Here’s a link to my Redbubble shop if you want one of them as a sticker or a shirt or like…a bath mat I guess:

Useful West Iberian words for she/her men & he/him women:
Macha: an epicene word indicating she/her male, also a feminine singular of adjective macho.
Femeo (fembro/hembro): an epicene word denoting he/him female, also a masculine singular of adjective fêmea/fembra/hembra.
Epicenity is used in linguistics as grammatical genders following a lingual agreement (concord) common of any gender. This concordance may be compared to pronoun sets. They are like gender-neutral words, because it’s also used for any animal regardless of gender/sex.
Machembra was used as a slur in the past apparently, machembre/machembro reclaimable to femaches and femals, plus machême(o)[s]/machêmea(s), malembra(s)/malême(a)s, malembre(s)/malembro(s)/malêmeo(s)
If you have any problems with this particular term or flag design, please let me know. I may take the post down & will certainly do my best to correct the issue.🦋
Nebulahomo: someone who is definitely attracted to the same gender, but due to neurodivergency, attraction is confusing and may or may not be attracted to other genders.

I hereby declare that the muti gender attracted community be called the BOP community:

Pará (slang), para- (prefix), parant (adjective) or paradent (identity)
Paradence or parance (as in dissidence and ambident): being beyond variance and conformance, and/or, being both and/or neither and/or inbetween.
(From my previous blog) CREEPERGENDER Creepergender is a gender based on Creepers from the video game Minecraft! Creepergender is a term to describe the presence of a gender, but once it is approached or questioned, it’s as if it explodes into pieces that are remnants of the gender that used to be there. The remaining gender feels faint and not entirely there as it once was, and the pieces are scattered around haphazardly. Creepergender can be combined with other terms, such as creeperenby, creeperboy, creepergirl, etc. You can also identify as partly creepergender and partly (an)other gender(s). The pieces can all be the same gender at once, or can vary amongst eachother! This gender is hectic and messy in nature. COLOR MEANINGS Black – The presence of gender felt prior to the explosion. Medium green – The gender itself prior to the explosion. Light green – The ambiguity of the gender, both before and after the explosion. Off-white – The remains of the gender in the aftermath of the explosion. Red – The explosion itself.
This flag is free to use for anything, but please credit me!
Hello! this is my first post here- but this one is Autumnalloromantic! Autumnalloromantic: when you only feel attraction during the fall, or when the fall season makes you feel more open to romance!
junosexual! feeling attraction only towards women and all genders under the nonbinary umbrella regardless of agab, but not cis men. i also came up with some potential meanings for the stripes: The pale yellow stripe represents attraction for more feminine aligned genders The pink stripe represents attraction for women The whitish strip represents attraction to agender/genderless friends The purple represents asexuality towards men and the mustard stripe represents attraction to masculine aligned genders <3<3<3<3
feminexolvuntursexual- when you are a lesbian or greatly attracted to women, but your attraction varies depending on the time of day! Example: In the morning, you may not feel much attraction, but at night you do, and vice versa.
:
hai gaiz!! as u may know, i coined Crypticoric! and after many monthz… ive made da flag!
here are da meaning of the colors, from top to bottom (the black stripe)
A gender that encompasses 3 individual genders; one gender is a “surface” gender, what you present as to strangers/irl people, the second is a gender you present only to friends/exclusives, and the third inner gender is your true gender you are comfortable with.
the one on the left is a split image of my simplified genderflux flag and the genderfluid flag, with a circle of the bi flag in the middle (i was thinking abt making it a star but got lazy)
i also want to practice making combo colors, the example on the right isnt the greatest but ill figure it out
definition: a gender characterized by sharp teeth, claws, and all things vicious and ferocious, perfect for destroying truscum and cis folk. can be snarlboy, snarlgirl, snarlnonbinary, w/e
Snarlgender: A gender characterized by viciousness and ferocity as well as fangs, claws, talons and stingers designed for destroying the concept of transedicalism and the cisheteropatriarchy.
Nebulagay: someone who is definitely attracted to men, but due to neurodivergency, attraction is confusing and may or may not be attracted to other genders.
Time to coin another term, Nyanbinary. I’m not quite sure if this has been used as a term previously, though I wouldn’t quite be surprised if it has… in the case that it has, the term can be changed to “Nyanbinarie” or “Nyanbunary” depending on preference. The former would have the binary as a pun on prairie, the latter having binary as a pun on bunnies. It can be shortened to nyanb/nyanby/nyanbie depending on preference.
Definition:
To exist outside of the male/female gender binary, but to have never previously felt apart of it due to alienation from humanity or the system itself. You do not need to have a specific tie relating to cats, you simply must feel inhuman in some way, whether it manifests through your gender, person, both, or in some other way entirely.
Stripe meanings:
Pink: Comfort in inhumanity.
Orange: Disconnection from humanity.
Yellow: Nonbinary genders.
Purple: The vastness of inhumanity & the vastness of nonbinary genders.
This can be used by any nonbinary person who fits the definition! It is, in general, an umbrella term, but can be used on its own as a descriptor.
