I really love the POC inclusive Philadelphia pride flag, so i decided to make some other flags that recognize QPOC! The flags in order are the queer pride flag, lesbian flag, trans flag, and nonbinary flag.
Revisions and alternate designs are highly encouraged! If you’d like to use these, credit is nice but I won’t make it necessary!

(I realized that since I didn’t make a bi one but the LGT flags have been spoken for it might come off as biphobia, so I should clarify that I’m not intending to exclude bi people I just don’t have a good concept or enough energy to make one rn but maybe in the future!)
Gaybie/gayby or Epigay/Enbigay: non-binary gay, epigendergay &/or epigaygender. Also gay enboys/guybies/menbies/dudenbies.
Gaygay Flag
Gaygay (gaygendergay): a gay orientationgendergay; a gayness that is linked to your gay gender; or when your (gender)gayhood is so intrinsically tied to your gaygender that you absolutely cannot separate the two.
Gayqueer Flag
Gayqueer (gaygenderqueer): gay orientationgenderqueer; when your gayness is so intrinsically tied to your genderqueerness that you absolutely cannot separate the two.
Nomingender: umbrella term for all genders that are not masculine in nature. Also refers to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely unmasculine, or a gender in which unmasculinity is its defining feature.
Nofingender: umbrella term for all genders that are not feminine in nature. Also a term to refer to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely unfeminine, or a gender in which unfemininity is its defining feature.
Noningender: umbrella term for all genders that are not neutral in nature. Also a term referring to a gender that isn’t fully defined but definitely unneutral, or a gender in which unneutrality is its defining feature.
Since it comes to gender qualifiers, nongenders, ungenders, a-genders and antigenders might also describe these terms (such as antiningender, nonfingender, amingender & unfingender). Based on nofin-/nonin-/nomin- orientations, there are some mentions of them somewhere, not sure if someone officially signified these as coinages yet. Using «eugender» flags’ opposite colors.
A gender in which an individual may identify as if they feel no particular connection with any gender/identify, or Agender, as well as fluctuating between having masculine and/or feminine gender identity.
I modeled it after the genderflux flag but removed the yellow stripe and turned the saturation way down, as a symbolic move towards the agender aspect of agenderflux. I also made the white stripe in the middle larger which to me helps signify that while I do fluctuate, I’m mostly agender.
“Ano/ana” meaning “up, back, again, anew”; a feeling of gender that fades in and out but feels the same whenever it comes back. Different from genderfluid in that it’s one gender constantly resurfacing, rather than switching between genders May be used on its own, or as a prefix to modify another gender.
[image description: a flag with seven vertical stripes. from left to right they are: green, green-grey, grey-green, grey, grey-green, green-grey, green]
Sandwichgender – For when your gender feels layered and sandwiched between your race/ethnicity. Contents of sandwich can be flipped and exchanged depending on the intensity your identity.
Flag Meanings: Red represents femininity, Green represents Masculinity, and Yellow is for NB/Non-Conforming. The ‘bread’ of the Sandwich Flag can be changed to represent people of color. Smaller lines can be inserted between the bigger lines to represent flux-genders and spectrums, clarifying how intense the feeling of the identity is, and are coined as condiments within this specific gender.
Possible Pronouns:
– Brea/Bread/Breads – Crus/Crust/Crusts
This is an all inclusive gender, and anyone can identify with it.
THIS IS A SERIOUS POST!!!! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A JOKE!!!

Enbyromantic: feeling romantic attraction to non-binary people.
Interchangeable with enbiromantic/enbromantic/enromantic, epiromantic and nbromantic. See also: ceterororomantic/skolioromantic/ceteromantic & enboric.
A gender that is unpredictable to the person experiencing it (possibly because of its fluidity or fluctuation), and makes no sense to them as a result.
Here’s a potential flag!
The purple and blue represent different poles of gender expression, the jagged yellow line represents the unpredictable link between them, and the orange represents the confusion that results from the fluctuation!
