An all-inclusive futch flag! No matter what, if you identify with “futch” you can use this. I modeled it after a horizon to match the all-inclusive butch/femme flags I did!
Nightgender flag for an alter of mine since we couldn’t find any.
Nightgender: Agender but in place of gender, you’re filled with darkness.
Originally it was going to be 12 stripes (after the 12 hours of night) but it ended up looking weird so I just changed it to six, the colors are based after the different colors of night.
I tried my hand at making a toric/NBLM flag redesign with more visually distinctive stripes. Like the original flag design(s), the purple and green stripes represent non-binary identities, while the light blue stripe represents attraction to men. I’ve included 4 versions of the flag: 3 with the interlocking male/non-binary symbols in different sizes, and one without the symbols entirely.
I’m still not sure if I’m 100% satisfied with the colors, so any feedback is appreciated!
i had such an amazing time making these flags and working with maverick! i adore the christmas season and decided to make some genders related to christmas items! from top left to bottom right, the flags are :
fruitcakegender : a gender related/pertaining to fruitcake! it can feel warm and sweet ; can hold/encompass other christmas related genders, similar to how a fruitcake holds the dried fruit in it! (next flag is just the gender without the fruitcake in the middle)
ribbonic : a gender relating to christmas ribbons and the wrapping of christmas gifts! can feel enveloping and comforting.
maglialeic : a gender relating to christmas sweaters! evokes the feeling of wearing a cozy and sweater and cuddling up with a nice cup of hot cocoa. (magli comes from the italian word for sweater ‘maglione’ and ale comes from the italian word for chirstmas ‘natale’!)
⊹ ⁺ terms coined + flags made by me! i’ll be reblogging this with a image description sometime soon.
I’ve been reading and watching videos about vexillology, and I’ve become a bit disenchanted with traditionally striped flags. They’re kinda boring. That’s why I made this one with circles and stripes that do not run parallel.
The color meanings carry over from the original: black, gray, and white all representing a disconnect from gender, and the green representing non-binary identities. (Green is opposite to blue/purple/red, colors well associated with binary gender.) The first flag has colors I find appealing, but the second flag is more conventional, regarding fabric and thread.
I do take requests for flags. Just send me an ask of what you want and I’ll make it as soon as possible. Criticism and questions welcome!
unfemgender: a nonbinary gender that is unfeminine in nature
unmascgender: a nonbinary gender that is unmasculine in nature
for anon! these terms are somewhat opposites of femgender and mascgender, and the flags use inverted colors from those flags and similar colors to my planetian and rigelian flags!
Doriangender: A gender tied to corruption and hedonism. It feels beautiful, yet bloody and dark. It feels like a reflection of the users mistakes, yet has a vague youth to it. It may be related to Gothic literature, or The Picture of Dorian Gray
Image ID: a five stripe pride flag. In descending order, they are light gray, gray, cream, dark gray, and red
Extranthrope: A nonhuman system member. Can be shortened to “extranth.” (Flag), (Coining post)
Voidpunk: A subculture for those who often feel rejected or
disconnected from humanity, such as aspecs,
neurodivergent people, nonbinary people, and others often rejected as
“subhuman” by society. (Creator), (Flag)

Virtuosum: An attraction for specifically art and artistic things. (Even art theory itself)
Crimasum: An attraction to the concept of Christmas, or “Christmas time”
[Image description: A 5 striped flag. The top and bottom stripe are a muted dark purple, the 2nd stripe is yellow, the middle stripe is blue, and the 4th stripe is pink. The 2nd and 4th stripes are thinner than the other stripes. End ID]
A simplified flag for the starbigender flag, originally made by @mogaifinity. The flag was designed to look similar to the original flag, but be a lot more easier to use in icons and similar. Feel free to use, no credit needed
Starbigender: A term for those who have certain gender(s) in this reality, and different one(s) in another reality or existance which they are also strongly connected to. Originally designed with people who have maladaptive daydreams in mind, but can be used by anyone who feels like it fits them
[Image description: A black banner with white text that reads: Do Not Interact: Anti-anti / pro shipper, transmed / truscum / terf/ gender critical, anti-MOGAI, anti endogenic systems, exclusionist, or allow any of these. End ID]

DNI if: anti-m*gai/tr*scum/excl*s/etc!!
flag without symbol:
:
dualgender: gender related to duality, parallels, and opposites. could also be used to describe when you have two genders that are opposites ☆ !