I coin this term specifically due to the fact that I have never quite felt able to refer to myself as nonbinary as I had never felt apart of the male/female gender binary in the first place, but suddenly felt a connection to the term when making a pun on the “non” portion of nonbinary with “nyan” due to its seeming removal of connection to humanity.
I’m unsure if there are any terms similar to this in nature, but either way, I present this one forth.
I am also open to suggestions in reference to anything; at the current moment, my creativity feels quite drained, so I am curious for any positive input. :]
This term lacked a flag, so I created one for this post. This flag consists of seven, solid-colored horizontal stripes, with the center stripe being a modified yellow stripe with a large center-most portion being white. From top to bottom, they are pastel yellow, greige, light grey, the modified yellow stripe, light grey, greige and pastel yellow. Flag by Gent (Gender-Resource), 2020. The flag is meant to symbolize a gender that is hollow, represented by the center modified yellow stripe. The other six other stripes represent the “shell” of the gender, represented by grey, which is unfelt, represented through pastel yellow, the color associated with this Dingender.
Oposgender: A “gender” where you view gender as pointless- Genderless, due not to a lack of identification with any, but due to a refusal to participate in the construct. From Greek “άσκοπος”/“áskopos”, meaning pointless.
Asifgender: A gender that feels hazy, dreamlike, or is hard to conceptualize, due to neurodivergence. From Greek “ασαφής”/“asafís”, meaning hazy.
A few new labels- Thank you to @mothgender for the help with coining!
Abracagender: A gender that feels magical and seems to appear and disappear at random, leaving you without a gender. Can be used as a prefix to any gender (Abracapangender, Abracademigender, etc)
Atoutgender: a gender associated with a card in the major arcana of the tarot. ‘Atout’ roughly translates to “trump (card)”, another term for the major arcana.

Charmagender: a feminine gender that feels magical in nature.

Polargender: A transgender person who completely lacks the femininity/masculinity normally associated with their gender identity and has no desire to become more masculine or more feminine in order to fit gender roles or to “pass”.
There is another term of the same name, also called “Polarian”, which is defined as:
A gender for a bipolar person whose gender changes depending on what type of episode they’re experiencing . This is a gender that can only be reclaimed by people with forms of bipolar disorder.
This term was coined by user nebularomantic in 2019. To distinguish between the two, I would like to suggest that a synonym of Polargender, as defined in 2014, to be Antithetigender, based on the word “antithetical”, meaning “to be in complete and utter opposition against the character of something. This could be used as Antithetigirl, Antithetiboy, Antithetinonbinary, etc.
Flag
This term lacked a flag, so I created one. This flag consists of five, solid-colored horizontal stripes of the same color. From top to bottom, they are mint green, salmon, orchid purple, lime green and white. Flag by Gent (Gender-Resource), 2020. The color meanings are as follows:
The light mint green stripe represents masculine, non-male individuals.
The salmon stripe represent feminine, non-female individuals.
The orchid purple stripe represents Male, Female and Abinary individuals with a Midbinary alignment.
The lime green stripe represents Male, Female and Midbinary individuals with an Abinary alignment.
The white stripe represents the quality of not choosing to fulfill cultural gender roles and lacking the desire to “pass”.
Polarboy: A transgender person who completely lacks the masculinity normally associated with their gender identity
and has no desire to become more masculine in order to
fit gender roles or to “pass”.
Polargirl: A transgender person who completely lacks the femininity normally associated with their gender identity and has no desire to become more feminine in order to fit gender roles or to “pass”.
Biheter(o)-/Bihetr(o)-/Hetrobi-/Heterobi-: being bi- and heter(o)- in the same form of orientation (ie. bisexual & heterosexual); <fluctuating> between hetro- and bi-; hetero-leaning bi, could be biflexible &/or hetroflexible/ela-/straightflexible.
Bihom(o)- or Homobi-: being bi- and homo- in the same form of orientation (ie. bisexual & homosexual); <fluctuating> between homo- and bi- (as in gaybi- & lesbi-); homo-leaning bi, could be biflexible &/or homoflexible/aniso- (gayflexible/lesbiflexible).
Nebulalesbian: someone who is definitely attracted to women, but due to neurodivergency, attraction is confusing and may or may not be attracted to other genders.
Made some questioning flags upon popular request!💜💙💚💛
The bottom three are alternates for those who are questioning just one thing!
The pink is for those questioning their sexuality, the indigo is for those questioning their gender, and the turquoise is for those questioning their pronouns!
They’re all free to use but please credit me/provide a link if you do!!!
several demisexual + elasexual combo flags for anon! they asked for me to do a version with the original demi flag and a version with the diamond redesign. i did two versions with the diamond, since i couldn’t decide which i preferred!
An identity in which the user closely relates to the feeling of staying in an older hotel; long carpeted dimly lit hallways, the faint smell of chlorine and the strong smells of must/rose&tobacco, with the overall feeling of comfortable uncanny-ness.
Note: xenoic was coined by @nonbinarysorcery covering xenic (xeno-aligned) and xeno(gender).
