Definition: A gender with a connection to jesters. Define this as you feel appropriate; maybe you feel like your gender is a jester or a joke, maybe you ID as this because of a kin, or maybe you simply appreciate the aesthetic of jesters in relation to your gender. Anything works provided it is related to jesters.
Jestgendercan relate to any sort of “aligned” feeling (masculine, xenic, feminine, etc.) if you feel that it does, though Jocugendercan but does not need to relate to a feminine, xenic, or nonera feeling. This is not a requirement for any of the genders, though if you would like to specify that your gender has no leaning, then jestagender [jest + agender] represents this best.
The flags are meaningless as to, as per my norm when it comes to flags, not impose any other feelings onto one’s gender identity. This said, the orange diamond does represent a connection to jesters always bleeding into one’s gender.

Hey guys I coined a new orientation term called Duo-
Duo- having two or more well defined orientations that you switch between (e.g. cupiosexual and fraysexual)
I mainly coined it because we’ve been getting a lot of asks about switching between orientations, but usually only a few, and sometimes only in the ace/aro spectrum. It is not synonymous with abro- because that orientation is very fluid, to the point of not being able to be categorized where as with duo- one’s orientation may only switch between a few genders. In addition, the person experiencing this orientation should have a clear or semi-clear idea of the orientations they are switching between. This is so it can be distinguished from other, more fluid orientations like panflux, aceflux, and biflux.
It may be used by anyone who experiences changing between specific orientations. The orientations may also be complex (eg one could switch between being demi-polyromantic akoisexual and biromantic gray-asexual ) It may also only apply to one area of orientation (eg switching between biromantic masexual and biromantic womasexual)
In theory any number of orientations may be used with duo- but there should not be so many/be so fluid that another term fits better
The term comes from the latin root du- meaning two, but as with the bi- label, there may be more than two orientations that one switches between.
Sexism – and the word “men” – groups together white men with men of color, cis men with trans men, abled men with disabled men, etc. It means that a a queer trans man of color can oppress a white cishet woman.
Heterosexism – and the word “heterosexual” – groups together cis men, cis women and trans/nonbinary people, white people and poc, abled and disabled people, etc. It means that heterosexual disabled working class women of color can oppress abled white middle class gay cis men.
Cissexism – and the word “cisgender” – groups together cis women with cis men, white people and poc, abled and disabled people, etc. It means a cisgender lesbian woman of color can oppress a white trans man. (You know? I bet this is an argument that radscums actually use.)
Ableism – Okay you get the point
Classism – Or so I hope
Ageism – Because this is ridiculous
Etc.
Why is this ridiculous?
Because this is not how intersectionality works
Each term represents one axis of oppression
No one term can take all axes into account
Nor should it, otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to talk about the oppression of any specific group
No one axis of oppression trumps all others
To say that monosexism inherently and necessarily trumps all other axes is to derail the discussion
Is a black lesbian trans woman privileged over a white bisexual cis man? Of course not.
But that is not the question
The question is: is a black lesbian trans woman privileged over a black bisexual trans woman?
Then take a look at how I, the person who wrote the monosexual privilege checklist, wrote, timeaftertime, about how the list is meant to draw attention to straight people and away from gay and lesbian people.

ive been meaning to make a flag and 4 those who are trans gay mlnb and mlm like me and here it is! its called Celestitian, inspired by the crystal celestite that matches the colors of the flag!
A delicate, pale gender which clings to the edges of ones gender as a whole, or to other genders. It has a soft beauty which can be appreciated from a distance or up close but disappears if it gets warm. It can also be deep and foggy to experience. Or any gender relating to frost, especially hoarfrost. Hoarian can also be used as a modifier on other genders, such as Hoarvir (Masc/boy) or Hoarem (Fem(me)/girl).
This is the second gender in my Astvetur system of genders (Kalmelian was the first) which are all based off of my favourite things about winter.

Mesosexual or Mesoromantic people may have preferences for more masculine or feminine individuals but is still only attracted to people who are at least partially outside of the binary.

