchemical symbol for fire (a variation of it; it was necessary to adjust the symbol so that eluvian/water wouldn’t just be an upside down triangle due to the tricky associations with that symbol that would make it less accessible. This variation is/was used by some alchemists, if you care about it being “authentic”!)
for an explanation on what “gender element” means, please see this post.
Ventulian: A gender element which is not clearly defined. It may change in a way that is hard to keep up with, impossible to describe or understand, or simply be vague and fleeting in nature, but it is present. Symbolically associated with the element of air, which reflects the nature of the gender element, “up in the air” so to speak. Can be used as an adjective (a wonderful ventulian being) or a noun (I’m a ventuli and I’m awesome).
Colors represent the usual symbolic colors associated with the element of air. Symbol is the traditional symbol for air in alchemy.
for an explanation on what gender elements are, please see this post.
Tellusian: A gender element which is not masculine, feminine, or xenine (xeno), but still present. It may refer to a neutral element, but it is not limited to that descriptor. Symbolically associated with the element of earth, which has been used to represent neutral and similar concepts in other identities and terms. Can be used as an adjective (a wonderful tellusian being) or a noun (I’m a tellusi and I’m awesome).
Colors represent the element of earth; the symbol is the traditional representation of earth in alchemy.
for an explanation on what gender elements are, please see this post.
Alterian: A gender element that is xenine (xeno equivalent of masc/fem), which refers to identities that don’t conform or relate to any concept like feminine, masculine, or neutral, but is instead something that is related to other concepts, like symbols, nature, shapes, feelings, or anything else that one may feel their element embodies or is connected to. Symbolically associated with the element of spirit, or quintessence, which reflects the nature of the gender element since they are both on a different plane than the other elements and operate on different levels. Can be used as an adjective (a wonderful alterian being) or a noun (I’m an alteri and I’m awesome.) Can be used by alterhumans as well as everyone else.
Colors represent the element of spirit. The symbol is one of the symbols for spirit in alchemy.
for an explanation on what gender elements are, see this post.
Eluvian: A gender element which is feminine or related to femininity. Symbolically associated with the element of water, which is considered feminine in alchemy. Can be used as an adjective (a wonderful eluvian being) or a noun form (I’m an eluvi and I’m awesome).
Colors represent water and femininity. The symbol is a variation on the symbol for water in alchemy.
Let’s address this; “Why does the triangle have a dot in it when the symbol for water usually doesn’t?” Because without it it would just be an upside-down triangle, some colors of which are associated with the holocaust. While it has historically been used in the pink and black forms in a reclamatory sense in the MOGAI community, nobody should ever be forced to reclaim something. There was no aqua/seafoam triangle, but I felt that it was important to make further adjustments; besides, some alchemists did put a dot in the middle of fire and water, even if it wasn’t the most popular depiction! If anyone is still uncomfortable with the adjusted symbol, I apologize and I freely allow you to propose adjustments to the community, so long as it still remains recognizable as the actual symbol for water, and I will support it. Maybe you’re more creative than me!
for an explanation on what gender elements are, please see this post.
Vocivian: Individuals who either reject or don’t have a gender element in some way. Symbolically associated with the element of void; vocivians can consider this to be the description of their element, or simply just say they are void of one. Can be used as both an adjective (a wonderful vocivian being) or a noun (I’m a vocivi and I’m awesome).
Colors represent void. The symbol is the symbol for spirit, with an inverted color pattern (light outside, dark inside). I may change this symbol to make it more differentiated from the alterian symbol!
for an explanation on what gender elements are, please see this post.
Sorry for taking such a long time to post trielemental flags, I wanted to have the terms down for all of them before making any flags but I decided to just make them as I figure them out!
a gender identity where one feels most comfortable within the gender neutral spectrum, but still feels a strong attachment to masculinity. This is similar to the idea of “manugender” (nonbinary with emphasis on masculinity). This is the “masculine” version of faesari.