[id= first flag is bright yellow, light yellow, white, peachy orange, and pink from top to bottom. second flag is earthy green, lavendery purple, white, peach orange, and pink from top to bottom. /end id]
While I like the asexual flag, I really liked the idea of having one that was explicitly for those who are ace-spec in many different ways and variations. Any ace-spec person can use this!
im hovergender!!!! its a gender i made for myself. its very personal to me but others can use it!! the void can also mean a general sence of being queer.
dracostatic: someone who cannot choose just a single or a few label(s) for their static gender, so they ‘hoard’ many terms that describe them, similar to a dragon’s hoard. this term is similar to genderhoarder and drakefluid, but different in that it is 1) not fluid or flux (though it can contain fluid or flux identities) and 2) not exclusive to dragonkin.
the colors are inspired by the drakefluid flag, since this term is dragon-themed, i used a gem as the symbol because gems are often part of the stereotypical dragon hoard, and the stripe formatting + circle come from the static genderhoarder flag!
the suffix ‘static’ signifies that a gender is not fluid (i chose this over the suffix ‘stable’, meaning not flux, because i felt that it flowed better), and i chose ‘draco’ over ‘drake’ as i felt that ‘drakestatic’ could potentially be mistaken for a dragonkin-exclusive identity due to the similarity to ‘drakefluid’.
Using girlby flag. Another name for it could be mengirlby (men+en-+girl+-by), mangirlby, mengirlbie, girlmenbie, girlmanby, galmenby/galmenbie, mengalby, mangalby/mangalbie/mengalbie, girlmenbie. Based on womenboy
Plusho- and Toy- pride flags! For people under the objectophilia umbrella who are attracted to stuffed animals, toys, and related objects!
The red stripe represents love and femininity. The orange stripe represents vitality and the endorphins hugging releases. The middle stripe represents intimacy, see below… The green stripe represents improvisation, curiosity, and sometimes asexuality. The blue stripe represents healing and masculinity.
The white stripe refers to softness, like the cottony interior of those we cuddle with, and the grey stripe is for people who prefer firmer partners, from plastic to even certain types of robots! White-stripe Toy examples are like hollow toys, and grey-stripe Plush examples are like plushies that talk and have plastic inside.
I saw a few blogs like this, and decided to make my own… please feel free to send in your canons or headcanons for any characters!! I don’t know how well this blog will do though, since staff decided people in this spectrum are not valid. Wish me luck…!!
the harvey milk institute had been presenting “femme gender conferences” in the late 1990′s that were attended by hundreds of people and had workshops not just on butch/femme lesbian identities but on bi femme, trans femme, and gay femme identities as well, and also solidarity workshops between butch lesbians and trans men and conversations on what femme means for gay men vs bi women vs trans women. here’s a newspaper report from 1998 announcing the conference as well.
whatever opinions you have on who “gets” to use butch/femme and “when”, at least stop lying about the fact that bi women have no historical connection to “femme”. they do, and this was acknowledged merely 20-30 years ago. don’t tell bi women to read stone butch blues or boots of leather, slippers of gold when you’re implicitly calling them man-worshipping sluts who ~perform femininity for men~ and when you yourself have a biased view of lgbt history that lacks nuance and diversity. don’t tell bi women that only lesbians have a connection to femme when these conferences about the various uses of butch and femme in different sub-communities of lgbt people (not just bi women but also gay men and trans women and trans men, lol) were being conducted way before the advent of the “queer femme” identity or ace discourse and before some of you even knew what lgbt terminology was LMFAO
amy fox, trans butch, from persistence: all ways butch and femme.
[image transcript: Dykes are not fragile flowers. Many femmes wear the flaming rose. It’s a flower, but it’ll fight back if you try to crush it. What tough flower would symbolize us butches? Or do we fear that butches are the fragile ones, anxious to leave dykespace?
We fear men will undo us, erase us; that we must guard against their entrance into our spaces, or our sister’s pants. But men have been part of butch-femme for as long as I can remember. Pre-electrical lesbian spaces contained trans-spectrum men who feared presenting as male in public, and butches who feared looking mannish because of laws, written and unwritten, that prohibited putting a vagina in a pair of pants. Medical transition has been around since the 1930s, and it has not destroyed us. There were gay men who shared our bar scene, and their business kept many of “our” bars afloat. The lesbian communities that most feared men were those that also feared femmes, butches, transsexuals, and every other stripe of gender freedom.
Butch-femme is tough. We are tough. Our culture has survived alcoholism, homophobia, beatings, corrupt vice squads, poverty, and the sex wars- plus all the other problems of living. I think we can survive transgender medicine.
The happiest butch-femme spaces I’ve seen are those that embrace the gender spectrum. There we find butches and femmes who go by “she” and love their unmodified bodies. We have FtMs who’ve done the works- T, top, and crotch- who may be men or butch or femme or more. They include me and others who transitioned into being butches. They include femmes without questioning their taste in lovers. And it works.
Men will not undo us. But an unchecked fear of men- of becoming a man, dating a man, having been forced to be one, looking too much like one, being too attractive to men in general, or aiding and abetting any of the above- can and will make our community unliveable if we let it. But we should not fear or police ourselves. If we did that, there’d be no butch or femme in the first place. end transcript]
Abinary – Any gender that is completely unrelated to maleness/masculinity or to femaleness/femininity, and is nowhere inbetween, while not necessarily being agender, although agender people may also identify as abinary. (This is an umbrella term, but may also be used as a specific gender, similar to the term nonbinary!)
