I had an anon ask about neutral sigils in response to my transmasculine and transfeminine sigils I made a few sigils that anyone could use but I mainly had transneutral people in mind
There’s not much to say about this one that isn’t included in the comic. So I’ll just repeat that I’m transneutral and I love being transneutral and I’m glad to have the word transneutral. Finding it put an end to the uncertainty I felt with how I related to transmasculine people in some ways but didn’t in other ways. The reason I usually prefer to dress masc isn’t really to look more masculine but to look less feminine. It’s to counteract the appearance of my face and body and create balance in the Force. I feel like if I’d been assigned male at birth I’d be trying to use femininity for the same overall neutral result.
Also I like all the transneutral flag designs, but the yellow one is my favourite, which is why I chose yellow as the main colour for this comic. (Probably just biased though, since yellow is my favourite colour in general).
It’s been a little while since I’ve made flags, so here’s my best! I made a template for this because I had an idea in my head and couldn’t find a template!
I have one other of this in Red and Gold, if you don’t like this one!
Genderfuck or Genderf*ck: Some nonbinary people may choose or need to present a ‘clashing’ combination of gender cues that are incongruous, challenging or shocking to those who expect others to fit the gender binary. For example, combining a beard with makeup and a padded bra. This practice of transgressively breaking the rules of gender presentation is known as genderfuck, genderfucking or sometimes genderpunk.
Term coined by: Unknown
[image description: a purple flag with a pastel yellow border. a very stylized pastel yellow skull symbol (looks like a circle with two partial circle cut-outs for eye sockets, and three small vertical cut-outs for teeth) is centered on the flag]
Color meanings: The colors (yellow and purple) are to show the different kinds of identities and expressions that go under the term (Purple being a mixture of male and female, yellow being outside the binary entirely, and them working together to show those who experience multiple genders in such a way), and the skull for the rebellious nature of the gender identity.

Being a trans girl doesn’t always mean that you feel more safe and comfortable around other girls compared to how you feel around guys. You can have only guy friends and still be a trans girl. Everyone’s experiences are unique, everyone is a complete and complex human being.
A gender relative to female, but is something separate and entirely on it’s own. it is not outside the gender spectrum. [jux from “juxta”, latin adverb for near, “era”]
[image description: a flag with four stripes. from top to bottom they are: intense red, bright red, orange, light orange]
Color meanings: Likely colors close to pink, but not exactly to represent the “similar but separate” aspect of Juxera. The same goes for the Proxvir design with colors close to blue, but not exact.
[image description: a black flag. a pentagon is centered on the flag, pointing up. the pentagon has five horizontal stripes. from top to bottom they are: pink, light purple, dark blue, grey-blue, light blue. a turquoise triangle, pointing upwards, is overlaid on the light purple stripe]
“The idea is the pink and blue on the ends of the shape represent the “girl” and “boy” genders, while the blue/gray, faded navy, and light purple represent the body of the gender spectrum. the green triangles represent where exactly each gender falls on the spectrum, which is “near girl” in the juxera flag and “near boy” in the proxvir flag, and point toward either pink or blue.”
Proxvir:
A gender relative to male, but is something separate and entirely on it’s own. it is not outside the gender spectrum. [prox from “proximus”, latin adjective for near, “vir” from masculine latin noun]
[image description: a flag with four stripes. from top to bottom they are: teal, turquoise, green, light green]
[image description: same as the second, but the pentagram points down. the colors are in the same order. the triangle is dark green and on the blue-grey stripe, and points downward]

Gendersylph, also known as Genderfaon, Genderfeor, or Genderfen is a form of genderfluidity in which someone is fluid exclusively (or nearly exclusively) between xenogenders or otherwise uncommon identities. Someone who is gendersylph would never (or very rarely) identify as a gender within the binary. They almost always identify as something non-binary. This identity can change at random and can also fluctuate in intensity. This identity is similar to genderflor but is specifically for xenogenders/uncommon genders.
Gendersylpher, also known as Genderfaoner, Genderfeorer, or Genderfener is a form of genderfluidity in which someone is fluid exclusively (or nearly exclusively) between xenogenders or otherwise uncommon identities, and masculine genders. Someone who is gendersylpher would never identify as a binary woman, with feminine genders, or as a binary man. They almost always identify as something non-binary, or on the masculine spectrum. This identity can change at random and can also fluctuate in intensity. This identity is similar to genderflorer but is specifically for xenogenders/uncommon genders.
Gendersylphet, also known as Genderfaonet, Genderfeoret, or Genderfenet is a form of genderfluidity in which someone is fluid exclusively (or nearly exclusively) between xenogenders or otherwise uncommon identities, and feminine genders. Someone who is gendersylphet would never identify as a binary male, with masculine genders, or as a binary woman. They almost always identify as something non-binary, or on the feminine spectrum. This identity can change at random and can also fluctuate in intensity. This identity is similar to genderfloret but is specifically for xenogenders/uncommon genders.