The colors of the flag are based loosely on the different skin tones found in the drell species in the Mass effect games (since we’re mostly exposed to the boys of the race in the mass effect series).
People have been requesting a masculine equivalent (at least around different tumblrs and where the faesari flag has been posted on social media), so here you go!
a gender that feels like death, darkness, horror, and monsters – but in a wholesome way that is also endearing, comforting, beautiful, and whimsical.“Scary” things feel like *home*. A momento mori might be reassuring bc in death you also see beauty and rebirth. This gender feels like spectral horrors and eldritch abominations who are lovable and good for your soul. It’s like when you look into the eternal abyss and you’re overcome with emotion… bc you realize it’s made out of the same hellfire as you.
Deathcute is under the Xenogender umbrella.
A person with this gender can be called a deathcutie. Or a deathcute xen, deathcute demigirl, deathcute androgyne, deathcute alteboy, etc.
It can also have alignments that aren’t femme/masc-related. Alignments can depend on the things you most feel an affinity for, like:
hell-aligned (deathcute hellion), bog-aligned, undead-aligned (deathcute vamp or deathcute zombie), ghost-aligned, decay-aligned, monster-aligned, dream-aligned (deathcute nightmare), water-aligned (deathcute undine), etc.
✨ Coined by me, currently no flag (but I’ll make one, soon!), feel free to use ✨
The original abrogender flag. It is five stripes. From top to bottom they are: cyan, pastel green, white, neon purple, and black.
My recolored flag. It uses the same general colors, with the hue shifted. From top to bottom they are: Sky blue, light green, purple, and black.
abrogender: a gender that changes so fast that it can not be pinned down and/or
having so many tiny aspects that you feel like you are continuously
discovering your gender
…i’ve recently started using the label, but the flag kind hurts my eyes – i love the stripe meanings and colors, but the specific hues aren’t the best ^^; here are the simplified meanings, paraphrased by the coiner @abrogender
Blue: represents the trans flag, to recognize that we can ID as trans
if we choose to
Green: represents the genderqueer flag, to recognize
that we can ID as genderqueer if we choose to
White: because the middle
lines of the abrosexual and abroromantic flags are white, to
unify all abros together*
Purple: the blur of societal norms to remind
us that it’s okay to break them (purple also represents the genderfluid flag to show solidarity with our
changing gender siblings and that we can often overlap and identify as
both)
Black: represents the nonbinary flag, to recognize that we can ID as nonbinary if we choose to
*the white stripe on the abrosexual/romantic flag has no official
meaning, but white stripes often represent spectrums, intersection, and
diversity in pride flags. considering the general definitions of abro- identities, i feel like vastness or variation of experience could be a good meaning for the stripe :]
The interdependent gender flag. It is split into a black side on the left, and a white stripe on the right. Each side has a dark blue dot in the center, tied together with a dark blue line.
The same flag, with the center symbol recolored with a brighter blue.
Interdependent gender: having two or more genders that are separate and
completely different, yet inherently connected; One gender cannot exist
without the other(s).
This is how I used the colors: The black and white represent separate genders, the blue line segment chains the genders together, with blue representing trust and loyalty, i.e. dependability. (The black and white don’t represent only two genders, I just wanted to make the concept clear, while keeping the flag simple!)
And I used two shades of blue, as I wasn’t certain on how dark to go :]
Hey everyone, I have a new term that will hopefully help others like me who need it.
Gender Element: a part of one’s overall gender experience, along with gender identity, gender expression, and gender alignment (as well as any other aspects that might exist). It is not one’s actual gender, but it (usually) interacts with it in some way, defines it, intermingles with it, or is otherwise an important aspect of it. When somebody says, for example, that they are feminine, and they aren’t using it to describe their gender expression or gender alignment, this is what they would be referring to. It is a connection to a certain concept, such as femininity, masculinity, or something else entirely, in whatever interpretation an individual might have of those concepts. It does not have to conform to the usual idea of what the element is. The way one would use this in defining their own identity is “my gender element is feminine” or “my gender is elementally feminine” or something similar to that, as well as using specific terms, the basics of which I will reveal soon, since I’m still working on them a bit.