ALT
Neutrois – A gender that is neutral or null. It is sometimes considered an umbrella term, with each person experiencing “neutrois” differently. Common definitions include feeling a gender that is neutral, gender that is null or void, or similar genderless feelings to agender.
ALT
Maverique – A gender that is defined completely independent from male, female, neutral, or anything derived from any of them. It is characterized by autonomy and inner conviction regarding a sense of gender which is unorthodox, unconventional and entirely independent of conventional concepts of gender. Maveriques have a distinct and firm sense of gender that is not male or female.
ALT
*Aporagender – A gender/gender spectrum defined as being “a gender separate from male, female, and anything in between, while still having a very strong and specific gendered feeling”. Aporagender people are not a combination of male and female, but and still have a strong gendered feeling, unlike agender.
*Note: Maverique and aporagender were coined around the same time, and have a large overlap. The main difference is that aporagender can be used as an umbrella, and by definiton includes genders like neutrois and maverique, while maverique is its own specific gender.
These are only a few examples! I suggest searching “abinary” or “autonomous” genders to find more. It’s also worth noting that many xenogenders are unaligned or don’t have a connection to the binary, so they might be worth looking into as well!
(I’d also like to mention: The term “third gender” has racist and xenophobic roots, and should be avoided! There are many other terms to choose from, please don’t use that one.)
currently, there is a russian bill being pushed that will:
– allow sex markers only on birth certificates, thus disallowing trans people from changing their gender marker and forcing those who already have to change theirs back.
– re-label current straight marriages involving a trans person as ‘same-sex’, and as gay marriage is illegal in russia, no more straight couple involving trans folks will be allowed to marry and those that are already married will no longer have their unions recognized by the government.
– birth certificates will be requested at the time of future marriages, disallowing folks who changed their documents after transitioning from getting married, as their birth certificate HAS to indicate their birth sex now.
– no longer recognize gay marriages that were performed outside of russia. some of you may remember similar things happening before gay marriage was legalized in all 50 states – a gay couple could leave their state to get married somewhere where it was legal, but when they returned home, their marriage would not be recognized.
– and couples russia considers ‘same-sex’ – both gay marriages performed outside of russia and straight marriages including a trans person performed in russia – will no longer be able to adopt or otherwise become legal guardians of children.
if nothing else, sign this petition. if you can, donate to this russian lgbtq+ organization. if you have a platform at all, post this information, use the hashtag #ProtectRussianTransLives (as well as
#явместестранссообществом and #НетТрансфобнымЗакона), and get this message out to as many people as you possibly can.
Other Gender-ness or Eligender: indicates otherly/different/foreign but also objective/applied gender identity; beyond pre-established/subsequent gender items; an unspecified (nullary) / an equinary gender that is not applicable or implied to the actual rest of accessing alternatives.
Usually in documents / formularies after male and female options, such as the Japanese X-gender, sometimes seen as an abinary (outrogender) or «trans» non-binary.
Note: this isn’t a culture specific term, not to be confused with third-genders and “some” genders of sociological identities. ~ ap
Also known as gender othering (where as it’s othered/other-ated). It’s this indirectly/implicitly combatted/fought in some n-by circles… Since many of these options are also to classify/group sex traits and intersex/dyadic/endosex/perisex bodily variations (plus altersex/protosex as well).
Some may use “trans” alone, going without saying anything or barely mentioning a description. I tried my best to define this. Idk I’m not sure if @variant-archive helped me this time… Or was it just third-gender‽
Describing pengenders/penugenders/penegender/paenegenders/paenugenders/paengenders, paragenders, quasi-genders, -jux-/-prox(imal)- genders, perigenders and almogenders. Who are proximal to certain gender in the spectrum.

Ultimatrois
Or ultrois. Conoting ultimate genders or gender ultimacy, your final/last gender (previous/prior/recent/subsequent) or its extremity/maximum. Your foremost, furthest gender (innermost/utmost/midmost/topmost), but it’s ultimary not citimary/citrois, ulterior(ity) not citerior(ity) [citi-/citer-/citra- is the opposite of ultra-/ulti-/ulter-].
Ultimarity could be an (ant)arity that goes beyond limits or is subsequent/ends somewhere. Uls denotes beyond, just as extr(a)-/exter-.
Paenultrois/paenultimatrois can result in (pro/pre)antepenultrois/(pro/pre)antepaenultrois/(pro/pre)antepaenultimatrois/(pro/pre)antepenultimatrois, indicating gender(s) before the penultimate one, that you may or may not have.
Being trans is not a mental illness/ you don’t need dysphoria to be trans: 12 3 4 567 (this one is massive) 8 (also if you want a living example of a cis person with dysphoria search godflex here on tumblr, careful it’s nsfw)
Gendertorrent-a gender that feels like it flows like a river, ever changing but feeling similar. It can be muddy, have rocks and moss in it, and other things. Anything a River or stream would have, it likely has.