Gendersylphen, also known as Genderfaonen, Genderfeoren, or Genderfenen is a form of genderfluidity in which someone is fluid exclusively (or nearly exclusively) between xenogenders or otherwise uncommon identities, masculine, and feminine genders. Someone who is gendersylphen would never identify as a binary woman or as a binary man. They almost always identify as something non-binary, or on the masculine/feminine spectrum. This identity can change at random and can also fluctuate in intensity. This identity is similar to genderfloren but is specifically for xenogenders/uncommon genders.
Gendersylphen was coined on November 2nd, 2020.
The Gendersylphen flag takes the Gendersylph flag and hueshifts parts of it to be pinker and bluer, representing femininity and masculinity.
the alt Gendersylphen flag was created by FANDOM user Hayden&co on May 10, 2021.
Hello! Unfortunately, hyenagender already exists. However, if you feel like making a gender that is separate from that definition (or just want an alternate flag), here’s a few ideas
a term for a rosboy lesbian/any lesboy who’s a guy (made with non-binary guys in mind, but potentially available to binary guys as long as they aren’t connected with their binary manhood), but isn’t aligned with guyhood, and views their attraction to women through their alignment with womanhood and femininity, and not the fact that they’re men. this doesn’t refer to presentation, as men who present femininely aren’t necessarily feminine aligned or woman aligned in their gender itself.
this is just a term for any lesboy who’s a boy, but due to not actually being aligned with boyhood/manhood, views their attraction to women as queer/nlw. this is strictly a term for men who aren’t aligned with malehood or masculinity. it’s made with non-binary men in mind, but if a binary man is a rosboy or is a man who is aligned with femininity and/or womanhood instead of manhood, and they view their attraction to women in that context and it’s, to them, more complex because of that and therefore queer, then this label is also open to them!
disclaimer-
as inclusive as i am of lesboys, i’m still aware of the constraints on lesbianism that generally, binary men id’ing as lesbians is not necessarily good. however, identity is complex and personal, so for this term, it’s inclusive of binary men as long as they are woman and/or fem-aligned. gender conforming men, please don’t use this term- that includes male-aligned non-binary men
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are red, orange, golden orange, yellow, white, light pink, magenta, light purple, and purple. There is a flower composed of dark purple and rose pink layers in the center of the flag. End ID.]
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
azurbian–
a term for azurgirl lesbians, or lesbians who are women but are aligned with masculinity and/or malehood, and whose attraction to women in context of their gender non-conformity is queer and lesbian
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are grape, grey-pink, rose pink, salmon pink, light purple, light pink, magenta, light purple, and purple. There is a flower composed of violet and indigo layers in the center of the flag. End ID.]
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
rosurian-
a term for rosboy turians, or turians who are men but are aligned with femininity and/or femalehood, and whose attraction to men in context of their gender non-conformity is queer and turian
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are hot pink, red-orange, orange, golden yellow, very light grey, chartreuse, green, medium sky blue, and blue-indigo. End ID.]
🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
azurrian–
a term for an azurgirl turian/any turian who’s a girl (made with non-binary women in mind, but potentially available to binary women as long as they aren’t connected with their binary womanhood), but isn’t aligned with girlhood, and views their attraction to men through their alignment with manhood and masculinity, and not the fact that they’re women. this doesn’t refer to presentation, as women who present masculinely aren’t necessarily masculine aligned or man aligned in their gender itself.
this is just a term for any turian who’s a girl, but due to not actually being aligned with girlhood/womanhood, views their attraction to men as queer/nlm. this is strictly a term for women who aren’t aligned with femalehood or femininity. it’s made with non-binary women in mind, but if a binary woman is an azurgirl or is a woman who is aligned with masculinity and/or manhood instead of womanhood, and they view their attraction to men in that context and it’s, to them, more complex because of that and therefore queer, then this label is also open to them!
disclaimer-
as inclusive as i am of female turians, i’m still aware of the constraints on being vincian that generally, binary men id’ing as lesbians is not necessarily good. however, identity is complex and personal, so for this term, it’s inclusive of binary men as long as they are woman and/or fem-aligned. gender conforming men, please don’t use this term- that includes male-aligned non-binary men

all terms and flags by me!
the stripes on all the flags represent different aspects of the associated gender qualities and attractions, and the middle stripe on each flag is designed to be inclusive of cultural identities whose existence has been purged by eurocentric exclusivity, and for the reclamation of love and respect for non-eurocentric queer identites, like two spirit people and other culturally specific identities! i’ve been speaking a lot lately with some wonderful friends of mine, a few of whom are two spirit lesbians, and they’ve inspired me to be more actively inclusive of indigeouns identities in my flags so i hope you enjoy them and know, they’re always open to all!
hiya! I figured id make an informational post about the little things ive noticed about being on testosterone that I found weren’t talked about a lot when I was starting my transition and even before when I was doing my research. I think that trans sexual health is an extremely important part of trans peoples lives (and that doesnt necessarily mean sex) seeing as the physical changes that happen during transition are often foreign to us. Sexual health keeps us healthy and comfortable in our bodies, so do your best to stay attentive to your body’s changes! As always, consult your doctor if you feel the need to. These are only tips ive learned from transitioning myself and from my doctor when I asked about certain things.