After tossing it around several times with some other OS people for the color balance and stuff, I finally settled on this!
I’m coining the term companium (or companis, the actual latin version of the word company, but keeping the -um suffix that’s common among OS archetypes) to refer to people who have a conceptum / objectum attraction to some sort of company, brand, store, or any other trademark. Grayscale tones are used commonly in logotypes, as well as the colors of yellow, red, blue, and green. The blue and yellow here are the IKEA colors, because why not, I’m coining this term I get to say how the flag looks. The factory symbol is the plain text unicode symbol for a factory (this may render as an emoji for some, or not show at all:
🏭), and it is green to represent the money these companies make.
Additionally, instead of the factory symbol, you can place the logo of the company you love, outlined in green (for contrast) in the center two stripes!
This flag does NOT symbolize a support of any sort for capitalism. It is merely a display of some form of objectum/conceptum love for a company of sorts. It does NOT automatically mean that a companium person supports capitalism. Please, I’m a communist I hate capitalism. But I’m still companium. For IKEA. And only IKEA lmao.
Please signal boost this so it gets on MOGAI pages!
I made a locusexual pride flag, for people who are attracted to geographical or geopolitical locations! Location itself stems from the Latin word “locus” so I have coined the term locusexual to refer to people who are attracted to geographical locations. I used to know someone who loved the city of Wilusa, and my best friend loves the city of Miami. One of my friends likes Norway, and I’m considering whether I have feelings for Sweden, and I was mildly attracted to the Atacama desert.
The colors on the flag are the most commonly found colors on all flags (with orange being the rarest of them). The red is Norway’s color. The blue and yellow are Sweden’s colors. Green is that of Brazil, and orange is that of India. White and black are pure white and black. The symbol is that of the United Nations, to symbolize the global nature of being attracted to locations around the world.
Panjectum : when your Objectum attraction encompnys all catagories regardless of the object!
[picture is a reverse pastel pan pride flag with a white heart in the center]
The colors of the flag are a slightly more pastel reverse pan pride flag to show a more tender love that comes with being Objectum and to show how we expirence attration in a different way! The white heart is meant to represent objects and love for all objects regardless of catagory!
I’m still not fully happy with this, but I’ve designed something of a vexillum flag. The reason why I’m being so picky about the Vexillum flag is because, well, it’s an attraction to flags so it makes sense that it has an attractive flag. The colors are very similar to the locusexual flag, in the sense that these are the most commonly found colors in the flags of the world. Vexillum can be attraction to any flag, though. Political, pride, nautical, or any other such pieces of fabric that represent, symbolically and abstractly, a concept.
One can be both locusexual and vexillum as a result of being attracted to the flag of their place of interest, such as my own attraction to the Swedish flag as a result of being attracted to Sweden, or my former attraction to the Soviet Union and communism making me attracted to the Soviet flag.
Blurgender and genderfuzz are two words for the same concept: when you have multiple genders that blur together to the extent that they are difficult to impossible to tell apart.
While considered a polygender identity, it sometimes makes sense to think of such a gender as a single gender made of two components. It’s generally phrased as a form of genderfluid wherein two (or more) genders are blurred together so while at any one time you may be experiencing one or another, it’s hard to tell which. You can hold this gender identity with almost any combination of others.
Aingender, often just Ain, is a subset/part of aporine genders, similar to aiaspec. However, aingender is primarily used for those who have defined atrinary genders, and are aporine in nature or features.
