Ive been trying to make a nblnb + mlnb combo recently and (besides bad attempts where i accidentally just mixed two nblnb flags together) Ive come up with these two and id like some feedback!
The first one was a combination of @sunny-flags nblnb flag and the adonic/mlnb flag and the second one is a combination of the diamoric flag and the adonic flag
They feel kinda similar to my mlm + nblm flag which is kinda bothering me because i want them to be distinct. And the first one is kinda a bit too similar to the adonic flag

Saturn-aligned: A new Cosmoic Alignment
An ever expanding alignment that is many in one, with parts that feel different, yet connected to each other. The different parts may be aligned differently, but they still feel connected in some way
The term is named after Saturn’s rings, and the flags colours are sampled from an image of Saturn. This term is designed to go with the other cosmoic alignments, which can be found here
The flag is based off the original flags instead of @neopronouns redesigns due to myself not having the spoons to design a new symbol, but if anyone would like to create a flag to fit those flags instead they are welcomed to do so

So, earlier this evening, Mod D and I were chatting and I mentioned how even though there’s a pride flag for nearly everything, there wasn’t a pride flag for intergender. Being awesome and cool, he volunteered to make some, and here they are! -Mod C
There are two flags here, both in the standard ‘broad horizontal stripe’ alignment, both in pastel tones; one goes blue, white, purple, grey, purple, white, pink, and the other one goes pink, white, purple, grey, purple, white, blue. It doesn’t really matter if you put the pink stripe on top or the blue stripe on top, either one works.
I wanted to demonstrate that being intergender is related to being intersex, so I stuck within the same general layout and color scheme as the intersex flag, but I’ve placed the blue and pink (often used to signify the binary genders or sexes) at the extremities of the flag, with purple in the middle. The gradient from blue to pink in the center of the intersex flag is here replaced by a gray stripe, as purple can’t make a gradient into itself. (I had the alternate idea of a gradient where the purple was deeper in the center, but we ended up going with this one. This way everything is about the same brightness and saturation, which I think looks more harmonious.)
As this is a pride flag, feel free to use, distribute, and reproduce it. Just remember, if you’re dyadic/non-intersex, that intergender is an identity specific to intersex people.

for one it completely ignores the amount of amab people (cis men & camab nb ppl who aren’t transfem) who are capable of and engage in transmisogyny and for two it gives tme people an excuse to not say they’re tme because they can imply it’s ‘asking what’s in your pants’ to avoid holding themselves accountable for their transmisogyny
i found this when i was looking for things to show my doctor to explain why i wanted top surgery as a butch lesbian. i think there are a few issues with using ‘transbutch’ as a word outside of scholarly articles like this one (like, it could get confusing distinguishing between afab butches who transition and trans women who happen to be butch!) but i like the idea of butchness being a distinct thing you can transition towards. not exactly what the article is getting at, maybe, but food for thought! 💭🍌

You could also have subsections/boxes inside your boxes.