-Admin Spooky
I love it!
Tbh, I wanted a different flag for chaosgender since the originals are kind of… eh. This is perfect!
Transandrogyny (trandrogyny/transdrogyny): a term used to describe transgender people identifying with androgyny to a greater extent than masculinity or femininity.
Transandrogynous/trandrogynous is an alternative to transleptive (transneutral, transnegative, transpositve), transfeminine and transmasculine. Designed by @decaykid.
like the demi flag pisses me off. i have my own personal feelings on the term but the flag is just. it puts a black triangle on it without any thought to be quirky
ive tried to look into meanings of the black triangle on it and have gotten nothing. the most i could figure out was someone took the design of the asexual flag and then just slapped on the triangle to make it look different
not only is that. rly lazy imo. but is just bad design choice. especially if its meant to be a pride flag. heres what a black triangle means in the lgbt community
you. cannot. slap on a black triangle. on a random ass pride flag. unless it is something reclaimed by lesbians
lesbians suffered from the use of this symbol. been tortured and harmed by being marked by a black triangle. not demisexuals or demiromantics. lesbians
so like. please learn your symbol history before putting random ass symbols on a flag. im not trying to limit creativity, im trying to help people realize that a LOT of things need to be more delicately handled when it comes to the creation of a pride flag. be careful of symbols that harbor a deeper meaning. i.e: black and pink triangles
(please do not dissolve this into ace discourse. this is NOT what its about. i dont care about either side of the argument, this is still a pride flag being used with ignorance and insensitivity)
(another note: others have suffered the use of the black triangle symbol. but, this is more about the lgbt side when it comes to pride flag creation)
Hi! As a Jewish lesbian, this is all correct.
The fact that their flag is still being used and they don’t seem to really give a single shit about stealing symbols used to oppress us is super gross and shows that yeah, you guys fucking straight up hate lesbians and Jews.
For the love of fuck, reblog this. It’d be nice to have others care about lesbians and Jewish issues other than, ya know, lesbians and Jewish people. Support us.
We just need to redesign the demi flag, y’all. It’s a simple solution to this.
I’m fairly sure this is a redesign of the demi flag that I had saved to my computer, but I can’t figure out who designed it or where it’s from
Neusarian/Neusorian or Solarian Neumasc (neutral + masculine): solar neuter nonbinary people; experiencing masculinity irrespective of neugender identity (masc as it exists outside of genderedness) while being neuman-aligned or neutromasculine-aligned, your experiences & understanding of your own MIN/NIN alignment (mascugender/masculigender/neutrois) are shared with or mirror those who would define themselves as mascuneutral/mascneutral.
There are a lot of terms on the Celestial Gender Spectrum & plenty of flags to accompany, so I decided to compile a list of all the celestial terms I know of & all the respective flags I’ve been able to find. If you notice a term/flag is missing, a definition is wrong, or some other error with the post, please let me know and I’ll correct it ASAP.
•
Juparian (1) – A nonbinary gender that is linked to softer celestial masculine energy. It is never hyper masculine and it’s not male-aligned nonbinary, but instead is simply linked. Someone who is juparian can feel different amounts of masculine energy at different times.
Juparian (2)
Lunettian (1) – A nonbinary gender that is linked to softer celestial feminine energy. It is never hyper feminine and it’s not female-aligned nonbinary, but instead is simply linked. Someone who is lunettian can feel different amounts of feminine energy at different times.
Lunettian (2)
Mercurian (1) – A nonbinary gender that is connected to a softer celestial energy. This energy can feel “gendered”, but is neither masculine or feminine. Someone who is Mercurian can also be “void” of gender itself.
Mercurian (2)
Saturnian / Saturnarian (1) – A nonbinary gender that is linked to both softer celestial masculine and feminine energy. Like the others it is not masculine/feminine aligned, simply linked. And the amount of energy one feels can vary and change.
Saturnian / Saturnarian (2)
Neptunian (1) – A nonbinary gender that is linked to the void and fluctuates with softer celestial masculine energy.
