Vintagender is a gender that feels like it has been around for a long time but is new and different to you! It can be masculine, feminine, or neutral and can be used as a descriptor or a stand alone gender.

azushade-deactivated20201215:

Tenebraic Flags!

= = = = =

“Tenebraic” comes from the Latin word, “tenebrae”, meaning “shadows”, and the suffix -ic, meaning “related to (x)”. Tenebraic, as the word itself, would then mean “relating to shadows”. The variants are masc-tenebraic, neut-tenebraic, and fem-tenebraic, and can be used in combinations if you feel multiple.

To be tenebraic essentially means to feel vaguely one identity while also feeling vaguely nonbinary, yet you don’t quite feel comfortable with either option. It is a form of disconnect from both options, not being completely agender or another gender, but the void/agender feeling essentially “overshadows” parts of it. Some days you will feel more shadowed than others. It is not meant to be a gender itself; more like a vague sensation of one, without the commitment of a concrete label. Think of it as a spectrum, but not brightly colored.

The tenebraic identity, on its own, is meant to be its own category. The purpose of using it as a descriptor is not feeling very comfortable within the binary, nor the nonbinary, but taking a little piece of each with you (if you so choose). It is appropriate to use it as an adjective in relations to a concrete gender, such as “tenebraic demiboy”, “tenebraic pyrogender”, or anything else you feel is correct. As a standalone identity, these flags apply, but feel free to create any variants! I’d love to see them!

= = = = =

The colors in order represent;

– vaguely nonbinary

– shadows of nonbinary identity

– nothingness

– shadows

– emptiness

– shadows of masc, neut, or fem identity

– vaguely masculine, neutral, or feminine

You are free to use these flags as long as you credit me!

EUPHOGENDER – coined by me (aspenshoard)

(flags are for masceuphogender and femeuphogender!)

An aesthetigender associated with strong feelings of euphoria brought on by outward perception. “Euphos” feel their genders as glitter on their skin, attractive and noticeable, and when their gender expression is validated/noticed by others, particularly strangers, their gender shimmers and shines, filling them with warmth and love. They are inspired by love, affection, friendship, camaraderie, and queer relationships. Euphogender feels like a dimly lit room abuzz with laughter and chatter, lit only by neon signs and bright smiles.

Masceuphogender tends to feel like the lively beginning of a party, as the sun begins to set.

Femeuphogender tends to feel like the buzzing, fluttery energy as the party continues into the early morning.

Xeuphogender (pronounced ZEW-fo-gender) tends to feel like the party is at its peak, the night at its darkest and the energy at its highest.

Plagegender

Coined by @mogai-kirishima

This is just a xenogender idea i felt like going into deeper detail. I didn’t realize how much my gender felt related to that of a stormy empty beach in winter till i found a gender based on it scrolling @hallowgender’s blog.

So heres that gender in abit more detail as well as some varients. It’ll end up described abit like how they decribe( sry if hallowgender dosent use they/them, i dont remember their pronouns so ill use gender neutral ones till i know, then ill edit this post)

I wanted to base the name of this gender on a famous painting of a beach in winter then use the language that would be used by the painter of it. I make alot of my terms in french just because its the second language im most confedient in. However there arent many paintings of beaches in winter other than one called “ the magpie” by Claude Monet. Hes french( even though that beach was in norway.) So these xenogenders will be named after the french word for beach; Plage( pronouned pla-juh).