Fucking tumblr our here really trying to teach the world things
Hey this isn’t necessarily something for HRT. But rather for top surgery for those considering it, most every surgeon and endocrinologist I’ve met (save for the ones I’m working with currently) doesn’t mention this and trans dudes who have gone through top surgery sometimes don’t even know about it, but your ti🅱️🅱️ies? They make hormones. Lots of them. When you get top surgery you’re removing a primary maker of hormones from your body and it’ll throw you through a loop, and for anywhere from a few days to a couple months after the surgery your hormones are gonna be WACK. This will usually cause a post-surgery depression that a lot of trans men sometimes confuse with regret for taking this step in their transition and it’ll throw them into an identity crisis, so for those planning on taking that step, just remember that weird ass sadness you’re gonna feel is just your hormones being like “hey wHAT the FUCK” and you made the right decision for you!!

Since my Aroflux, Aceflux, and Aroaceflux cat blobs got a whole bunch of attention, I’m planning to start a little series of these!! Part 1/?? The first few are going to be various Multigender flags!
When your gender is no gender and all of the gender simultaneously. This is different from being Apeirgender, as Genderscum is also a declared opposition to gender-normativity.
[[ 3 pictures of the discord mushroom emoji, but with pride flags. The spots have been changed to an off white, and the red cap has changed to pride flags.
The first flag is the gendervoid flag, the second is the polygendervoid flag, and the third is the multigender flag. END ID. ]]
Genderqueer picture thingy!! (Apparently it’s called a photoset/photoboard/moodboard) The flag, term, and pictures aren’t mine.
This website has decided to let me put pictures next to each other again, yay.
(ID: A square photoboard of 9 photos in 3 rows. The top row is purple disco balls, a purple subway car, and a purple pool. The middle row is white balloons, the genderqueer flag, and white stairs. The bottom row is green lights, green clovers, and a green city skyline.)
A noungender for one whose’s gender is connected to or influenced by lightning, lightning bolts, or anything else lightning-related. This term can be a standalone gender identity or just describe a different gender identity.
One who is rakuraigender might have a feeling of complex and/or chaotic gender identity. Their gender may feel electric or energetic. They may also have a connection to nature.
The word rakuraigender comes from the word “rakurai” meaning “lightning strike/bolt” in Japanese. So someone who is rakuraigender has a gender connected to lightning.
This term is different than lightninggender, which is where one experiences their gender in flashes. (The lightninggender flag is super pretty though!!!)
(Flag ID: A teal flag with a white lightning bolt drawn on. The teal represents the weather and its impact on some people’s gender.)
Inspired by the weather outside my house right now. There’s a “severe” and “life-threatening” storm going on and there’s been several warnings in place telling people to stay inside.
This flag was created for these specific emojiself pronouns, but you may also use it to represent pronouns like mush/mushroomself or shroom/shroomself.
(Flag ID: A flag with 5 horizontal stripes. The stripes are brown, tan, white, pink, and red, and there are 5 white circles on top of the stripes to represent mushrooms. In the center of the flag is the mushroom emoji.)
Amplusspec, also known as ampluspec, a portmanteu of amplus spectrum, is an umbrella term that encompasses the amplusian, amplusic, and amplusous spectra. It can be used by anyone who’s gender(s), orientation(s), or amory are flexible, fluid, flux, a gray area between identities, or fragmented.
The amplusspec flag was created by Tumblr user @plushself.
An alternate amplussec flag was designed by FANDOM user Unfunny person420.
Lunarboy is a xenogender that describes the experience of both boyhood and a deep connection to the moon. This connection may be due to alterhumanity or neurodivergency but it’s not exclusive to those experiences.
Lunarboy was coined by Saku and Aether, two members of the Raining Stars Collective, which is their username both on Discord and on FANDOM. They designed the flag.
Amplusian (or Amplusgender) is a gender that can be described as a lenient, non-strict, wide, or varied identity. This gender is not static, solid, or stable and can be fluid, fluctuating, or both. It can also be in a grey area between gender identities. Amplusian can be used as an umbrella term for any gender that changes in any way or is non-strict, it can also be an identity on it’s own. It is the opposite of suptilian.