Neptunian (2)
Venusian (1) – A nonbinary gender that is linked to the void and fluctuates with softer celestial feminine energy.
Venusian (2)
Celestarian (1) – A gender that is a combination of juparian, lunettian, and mercurian. Someone who is celestarian can be fluid between all three/feel different amounts of each at different times.
Celestarian (2)
Merlunettian – Someone who is both and/or between lunettian and mercurian.
Merjuparian – Someone who is both and/or fluid between juparian and mercurian.
Juparettian – Someone who is both and/or fluid between juparian and lunettian.
Kuiperian – A gender that is fluid between multiple soft celestial energies.
NOTE: The following terms were all coined by @/system-lgbt without the permission of Juparian (the original terms’ author), so none of these are “official” extensions of this spectrum. I think it’s OK to use any of these labels, just know that there’s a tad bit of controversy behind them.
•
Plutoian / Plutian – A gender that is filled with the energy of the void. Someone who is Plutoian can also be “void” of gender itself, or uncertain of their celestial energy. It’s also for those who have no celestial energy, or whose celestial energy is like that of a black hole or a gap, the absence of all, but still having celestial energy.
Ceresian – A gender that is both plutoian and lunettian.
Sonnian / Sonnean – A gender that is both juparian and plutoian.
Ouranian – A gender that is both plutoian and mercurian.
Terraean / Terrean / Terran – A gender that is juparian, lunettian and plutoian.
Marsean – A gender that is juparian, mercurian and plutoian.
Erisian – A gender that is lunettian, mercurian and plutoian.
Asteroidian / Asterian – A gender that is lunettian, mercurian, juparian and plutoian.
Apothigenitality: describing repulsion by having any genitalia. Could be also an angenital/sexless subtype.
Aphothitesticular (apothipenile/apothipenial, apothiphallic/apothipriapic, apothiscrotal), apothivulvalic (apothivulvar(ian), apothivaginal) and apothigonadal could be forms of apothigenitalias/apothisexes.
Note that apothisex denotes intrapersonal sex repulsion, not essentially sex dysphoria or sexual aversion.
Demia-/Demiaspec: combination of demi- and omnia-/pana-. Demianattraction can be found inbetween a suptilic/darkened gray-area of nullitive/analigned (leaning anattractional) demiattraction/demiorientation and a pale/greyed black area of amplusic/amative omnianattraction/pananattraction.
How’s this one, anon? The dark green represents masculinity, the light green represents soft masculinity, the white represents neutral expression, the soft orange represents soft femininity, and the dark orange represents femininity. The light pink in the circle represents your body, and the rainbow arrows represents the shift in sexuality based on kintype.
Gendermoth A soft and unique gender. It can feel dainty, mighty, majestic or a mix of positive feelings unique to the person identifying as such. A kingender/Xenogender related to Moths but not exclusive to Mothkin.
Credogender: a gender you constantly question the label of but exists and you can still understand it but can’t quite find the words for (may or may not expirence fluidity/fluctuation)
Decredogender: a gender influenced by trauma from gaslighting that makes you constantly question it but it still exists
Khaosgender: a gender relating to mayhem and disorientation. Can be erratic and confusing. May effect your personality, behaviors, and/or moods. Seemingly spontaneous, fast and flashy.
Khaossexual/romantic/etc: an attraction in which is disorganized and messy. Can cause confusion about other labels. There may be spikes in attraction and constant change attraction.
Multigreysexual/romantic/etc. : An attraction where one strongly feels attraction to one gender/sex but rarely or weakly feeling attraction to other genders/sexes
I’m bad at combos so I combined the stripes into one flag. Based on genderfluid nonbinary flag. I know there are some genderfluid+agender graphics with shaped hearted by @queerlection but mixed with other identities.
Panantagender, Apanantigender or Antipangender-X (agender panantigender): an agender identity opposed to all genders (simultaneously or not); someone who has all accesible antigenders & agenders; negative-pangender individuals positively or neutrally agendered (pannegatrois apositrois/aneutrois).