Elements are varying in and of themselves- water can be still, rough, clear, murky, or anything else, and this is also how gender elements work. Therefore, there is nothing common among people with the same element other than the fact that they are that element. They can be any gender or present any way they like, even if it “clashes” with what people see their element as embodying. This is a personal label, if one chooses to label it, and therefore there is no need for a description of what “feminine” or “masculine” means, since it only has meaning when one gives it meaning.
One’s gender element may feel as if it overlaps with other aspects of one’s gender, or may feel totally separate. Some people won’t have a gender element at all! There will be a term for that, too. The way it contributes to each individual’s gender experience is unique and special.
Differences between gender element and gender alignment are mostly due to the fact that “gender alignment” is used to refer to many things- it has been used to refer to something similar to what gender elements are, but also to refer to how similar a gender is to male, female, or something else. The fact that it is used in many ways is confusing and makes it inaccessible to a lot of people, including the person (me) that gave gender elements a name. I’m a feminine nonbinary boy, and there was no way for me to explain what being feminine meant to me, so I thought about it and I think it applies to many other people and should be shared.
Please do not use these terms or this concept as a synonym for any gender alignment term, such as lunarian or stellarian, or any gender expression term, such as cerul or pewt. It is not the same!
This concept can be used by anyone, since cis people can have gender elements, alignments, and expressions, but any elemental pride flags can only be used by trans/nonbinary/GNC people. Please respect this.
I have pride flags and individual terms I will submit soon. For now, people may use this term conceptually or simply use the existing terms masculine, feminine, neutral, etc. but please don’t try to make your own system, flags or terms for this until I post mine! I want to make sure people understand this concept as much as possible before a bunch of new terms are created so that people have an accurate reference point; after that, I will gladly watch as new terms and flags are made and I encourage it!
Moonpoolian- A gender connected to the Moonpool from the Warrior Cats series
Månepoolian- A gender connected to the Moonpool from the Warrior Cats series. It feels peaceful and possibly ethereal. It’s connected to water, cliffs, flowing water and its sound, small beaches, and possibly a connection to one’s ancestors måne pool = moon pool in Danish
Moonstonic- A gender connected to the Moonstone from the Warrior Cats series
Månestenic- A gender connected to the Moonstone from the Warrior Cats series. It feels peaceful and possibly ethereal. It’s connected to rocks, caves, long journeys, and possibly a connection to one’s ancestors
Fourtreesec- A gender connected to Fourtrees from the Warrior Cats series
Firetrærec- A gender connected to Fourtrees from the Warrior Cats series. It feels historical and important. It’s connected to forests, trees, large rocks, leaders and leadership, democracy, decision making, oak trees, and possibly battle
Esenceaux: a transcendental, non-specific experience that is produced by the abstraction of gender into it’s most basic, rudimentary form; a gnostic, loose sense of self informed by the reduction of gender to it’s common essence; a transmudane, vague simplicity.
Etymology
From Esperanto, “Esenco”, meaning “Essence”, modified to “Esenceaux”, with the French suffix “-eaux”, literally “waters”, referring to liquid spirits, also called essences. Coined by Gent (Gender-Resource), 2020.
Esenceaux is an outherine gender, most comparable to Neutrois and Genderic. It can be classified as an aporogender and is entirely abinary. An Esenceaux can have any presentation, expression or alignment and use any pronouns. However, this identity is non-gendered across the spectrum, without being neutral or genderless. This identity represents the bare constituents of gender, essential attributes of self-definition that are found in all genders, or lack thereof.