A- (without), binary. Sometimes an umbrella term for agender/nonbinary identities, but can be a gender in and of itself. See also agender, neutrois, and nonbinary. This gender has absolutely no connection to traditional masculinity or femininity, but still has a strong presence.
Estrialgender individuals do not identify with any human gender binary due to being extraterrestrial. Mostly used for alienkin and/or in conjunction with an alien gender.
Faesari is similar to demigirl in that it is a neutral gender tied to femininity, but differs in that it is not tied to womanhood or being a woman, only femininity as a concept. The masculine version is cenrell. The name comes from the Mass Effect Asari. Similar to juxera and fegender.
Femache people experience both male- and female-ness at the same time. It is different from androgyne as the masculinity and femininity is not connected but almost overlaid with each other, similar to bigender. It is nonbinary.
Femil is for women and girls who have no connection to femininity, instead preferring masculinity. It can be used in the context of butches and he-him lesbians, but is not exclusive to them.
Femproche is a gender in which one externally expresses in a feminine way, despite not having a feminine gender. Similar to juxera. Femproche is all about presenting femininely, one can have any gender and be femproche as long as they present in a more femme-aligned way.
Umbrella term for those on the agender spectrum. Includes agender, libragenders, gendervoid, singularian, and agiagender, among others. Contains an essence of genderlessness, and genderless genders. Being on the agiaspectrum is known as agiaty.
Also on the agender spectrum, agingender is a umbrella term for genderlessness, similarly to agiaspec. However, this is often used as a gender or label for those who do not feel fully agender, but are somewhere close to that. Often shortened to Agin.
A umbrella term for aporine-aligned genders. Includes but is not limited to aporagender, maverique, ilyagender, péra, and aiagender. Similar to aingender but not the same in that aiaspec can be used for partially aporine genders, or genders related to aporinity, but are not fully aporine or aporine-aligned.

Coined in 2019.
:
Tartagliangender: a gender related to childe/tartaglia from genshin impact; or a gender related to water, strength, family, loyalty, chaos, and fighting. can be used as a kingender but doesn’t have to be ☆ !
All-inclusive butch and femme flags! No matter what, if you identify with the label “butch” or “femme”, you’re welcome to use these! They’re based off of the sky and the sea, specifically sunsets and seashores.
I will be accepting these as requests. Please clarify what source they are from and what color you want your characters to associate with. I will be editing my simplified versions, but if you want I will make it in the original format.
This is 4 people who’s gender is closely attached to Ghosts or specters. For some it may mean your gender is faint, for others it may mean you feel mischievous and playful.
Anyone can use or interpret it as u want Idm unless you’re a truscum or exclus or anything mean
From what I’ve seen from their community, alloaros have similar experiences to straight trans people within the LGBTQ+ and aspec communities.
While alloaros aren’t oppressed for being allo, they don’t have access to privilege for it either, and are treated very differently for their allosexuality than alloros would be. Therefore, it’s entirely reasonable for alloaros to take pride in their allosexuality!
As a straight trans person, I’m constantly surrounded by jokes targeting straight people in the LGBTQ+ community that make me feel like my straightness should be less important to me, but the fact is, cishets don’t consider me straight. I have every right to be proud of it and talk about being straight. I imagine alloaros feel much the same way.
What I’m trying to say is: alloaro/transhet solidarity.
tabbybeegender: a gender that feels cuddly, friendly, and like it warms up to you over time, and/or a gender related to tabby bee from bee swarm simulator
The vastness of nonbinary and xenogenders like the empty sky
The ephemeral nature of gender like if you cup water from a stream
The comfort of practical clothing and presentation like clothes you’d wear to look for toads in the woods
Slight sense of loss at how disability has left me unable to articulate gender in a “normal” way but also joy at how I can now explore and collect more specific and vivid terms. Like the melancholy of autumn
(Yes this is the second gender I’ve coined this week)
hello! hows this?
op asked for a pastel version and this is the best i could do
Gendercodex (or codegender) is a gender where the gendercodex person perceives and/or processes their gender like computer code! Like computer code, other identities can be either added to it or subtracted from it (note: gendercodex is not a gender-hoarding gender).