Fanpayic: A kin gender that has a strong relation and connection to vampires. Specifically for vampire otherkin. The name comes from the Yoruba word for “vampire” (fanpaya).
Ọmutic: A gender that has strong connections to vampires, be it spiritually, as an otherkin, emotionally, etc. Not necessarily a kin gender The name comes from the Yoruba word for “drinker of blood” (ọmuti).
Sorry it took me so long to reply. I couldn’t find anything that fit, so I just coined these two. Hope one of them works out! ~Mod Che

i couldn’t find anything for fallen angels or dark feathers, but i did find:
genderhollow: a gender that is present, but is empty or hollow. also known as genderempty
lachrymosian: a genderless gender related to darkness, night, quietness, and the feeling of coldness. it barely exists and can constantly appear and reappear
i saw something about emotion genders somewhere, but i can’t find the post anymore
of course, if these don’t fit quite right and you can’t find a good label, you’re welcome to coin your own! (⁀ ◡ ⁀) 💖💖
While I like the asexual flag, I really liked the idea of having one that was explicitly for those who are ace-spec in many different ways and variations. Any ace-spec person can use this!
In order: Bi flag version 1, bi flag version 2, rainbow/gay pride flag, lesbian flag, transgender flag, Non-binary flag, asexual flag, aromatic flag, pan flag, and gender fluid flag! Feel free to use (credit me if you want to!) and let me know if you want another flag or another version of a flag, these are really fun to make!
Hey look, a pride flag for a term that is almost never used anymore!! What term is that, I hear nobody asking? Kiki!
Kiki was a term used for lesbians that didn’t identify exclusively as butch or femme. It was used around the 1940s-60s timeframe typically in bars, and was used as a derogatory term for those who didn’t fit into the butch-femme dynamic. People had an immense pressure to label themselves at this time, which is why the label got created in the first place, rather than just letting people say they’re “both” or “neither”.
I personally prefer this term over the term ‘chapstick lesbian’, so I thought I should share this label with y’all as well as this flag I made up. The butch and femme flags use warm colors so I thought having a cooler color scheme would be a nice change.
A gender you only feel when in shift as your kintype(s). The gender suffix can be replaced with the gender felt. For example shiftboy, shiftgirl, shiftnonbinary etc.
The next flag is mentalshiftgender.
A gender you only feel in mental shift as your kintype(s). Gender suffix can be replaced with the gender felt.
The next flag is sensoryshiftgender
A gender you only feel when in sensory shift as your kintype(s). Gender suffix can be replaced with the gender felt.
Last flag is phantomshiftgender
A gender you only feel when in phantom shift as your kintype(s). Gender suffix can be replaced with the gender felt.
A subgender of both faunagender and scigender. Comparable to arctic wolves.
[ BEGIN IMAGE ID: A flag cut in half. One side is dark grey with a light blue wolf outline overlaid. The other side is composed of 7 stripes, varying from dark grey, to white, to light blue. The second image is of the same colors but simplified into 7 horizontal stripes. ]
Definition: Luparctdom (adj. luparctic) is a gender compared to or influenced by arctic wolves. It’s resistant to the cold via a layer of thick fuzz. Luparctdom is strong or even territorial in the face of this cold. It has a dominant role in many interactions.
“Gay transmasc” in this case is defined as: any transmasculine individual who experiences same-gender or similar-gender attraction to masculine individuals in a way they feel is gay.
If you’re thinking “isn’t there already a gay transmasc flag?” the answer is probably yes. I don’t care how much use this one sees, if it’s only me who uses it that’s fine. But due to how I interact with color symbolism thanks to autism, I get very frustrated and upset with flags designed to be “masculine” or “male” focused that are overwhelmingly blue. Maybe I’m just a nonbinary guy and that’s why, but I get upset seeing things like the recent “gay” flag for gay men that’s just blue, blue, blue! No hate to blue – but why why why keep using a stereotypical color for men and masculine people? It’s upsetting to me for that reason.
But I don’t want to take away any joy anyone might feel from those flags – so I made my own. Here is the (Warmth) Gay Transmasc flag. Use it, or don’t! No pressure.
The colors represent:
-binary trans men (deep maroon)
-not-quite binary trans men/transmascs and intersex men as well as masc individuals who may or may not consider themselves/their identity as an intersex person to be trans (but who may identify with this concept, if desired) (red)
-nonbinary men and transmascs (orange), genderless transmascs (yellow), and finally, red once more for masc attraction and anyone trans who feels attached to masculinity or maleness but does not feel included in the above definitions. (This includes individuals who are only sometimes are men, or who are men as well as other genders simultaneously.)
Ultimately if you think it fits and you want to use it, go for it. And if not, don’t feel pressured. I made this for me. But you can use it too.
these are all abbreviations for the non-cis/het/perisex community. but what do they all mean? and which one should we use?