Amplusian was coined by Tumblr user arco-pluris. The Latin root “amplus” is an adjective meaning “abundant” or “ample”.
The amplusian flag was created by arco-pluris. An alternate flag was created by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr. Tumblr blog gender-resource designed another flag. The fourth amplusian flag was designed by FANDOM user ThatsJustKai.
–a t4t variant specifically made for multigendered people who only feel attraction, want to date other multigendered people, or are in a relationship with another multigendered person. this could be for many reasons, one of being the understanding multigendered individuals share with eachother
! please only use this flag and term if you are multigendered yourself or are headcanoning a character to be !
Based on chameleonic presentation flag, using purple to represent queerness (from genderqueer flag). The flag is meant to represent when you consider your presentation to be queer, no matter what other people think. Mayhaps denominated as queerous or queerine.
Generation after generation, Southern pastors adapted their theology to thrive under a terrorist state. Principled critics were exiled or murdered, leaving voices of dissent few and scattered. Southern Christianity evolved in strange directions under ever-increasing isolation. Preachers learned to tailor their message to protect themselves. If all you knew about Christianity came from a close reading of the New Testament, you’d expect that Christians would be hostile to wealth, emphatic in protection of justice, sympathetic to the point of personal pain toward the sick, persecuted and the migrant, and almost socialist in their economic practices. None of these consistent Christian themes served the interests of slave owners, so pastors could either abandon them, obscure them, or flee.
What developed in the South was a theology carefully tailored to meet the needs of a slave state. Biblical emphasis on social justice was rendered miraculously invisible. A book constructed around the central metaphor of slaves finding their freedom was reinterpreted. Messages which might have questioned the inherent superiority of the white race, constrained the authority of property owners, or inspired some interest in the poor or less fortunate could not be taught from a pulpit. Any Christian suggestion of social justice was carefully and safely relegated to “the sweet by and by” where all would be made right at no cost to white worshippers. In the forge of slavery and Jim Crow, a Christian message of courage, love, compassion, and service to others was burned away.
”For Southerners, righteousness had little meaning beyond sex, and sexual mores had far less importance for men than for women. Guarding women’s sexual purity meant guarding the purity of the white race. There was no higher moral demand.”
this is part of what I mean btw when I talk about gender and race being constituted through one another. modern conceptions of & conditions related to “womanhood” were both made possible by & necessitated by the creation of race.
Frederick Douglass talked about this in his Narrative:
What I have said respecting and against religion, I mean strictly to apply to the slaveholding religion of this land, and with no possible reference to Christianity proper; for, between the Christianity of this land, and the Christianity of Christ, I recognize the widest possible difference–so wide, that to receive the one as good, pure, and holy, is of necessity to reject the other as bad, corrupt, and wicked. To be the friend of the one, is of necessity to be the enemy of the other. I love the pure, peaceable, and impartial Christianity of Christ: I therefore hate the corrupt, slaveholding, women-whipping, cradle-plundering, partial and hypocritical Christianity of this land.
He also said that it was worse to be enslaved by a “religious” man, because were crueler. It’s no surprise that this version of Christianity continued in the South even after slavery itself was ended.
Based on chameleonic presentation flag, using purple to represent queerness (from genderqueer flag). The flag is meant to represent when you consider your presentation to be queer, no matter what other people think. Mayhaps denominated as queerous or queerine.
i love when i see people being loud and proud with identities others find “contradictory.” i love seeing people expressing their unique complexities in whatever way feels best to them. keep on being you, lovelies~ 💖
Was screwing around in Adobe Mix and made an agender aromantic flag combo! I thought it turned out nice. It helps that the color palettes are so similar.
Citrullusgender/Salemgender: gender with a fluid alignment related to colorful aliens, stars, summer nights, shiny things, and warmth. It feels bittersweet due to nostalgia and longing.
💖🔆👽
this is for me because I couldn’t find any labels that fit, if you identify with this feel free to use it! I think using citrullusgender rather than salemgender would be best, since Salem is my name.
This is intended for alienkin individuals, but it’s by no means exclusive.
i decided to make a flag for sapphic xenics like myself, i’ve seen flags for xenic lesbians but not xenic sapphics so here’s one i made 😀 then i was inspired to make flags for other xenic orientations so 😀
sapphic xenic flag-
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are black, maroon, burnt orange, light orange, golden yellow, lilac, medium purple, royal blue, and black. End ID.]
xenic achillean flag-
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are black, maroon, burnt orange, light orange, golden yellow, mint green, medium turquoise, royal blue, and black. End ID.]
xenic lunian flag–
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are black, deep pink, burnt orange, light orange, golden yellow, light blue, medium blue, indigo, and black. End ID.]
xenic solian flag-
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are black, deep pink, burnt orange, light orange, golden yellow, light orange, medium pink, medium brown, and black. End ID.]