The term was originally meant for techkin individuals, but can be used by anyone who identifies with it!
This term was coined by @autistic-malfoy, I just made the flag! (If I got anything wrong in the description or you don’t like the flag, feel free to send me any suggestions! I can always edit the post)
The colours for this flag were requested from the coiner, so the colour meanings are up for each individuals interpretation! I also added some binary on top to really emphasise the coding part, and to differentiate the flag from the bxy/xoy/agender boy/boyflux flags a bit.
I made a flag for specugender (genderfluid identity that depends on gender presentation at any point in time)
It’s like the genderfluid flag, only the black and white parts are replaced with blues to symbolize a mirror, and three stripes in various shades of blue are added that are supposed to mimic a mirror.
Genderneutron is an aesthetigender related to neutron stars, black holes, and just the general limitless void of space. Genderneutron people may feel as if their gender is infinite, undefined, and/or closely tied to the mysteries and grand-ness of space.
Requested by @corvid-skulls! (Feel free to send in a message if you have any more requests or any improvements to add to this one!)
The flag uses colours typically associated with space, and has stars in the background. The big black circle in the middle represents both black holes and the neverending quality of space.
I’m coining a new term for techkins/computer-related gendered folks!
GenderCodex / Codegender.
Its one based how you percieve or process your gender like a computer coding, and just like Code it can other identities added on and taken away endlessly but it isn’t a gender-hoarding Gender.
It’s originally for Techkin/Glitchkin/Computerkin/etc community but it’s strictly just for them.
definition: similar to the tides of an ocean, tidalgender is a gender that rises and falls in intensity every few hours, days, weeks, months, or even years
the lower levels of tidalgender are called “low (gender)” while the higher levels are called “high (gender)”, so for example you could say you feel like you’re high stargender, or low demiboy, or even high genderflux and low genderfluid simultaneously
definition: gender that is mostly agender, but has a strong connection to a different gender; a scale, where one side is agender and one side is male/female. The agender outweighs the male/female, but male/female is still there
Great question! “Alloaro” and “alloro” are two different labels.
“Alloaro” is short for “allosexual aromantic”, which refers to someone who experiences sexual attraction but doesn’t experience romantic attraction. It’s sometimes written “allo-aro”, “aroallo”, and maybe even “aro-allo”, but “alloaro” is (I think) the most common way it’s written. The alternate ways of writing it can be a matter of personal preference, to make it easier to read, or to make it less likely to be confused with “alloro”, since “alloaro” and “alloro” differ by a single letter.
“Alloro” is short for alloromantic, which refers to someone who experiences romantic attraction.
Hope that helps, as always feel free to ask for clarification/any follow up questions.
[ID: playing cards with aspec flags over them. Over the spade is the aroace flag, over the heart is the alloace flag. Over the diamond is the demisexual flag, and over the club is the quoisexual flag.]
Time for another uribr but with terms this time because I’m tired of seeing them be misused!!
Also we’ve gained,,, about a hundred people since the last one so!! Uribr stands for underrepresented identities being represented and I’ve done a ton of them!! (You can always send an ask for an identity to be in one but I can’t promise I will do it immediately) Each of them is in the uribr tag on my blog!
So!! Let’s just,,, get into it?

Romance favorable/indifferent/repulsed and sex favorable/indifferent/repulsed are terms used by people to describe their feelings on romance or sex. There are also other terms like romance/sex complicated or tired.
These defining terms can be used by anyone, though they are mostly used by aros and aces.
Romance/Sex Favorable: Enjoying romance/sex for themselves and/or in media.
