I really love the term gender ambiguous and I’m surprised it isn’t really used so I took matters into my own hands. I might change the colors later but at the moment I like how it looks. This one, ardegender, is a little different. When you are ardegender, you feel connected to the high energy of fire and feel your identity that way, but it isn’t flickering or hard to pinpoint. Amatopunk as an idea challenges amatonormantivity, and how society views aspec people, polyamorous people, and others who do not fit into the “right” mold. Explaining ideogenders

Ideo- in ideobinary represents “those who relate to having an experience that does rely on [X] or [X]-related concepts, while not relating to an experience that is similar to that of a [X] gender”. Gender qualifiers, usually ending in -ine, mean “having qualities or an appearance associated with [X]”.

Ideogender identifiers therefore reference or allude viagenders, without necessarily being viaspec. The first and most known modifiers are FMN (fingender, mingender, ningender), coined by @pastelroswell (FM orientations coined by @pleurocarpous/deactivated). (Mid)bingender encompass (mid)binary natures.

Ideo- and via- mainly focus on the difference between masculine/feminine vs male/female genders. But there’s niaspec/niagender, what could distinguish it from ninspec? Would it be like epin/epia (epicene)? Viagenders aren’t essentially tied to midbinary archetypes. Fiaspec/miaspec were coined before maingender and feingender, are they the same? Fia/mia at least use inclusion of wif-/wer-genders.

Neutrois isn’t always a neutral gender, not all neutraline genders are neutrois, and not all xenines are xenoic. Neutrine/neutrinity (neutralinity/neutrous) and androgynine/gynandrine/angine/anginity (gynandrinity/androgininity/androgynity) can be gender qualities, going with outherine, aporine/aporous, agenine and xenine/xenous.

Sometimes, they interchangeably overlap each other. So this post is up for discussions.

Vinogender is a genderfluid identity which could be likened to a grape vine, because it is twisty and pointed. Similarly to aerogender, it changes based on the activity one is performing at the time. For example, playing a board game might make one feel masculine, or drinking tea may make one feel demigirl.

Pera – a gender that is not at all a part of, or related to, the gender trinary of male/female/none (or neutral)

Pearlian – a non-binary man and woman attracted to nonbinary people, men and women (nblnb, nblw, nblm, wlnb, wlw, wlm, mlnb, mlm and mlw).

For this flag, I took two different versions of the pearlian flag and combined them with the pastelized version of the pera flag (then tweaked the colors a bit), technically making it a combo flag. I hope that’s OK!

They can experience the xia/nia/liaspec-ness in any configuration, including but not limited to: being all three at once, being static in one or two but the others are fluid or flux, or being fluid between all alignments.

It’s the combination of censari, xenrell and faexari. The coiner of the xenoic version of faesari and cenrell used viaspec (viagender spectral) terms instead of ideospec (ideogender spectrum), her explanations used finspec/minspec terms instead of fiaspec/miaspec, other times using them interchangeably. So xenxari can be linspec/xinspec too.

Uranian: a comprehensive term for LGBT+/queer people used in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. An English translation of the German word Urning. It’s often conceptualized as the “homosexual gender”, a “third gender” and a descriptor for gay men (urningthum) and lesbians (uraningin/uranierin/urnin/urnigin), as opposed to dionian (dioning), meaning “heterosexual gender”, feminine/straight woman (dioningin) and masculine/straight man (dioningthum), stemming from the idea common in early sexology that a gay man has a partly female psyche, and a lesbian has a partially male soul.

Uranismus (uranism) has a taxonomy with: uranodioning (uranodionian), representing bisexuals, uranodioningin (bi women) and uranodioningthum (bi men); zwitter, intersex people; and others, making categories encompassing modern concepts of cross-orientation/parosexuality (conjunctive/disjunctive) and non-binarity/intermediate (zwischen).

These are genders based off of specific experiences that systems might have with their gender identity due to being a system, similar to systemgender and systemfluid. They can either be used to describe how system origin affects someone’s gender identity(s), or it can be used to describe that system origin itself feels as though it’s their gender or a part of their gender!

On the left side, the flags have the plural spiral, while on the right they’re removed. Anyone can add onto these, make their own for different origins, make their own for system types (ex: gateway, aquatien, etc.) or edit these! I would appreciate credit but it’s not mandatory.

  • exgender/egender: agender is like saying e) none of the above for gender, but exgender/egender is like refusing to answer the question, crossing out the words, or eating the paper the question is written on. exgender/egender is an outright refusal to accept or identify in, on, or around the current gender hierarchy.
  • xenogender: a gender that cannot be contained by human understandings of gender; more concerned with crafting other methods of gender categorization and hierarchy such as those relating to animals, plants, or other creatures/things
  • micro- and macrogender: small and large feelings of gender that are not identifiable within social gender categories.
  • resgender: a gender that can be summed up as an unidentifiable, nondescript thing but manifests in hundreds of different genders that could be recognized and function as “girl” and /or”boy” but is entirely dependent on the context; based on the latin word “res”)
  • ungender: not without but a negative; an unboy would be the negative of a boy and an ungirl would be the negative of a girl

  • pre- and postgender: before and after a gender; preboy would be moving to identify as a boy but has yet to fully embrace the term and pregirl would be moving to identify as a girl but has yet to fully embrace the term; postboy would have moved on from identifying as a boy but still has gendered ties to identifying as a boy and postgirl would have moved on from identifying as a girl but still has gendered ties to identifying as a girl
  • necrogender: a gender that used to exist but is now dead