LGBTQ+ – lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, plus. the most common and well known (inclusive) abbreviation. sometimes written as LGBT+ or LGBTQIA+ (adding intersex and asexual/aromantic)
MOGAI – marginalized orientations, genders, and intersex. it is short and easy to say but includes many many identities
GRSM – gender, romantic, and sexual minorities. also explicitly includes a wide range of identities
so which one is the best? spoiler: that is up to the individual to decide which one they use! i personally prefer LGBTQ+ because it is most familiar and easily recognized, and i feel that it highlights the community’s diversity.
however i certainly see the value in MOGAI and GRSM to clearly include all identities under the + so use whatever you are most comfortable with!
please note some people may not like being referred to with one of these terms (for example they may be okay with GRSM but not MOGAI, or MOGAI but not LGBTQ+, etc) this is valid and okay! respect their decisions!
—also none of these acronyms include p*doph*les—
There’s also RASGKL…Some ppl say sexual minority and its acronyms include paraphilias…There’s also SAGA, which one of the most vagues enough to be not exclusive of anything (like diversity). I like the BPQUA initials, similarly with BATPANDA… GLA, GLS, GLOW… MOGII… QUILTBAG… GSD/GSRD/GRSD. There are probably more that weren’t popular I guess… Some included H of HIV+ or homosexual (as in HBTQ, since lesbisk isn’t regular in Danish/Swedish). Some include 2(S) of two spirit(ed) and tri spirit(ed). It’s funny/cool to me collecting a bunch of acronyms.
[Image ID: Two 3:5 flags with 6 horizontal stripes. In descending order, the colors are: violet, purple, cream, seafoam green, green, and brown.
There is text displayed on each stripe of the second flag. On the violet in stripe reads “Community & Friendship,” on the purple reads “Love in All Forms,” on the cream reads “Diversity in Gender & Gender Expression,” on the seafoam green reads “Unique Connections to the Gay Identity,” on the green reads “Sexuality & Sensuality,” and on the brown reads “Racial, Ethnic, & Cultural Diversity & Intersectionality”. The text on the violet and brown stripes are white while the rest of the text is black. End ID.]
I wanted to try my hand at making a gay flag! For the colors, I took inspiration from the blue larkspur (Delphinium ajacis), in reference to the myth of Hyakinthos, and from nature in general. Since the main color inspiration is from the myth, I’m proposing this be called the Larkspur Gay flag.
Autofictosexual: being romantically/sexually attracted to fictional characters, but only those that you create. This attraction is not as much affected by your ability to create characters that suit your tastes as it is by the fact that you created them yourself.
Cocooning (silk, transgender slang): someone who is still in the process of “transitioning”; protectively casing/covering/wrapping yourself in the closet/closeted.
Useful for classical binary trans individuals who want a “binary” gender transcendence, or trans folx who just want being perceived as the gender they are (aka “passing”). It’s called casulo in Neo-Latin.
Countdown to The Last of Us Part II: ELLIE’SJOURNEY
[on Ellie’s quest for revenge] “Ellie wants to make it right by bringing the people responsible to justice, even if she has to go at it alone.” […] “She has to dig in deep to that survivor and say ‘These people cannot get away with this.’” ― Neil Druckmann, creative director
“Obviously Ellie experiences this deep trauma, it has an impact on her that’s going to affect how she engages with the world. That’s going to affect her tone as we sort of descend through that. That being said, Ellie is driven by love. It’s love that sends her on this mission for justice. It’s love that she feels for Joel, for Dina – these moments that buoy her.” ― Halley Gross, narrative lead
“There are reasons. She’s gone through some sh–t.” ― Ashley Johnson, voice actor
Neutersex Bodily Variations: conceptualizing your sex traits as gender-neutral; or seeing your own body (either material or immaterial) as sex neutral.
Megatrois (megatronic): a excessive leptrality; describing a leptonic/leptronic extremity; a leptive charge very large in size, extent, capacity, or amount; [a] great leptrois.
… as an alloaro(apl) would it be like. Bad for me to make a term for explicitly sexual QPRs, since that’s basically the only type of intimate relationship I have (besides familial bonds)? Is it bad if it’s partially out of spite for That One Alloarophobic Term? Just… feeling out the room on this one…
Pls do I’d support it since I’m almost like that. But isn’t it casual relations‽
Crusty-dusty flag because Procreate suck at coloring, I’m sorry!
Vivikenum: gender that feels calm and rhythmic at the same time, associates with warm colors, cozy rooms, winter and autumn, glitches and melody. Can be aesthetigender or musicagender(of the artist you think this description can be applied). This label was I inspired by music of Weval, electronic duo from Netherlands.
citrongender: a gender that can be related to the flavor of citrus or specific citrus fruits, or can simply have a citrus-y feel or flavor to it. the word citron is a synonym for citrus according to google (apparently it’s also a fruit so if someone finds a better citrus synonym please let me know) colors were chosen based on the orange, lime, and lemon, which are citrus fruits
I couldn’t find a gender that was citrus related that didn’t also have other things added onto it, so I thought to myself “hmm…I should make it myself instead of waiting for it to show up”
flag description: a six striped flag, first stripe is orange, second stripe is a slightly darker orange, third stripe is a bright green, fourth stripe is a dark green, fifth stripe is yellow, and the last stripe is dark yellow. end description.
A subgender of scigender/a xenogender in the scigendology system likened to the natural sciences and its subdisciplines.