Similar to ungender, interchangeable with omniantagender/omnantagender and antiomnigender-x.
Queerixhood: an umbrella term and also an identifier for queer, genderqueer, gender/queer-aligned, (gender)queer-passing, (gender)queer-expressive, genderqueer-presenting, queerian/qlq, queeroriented/queerattracted, queeraffectional and any other queer-related experience.
Not to be confused with queeritic (which is also encompassed within queericity). Similar to variance.
Antigender means opposite gender. Many people assume male and female are opposite genders of each other, there’s a discussion about it. For the binary hegemony, antigirls are just boys and antiboys are just girls, but had they think about girlboys and antiboygirls?
Many enbies and pluralians don’t consider binary genders as opposed of each other, but some of them do. Let’s forget and think about abinary spectrum, not all abinaries are opposed to gender binarity (as in unbinary, negabinary and antibinary), some of them are just nonbinary (as in not binary). What could be considered as binary opposition/dissidence? Apothibinary (binary-repulsed abinarity) for example, could be considered as negabinary, but this isn’t inherently negabinarity.
A maverique individual who does not mind people assuming fen is neutrois, even though fen isn’t, but fen feels distressful when people assume fen is a guy. So fen could be labeled as apothiboy/apothiguy or antiguy nonneutrois eumaverique;
A pluralian woman that isn’t a man but does not mind being grouped with men. This woman could be considered achiralgirl or eugirl nonboy;
A genderfluid nonbinary female, when sy is a girl sy is antienby, but when sy is an enby sy is antigirl. So this person would be zerogirlby.
Obviously these experiences aren’t universal, some people don’t have antigenders nor comgenders. In leptive spectrums and gender math, antigenders are considered negative-genders (negatrois) & eugenders positive-genders (positrois). Nulltrois (gender nullity) encompasses a-genders, neugenders and nongenders (and some ambivalent-genders, such as zerogenders, but this is more ambitrois). But -trois implies three, as in outrogenders (abinary other-genders) and aliagenders (third-genders), so not all people could be considered leptrois.
Reminder that gender negativity isn’t gender dysphoria, gender positivity isn’t euphoria nor gender neutrality paraphoria/adphoria. These things aren’t the same. Some people may feel gender dysphoric when confused with their antigenders, but this isn’t universal either.
Queer flag concepts? Coz I don’t really like the classic queer flag (it’s alright, just not my taste I guess?) and chevron is cool but I find it hard to use.
Please give me feedback and I’d like to hear any suggestions you might have!
I want the reversed rainbow to represent the wide spectrum of orientations, the heart is for love and the trans colours for gender identity (obviously).

Since the overall encompassing term had to be coined through a francophone lens to avoid using an unpleasant word as the prefix, these were too. Some French“the” prefixes (la/le) were added to some of these terms to improve the sound and structure of the word. Accents are optional but included to show pronunciation.

@nebularomantic graciously allowed me to create a flag for a term asked for by an anonymous question. this term is Wingphinaec, a gender related to wings/having wings. thanks!
[Image Description: Two pictures of flags, both having seven (7) stripes each. The flag on the left’s colors from the top down are: black, light gray, purple, white, lime green, the same light gray and black. The flag on the right’s colors from the top down are: black, light gray, purple, white, forest green, light gray and black. End Image Description].
Hey guys!! I made a flag for my gender and I really wanted to share!!!
I’ve finally found a term that fits, it just popped into my head and I was like YES THAT!!
Here is the flag (or flags) for the term Agenderqueer!!! I thought of the term all on my own but I may not be the first. Just keep that in mind!
The first flag uses the green from the agender flag, while the second uses the green from the genderqueer flag. I prefer the first, but those who identify a little more as genderqueer may want something to express that in the flag.
The meanings of the colors!