@axiomurder i wanted to answer this question in a post, since it would be better for more people to see it.
there are 4 mspec sexualities that i’m defining: bi, pan, ply and omni. if there are more, please tell me, i’ll do my research and define them best i can.
let’s start with bi. bisexual is an umbrella term, meaning that technically all the mspec labels can fit under this definition. it means ‘attracted to 2 (or more) genders.’ this can mean attraction to boy/girl, boy/nb, girl/boy/nb, nb/agender/girl, etc. it can vary from person to person.
next is pan. pansexual is a label meaning ‘attracted to people regardless of gender.’ note the regardless. pansexuals are genderblind, meaning they could care less about your gender, they care about your personality more than they care about your gender or sex. a common pansexual motto is ‘hearts not parts.’
now let’s talk about ply. it means polysexual. we dont call it poly so as to avoid confusion with the term polyamorous, meaning ‘in a romantic and/or sexual relationship with more than one person.’ it isn’t cheating, because everyone is agreeing and understanding. polysexual means ‘attracted to most, but not all genders.’ so, you can sort of view it as the opposite of the bi example i gave. you can see it as attraction to all but boys, all but girls/boys, all but nb, etc.
finally, there is omni, which is what i label myself as. it means ‘attracted to all genders.’ well, what’s the difference between omni and pan, then? the difference is, as i said before, pansexuals are genderblind. omnisexuals are not. we see gender, and it can play a role in choosing a partner. in other words, the biggest difference is that omnisexuals can have preferences, while pansexuals, generally, don’t. all 4 of these identities fall under the umbrella termmspec, meaning multi-attracted spectrum.
something key to remember is that everyone chooses their own labels. no one can force a label onto someone else. each person finds a label that they are most comfortable with, and identify with, and goes with that. some people’s labels can change. people can also choose to not go with any label at all. all of this is 100% ok and valid.
you can identify as omni and not have preferences, or be pan and have preferences, or be ply and like only a few genders, or be bi and like all genders, etc. all of this is ok, and the important part is that everybody finds a community welcoming to them, and feels comfortable under the label they’ve chosen. we hold no power over someone else’s label choice, so nobody should be micromanaging another person’s label.
at the end of the day, we all have to respect other people, no matter what they identify as. we have to support each other, even through our differences.

From root word knarre meaning creak in German, a kenochoric gender related to empty but not abandoned houses, especially at night. This gender has a creepy and vast feeling like something is in the next room but vanishes before you can find it.
Dielic
From root word diele meaning hallway in German, a kenochoric gender related to empty but not abandoned school buildings, especially at night. This gender has a vaguely nostalgic and menacing feeling as if you are somewhere you are not supposed to be.
Reschnic
From root word rechner meaning computer or calculator in German, a kenochoric gender related to empty but not abandoned office buildings especially to those at night and that have a lot of older computers. This gender feels complex and confusing but also somewhat formidable. It may have a sense of urgency or may attack without notice.

the overarching label for those who are pocky gender/on the pocky gender spectrum. this label is for those who relate pocky and its differing flavors to their gender(s). it is crunchy, sweet, and creamy as well as playful. this label could be masc, fem, or other aligned.