If such an individual desires, pronouns associated with this gender are:
Subjective: Es
Objective: Ese
Possessive determiner: Sens
Possessive pronoun: Sens
Reflexive: Sen
Here’s a sample text using these pronouns:
“Today while I was walking in the park, I met an esenceaux named Trruk who was bird watching on a nearby bench. Es was wearing the absolutely coolest pair of boots I had ever seen, and I
just had to complement them. After approaching Trruk and complementing sens boots, I asked ese where es got sens shoes from. Trruk said sens boots were from a thrift store, along with many of sens other clothing items, which es often likes to modify sen to better suit sens tastes.”
Flag
With this being the coining post, this is the first appearance of the flag, created at the same time. The flag consists of five solid-colored, horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, they are purple, medium grey, peach, light brown and lichen green. The stripes have the following meanings:
The purple stripe represents self-transcendence.
The medium grey stripe represents non-specificity.
The peach stripe represents abstraction.
The light brown stripe represents simplicity.
The lichen green stripe represents the essence of gender itself.

Except America wasn’t an endless expanse of forest with no certain borders. At least not while human beings inhabited it. The idea that native peoples did not cultivate or shape our land and that we had no borders is white propaganda meant to dehumanize and de-legitimize native peoples.
This illustration here show Apalachee people using slash and burn methods for agriculture. Fires were set regularly to intention burn down forests and plains. Why would we do this? Well because an unregulated forest isn’t that great for people, actually. We set fires to destroy new forest growth and undergrowth, and to remove trees, allowing for easier game hunting, nutrient enriched soil, and better growth rates for crops and herbs we used in food and medicine.
Pre-Colonial New England, where my tribe the Abenaki are from, looked more like an extensive meadow or savannah with trees growing in pockets and groves. Enough woodland to support birds, deer, and moose, but not too much to make hunting difficult. We carefully shaped the land around us to suit our needs as a thriving and successful people. Slash and burn agriculture was practiced virtually everywhere in the new world, from the pacific coast to chesapeake bay, from panama to quebec. It was a highly successful way of revitalizing the land and promoting crop growth, as well as preventing massive forest fires that thrive in unregulated forests. Berries were the major source of fruit for my tribe, and we needed to burn the undergrowth so they could grow.
That changed when white people invaded, and brought with them disease. In my tribe, up to 9 in 10 people died. 90% of our people perished not from violence starvation, but from disease. Entire villages would be decimated, struck down by small pox. Suddenly, we couldn’t care for the land anymore. There weren’t enough of us to maintain a vast, carefully structured ecological system like we had for thousands of years. We didn’t have the numbers, or strength. So the trees grew back and unregulated. We couldn’t set fires anymore, and we couldn’t cultivate the land. And white people would make certain we never could again. Timber, after all, was the most important export from New England.
Endless trees and untamed wilderness is a nice fantasy. But it’s a very white fantasy, one that erases the history of my people and of my land. One that paints native peoples are merely parasites leeching off the land, not masters of the earth who new the right balance of hunting and agriculture. It robs us of our agency as people, and takes our accomplishments from us. Moreover, it implies that only white people ever discovered the power to shape the world around them, and that mere brown people can’t possibly have had anything to do with changing our environment.
Don’t bring back untamed wilderness. Bring back my fire setters, my tree sappers, my farmers and my fishers. Bring back my people who were here first.
Also, this is the standard flag format for -plasmic genders, the top, middle, and bottom stripes stay the same and are colorpicked directly from the plasmic flag.
And here’s boyplasmic, girlplasmic, and femacheplasmic! Figured I’d make a few more in this format for common genders but I’ll probably make more of them for all sorts of genders.
I just adjusted the neuaro flag colors, now the lightness of the mauves are the same as the greens. [ID: 5 stripes colored with green, lighter green, white, mauve and darker mauve. End ID]
Definitions: a term that fits inbetween aroace and aroallo; for aromantics who are neutral about identifying as either ace/asexual or allo/zedsexual.