Black- Absence of gender
Grey- Being semi-genderless
Purple- Represents genders that are of, between, or a mix of male and female/ on the binary spectrum
White- Absence of gender/gender neutralness/agenderness
Green- Represents those outside of the gender binary as it is the inverse of purple
Being genderqueer but always feeling agender. It could come and go, be simultaneous, or agender could be the ‘base’ of your gender identity!
You don’t have to ask me to identify as/with this term, but please do credit me if you use the flag for any sort of icons, headers, drawings, etc. Also I ask that you don’t interact if you are anti Mogai. Thank you very much!!
A gender that is related to, connected to, associated with and/or influenced by lycanthropes in some way. Can be used by both lycanthropes / therians / werewolfkins etc. and non-therians. Name taken from the word lycanthrope and the Faoladh, a werewolf of Irish folklore.
A coyotelike gender, and/or a gender related to, connected to, associated with, influenced by and/or impacted by coyotes, and/or a gender influenced by a coyote theriotype. Name comes from the Nahuatl word for coyote (coyōtl) and the scientific name for coyotes (Canis latrans).
Apothibinary (apothigender + binary): binary-repulsed abinary individuals; experiencing no binary genders while repulsed by the concept of gender binarity being applied to you.
See also: virgender, antibinary, unbinary, negabinary, ungender.
Attraction – the action or power of evoking interest, pleasure or liking for someone or something.
The Main Types of Attraction
Romantic – Desiring to engage in traditionally romantic activities with another (ex: kissing, cuddling, going on dates, etc.).
Sexual – Desiring to engage in sexual activities with another.
Erotic – Appreciation for sexual arts or a desire to know someone using one’s senses through explicitly sexual acts (such as gouinage). Considered a mix of aesthetic, sensual, and sexual attraction.
Sensual – Desiring to know another by using one’s senses, especially through touch. This is NOT an explicitly sexual form of physical attraction, though it doesn’t have to be strictly romantic in nature either.
Presential – Like sensual attraction, but more the desire to be in someone’s presence than to touch or be intimate with them. A desire to know someone through their presence without an aspect of intimacy. Often coupled with aesthetic, platonic, social, etc.
Aesthetic – Usually desiring just to observe a person because one finds them aesthetically pleasing.
Doraric – A desire to be close to, serve, and even worship someone out of an adoration which derives itself from attractions that are neither explicitly romantic, nor explicitly platonic. Considered a mix of spiritual and alterous attractions.
Alterous – Desiring emotional closeness without necessarily being (entirely or at all) platonic and/or romantic. Alterous attraction is most often experienced as a sort of “transitional” phase by alloromantic individuals; it is felt when the person is no longer sure whether or not they have a “crush” on the object of this attraction. For some, however, it’s a form of attraction all its own that straddles the line between platonic and romantic.
Queerplatonic – (also referred to as qplatonic, quasiplatonic, and quirkyplatonic) Like alterous, it is neither romantic nor platonic, but can be functionally similar to both; a type of attraction that (while certainly aromantic) cannot be properly reduced to platonic without leaving some important aspects out. Also used as an umbrella term for any relationship that falls outside of the strict “romantic-or-platonic” binary.
Fluitic – Also known as “wavering” attraction. Being unsure of what one desires from the object of their attraction due to the nature of said attraction being “wavering” (frequently shifting from one type to another).
Platonic – The desire to form a close (or closer) platonic relationship/friendship with another.
Social – “Aspirational” or mentor-attraction; a desire to be closer to and/or more like someone because of their perceived talent and/or wisdom.
Amical – Interchangeable with platonicity (sometimes refers to “best friends”); on a higher level of affinity than in just social/interpersonal circles (that are more impersonal).
Emotional/Ecstatic – A broad term for a desire for commitment and mutual emotional nurturing, regardless of a relationship’s specific nature. To feel emotionally attracted to someone is to desire being consistently supportive of and supported by that person emotionally. Subtypes may include amorous, romantic, (q)platonic, mental, and amical attraction.