[Image: an 8-striped horizontal flag with stripes in descending order: blue, light blue, yellow, white purple, black, light blue, blue.]
Nonbinary Boy: nonbinary means not a binary gender. a Nonbinary person might call themselves a boy because they might feel associated with that gender, but be, for instance, a demiboy, which is a non binary gender. Other people might feel comfortable with masculine pronouns and a masculine presentation, and therefore call themselves a boy because of that association and because calling themselves a boy helps express that association, but they may still have a nonbinary identity like agender. Both these people might therefore be a non binary boy.
Made by combining the nonbinary flag with this man flag.
a term for completely androgynous/non-aligning ppl who are attracted to all genders!
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horiontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are yellow, red-orange, pink, medium blue, violet, medium blue, pink, red-orange, and yellow. End ID.]
[Image ID: A pastel recolor of the above flag. A flag with nine equally-sized horiontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are pastel yellow, tan orange, pastel pink, blue-violet, purple, blue-violet, pastel pink, tan orange, and pastel yellow. End ID.]
a term for any lesboy/saphboy who is both sapphic and vincian, but due to fear of being out as a sapphic guy due to exclusionism and harassment, they only are open about their vincian identity
[Image ID: A flag with nine equally-sized horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are magenta, medium purple, black, royal blue, teal green, royal blue, black, medium purple, and magenta. End ID.]
Let’s give a big, warm shout-out to some less common types of arospecs, shall we?
If you’re aroflux, cupioromantic, placioromantic, aegoromantic, bellusromantic, lithromantic, apothiromantic, idemromantic, frayromantic, recipromantic, quasiromantic, quoiromantic, or another uncommon arospec identity, you’re truly wonderful and valid! Y’all deserve so much more visibility and acceptance, and I sincerely hope that one day you get it. Have an amazing day, you fantastic arospecs!

A shorthand term for someone who is mspec straight. Meant to be a companion to lunian, solian, stellian, and the other astral alignments. Both flags are for the same thing, the right one just has more contrast for those who may have difficulty with the colors.
These terms can be used independently of the flags, and vice versa. You
might like the flags, but use mspec straight instead of mesrien/jupiteric, or you might like the labels, but use different flags, and
that’s okay!
Colors were meant to be a contrast to the stellian flag, as well as some small influences from the transhet flag.
[id: a digital drawing of a black woman sitting in a wheelchair on a light pink background. she’s wearing a white dress and boots with pink and purple flowers patterned on them, which match the flowers on her wheelchair’s wheels. in a black speech bubble next to her, she says: “people with disabilities still do not have marriage equality.” in the second image, which has a purple background, she says “there is no marriage equality until people with disabilities can marry without losing benefits.” end id.]
Lucenac- a gender related to neon lights, uv & blacklights, glow in the dark, & other similar glowing lights associated with them (this may or may not include bioluminescence.) Comes from the word “lucent” for “glowing with or giving off light.”
definition 1 :: a neurogender where you feel like your delusions , hypersexuality , etc affect your gender identity .
definition 2 :: a coricgender where you feel connected to the aesthetic of incubi / succubi / the deadly sin of lust & are just like “ wow this is so gender ”
flag doesnt have any meanings . youre free to make definitions for the stripes or make your own flag .
Byumasexual: A sexual orientation term for those who experienced some kind of trauma during the “awakening” of their sexual attractoin/orientation (for example: when one first starts to date or gets curious about their own sexual orientation). Due to this trauma, the concept or idea of “sexual attraction” is a very confusing subject to them. These individuals might have a basic idea of their orientation (”I know I am not straight” or “I know I am not gay”) but beyond that, it is a mystery. People who identify as Byumasexual might have a history of “cycling” through different sexual orientation terms, attempting to find a term that they feel comfortable with (the “light bulb moment”).
This term is a more specific version of unthenalsexual. This term is NOT an excuse to not see professional help if you’re experiencing negative physical and/or mental health symptoms. If this is negatively interferring with your day-to-tday life, please seek out the proper professional.
Questioning is not a term these people feel comfortable with. One reason could be that it feels too “superficial”. Another reason could be that they feel like questioning is a “transitioning” term.
Byumasexual could easily be connected to caedosexual (believing trauma made you no longer experience sexual attraction), implasexual (Someone who feels they are never quite sure of their sexual orientation due to self doubt or anxiety), or pomosexual (believing there is no current term within the LGBT/MOGAI community that fits you, but there might be in the future).
This term was created by combining a greek word with an old norse word. It’s pronounced “bee-you-ma-sexual”. The colors were based on the ideas of “trauma”, “{re}birth”, and “sexuality”.