There’s probably been something similar to this but-
Mantleic isn’t a gender on it’s own, it’s sort of an “overlay” that is on top of a gender, making it more visible or hard to see. The best way to describe this is that it’s a layer above one’s gender, and it feels as though it’s opacity is changing and therefore one’s ability to recognize their gender.
It’s sort of like fluctuation, but the gender itself remains as it is, but becomes more difficult to see. The gender itself may fluctuate at a different rate than the layer above it.
The layer doesn’t have a certain form, so can work in different situations, whether the layer itself is null, agendered, void, or has a distinct gendered feeling depends on the person.
The word “mantle” means to wrap around or cover something, so it seemed perfect!
I’d like to coin the term, Storm-ilk/Stormgender/Sturmgeschlect and the accompanying flag. Storm-ilk [and its variant names] represent a chaotic sense of gender and its function in society (or lack thereof). For those who have difficulty really pinpointing what gender means to them and how they relate to it. Variations are welcome ^_^. Any pronouns work with this gender identity.
crecutian: a gender that can be described as creepycute. could be related to the creepycute aesthetic, generally be a combination of creepy and cute genders/gender feelings, etc.
amorumgender: a gender that is related to the object of one’s objectum attraction. for example, an amorumgender person who is attracted to classical music might be gendersique or classicagender, etc.
Not a sexuality itself, but an identity add-on to describe a specific type of bisexuality, similar to saying you’re male-leaning or female-leaning bisexual. Multi-bisexual was not made to be used by itself, only as a descripter. (e.g. a sapphic polysexual specifies one is wlw, and so on.)
While as itself, bisexual means attraction to two or more genders. Multi-bisexual means you specify that you are attracted to more than just twogenders. One may feel their sexuality is better described by pansexual, omnisexual, or otherwise multisexual that includes a larger range of genders. Multi-bisexual can be used as an alternative to switching to a different label while still remaining bisexual.
For those who believe a different label such as pan/omni/poly/etc would be better, may not like the idea or aren’t ready to change away from bisexual, due to personal reasons. A reason for not wanting to change labels is that one may feel a “dedication” to it, such as identifying as bisexual for a very long time, being very familiar and involved with bi culture, or other bi related experiences. In the end, it’s just not wanting to, or not being ready to make a big change, for whatever reason that may be.
“Multi” originates from Greek, meaning “many”. It also refers to the multisexual, which is an umbrella term that includes any sexuality that isn’t monosexual (attracted to only one gender).
Flags in order, all have the bisexual flag with a plus sign (+) in the middle, the flags on this symbol are as follows: 1.) plain white that’s slightly gray, no real meaning. 2). same as before, but plain black. 3). the multisexual flag 4). an alternative multisexual flag
Inclusive Bisexual
Similar to multi-bisexual, is not a stand alone identity and should only be an add-on to bisexual.
There are some people who believe bisexual is limited to two attractions — (usually cis) men and women, and/or that trans and non-binary is excluded. Personally, I don’t believe in that bisexual is exclusive. However, this is a good alternative for people who want to specify that they do include trans/non-binary, as it may be very important to them to express, such as dating someone who is non-binary for example.
Another reason for using inclusive bisexual, is that an individual may have a fear that people will immediately assume they are only attracted to cis men and women or be called an exclusionist. Using inclusive bisexual may help alleviate someone’s anxiety over that or similar worries.
Flags in order, all have the bisexual flag with a plus sign (+) in the middle, the flags on this symbol are as follows: 1.) transgender 2). non-binary 3). genderqueer
As an end note, however you interpret bisexuality is valid! ❤︎ Inclusive bisexual and multi-bisexual were made with a certain experience in mind. So, please do not feel pressured to use any of these, and please remember that you don’t have to “prove” yourself to anyone!

Trans-loving-trans refers to… well… trans people who love/date other trans people, often as a conscious preference due to our shared trans experiences that just can’t be appreciated or understood by cis folks.
This particular flag can be used by:
– Anyone who is not their own AGAB who loves/prefers to date any other person(s) who are also not their own AGAB(s) [so trans people who love trans people!]
– T4T people of any orientation: straight, demi, aro, bi, lesbian, pan, etc
– T4T people who love other trans people with any kind of attraction: queerplatonic, romantic, alterous, etc
I chose to include pink, blue, and yellow as the core colors to respectively represent trans women, trans men, and nonbinary people + diversity and inclusivity!