General Terms
Intersex (Adj.) – A term to describe those who were born with a sex variation that led to having sex characteristics that aren’t traditionally male or female. Abbreviation is IS. Noun form is Intersexuality. Read more here.
Dyadic (Adj.) – A term meaning “of two” used by intersex people to describe those who are not IS. Noun form is Dyad(s).
Perisex (Adj.) – A term whose prefix means “around,” “near,” used and coined intersex people to describe those who are not IS.
Endosex (Adj) – A term whose prefix means “within” used and coined by intersex people to describe those who are not IS.
Juxtasex (Adj) – A term whose prefix means “close to” used and coined by intersex people to describe those who are not IS.
Variation – A term used to refer to the cause of someone’s intersexuality. It is to be used instead of condition/disorder/etc. There are 3 main types of IS variations – Chromosomal, Hormonal, and Gonadal. There are some variations listed on LGBTA Wikia, the main source for this masterpost.
DSD – An abbreviation meaning either “difference of sexual development” or “disorder of sexual development.” The latter should not be used, and Variation is to be used over DSD. (Link contains list of Variations)
Intersexism / Inter(sex)phobia – The discrimination, prejudice, dislike, and hatred of and towards IS people.
Dyadism – [TW] The belief that being Dyadic is normal, correct, the default, etc., and that IS people are unnatural, wrong, diseased/deformed, insignificant, etc. Can also be called Perisexism, Endosexism, or Juxtasexism.
Transgender-Intersex – A term for an IS person whose gender identity does not match the one decided on by their doctors and/or parents at birth, and identifies as transgender and intersex at the same time. Not all intersex people who are identify as trans-intersex, however. More commonly said abbreviated as “trans-intersex.”
Assignment Related [TW]
Sex Assignment – Different from gender assignment, sex assignment is the process by which a person’s “biological sex” is determined. Everyone is assigned a sex and gender at birth, and for intersex people, sex assignment can be complicated and traumatic (see; IGM and Forced/Coerced HRT).
AXAB – Assigned “X” At Birth. For IS people who did not have a sex assigned to them at birth. A similar term is UAB.
AIAB – Assigned Intersex At Birth. For IS people whose intersexuality was recognized at birth. May be used in place of/alongside “AXAB.”
IAFAB / IAMAB – “Intersex Assigned Female At Birth” and “Intersex Assigned Male At Birth.” For IS people regardless of when their intersexuality was recognized.
CAFAB / CAMAB – “Coercively Assigned Female At Birth” and “Coercively Assigned Male At Birth.” These terms are not intersex exclusive and are generally used to underline the fact that gender assignment is nonconsensual. [TW] In the IS community these may be used to describe people who underwent IGM or other medical methods of assignment.
FAFAB / FAMAB – “Forcibly Assigned Female At Birth” and “Forcibly Assigned Male At Birth.” Used similarly to CAMAB / CAMAB in the intersex community.
IGM – [TW] Infant/Intersex Genital Mutilation. Used by IS people in reference to the surgical procedures used to alter intersex people’s genitalia/remove internal organs in order to assign or reassign our sex and/or gender.
Forced/Coerced HRT – [TW] Forced/Coerced “Hormone Replacement Treatment” is an experience that probably deserves its own name independent of HRT, however is called this due to lack of terminology. It refers to the hormones given w/o proper consent to IS people in order to make us appear dyadic. It also may be given as a result of IGM impairing or destroying organs responsible for the production of certain hormones.
Inter-Aligned – A gender alignment for nonbinary IS people whose gender is aligned with being IS instead of or alongside being masc-aligned or fem-aligned.
Amalgagender – A gender that is affected by or mixed into one’s intersex identity. A specific inte®gender.
Duogender – A gender that is a combination of male and female as a result one’s intersexuality. A specific inte®gender.
Interandrogyne – A form of Androgyne that is connected or influenced by one’s intersexuality. A specific inte®gender. Similar to Duogender and not to be confused with Interandrogynous. [Coined by me]
Divisigender – A gender that is distinct and wholly separate from male and female experienced as a result of one’s intersexuality. A specific inte®gender.
Neutroix – A gender that feels completely neutral, especially related to one’s intersexuality. Similar to Neutrois, but for intersex people only. A specific inte®gender.
Rebis – A gender that transcends the false idea of gender and sex as binaries. Not to be confused with Resbis. A specific inte®gender.
Resbis – A term to describe an intersex person who feels regularly conflicted by and is trying to reconcile with their gender identity, or who feels they have in the past struggled with their gender identity, but who has now reached a state of harmony with their gender. Not to be confused with Rebis.
Trans-Intersexual – A term for IS people who feel as if they’re both biological sexes and do not fit into the categories of “male or female.” These people fit the categories of both intersex and transgender people. Not to be confused with Transgender-Intersex.
Gender Modalities
Ipsogender – A gender modality for IS people who identify as the gender they were assigned, and may or may not identify with being cisgender due to their experiences with intersexuality, dydaism, and/or cissexism. Coined by an IS sociologist! A similar term is Advenagender. May be abbreviated as “ipso.”
Ipsofeminine – A gender modality for Ipsogender people who are of a feminine gender identity or transitioning femininely. May be abbreviated as “ipsofem.” [Coined by me]
Ipsomasculine – A gender modality for Ipsogender people who are of a masculine gender identity or transitioning masculinely. May be abbreviated as “ipsomasc.” [Coined by me]
Ultergender – A gender modality for IS people who do not identify as the gender they were assigned, and due to their intersexuality may or may not identify with being transgender. May be abbreviated as “ulter.”
Ulterfeminine – A gender modality for Ultergender people who are of a feminine gender identity or be transitioning femininely. May be abbreviated as “ulterfem.” [Coined by me]
Ultermasculine – A gender modality for Ultergender people who are of a masculine gender identity or be transitioning masculinely. May be abbreviated as “ultermasc.” [Coined by me]
Transmascfem / Transfemmasc – A gender modality for people who are both transfeminine and transmasculine as a result of being UAB, AXAB, or intersex. May also be written as “Transmascfeminine” or “Transfemmasculine.”
Inter-expressive – A term to describe an IS person (who may or may not be intergender) feels that their gender expression is deeply influenced by or intrinsically linked to their intersex variation.
XTF – A term for IS people who are transitioning femininely, regardless of whether they’re cis, trans, etc. Also can be used by transfeminine or exparfem IS people opposed to MTF.
XTM – A term for IS people who are transitioning masculinely, regardless of whether they’re cis, trans, etc. Also can be used by transmasculine or exparmasc IS people opposed to FTM.
Note on transition related language: An IS person may create longer this-to-that acronyms to describe their personal experience, which may refer past nonconsensual hormone “treatments.” An example of this is someone saying they’re XTFTMTX (Intersex to female to male to neutral / their natural body).
Culturally Exclusive Terms
Ay’lonit – A term from Jewish culture for AFAB individuals “who [have] not shown signs of typical female puberty” – “presumed infertile” and have masculine sex characteristics (Source). Historically a term to refer to intersex people, but in modern times is used by both trans and intersex Jews.