Alternate names: aroneu, neu-aro, aro-neu, neu aro, aro neu, neutrosexual, neusexual, neutro.
Unibinary: A gender that turns the binary into one gender; A midbinary/exobinary gender that is a combination of the binary without being fully binary; An abinary/exterbinary/offbinary gender that is the combination of both binary genders in a nonbinary way
Horizongender: A gender that is far off or distant, but is still able to be examined in broad strokes. The experience is comparable to looking at a sunset and the way it reflects off the clouds/a body of water and never truly being able to fully understand the image, but enjoying it regardless.
Felsicflux: A fluctuating gender that changes very gradually or rarely. However, it may have periods of intense or sudden change. From “felsic,” a term for highly viscous lava flows prone to explosive buildup.
Maficflux: A highly mutable gender; one whose only consistency or constancy is its tendency to change; always variable in intensity. From “mafic,” a term for extremely fluid lava flows.
An identity that encompasses the inability to find labels and/or a disconnect from one’s own sexuality and/or gender. This can be due to feelings of betrayal to oneself or others caused by the sexuality/gender, the use of certain labels, continual questioning of one’s identity, or any other factor.
While questioning is something that may influence someone’s decision to identify as Disidein, it is not the only reason. Additionally, this questioning doesn’t have to be just from the lack of understanding of one’s own identity but denial as well.
What do the colors mean?
Blue- masculinity, attraction to men Yellow- nonbinary/gnc, attraction to nonbinary
White- presence of gender, presence of attraction
Grey- weak feelings of gender, weak feelings of attraction
Augender: “aug” meaning “to increase”; a gender identity that is always growing and possibly combining other genders/gender identities and traits into one gender; similar to plugender but exists in a state of action/growth
Original coin by @/pocketmouse original flag by Pride-Flags on Deviant Art
this can be used by abro people who (almost) always consider themselves gay men, abro people who, at the time, are gay men, people who are statically gay men in one type of attraction while being abro in another, etc! this flag is mspec gay man inclusive, and (though not all abro people go through mspec orientations) is somewhat of an addition to my other mspec gay man flags (1, 2)
so inspired by @nerosdayatdisneyland‘s lesbiangender flag and the bisexualgender flag by bifey, i made a gaygender/mlmgender flag, for people who feel like their gender is directly affected by and/or linked to being mlm/a gay man, or who simply feel like their gender is “mlm”,“gay man”/”gayman” or any other term referring to mlm/gay men
this flag is inherently inclusive of trans, nonbinary, and gnc mlm/gay men
nb gay pride flags for when no better descriptor fits your gender than just ‘gay’. was originally meant to be fem, neutral, and masc (left to right), but you dont have to use them that way. dont use for yourself if youre not nb or gay for men.
GENMOTIGI: A fluid and/or flux gender that is felt more
prominently when one’s presentation, behavior, or other such traits lead
them to be seen as odd, uncanny, or peculiar, as if one is fulfilling a
purpose by appearing this way.
Etymology:
Gen-: From gender 🙂
Mot-: From motif, an Old French word meaning “will, drive, motivation”.
-igi: From the Latin prodigiosus, meaning
“strange, wonderful, marvelous, unnatural”.
Alternate (optional) gendered versions are garmotigi (masculine) and filmotigi (feminine).
Comfortfluid: A fluid gender that changes depending on who your main comfort character(s) might be.
Blue symbolizes peace related to your character(s), green represents how the character(s) is/are soothing to you, and yellow represents being happy with the character(s) and your gender based off of them!
Someone who does not develop Platonic relationships but rather ones centered around dislike for another instead like for another. Rivalplatonic individuals fall on the aplatonic spectrum in the case they do not feel platonic attraction, in fact, instead of developing crushes they would develop something called quishes. Quishes are similar to squishes, a platonic crush, but it the opposite direction. These people have a deep love to hate and that is what they build there bonds off off.