Romance/Sex Indifferent: Not caring about/not bothered by romance/sex for themselves and/or in media.
Romance/Sex Repulsed: Being repulsed by romance/sex for themselves and/or in media.
Romance/Sex Complicated: Fluctuate between being romance/sex repulsed/indifferent/favorable and/or experiences multiple of these simultaneously.
Romance/Sex Tired: Feelings on romance/sex fluctuate depending on how much you have been exposed to.
Sometimes these feelings can coexist. Someone might enjoy romance in media, but be repulsed for themselves, and usually that’s where the term romance complicated comes in if the person decides to label their feelings on romance.
Not everyone does this, though. Some people just don’t label their feelings on romance/sex, and that is completely valid.
Sometimes, I see people using the terms sex/romance positive, negative, or neutral. Even I used these terms instead of the ones above before I knew what they meant. But these are not used by the majority of the aro/ace community (to describe their feelings on romantic attraction) because they are actually political standpoints.
(These definitions are just going to be pulled straight from Google)
Sex Positive: Having or promoting an open, tolerant, or progressive attitude towards sex and sexuality.
Sex Negative: Sex negativity refers to a mind-set that sex is inherently dirty, dangerous, risky, pathological or deviant.
Sex Neutral: Not differentiated on the basis of sex.
So in more simple terms sex negative people are against any sex that is not heterosexual or “vanilla.” They could also be against porn workers, strippers, etc.
Romance positive/negative/neutral aren’t political terms, but they are rarely used over the terms favorable/neutral/repulsed because of the connotation with the sex political standpoints.
It’s okay if you misused these terms in the past, but now you’re informed on what they actually mean! Please never fully assume that a person is using the sex positive/negative/neutral terms politically until you ask, because some people still might not know that they are actually political standpoints!
I hope that this helped, and if you want me to do any uribr’s on a specific identity or term then just send me an ask and I’ll do it!
friendly reminder that anyone on the ace spectrum can use the ace flag of that’s the one you prefer. you aren’t required to use the flag specific to your label if you don’t want to.
friendly reminder that anyone on the aro spectrum can use the aro flag of that’s the one you prefer. you aren’t required to use the flag specific to your label if you don’t want to.
friendly reminder that anyone on the aroace spectrums can use the aroace flag of that’s the one you prefer. you aren’t required to use the flags specific to your labels if you don’t want to.
if you’re grayromantic but want to use the common aro flag? go for it. if you’re cupiosexual but want to use the common ace flag? do it. if you’re demiromantic abrosexual but want to use the orange-blue aroace flag? that’s your decision. these flags exist for the entire community to use if they wish. you are just as aspec as anyone else on the spectrum.
a musicagender that’s related/connected to or can only be described by the artist jazmin bean. can be related to their songs, aesthetic etc, and can be made into subgenders of their songs, such as princesscastlegender, worldwidetorturegender, superslaughtergender, etc.
definition: an orientation that seems to revolve around one person in particular
OR
an exception to one’s orientation, ie, someone who identifies as homosexual/homoromantic feeling attraction to someone of a different gender. in that case, it would be borearomantic/sexual towards someone.
comes from the latin root borea meaning north.
coined by: anonymous
That sounds like a pretty word.
reminder that if you say bi means all, not only you’re basically propagating exorsexism/binarism but also invalidating other bi identity narratives and erasing other bisexuals’ experiences with supremacism/elitism, ignoring polysemy. therefore, battle-axe bis are inhrently biphobic for dictating others’ bisexualities with redefining/resignifying limitations.
a gender relating to rock + roll by EDEN (a rock + roll musicagender). it’s related to the idea of doing things that make you happy (especially with your gender, pronouns, and presentation) because things are impermanent.
from the norwegian word for roll. requested by anon!
:
requested thundercats themed catgender flag;
this is based of off the new reboot, but if anyone would like one off of the original series lemme know!