[ BEGIN IMAGE ID: A pride flag for naturium. It has 7 geometric corner z stripes, ranging from dark blue to light green, with shades in between. The second image is a simplified version with even horizontal stripes. END IMAGE ID. ]
Definition: Naturium is a part of the scigendology gender system. It is likened to the natural sciences, and as such, is an umbrella term for the disciplines therein (ex: biology, astronomy). It’s a gender that is felt more strongly when in nature or studying nature, often earthy in its expression.
[start image description: a flag with three stripes and a circle in the middle, the top stripe is red, the middle stripe is black, and the bottom stripe is yellow, the circle in the middle is orange, end image description]
Red: Chaos in your gender experience Black: Gender Uncertainty Yellow: Different ADHD individuals experiences with gender and with ADHD Orange: Having ADHD (the color on the ADHD ribbon)
Nocturine: a gender that is active during the night and gone during the day. can be used as nocturaboy, nocturagirl, etc. based off of the word nocturnal.
Color meanings:
Black ~ A connection to night time
Dark blue ~ A connection to it being late
Dark blue-violet ~ A connection to dusk
Dark violet ~ A connection to dawn
Blue-violet ~ A connection to twilight hours as a whole
Violet ~ A connection to darker periods in general
Moze (a neolingual noun parallel with moza and mozo): a monolexical neolabel parallel with man and woman; the epicene/gender neutral of boy and girl; an abinary genderedness apart from male and female.
Cognate of moce/moçe (deriving moça/moço) and moscie (from moscio/moscia). Mocidade (mozeness/moceness) means youth. Since cedilla (ç) is often translated as zed/zee (z), as in Moçambique/Mozambique, because of its Visigothic origin (ꝣ).
In West Iberian the suffixes -o/-a do binarized gender inflection, so any other vowel/letter makes a neutralized declension. Just as in Latinx/Latine.
Note this isn’t the same as enby, as enby is an abbreviation of nonbinary. Mozes could refer to generic people, such as in pals, however just as in folx, folks might use moze to be a specific non-binary identity. This identity is asynchronously and conceptually epin/nin/oin/abin/uin.

They’re just that, trolls. They do not represent the actual beliefs of anyone in the community.
This is not a discourse post! This is just to remind people that are anti MOGAI that they’re going to have to try harder to find something actually wrong with us that just posting troll blogs.
Ik ppl are fairly defending this in the notes. But if you’re comfortable using those terms, prepare yourself to be seen as a troll
Femal (a play with male/female terminology): experiencing both m/f viagenders (fiagender/fiaspec and miaspec/miagender); similar to/interchangeable with femache, but now it’s anglophone/anglospherical/anglo-saxonic.
Could be a centrigender, monogender, multigender/polygender, plurigender, gender-fluid, gendervast/vastgender, etc. As long as it feels/needs both f/m components. May be a lingender, in the sense of both feminility (fem(inile)/femeal(ity)) and masculinity (masc(uline)/virility) being/been associated with fin/min in your culture, but femality/femal-ness is explicitly liagender/liaspec.

Alt words: werewif(e), werwif(e), fmal(ity), femalia, femalism…
I’m tired of a Majority blaming the actor for their roles. Blame the casting, producers or editors. A bipoc isn’t at fault for their melanin. Support bipoc artist.

An idea to match my trigender flag redesign: This is my bigender flag proposal. Something super simple and not so binary-gendered. The purple and orange are two genders, but they sort of transition into the white stripe to show where someone’s bigender identity might be more fluid or overlapping.
Neutrofluid/Queerfluid – a gender identity falling under genderfluid category, it’s a gender identity that only travels between nonbinary genders, never binary male/female
green – nonbinary tied to binary spectrum white – lack of/all genders yellow – nonbinary outside the binary spectrum greyish blue – demi genders purple – multiple genders identity
Hello! I’ve invented a system of space-themed xenic alignments that I’m calling the Cosmoic Alignments. I wanted to keep them completely independent of male, female, masc, and fem as well as give them a sort of abstract feel. I’ll list the alignments below, and then provide their flags in a Read More.
I want to also note that these can be used by any human or nonhuman, whether they have no gender or many genders. They also don’t have to be xenogender in order to identify with these.
Void-aligned – A formless, dark, and frigid alignment. May be unaligned or reject alignment altogether. Associated with black holes and deep space.
Constellation-aligned – A cold, multifaceted alignment that is complex and solid. May feel as though the individual parts of the alignment make up one larger alignment identity. Associated with starlight and astrology.
Nebula-aligned – A fluid, colorful, and bright alignment that floats slowly through the cold void of space. May often feel cloudy or intangible. Associated with the alignment of supernova and with stars.
Aurora-aligned – A fluctuating, colorful, and bright alignment that swirls through the temperate atmosphere. Associated with solar winds, magnetic fields, and planet Earth.
Stellar-aligned – A large, hot, and bright alignment with a fixed course through space. May be loud or boisterous. Associated with light and solar eclipses.
Supernova-aligned – A huge and red-hot alignment that seems to expand rapidly in all directions. May feel like it’s burning up other alignments around it. Associated with stars.