I’m gonna narrow it down here and first acknowledge lesser known fat musicians. This past weekend I just watched Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and it’s a shame that I had never heard her story until now! I’m glad she’s finally getting the recognition she deserves as the Mother of the Blues, so if I may, I want to take this opportunity to celebrate ten fat musicians of color!
Ma Rainey
A queer, Black, influential female singer and songwriter of the 1920s. She was the first popular stage entertainer to incorporate authentic blues into her song repertoire and became known as the “Mother of the Blues!” With her unapologetic lyrics, Rainey proudly proclaimed her bisexuality and helped to mainstream Black female narratives in a musical style that later became a nationwide craze.
Bessie Smith
The Black, queer, “Empress of the Blues” who began as Ma Rainey’s protegé, later became the most popular female blues singer of the 1920s and 1930s! She wrote songs about liberated women, and had a plainspoken style that foreshadowed rap, and was a major influence on fellow blues singers and jazz vocalists.
Sister Rosetta Tharpe
The “Godmother of Rock and Roll!” A Black, queer, guitar-playing gospel singer, who paved the way for Elvis, Chuck Berry, and influenced everyone from Miranda Lambert to Bob Dylan! She crafted the sound in the 30s and 40s, her gospel recordings were characterized by a unique mixture of spiritual lyrics and rhythmic accompaniment that was a precursor of rock and roll. F*ck the Beatles, Sister Rosetta is the original rocker!
Willie Mae “Big Mama” Thornton
A Black female (and gender non-conforming) drummer, harmonicist, singer and songwriter of the 1950s! She was a formative figure in the rhythm and blues genre. The songs “Hound Dog” and “Ball and Chain” became huge hits for Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin in later years, but Big Mama Thornton sang them first!
Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, or “Bruddah Iz”
A Native Hawaiian `ukulele player, singer-songwriter, and activist, who is best known for his beloved rendition of “Over the Rainbow” in 1988 and forever changing the face of Hawaiian music. Through his joyful songs and lifelong advocacy for the islands’ values and culture, Kamakawiwo`ole has been widely referred to as the “Voice of Hawai`i!”