This flag was made as a simplified version of the Byumasexual flag since the initial design could be difficult to create into pride gear
[Image description: A 7-striped flag with the colors very pale orange, light orange, orange, yellow, green, teal, and black. End ID]
A flag for those with both bipolar disorder (I & II) and OCD. The colors are inspired by the black, yellow, and white bipolar flag and the orange and green OCD flag.
So the 3rd and 4th stripes ended up almost the exact same color (one is slightly more purple than the other), but i promise there’s two stripes there ^^’
hi! yeah, sorry i never got a message about that! i honestly don’t know of any migraine friendly pan flag variants, and i’m not really sure where to begin looking for them.
i’d offer to make some, but i don’t know what it is exactly you’re looking for. if it’s like lower saturation, lower contrast, lower brightness, or a complete change in color shade altogether. if you could let me know what of those things you need, or send me an example of migraine friendly colors (or a different queer flag that is migraine friendly) that i could use as inspiration, i could try to make some for you.
also, if anyone knows of migraine friendly pan flags, please send them my way!
Here’s one I found?
Ah, it got eaten then (I was anon, I am very very shy)
That one is okay! But honestly, the flag colors in general have always been very hard on my eyes. I often make my own flags for my genders because of this, even though all I have is MS paint. I really do wish flag creators would show their flags to someone w/a migraine disorder to make sure their flags won’t trigger migraines, because I often cannot even LOOK at the pan flag without being in pain (I feel it prickling in my frontal lobes at this very second ugh)
Honestly, something that shfits the colors a little would probably be easier. A shade of yellow shifted towards orange, a blue shifted towards green or purple, pink towards purple or red – I’m not sure. I think it’s color contrasting plus bright colors and shades that gets me
Here are two flags for other labels I use that I find really easy to look at
Nebularomantic flag
Genderhoarder flag
Thank you so, so much. I just hate not being able to look at my own flag! 😦
okay so i took a stab at making some flags for you. idk how helpful they are, though.
[Image Description: a variant of the pan flag; strawberry pink, orangey yellow, and slightly dark teal. End Description.]
[Image Description: a variant of the pan flag; muted rose, pale yellow, and cerulean. End Description.]
[Image Description: a variant of the pan flag; muted red, muted yellow, and muted indigo. End Description.]
[Image Description: a variant of the pan flag; bubblegum pink, muted yellow, and teal. End Description.]
if these aren’t helpful (or aren’t helpful and aesthetically pleasing), please feel free to let me know about any adjustments that could be made or if you like some parts of different flags and i could like combine those parts or something.
i don’t mind doing some trial and error so we can create you a pan flag you can look at without being in pain.
Oh, I really like the first and the last ones especially! Though, with the first, the teal in it needs a little toning down – muted slightly, or maybe a little more green thrown in to dull the brightness of the blue. The strawberry red and the orangey-yellow are fine as they are, though!
Thank you so, so much for your help on this. I do not have the tools to do this myself, as I don’t know how to use anything other than ms paint, and I have not had much luck in finding anything
okay so i adjusted the teal (which now that i’m looking more closely at it, might’ve been more turquoise than teal in the first place) from the first flag to make it more green and a little muted:
[Image Description: a variant of the pan flag; strawberry pink, orangey yellow, and muted green teal. End Description.]
and you’re welcome! i like doing this sort of stuff. i’m just sorry you haven’t had a pan flag to use that isn’t painful. i don’t see migraine friendly flag designs talked about much, so thank you for really making me aware of it.
YES THIS ONE IS PERFECT, I love it so much!!! Thank you, finally I can use my own flag without risking a migraine
Migraine friendly flag designs are something I would absolutely love to see, because bright and constrasting colors are EXTREMELY common in design. I am trigender, and I had to redesign the trigender flag simply because I literally couldn’t look at it without risking a reaction. And as someone without editing skills, it took like 1-2 days messing with ms paint to do it
I would love if people would check with someone with a migraine disorder for sensitivity when they made flags, but sadly it’s not something that I’ve seen considered or talked about. This is a disibility and accessibility issue – migraines are a neurological disorder. I have migraine with aura, which is rarer than normal migraine and can often have stroke-like symptoms like numbness, weakness, and visual disturbances. It’s extremely painful and unplesant and I get them 3+ times a week, so I’d like to definitely avoid triggers in safe spaces such as queer communities
I’d like to offer myself for migraine sensitivity checks, if anyone finds that they want to design or frequently design flags
Again, thank you. I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this!
Trandrogyne (trangi): describing a transversed androgyne; feeling your gender androgyny is tied to transverseness/transversality; or relatively mixing a travestic androgynous gender experience (transvestic in the sense that your lingender identity is a result of transversion).