Planet-aligned – A stable, solid, and warm alignment thriving with liveliness. May align with both sunlight or darkness. Associated with weather patterns and gravitational forces.
Lunar-aligned – A quiet, slow, and cold alignment with a fixed course through space. May align with softness or grace. Associated with water and lunar eclipses.
Asteroid-aligned – An erratic and unpredictable alignment that is cold. May feel like it’s far away from other alignments.
Singularity-aligned – A small and enigmatic red-hot alignment that has the potential to be something bigger. May indicate questioning alignment rather than being sure.
Quantum-aligned – A paradoxical alignment that is both known and unknown, present and absent. May be complex or simple, and may overlap with many other alignments or none at all.
Language to use: “I am a cosmoic demiboy. My alignment is lunar. I am a lunar-aligned demiboy.”

Yea. Cheetahs, tigers, lions, and leopards were all living on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean within the political borders of modern-day Turkey and in the region around Gobekli Tepe, not just 12,000-ish years ago during the first architecture construction at the site, but also within the past 100 years. All of these cats coexisted in Mesopotamia, Persia, and Anatolia for essentially, all of human history. Both tigers and lions still lived in “Europe” on the northern shores of the Black Sea (in modern-day Ukraine) and in the Caucasus during the Middle Ages, with tigers still appearing near Crimea in the 1700s. Tigers still lived in Turkey in the 1970s. In Kurdish lands, near the eastern political borders of Turkey, all 4 big cats lived nearly alongside each other until the 20th century.
And yea, that wasn’t a great map of historic cheetah range (I’m really disappointed with bad/vague distribution maps), but there are other maps of historical big cat distribution that I could recommend.
From Gobekli Tepe:
Kinda looks like a big cat?
Cheetahs were apparently still living in the eastern Mediterranean, in the Sinai of Palestine, until at least 1945. They were still present in Mesopotamia until at least 1925, when the cats were reported south of Baghdad. They may have gone extinct within Turkish political borders in the 1800s, but this would’ve been difficult to confirm because of eastern Turkey’s mountainous terrain. (Cheetahs also survived in Afghanistan, Yemen, Oman into the 1970s.) Cheetahs in Anatolia ostensibly would’ve been the Asiatic subspecies, Acinonyx jubatus venaticus, which is the same subspecies currently living in Iran.
Tigers still lived in Kurdish lands and within Turkey’s borders into the 1970s. The Caspian tiger (Panthera tigris virgata). Tigers were living in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia until the 1940s, apparently. They were also reported living near Crimea, Sochi, and the shores of the Black Sea during the 1700s. This subspecies, the Caspian tiger, seemed to utilize the wooded vegetation of the riparian corridors along the Amu Darya and Syr Darya rivers, which provided suitable habitat and cover for the tigers to disperse across the great deserts of Central Asia between Lake Balkash and the Caspian. Relative to those deserts, the slopes of the Caucasus and the lush forests of Iranian shores of the Caspian (not too different from temperate rainforest) are much more vegetated. (There were 9 tiger subspecies living during recent centuries. Five are alive in the wild: Malayan, Bengal, Sumatran, Indochinese, and Siberian. One might be extinct in the wild: South China. Three are extinct: Bali, Javan, and Caspian.)
Leopards apparently still survive within Turkey’s borders, in Kurdistan. The subspecies is Panthera pardus saxicolor, the leopard of Anatolia, the Caucasus, and Persia. The same subspecies still lives nearby in Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, northern Iraq, and Persia.
Another leopard subspecies, Panthera pardus nimur, still lives in the Arabian peninsula and was historically present in Palestine, the Sinai, and the eastern Mediterranean shore close to Anatolia.
Lions apparently went extinct within Turkish borders in the late 1800s, but they were still recorded in nearby Mesopotamia until the First World War, when a lion was famously killed in Iraq in 1918. Lions were present in Persia until at least 1944, when a dead lion was found in Iranian Khuzestan. Lions were also present in Thessalonika and the Greek shores of the Aegean until at least 300 AD. (According to records from that time, an also according to archaeological dating of lion remains.) It’s likely that lions lived in Iberia (and Italy?) until 1500 BC or so. (Then again, maybe not surprising, since the cat is adaptable enough that lions also lived alongside humans in North America only a few thousand years ago, too. The lions in North America were even, possibly, the same species as the modern extant lion, Panthera leo atrox. But sometimes the American lion is designated as its own species, Panthera atrox.)

Even caracals mingled with the other cats in Anatolia:
The ancient Near East was a meeting place, and very biodiverse.
The “Fertile Crescent” really was fertile. Even Asian elephants (Elephas maximus) appear to have been present in Mesopotamia and near Kurdistan in ancient times.
Something I like to think about: Because of the habitat association of lions, how they’re always photographed against a landscape of intermittent woodland and grassland, I think it might be a little easier to picture lions living in Greece, Anatolia, and the Mediterranean shores of Europe in recent millennia because of the mild climate and how the chaparral ecology is not too unlike savanna or scrub. But to imagine lions and tigers and leopards living in the steppes of Ukraine, the snowy northern slopes of the Caucasus, and the shores of the Black Sea in recent centuries? Cool.