Brassgender – a gender for robots, automatons, and generally anyone else feeling like their gender is whatever the heck those steampunk bands have going on!
As a nonhuman alter and nonbinary person, this is just absolute vibes for me, and I honestly can’t believe no one’s coined it yet! The colors come from one of my favorite art palettes – “Journey” by mistressmaxwell! They give off a nice brassy vibe and just seem to fit really well with this!
remissious : gender that feels soft, oversized, cozy and warm. it can be also filled with mysteries, items and even other gender labels.
(pronounced rem-is-e-us, bu said quite fast)
⊹ ⁺ term coined for anon + flag made by me!
— remiss comes from the latin word ‘remisse’, which means soft! ious is an english suffix that means ‘having the qualities of, full of’
ID : four flags, all horizontal with five colors. the flags on the left have a lacey edge design to the stripes, making them look a bit like frills. all flags have these colors in this order, top to bottom : beige, periwinkle, powder pink, cream, and dusty rose!
placturic : an attraction label for people who desire a platonic relationship with their crush, no matter what type of attraction they feel towards said person.
(pronounced pla-to-rick)
⊹ ⁺ term coined for anon + flag made by me!
in order, we have the basic placturic flag (blue-green stripe, romantic attraction platuric flag (pink stripe), sexual attraction platuric flag (purple stripe), and queer platonic platuric flag (yellow stripe)! anyone can feel free to make other types of attraction variants! anon asked for parental as well but i’m personally really uncomfortable with parental friendships so i’d be awesome if someone else wanted to do that or any other types of attraction! i’m sorry to the anon that i couldn’t do it 😦
— pla comes from the latin word ‘platonicum’ meaning platonic, and ctur comes from the latin word ‘iunctura’ meaning relationship! ic is a english suffix that means ‘relating to, characterized by’ !
ID : four six striped horizontal flags ; the top left flag is the original flag, and has colors in this order, top to bottom : muted lime green, lime green, white, blue-green, mint, and teal. on the top right flag, the blue-green stripe is replaced with a pink stripe. on the bottom left flag, the blue-green stripe is replaced with a purple stripe. on the bottom right flag, the blue-green stripe is replaced with a yellow stripe.
Genderwarp – You’ve got all of time and space to figure out your gender, do you really think time and space can’t be your gender?
This one’s for the people whose gender just really vibes with sci fi! No particular piece of media or sci fi concept, just the genre as a whole! Once again, flag colors are from a palette I have saved that really vibed with this gender, this time from a palette meme by zoestanleyarts!
chromarian: a xenic alignment to color(s). can be used like tealian, purplian, creamian, etc
reddian: a xenic alignment to the color red
orangian: a xenic alignment to the color orange
yellowian: a xenic alignment to the color yellow
greenian: a xenic alignment to the color green
bluian: a xenic alignment to the color blue
purplian: a xenic alignment to the color purple
definition of chromarian from here, and the other definitions are derived from it! i wanted the flags to look like paint or makeup palettes to showcase different shades of one color in a unique way.
i’m happy to make flags for more specific colors – tealian, pinkian, creamian, etc. i may make some for myself and post them soon, so if there’s any colors you’d like to see, lmk!

Nonbinary Recolor
Transgender Recolor
Edit: I got a request for neurodivergent designs, so here they are!
Neurodivergent Symbol
Neurodivergent Recolor I couldn’t find a good way to fit the neurodivergent pride flag, so the recolor just uses the neurodivergent color scheme from wikipedia.
◆a dark, cold xenogender associated with darkness, stagnation/decline, with a profoundly melancholic energy.
**Melagender may also be expressed as an aesthetigender, and isnt linked to depression/depression related illness, though melagender/melanic people may also have depression
◆ suggested pronouns include sad/sads, dark/darks or melan/melans
➷ diamond represents vastness of sadness, holes and empty, stagnant energy.
Trickstermodic: a gender related to Trickster Mode from Homestuck. It may feel hyper, sugary, bright, and a bit obsessive.