Similar to transdrogynous and genderpunk. Mixing tra- with androgyne.

fat/chubby girls look good in any shape no matter if they have curves or not!!!!

Beside each descriptor is a checkmark and some stylized hearts.
Mesi AroAce or Mesi AceAro: both mesi aromantic and mesi asexual; refers to someone who is on the aroace spectrum (both ace and aro spectrums) but is not completely suptiliaroace (suptilic aroace, suptiliaro/suptiliace).
It’s not necessarily amplusic/amplus-spec, as mesial means non-suptilic/non-strictly. Coined by @gendertherapist. -Ap
A label for an aromantic who feels that amatonormativity isolates them from humanity/society as a whole and causes them to identify/connect more with animals and/or nature. Created with allosexual, neurodivergent, nonbinary, aplatonic, and loveless aromantics in mind, but any aromantic person can use this. (Including those on aromantic spectrum.)
This is not meant to be a gender label, but it can be used in place of one if you feel so inclined. (But may I suggest the lovely term arogender?) This term is similar to the concept of voidpunk but made specifically with a connection to animals and/or nature and is for aros only. The white triangles on the flag can represent whatever you want them to. I created them to represent fangs but they’re versatile.
The name is a play on the word “aril.” An aril is a certain kind of seed covering, and is notably found in fruits like pomegranates and lychees. To make this term metaphorical, the aromantic person is the seed and the aril represents amatonormativity. It prevents the aro from expressing their authentic self and relating to society. (Also, arils can create structures called “false fruit” which is very cool.)
Of course yes. For example, I feel I’m demiagenderstatic, as in one part of my identity is entirely static and null/absent (agender/genderless)/devoid (gendervoid/apogender), fluxing between libragender, magiagender, etc. The other part is likely panzerogender (meaning it’s fluid but always there, even if negatively (negatrois)).
A flux gender representing creativity- an identity that is unable to be described using standard means of femininity and masculinity. Enderflux people might feel several genders at once, or may feel a complete lack of gender. Though originally inspired by the androgyny and creativity of the Endermen characters from Minecraft, it is not directly linked to it.
Color meanings:
Black: Identifying with a lack of gender
Purple: Gender Fluidity
White: Identifying with more than one gender
Green: Non-conformity to the gender binary
Magenta: Creativity and abnormality
[Image ID: A flag with 7 horizontal stripes. The top two and bottom two stripes are of equal thickness, the third and fifth stripes are thinner, and the fourth stripe is the thinnest. From top to bottom, the colors are black, deep purple, white, dark teal, white, magenta, and black. End ID.]
Fluiaginic, a combination of fluialuinic and giarinic, is an umbrella term for any sexuality that includes any attraction to any fluid genders, genderless-aligned genders or agiaspec, a combination of them, fluctuating genders, agiaspec or agenrine related genders, or a combination of them, gender-changing or genderspike, angerine-aligned genders or agingenders, or a combination of them, or fluidity or fluid presentation, agenrinity or agenrine presentation, or a combination of the both.
The colours on the flag represent:
Dark Blue: All sexualities that involve attraction to fluid genders, agiaspec genders, or a combination of them both
Ash Blue-ish Purple: All sexualities that involve attraction to fluctuating genders, agiaspec or agenrine related genders, or a combination of them both
Dark Violet: All sexualities that involve attraction to gender-changing or genderspike, angerine/genderless aligned genders, or a combination of them both
Violet: All sexualities that involve attraction to fluid presentation, angerine presentation, or a combination of them both
Light Pink: All sexualities that involve attraction to fluidity or gender-changing as a whole, angerine or agiaspec as a whole, or a combination of them both as a whole.
The flag is also a combination of the fluialuinic flag and the muialtuinic flag.
That makes sense totally. Would you be boyflux as well?
You could be demisuptilian (suptiliboy) with the other part being genderliquid (fluix). Look this. Maybe gendergaz is the spectrum. Or gendersublime be more specific.
That makes sense to me because the majority of my genderedness is static and flux, while the genderlessness is more fluid but stable.
“ADHDgender, also known as addgender, is a neurogender which can only be understood in the context of having ADHD, or when one’s ADHD greatly affects one’s gender or how one experiences gender. ADHDgender is not ADHD as a gender, but rather is a gender so heavily influenced by ADHD that one’s ADHD and one’s experience of gender cannot be unlinked.”
ADHDgender is an exclusive identity – only people with ADHD can use it. However, not everyone with ADHD uses it or has to use it.