Familial – Desiring an emotional closeness with another by virtue of them being family, or desiring an emotional closeness with an unrelated other that mimics a traditionally/idealized familial bond.
Mental – An umbrella term for any form of intellectual/psychological and spiritual attractions.
Spiritual – A desire to be close to another (regardless of the nature of said closeness) based on the belief or feeling that such a relationship is “destiny,” or that the object of such attraction once had a relationship with the subject in a “past life” of sorts. In some cases, it can be used as a subset of social attraction — desiring a mentor-student-type relationship with someone based on their strong spirituality.
Intellectual/Psychological – The desire to “share a mindspace” with another by exchanging wisdom, knowledge, or interests. Related to social relationships, but generally where the object of such attraction is not considerered “socially superior.”
Tutelary – Also known as “protective attraction.” A desire to take care, protect and support another. It is the attraction one might feel towards a child, a pet, or a vulnerable person. It is often based in a desire to feel needed.
Cedural – Also known as “submissive attraction.” A desire to be protected, covered, understood, tutored, and supported by someone. Not to be confused as kink-related or sexual in nature.
If I’ve missed any major forms of attraction or gotten a definition wrong, please let me know and I’ll add it to the list/correct it right away. Thank you.
–
If you have any problems with any of these terms, please let me know. I may take the post down & will certainly do my best to correct the issue.🦋
Honestly I’m tired of there being no word for this so I fixed it.
Xen(gender): experiencing a particular gender as a xenoic experience, or including xenoic feelings/aspects, even though the gender is usually not a xenogender.
Some possible examples:
Xenboy: xenoic boy
Xengirl: xenoic girl
Xenangi: xenoic angi/androgyne
Xenagin: xenoic agender/genderless
Xeneutral: xenoic neutral
Xenapora: xenoic aporagender
Xenother: xenoic other gender
This can’t be used to modify genders that are already inherently xenogenders, but it can apply to anything else.
Angigender: any androgynous gender identity; a gender that is attached to gender androgyny; or a mixture of gender masculinity & gender femininity. Also known as gynandrogender, androgynogender & gender-androgyny.
Similar to androgyne, based on genderneutral flag.

If I’ve missed any major forms of attraction or gotten a definition wrong, please let me know and I’ll add it to the list/correct it right away. Thank you.

If you have any problems with any of these terms, please let me know. I may take the post down & will certainly do my best to correct the issue.🦋
Eroticity is like a mix of aesthetic, sensual and sexual attractions, appreciation for sexual arts or wanting corporeal/sensorial bonds as in gouinage.
Amic/Amicality is like friendship, it also reminds amicability. It is interchangeable with platonicity. Sometimes it means best friends, other times just friendship. But it’s on a higher level of affinity than in just social/interpersonal circles (that are more impersonal).
Mental attraction is an umbrella for intellectual/psychological and spiritual attractions.
Queerplatonic is also known as qplatonic, quasiplatonic and quirkyplatonic.
There was recently doraric attraction, -dorare is like a mix of spiritual and alterous attractions (as a result of quasiplatonic vs romantic ambiguity).
There’s no monosemic term (with exact/specific/only one definition) for being attracted to masculine individuals regardless of their gender. Recently there was coined fe- (fesexual/feromantic) for attraction femininity regardlessly gender identity, there was also mascu (mascuromantic/mascusexual) then someone recoined it as attraction to men.
You may suggest that andro-/masc-/vir-/min- means it, but there are a lot of people also using these terms meaning attraction to men or masculine genders (the same happens with gyne-/gyno-/fem-/fin-/femme-). So I’m gonna ask y’all what you think:
Manu-/Maculi- attraction to masculinity (presentation/expression), regardless of gender identity.
Based on manugender/masculigender. Reminder there are already monosemic terms for attraction to men/women, such as ma(n)-/vir(i)-/mascic & femaric/woma(n)-/femi-.