ID: Two 11-stripe flags side by side. They are identical, except the one on the right has a red and green lollipop graphic on it. In order, the stripes are red, pink, magenta, lavender, periwinkle, white, blue, teal, green, yellow, and orange.
The terms and flag were made by me! I color-picked the colors from pictures of the trickster alpha kids, and adjusted them to make them a little less eyestrain-y!
friendly reminder that alloaros are important members of the aspec community and we deserve to have our voices heard.
alloaros exist | alloaros matter | alloaros belong alloaros are valuable | alloaros are not an afterthought | alloaros deserve respect alloaros are valid | alloaros are aspec | alloaros are queer
From English, an abbreviation of “Boy”, “Girl”, “Neutral” and “Other”, which is frequently represented by an “X”. It appears that this term was coined by LGBTA Wikia user shinsouboi in an early version of the article Afluaflugender in 2020.
Flag
Prior to this post, there was no known flag for the term binx. As a result, I createdone to represent the concept. The term breaks sex into a gender quaternary system representing the traditional binary, a neuter/genderless/androgyne/epicene sort of “third sex” and an unspecific, abinary fourth designation existing beyond the aforementioned pre-established gender trinary.
To keep the flag simple, I assigned a stripe to each letter of the term binx and add a central, white stripe. There are five, horizontal stripes from top to bottom, all of the same size. They are:
The blue stripe represents maleness.
The pink stripe represents femaleness.
The white stripe represents inclusivity.
The forest green stripe represents gender-neutrality and it’s related concepts.
The lime-green stripe represents gender beyond the pre-established gender trinary.
coining some posts !!! these arent genders but . i wanted to coin one for myself so i made a few more
androsumic: when you are not male, or otherwise masculine, but would rather be assumed to be a male at first before someone knows your real gender or alignment.

alignment.
neusumic:

assumed to be gender neutral at first before someone knows your real gender or
alignment.
genderponyo : a gender that relates to the character ponyo from the movie ponyo! ; a gender that longs to be human.

termcollector, also called termhoarder, ravencollector, collectorraven, ravenhoarder, or hoarderraven, describes a person who uses multiple labels to describe their gender and orientation, and uses multiple pronoun sets, “hoarding” or “collecting” labels and pronouns that fit them. this identity can be described as a combination of genderhoarder, kiwihoarder and turkeyhoarder, but it is not exclusive. anyone who has multiple labels to describe their gender and orientations, and goes by multiple pronoun sets, can use this term.
•
the term was coined by me on august 22, 2020.
•
here is a link to the lgbta wikia which is where i originally posted this!!
•
below are the two main flags people use (i made them both)!!
Idemiromantic: A mixed term for somebody who is both Idemromantic and Demiromantic. This is a micro-label falling under the Aro-Spec and Quoiromantic/WTF romantic labels. This label is a modifier for other labels, such as Idemihomoromantic, Idemiheteroromantic, Idemibiromantic, etc. This term is used to shorten Idem-Romantic and Demi-Romantic so that it’s a tad bit less of a mouthful to describe identities like “Demi-Idem-Heteroromantic”
Idemromantic: Idemromantics find that there is very little to no internal difference between romantic and platonic feelings, but are able to tell the difference via external factors (Age, emotional closeness, presence of sexual attraction, etc.). Idemromantics will often find their feelings towards their romantic partner as similar to that of a very close friend. Idemromantic is used as a modifier for other attractions, such as Idemhomoromanic, or idemheteroromantic. This is a micro-label that falls under Aro-spec and
Quoiromantic
(AKA WTFRomantic).
Demiromantic: Demiromantic is an identity on the Aro-spec where one does not develop romantic attachments until a signfigant emotional bond is formed. Demiromantic can be used on it’s own or combined with other orientations, such as Demi-Homoromantic, Demi-Heteroromantic, Demi-Biromantic, etc.