Hey! So, it has been brought to our attention by a friend on Discord (they weren’t even aware of the original post or our flags, they were just talking about plural flags in general) that the colour chosen to represent traumagenic systems in many plural flags is black or dark grey, which can be alienating to traumagenic systems as it paints them as dark/bad/tainted in some way. I would like to impress upon everyone that this was not our intention in the original post!!! It was an oversight on our part, and one we regret deeply, as we are partially traumagenic ourselves and would never wish to bring harm on our own community- but that doesn’t mean that we can’t make mistakes that do so anyways.
That in mind, we revamped the flags! I think they look better anyways, ngl, the black just clashed! We also added versions with the treblesands, and different variants that are explained underneath each. As before, you can use them for anything your heart desires (except to spread hate), but it’s much preferred that you link back to us! Ta-ta~!
The version of the flag with no symbols at all! Pink for endogenic, yellow for parogenic, blue for traumagenic, green for quoigenic, and white (not visible on some formats, sorry) for multigenic/mixed origins.
Two versions, one with the treblesand and the other with 4 interlinked circles (not sure of the name). These are two fairly widespread symbols to represent plurals and plurality, so it seemed prudent to include them.
These ones are for systems that are entirely or mainly endogenic (naturally formed)! They focus on the pink stripe, the one we chose to symbolize endogenic systems, bringing it front and center with major symbols of plurality.
For systems that are entirely or mainly parogenic (created)!
For systems that are entirely or mainly traumagenic (formed from early childhood trauma)!
For systems that are entirely or mainly quoigenic (formed by unknown or undisclosed methods)!
For systems that are multigenic/mixed origins (formed by multiple means, such as having a mix of created and trauma-based members)!
so i finally decided to make my own gender flag- introducing Venngender!
Venngender: a gender that can only be identified in the overlap between two or more other genders.
To give an example, I identify with being Transmasculine, Autigender, Nesgender, and Oceanusvoid. while I do not feel like I fit into any one of these, when put together I feel like they create a complete picture of my gender.
while this flag and identity are primarily for my own use, it is open to anyone who wants to use it!

a gender that feels like it’s made up of smaller genders, like blood is made up of blood cells. can be difficult to describe because it’s different depending on the circumstances, like how blood turns red when it hits oxygen. it feels like it’s moving constantly, but stays mostly the same until it’s interacted with.
i might expand on this gender later, but this is what i have for now!!
a musicagender that fluctuates and/or changes based on the song you’re currently hyperfixating on. when you’re fluid and/or fluctuate between different musicagenders depending on your current music hyperfixation. a fluid/fluctuating version of musicagender for when you hyperfixate on certain songs, albums, or artists.
abdulien: a gender that feels as though it’s been abducted by aliens in the middle of the night. it may have been taken to another planet, accompanied aliens on a trip around the galaxy, or simply been returned to where it came from. this gender often feels odd, difficult to comprehend, and/or full of mystery, but doesn’t have to.
darthnihian : a gender that’s related/influenced by darth nihilus from the star wars franchise.

I ID as both gay and bi for a real simple reason: the binary nature of terms like gay.
See, I’m a nonbinary man, and I’m attracted to both binary men and other nonbinary men. Technically, I’m only into men! However, because of the nuance of nonbinary identities, and because nonbinary man and binary man are technically different genders, I’m still attracted to more than one gender. Hence, being both gay and bi.
I’m strictly into men, meaning I’m technically gay, but I’m still into more than one gender, meaning I’m bi as well.
This may seem kinda pedantic and unnecessary to you, anon, but it’s honestly something that makes a Lot of sense to a Lot of people. Being both mspec and gay is often about the nuances of gender, which a lot of binary people (cis and trans alike) prefer to ignore in favour of trying to keep naturally blurry lines clear.

So I think this is also a great resource from from a nonbinary man that shows how to respectfully talk about attraction to nonbinary men or nonbinary women. To be clear you don’t have to identify exactly like op, but you should put the same thought into it. I’m not going to tell you whether to id as gay, bi, or both, and I can’t look inside your head and tell you if you’re attracted to all nonbinary people or just some. Different things will be be respectful (and true!) for different people.
Other useful wordings might be ‘[gender] and anyone adjacent’, or ‘[gender] and anyone comfortable being included in [that gender]’, or ‘[gender] and everyone broadly [that gender]’.