Androgyne-/androgyno-/androgino-/androgine- are also terms used in many / polysemic ways, to mean attraction to both men and women (as in ambi-); being attracted to androgyne/androgynous people or masculine & feminine individuals. There’s lin but it’s not about androgynous expression only (compared to min-/fin-). So I also coined:
Angi- attraction to androgyny regardless of gender.
Presquegender / Bisexual / Quoiromantic combo flag for @polaroidillusions
Presquegender – A gender which is almost neutral but has a connection to femininity and masculinity
Bisexual – Attracted to two or more genders
Quoiromantic – Being unsure if you experience attraction or not. Being unable to understand attraction as a concept or feeling. Finding the concept of attraction to be inaccessible, inapplicable, nonsensical.

I really wasn’t sure what to do for this one, so I decided just to combine the colors from all three flags and spruce them up a bit. I know, it’s a little weird looking. Sorry if it’s not to your liking.
it may be flown/displayed either way, horizontally or vertically. feel free to use this flag, no attribution needed.
what each color represents:
purple: individual, personal or inner truth.
yellow: gender euphoria, that i wish to every trans person.
blue: the metaphorical ocean of trans experiences. we have different genders, different bodies, different gender expressions, different transition goals, etc, and all of this diversity is beautiful.
pink: love between trans people♥
image descriptions:
two suggested flags for the trans community. flag number one has a thick yellow border, inside there is blue and pink and in the very center of the flag is a purple circle. flag number two has three horizontal stripes (a thick blue one, a thinner yellow one and a thick pink one) and on the very left of the flag there is a purple triangle pointing to the right.
Oh, I just don’t really like how the colors go together on the NB flag so I messed around with it a bit, but I ended up making one that’s only to my taste because I prefer colors that are dull, faded and dark, they’re so much easier on the eyes gfdgj. I made a more vibrant one after that. I think the dull one is nice because it matches a lot more
[not to be confused with Genderfae. See also Fablegender & Faygender for broader genders] — modified flag.
A muted purple stripe was added to emphasise the set of colours of the neurodiversity infinity symbol. Also represents magic.
Updated Meaning:
“A gender related to The Fae — a gender that changes with the seasons, equinoxes, and moon phases, and/or a neurogender related to the Changeling myth[which is about autistic people]”
Regressigender, Regressgender, or Regressusgender: A gender that is only present during age regression.
(I have to politely request that you don’t use this term for kink purposes. I’m not anti-kink but that just isn’t what I intended this to be used for.)
Edit: Apparently there’s another definition here that already existed. I like that definition too, so this can be a flag for that one as well!
i recently updated my bio and i added some new pronouns that i want to try out.
i really like neo pronouns but i’ve always had a hard time finding ones that i really like, so i came up with these!
‘se’ comes from the Finnish pronoun meaning ‘it’ (and ‘sen’ meaning ‘its’) which is very commonly used to refer to other people.
i don’t know if someone has already done this but i just wanted to inform you darlings of this (and maybe someone else likes these pronouns too! i am a bit iffy about non-finnish speakers using these pronouns so please be conciderate of that!)
i associate these pronouns with snow and the connection to nature, as well as informality and humility.
How To Use:
Se really likes animals and sen pet cat is very kind! Se takes care of sen cat all by senself!
Someone tell me if you know the source. The only post I could find was from a not very nice blog, so I’m reuploading this for anyone it might hell but I’m sorry that I cannot credit whoever coined this and whoever designed the flag!
Apigender: A gender that feels soft and vibrates with differing
intensities. Feels sticky, fuzzy and soft. Giving vibes of what honey
tastes like. Based on the scientific genus Apis meaning bee. It can be
used by anyone but has beekin in mind.
something that really interests me is the way i see many people talking about gender from a synesthetic viewpoint, and i wonder why it isn’t discussed more from that perspective?