*Note- if I got any of the terms wrong, please tell me so I can fix them*
AMIN refers to ambiguous genders already, unfortunately. This is also the first time I’ve seen VIN! Interesting. It’s gonna be hard to define the distinctions between agender, null, and void… :’)
Grape-sodayic: a xenogender related to grape soda. it may be purple, fizzy, sweet, fun, and comforting, and has a strong artificial grape flavor.
Coined by me (xenoleaf) on September 17th, 2020. Flags are done by me on the same date, but they are a recolor of these drinkgender/potogender flags, which were done with templates by neopronouns.
Lemonadine: a xenogender related to lemonade. it may be refreshing, lemony, light yellow, watery, comforting, slightly sweet, and tangy. This gender is neutral and xenic.
Mint-lemonadine: a xenogender related to mint lemonade. It may be refreshing, lemony, light green, watery, and uplifting. It is more bitter due to the herbal mint flavor, but it may also more complex and nuanced. This gender can be just xenic, or pair with other alignments.
Pink-lemonadine: a xenogender related to pink lemonade. It may be refreshing, light pink, watery, sweet, lemony, and nostalgic. This gender can be just xenic, or pair with other alignments.
Coined by me (xenoleaf) on September 20th, 2020. Flags made by me on the same date, and are free to use only when attributed to the terms. Credits are appreciated but not required. Thanks! ^-^

I have created this new Gender Family called the Meandering Genders, labelled after the qualities of meandernity they all share. Meandernity is a gender characteristic that I’m defining as an experience of gender that meanders and drifts, changes and reshapes, and fluctuates in intensity throughout time. It has elements both of fluidity and flux, but it accentuates an aimlessness and casual attitude one has in experiencing the gender, as if the gender washes over the person. Meandering genders can be self contained genders or they can describe meandering in between similar genders to it- for example nonbinerells can simply experience their gender as meandering as well as non binary, or it can indicate meandering in between and through non binary genders. Either or both is perfectly fine.
These genders are likely to be connected to nature in some way since nature contains lots of motion and change, though they do not have to be connected to nature necessarily.
Meandering genders may end in -ell in order to be easily identified as a part of this gender family, though they don’t have to either.
Meandernity: an experience of gender that meanders and drifts, changes and reshapes, and fluctuates in intensity throughout time in a directionless manner
So, here are some genders in the Meandering Gender Family:
Meanderell: a gender or gender experience characterized by its meandernity- the base meandering gender.
Xenorell: a xenic meandering gender- a gender or gender experience that is both xenic and meandering.
Agenderell: an experience of meandering genderlessness- a combination of agender and meanderell.
Neutrell: a neutral meandering gender- a gender or gender experience that is both neutral and meandering.
Nonbinerell/enbyrell: a non binary meandering gender- a gender or gender experience that is both non binary and meandering.
Riverell: a meandering gender that meanders similarly to a river.
Leaferell: a meandering gender that meanders similarly to the way leaves fall from trees and drift in the wind.
Winderell: a meandering gender that meanders similarly to the way the wind blows.
Steamerell: a meandering gender that meanders similarly to the way steam billows.
I will continue to update these, and feel free to coin your own variety of them too! I have found them to be very fun and useful in describing my gender experience.
The Meandering Gender Family and all the gender terms related to it within this post were coined by me (xenoleaf) on September 25th, 2020.
Riverell: a gender or gender experience that meanders parallel to the way a river flows and meanders, characterized by its meandernity. May flow similarly to a river or flow in between river/water related genders.
Coined by me (xenoleaf) on September 25th, 2020. Flag is also by me on the same date and is free to use when attributed to the term, credit appreciated but not required. ^-^
[image description: a flag with 5 wavy stripes. from top to bottom the stripes are medium dark blue, thin light blue, very wide medium blue, thin light blue, and medium dark blue once again. in the center is a section of a wave that is very light blue.]