You guys know that queer as an identity/term for the community and queer as a slur are concepts that can exist simultaneously, right?I’m talking about the whole “Queer isn’t a slur and calling it a slur now is TERF rhetoric” thing. You guys are missing the nuance in this and apparently need it clarified.
When TERFs say “Queer is a slur”, they mean that no one should ever use Queer. They demonize the word, spreading lies about it, saying it’s inherently homophobic, etc. They know Queer is such an inclusive and defiant word, and so they separate themselves from it by treating it as an unredeemable slur. This is part of where “lesbian not queer” comes from.
The end goal of this rhetoric is to exclude those who dont fit into their narrow definition of what it means to be LGBTQ+, especially trans people. That’s why they don’t say this about other slurs, and this is where you’re getting the idea that calling Queer a slur is TERF rhetoric from. Anyone saying things like this is using TERF rhetoric.
This is in no shape way or form the same as when other LGBTQ+ people with trauma around the word Queer say “Queer is a slur.“Acknowledging that the word Queer is still wielded against us in a violent and harmful fashion is simply the truth. People’s lived experiences are not TERF rhetoric.
And yes, I know, all our words have been used against us, and still are. But not all words are equal, and it’s clear by the conversations we have that Queer as a slur still holds considerable power in some of our lives. By denying the existence of Queer as a slur, you are invalidating people’s traumas. This isn’t expressed in order to take Queer out of all our vocabularies and exclude people like it is with TERFs. It’s to allow boundaries to be respected and to prevent people from being triggered by its use when possible.
Which, when it comes to censoring and tagging the word Queer, there is nuance there too. While some people may be fine censoring and tagging the word, not everyone will be because it’s their identity. It’s entirely understandable to not want to censor that. When it comes to blogs you follow, if someone is unwilling to censor Queer and the word is still a trigger for you and you can’t cope with seeing it, you either need to find a way to blacklist it, or you need to unfollow or block them.
Just like you have your boundaries, other people have theirs, and it is unfair to expect people to censor their identities on their own blogs. I know it sucks unfollowing people whose content you enjoy, but it’s your responsibility to remove yourself from other people’s personal spaces that aren’t compatible with your boundaries. The keyword here is personal.
So, yes, Queer is an identity, and a word for our community in many contexts. It is something we have called ourselves in pride and power. We have led marches with the word written bold and clear. It is not something that we should shy away from, but embrace to the best of our ability, if not in ourselves, but in others.
And at the same time – not contradictingly – it is a word people have thrown at us to demean the Queerness in us, sneering at us in anger and disgust.
All of this is why we need to respect each other’s lived experiences and identities. Each of our relationships with the word Queer is special and valid (except for TERFs, obviously). It is all of our responsibilities to protect and empower one another. That is what this community is for.
hmmm i do want to point out that at this point the phrase “queer is a slur” is surrounded by so many negative connotations that i immediately distrust anyone who says it, and so do a lot of others.

i also feel that queer gets disproportionately put in the slur spotlight. me and many i know have heard gay and lesbian as hurtful terms many more times than queer but we acknowledge that theyre identities. and asking people to trigger tag their identities is fucking rude. maybe queer gets the spotlight because “queer is a slur” rhetoric started popping up everywhere
so what i guess im saying is that. everything’s a slur. almost everyone has hang ups with every word that we use. and queer people pointing out that “queer is a slur” (and that phrase specifically has started to signal to a lot of people that whoever used that phrase might be an exclus or a terf) isn’t bad.
also the correlation between queer is a slur gaining popularity and terfs and exclusionists gaining in numbers isnt something that should be left out of this conversation.

this was the flag that kicked off my refurbishing spree 😊 the original sprinklic flag was anonymously submitted to @/beyond-mogai-pride-flags, and that’s the only origin or even mention of the flag that i can find.
full credit to the maker, it’s exactly what you would think of when imagining a gender related to sprinkles. loud, bright, colorful, busy, and tacky in the absolute best way.
but it’s not very recreate-able, it causes a decent amount of eye-strain, and the image quality is just not there 💖
so i simplified the flag a touch, from 11 stripes to 9. eyedropper-ed some colors from a picture of sprinkles, and arranged them in a way that wasn’t an overdone rainbow, and tried to minimize eye-strain.
the amount of sprinkles in your gender is not up to me, so i found a few overlays with varying levels of sprinkles, and you can use the one that feels right for you. or you can take the plain stripe flag and add your own sprinkles! it’s totally up to you!