(keep in mind i’m not a doctor or neurologist or anything i just think this stuff is really cool)
if you aren’t familiar with the term “synesthesia”, it’s a medically documented phenomenon where the stimulation of one sense causes you to have perceptions in another sense. the more well-known forms of it are grapheme-color (where someone perceives letters and/or numbers as having colors) and chromesthesia (where someone associates sounds with colors) but there are many, many different ways that people experience synesthesia. and the idea of senses blending or overlapping isn’t that uncommon: think of how we say bright colors are “loud” or that cold air is “sharp”.
specifically i want to discuss the idea of gender-related synesthesia! when people talk about gender in ways like “my gender is large and round” or “my gender is soft and translucent”, i see that as being a synesthetic experience. (note: since gender isn’t really so much a “sense” like hearing or smell or sight, this experience would probably fall under “ideasthesia” instead, a word sometimes used meaning “association of concepts with sensory experiences”, but since the concepts are pretty similar i’ll just use the word “synesthesia” for this post.) most of these are categorized as xenogenders, and i’ve seen the word “synesgender” used a few times but it seems pretty rare! i actually think it could be a good idea to have “synesgender” as a more common classification for genders that are described using sense and sensation, e.g. colorgender and similar genders.
and this is where a lot of people get confused or even angry at the concept, because “but gender can’t be soft or round or purple or any of these things!” but that’s the thing: not everyone experiences synesthesia, so not everyone is going to understand how it feels. take me: i have synesthesia. i see shapes and patterns in my head when i hear music (and some other sounds). also, when i hear spoken words, i see the word written out in my head. people may not be able to conceptualize what it’s like to experience this, but that doesn’t mean i don’t experience it. and since there are so many forms of synesthesia, there are tons that i don’t have and i can’t begin to imagine what it’s like to, for example, taste words when i say them! but that doesn’t mean that other people don’t experience it themselves. so i believe in respecting people when they describe their gender using concepts of synesthesia, or other ways not connected to a gender binary.
i’m also curious about how many people who describe their genders like this experience other forms of synesthesia. and hey maybe this post will be helpful to someone who’s trying to figure out why they experience gender the way they do?
in conclusion, both synesthesia and gender are very cool thanks for coming to my ted talk
(also if other synesthetic people have anything to add about their perceptions of gender, please do!)
I made two demipera flags! One more distinctive, and one in the more traditional demigender flag style.
Pera: a gender that is not at all a part of, or related to, the
gender trinary of male/female/none (or in some cases, neutral). This
gender is not at all female, male, androgynous, or neutral. Pera is not a
lack of gender, confusion about one’s gender, or apathy about one’s
gender. It is completely removed from the gender trinary of
male/female/none (or neutral). coined: X
Demigender: an umbrella term for having a partial connection to a certain gender, or partially being a certain gender.
I mashed up the sans- and cass- (orientation) flags for people who are sanscass/cassans- !
Sans- When there’s no trend line in the attraction and basically it’s a very fluid orientation. Like aceflux/aroflux, but all orientations, not just aro scale. It means no orientation (sans means without).
Cass- Feeling utterly indifferent to your orientation, as though it does not matter or is not a significant part of your identity. “You might feel attraction, you might not, meh, maybe you like girls, or nonbinary people, ehh, who cares though?”
I personally feel like its when your orientation is fluid with no trend line in the attraction, while also being like “meh, i may feel this attraction or i may not.”
Ambigue: an ambiguous gender. A gender identity associated with ambiguity.
@momma-mogai-sphinx had signified ambiguity as a gender quality, as androgynous is also a gender expression, there’s androgyne to contrast as a gender identity, so it is with ambigue with ambiguousness.
Ambiguous is defined as something open to more than one interpretation; having a double meaning; synonymous to Delphic, cryptic, enigmatic, gnomic, paradoxical, misleading, ambivalent and obscure.
Not to be confused with ambigugender or ambigender. It could be also an ambitrois gender.
so uh. these are some variants to a femmesexual flag that my friend came up with. she doesn’t have tumblr so she asked me to post this for her. she didn’t flat out tell me what the meaning is, but if she does I’ll post it