Winderell: a gender or gender experience that meanders parallel to the way the wind blows, characterized by its meandernity. May flow similarly to the wind or meander through wind/air related genders.
Coined by me (xenoleaf) on September 25th, 2020. Flag is also by me on the same date and is free to use when attributed to the term, credit appreciated but not required. ^-^
[image description: a flag with 5 wavy stripes. from top to bottom the stripes are medium dark grey, thin light grey, very wide medium grey, thin light grey, and medium dark grey once again. in the center is a section of a wave that is very light grey. all the greys have a very slightly bluish tint.]
I decided to tweak the old nymboy flag and make a simpler version with parallel horizontal stripes to go alongside it. My original definition for nymboy was also very long so I summarized it here.
Nymboy: an abinary boy, or a boy who defines their boyhood in a way distinct from the gender “boy” as it exists in the gender binary. A combination of the words homonym and boy: (homo)nym + boy = nymboy.
Nymboy was coined by me (xenoleaf) on August 30th, 2020. The redesign and the stripes flag are also by me on October 9th, 2020. They are free to use when attributed to the term, credits are preferred but not required.
[image 1 description: in the center of the flag is a dark blue circle. from near the center of the circle 10 diagonal stripes extend outward. from the center stripes outward, 2 are pale yellow, 4 are green, and 4 are light blue. where the circle overlaps with these stripes they become varying shades of blue. the negative space behind the circle and the stripes forms a blue hourglass shape.]
[image 2 description: in the center of the flag is a dark blue circle. behind it are 8 horizontal parallel stripes. from top to bottom the stripes are blue, light blue, green, yellow, green, light blue, and blue.]
Saphboy: a boy that experiences their gender and attraction as sapphic
Boy in this context refers to anyone with a connection to the word boy, regardless of if they mean binary boyhood or if they connect with boyhood in other forms, such as nymboys. The only specificity is that it is a queer and sapphic experience of both gender and attraction.
note: if you are against mspec lesbians do not interact & do not use the flags. do not create discourse on this post.
This probably has been coined before so I don’t want to take credit for the word, but this is my own interpretation of it. The flags were made by me (xenoleaf) on October 9th, 2020 and are free to use when attributed to the term, credits are preferred but not required.
[image 1 description: in the center of the flag is a dark purple circle. from near the center of the circle 10 diagonal stripes extend outward. from the center stripes outward, 2 are light pink, 4 are green, and 4 are light blue. where the circle overlaps with these stripes they become varying shades of purple. the negative space behind the circle and the stripes forms a blue hourglass shape.]
[image 2 description: in the center of the flag is a dark purple circle. behind it are 8 horizontal parallel stripes. from top to bottom the stripes are blue, light blue, green, pink, green, light blue, and blue.]

hello! here is a femboy lesbian flag I designed for one of my alters. this flag combines both the lesbian flag and femboy flag. this is free to use for anyone who identifies with it!
ask about his identity if you’re curious, but no hate will be tolerated whatsoever! he doesn’t feel particularly safe using this blog, so I most likely will answer for him. but if you’re just rude, you’ll be blocked ❤ our mental health is more important than answering rude asks.
So for some reason the flags for bluegender have gray in them and it doesn’t really fit. My gender was teal a few weeks ago so I decided to take a go at it. I wanted to get veriety of shades and also repersent both greenish blues and purpleish blues as well
Bluegender-a gender that relates to the color blue
Okay, I know a lot of you are sick of hearing about the aromantic flag, saying that we already have one, but hear me out! There are a lot of problems with that flag, not only with clashing colors, but also, some people have sensitivity issues to the color yellow. i. e.
From anon to cameronwhimsy (who designed the green/light green/yellow/grey black flag):
Usually I don’t do this, but I found that “new and improved aro flag” problematic because it’s appropriating the colours of the Jamaican flag. Minus the grey, those colours have a lot of symbolism to us and our culture (I think it’s the only flag of its kind with those colours, so anywhere you go you know it’s Jamaica). And it’s just really bothering me tbh. Sorry.