Tedy
Tedy is a Haitian immigrant, who has moved around from various cities in both America and Canada. Originally a Youtuber, Tedy is a budding musician with little background in songwriting, but you’d never know it. He cultivated his distinct, soulful and explosive musical style by drawing on melodies and sounds he picked up throughout his life and his exposure to different cultures. Tedy released the singles “Can I” in 2016, and “Hold on Tighter” in 2018. Now signed to Sony Music, Tedy is back with the new EP Boys Don’t Cry. The emotionally charged track rides an expressive journey through feelings of fear, sadness, acceptance, and finally empowerment. Be sure to give it a listen!
G.R. Gritt is a Juno Award winning, Two-Spirit, Transgender, Anishinaabe/Metis artist. They reclaim space through songs that show that intersectional identity is expansive and not to be divided into parts. By exploring the emotional and cultural core of their heritage as a non-binary, queer, Indigenous artist, they create new space and encourage others to do the same. Gritt is currently preparing for the release of a new full-length album titled, Ancestors, on Coax Records. Their first single, “Quiet Years” is out now! Check it out!
Brittany Howard is known for being the lead vocalist, guitarist, and main songwriter of rock bands Alabama Shakes and Thunderbitch. In 2019, she struck out on her own to write and produce a record that comes from the perspective of a queer, mixed-race woman, born to a Black father and white mother in the same city as the founder of neo-Nazi message board Stormfront and a former Grand Wizard in the Klan. Jaime, named in memoriam after Howard’s late sister, is a soul record built for and by our turbulent times, seeking humanity. Listen to it now!
Tunde Olaniran is a Nigerian-American, gender non-comforming artist from Flint, Michigan. They have quickly embedded themself into the Detroit music scene; a singer, rapper, dancer, choreographer, producer and activist. Their music abandons all preconceptions of what pop can be. Their thematically-rich 2018 record Stranger supplied plenty of rhythms to exercise Olaniran’s voice, as they waxed poetic about what it means to be known. Their lyrics contain multitudes; they can speak on the Black experience, Celine Dion, and science fiction, and float seamlessly between subjects with grace. Their new single, “WDIWHI,” just came out in November! Give it a play!
Crys Matthews is a queer, Black singer and songwriter who blends Americana, folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass and funk into a bold, complex performance steeped in traditional melodies. Her two 2017 releases, a full-length album called The Imagineers, about love and life, and an EP called Battle Hymn for an Army of Lovers, which tackles social justice themes. Over the summer, she released a single titled “Six Feet Apart” with Heather Mae (another amazing fat musician!!) as well as their virtual Pride tour ‘The Singing OUT Tour’, which allowed others to continue to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community from the safety and comfort of their own homes. “Six Feet Apart” is a stunning concoction of Mae’s soulful vocals and Matthews’ organic tones, fused to form a beautiful release with a relatable narrative. Be sure to listen and give Crys some support!

Before someone asks: T4t is when a trans person dates another trans person (and it especially also refers to trans people who date trans people exclusively) (And before someone says that’s being a chaser there is a HUGE difference between a trans person dating other trans people exclusively for comfort and understanding and a cis person seeking out trans people exclusively and objectifying them to satisfy their own gross fantasies okay I will steal your toes) But anyways the purple colors are a mix of the pink and blue on the trans flag, the white stripe is of course for non binary people, and there’s two intertwining trans symbols to represent trans love!! What I thought is:
Purple represents multi attraction;
Gray represents the “gray-a” component in paro attraction;
Green represents how this orientation doesn’t really fit in with others, since they usually assume the same attraction to all genders they cover;
Red represents the “feeling attraction” component;
The shape of the flag reminds of how paro attraction is “divided” between genders.