From lesbiandoe’s partner to an aro blog:
hey uh, lesbiandoe is my partner, and fyi ce’s autistic and has sensitivity issues involving the color yellow, and the color is triggering to cer when used in copious amounts, and the aro flag having yellow in it would make it totally inaccessible to cer. that’s why ce designed the flag the way it is, with the yellow taken out, and it makes me really uncomfy to see newly proposed flags with yellow in them because it just causes the same issue for cer as before, so yeah. post publicly please
and that’s why the flag above was suggested! It looks similar enough to the original, but avoids cultural and sensitivity issues. It was even designed by cameronwhimsy, who designed the original one with yellow. Please don’t ignore. There are problems with the yellow that can be solved easily without completely changing the color scheme.
Strayt is often used to express that one’s attraction feels straight (in a nb way), in this case it’s for straights that are non-binary or nonbinaries identifying as straight in some way (as in not gay), just as like not only binary people can be str8. This may include omnistraights.
Obviously this does not essentially means they are straight-passing or gender-conforming. Enbies might experience straightness differently from binaries of course, what they associate with it would encompass being contraic, nibian/nblb, enanteic, differo-, penulti-, nocetero-/nonin- or just normo- (a conventional orientation).

Swordgender:a gender that is sharp to anyone who tries to understand it other than the swordgender person/a gender that’s perceived differently than it is
Coined by anon through an ask on September 27th, 2020. Flag by me (xenoleaf) on September 27th. Free to use when attributed to the term, credits appreciated but not required.
Two more Urbanox redesigns for @xenoleaf plus a new flag template, I guess!
Urbanox: defined by its connection to city lights at night. It relates to the combined effect of window lights from buildings, streetlights, headlights on cars, and reflected light from water on pavement. The gender can be peaceful, calm, chilly, and relate to the sounds of the cities like sirens in the distance, cars on the roads, and wind whispering outside the windows. On some nights it includes gentle rays of moonlight illuminating the steam that rises through the gutters and dissipates into the night sky. Urbanox can be nostalgic and lonely, and comfortable as well. It is not inherently fluid or flux, though it can be. It can have any gendered attribute
(this is a response to a request from @2ulk, if you are unhappy with anything please message me!)
nostalgender (normal flag + static flag)
the gender identification of nostalgia and its calming, yet strange and mysterious nature. this gender may be effected by fond and blurred memories or thoughts to a past life, perhaps? the colours are soothing, cold and peaceful just like the feelings surrounding this identity!!
some suggested pronouns: static/statics/staticself, dream/dreams/dreamself and blur/blurs/blurself
(this term + flag has been coined by me and may be reposted with credit!) ♡
Tysm! The descriptor I described was really personal and I hope it helps other people explain themselves too, and the flag is really pretty, I love it :D!✨
Actually more to the point: if people experimenting with language descriptions for complicated and ever changing human experiences is enough to “make you embarressed” to be part of the lgbtqia+ community. You probably are not right for it anyway, because that’s literally ALL it has ever been since before the first dawn over the island of Lesbos.

i was talking with some discord friends about how weird my gender was, and we decided to make a new gender label because fuck it
so, here it is:
enantiogender
a conflicting gender identity in which a person feels one gender, but wishes to be perceived as a different gender (enantio- means opposite)
for example: i consider myself a female when im alone, but i want to be seen as and treated like a male. any two gender identities can be applied to the enantiogender label, though.
also, a flag!:
[image description: a flag consisting of five strips: bluish-purple, pinkish-purple, white, greenish-yellow, and green. end id]
the bluish and the pinkish represent the binary genders, but with a purple hue to show a blur between the two. the yellow and green are for nonbinary genders. put together, purple and green are opposites of each other.
bonus poc inclusive version:
[id: the same flag, but with the black and brown stripes placed above it. end id]