“Acrophobian is a xenogender and neurogender connected to the fear of heights. One’s gender may be affected by this fear and this term can be used on its own or with others.”
gender punk nonbinary flag! i have a few other color options, but i like this one best. feel free to use! just try to credit xoxo [description: the nonbinary flag with 4 stripes. from top to bottom, they’re muted red, white, muted purple, and black]
Hi! I’ve made a flag for pomo- + unlabeled/non-labeling pride! Here are some of the color meanings: Pink is for rejecting labels, orange is for freedom, white is for freshness, green is for not fitting in a label and purple is for different ways of perceiving your orientation and/or gender. I really don’t want people to feel restricted by these meanings tho, so you can interpret the colors the way you want to!!! I’ve picked the colors from the unlabeled flag made by @lwtroses (used to be on Twitter) and also from the pomo- flags posted in here https://pride-color-schemes.tumblr.com/post/146935072870/pomo. You can contact me on my twitter (preferably), it’s @SOULGMATE. I also own the account “wmblog” here on Tumblr but I’ve not been very active so maybe I wont see your response…
here’s another fun fact: asexual does not mean nonsexual.
asexuals’ relationship with sex and sexual attraction tends to be….complicated. there’s a bit of an idea of like, oh of course, you’re either sex-favorable, sex-neutral, or sex-repulsed, but honestly i see a LOT of discussion about how wildly different those can each look for each individual. some people are comfortable with some acts in very specific contexts, and deeply upset by them in all others. some people find certain forms of nonsexual intimacy (like kissing) to still be off-limits, while something most people might consider more charged (like nudity) is totally fine. a lot of us just kind of have a long laundry list like “this is fine, this isn’t, that one’s okay, that one’s always off-limits….” because the big secret is that “sex” isn’t really any cohesive act as much as a lot of little things that people just threw together and called one thing.
as for attraction: some aces are actually attracted to other people once in a blue moon, and simply don’t want to clarify that every time. some aren’t entirely sure, but don’t want to spend their whole lives guessing. some ARE completely sure they never have and never will feel an attraction.
at the end of the day, much like any label, this single word really doesn’t tell you much of anything about what a person is actually like unless you bother to ask them what it means to them.
Kinsexual, can also be called Kinromantic, is a sexual and / or romantic orientation that’s exclusive to Otherkin beings, it may be related to ones kintype, being alterhuman / non-human identity or anything to do with being Otherkin
The kinsexual experience is different for everyone. Some examples of what kinsexual people may experience are:
a fluctuating aro-spec or ace-spec identity depending on ones kins (Kinaceflux / Kinaroflux)
attracted to other alterhumans / otherkinfolk (Medusan / Otherkinnian)
a change in sexual attraction when they experience a shift (Kinshiftsexual)
This identity is exclusive to Otherkin beings, as their experience with attraction my differ from humans
it is unknown if this term was previously known, but the current wiki definition was made on May 12, 2021 by tumblr user icarusoblivion
the Kinsexual flag were made on the same day by the same user, it was designed to resemble the Kingender flag
so i’m about to start coining some specific forms of enbian attraction, so to do that i feel like the typical attraction abbreviations we use (wlw, mlm, nblnb, etc.) need to be expanded to show more diversity among non-binary identities so here are my ideas!
🌻
FNB– any feminine non-binary genders (for example: FNBLW- a fingender non-binary person who is attracted to women)
🌻
MNB– any masculine non-binary genders (for example: MNBLM- a mingender non-binary person who is attracted to men)
🌻
UNB– any unaligned non-binary genders (for example: UNBLW- an unaligned non-binary person who is attracted to women)
🌻
NNB– any neutral-aligned/neutral non-binary genders (for example: NNBLM- a neutral/neutral-aligned non-binary person who is attracted to men)
🌻
WNB– non-binary women (this includes girlbies, xirls, and multigender people who are both non-binary and women) for example: WNBLW- a non-binary woman who is attracted to women
🌻
GNB– non-binary men (this includes menbies, xoys, and multigender people who are both non-binary and men; the g stands for guy since m is already taken for MNB)
🌻
so these could work for anything too, and could also work in combination, so here are some more examples where they could be used to describe specific enbian forms of attraction:
🌻
MNBLWNB– any masculine/masculine-aligned non-binary person who is attracted to non-binary women
🌻
NNBLFNB– any neutral/neutral-aligned non-binary person who is attracted to feminine/feminine-aligned non-binary people
🌻
GNBLUNB– any non-binary man who is attracted to unaligned non-binary people
if you’re non-binary and are interested in greater specificity in terms of non-binary attraction labels, pls pls lmk what you think of these ideas! i personally think they’re pretty cool, but if they’re a bit too complicated and difficult to interpret, that’s okay and i’d love to work with ppl to come up with something that works best 😀
:
Introducing…
Fucksexual!
– Fucksexual is when you have no fucking idea what your sexual orientation is but it sure is there! This is a label for when no other motherfucker fits you, whether you’re capable of sexual attraction or not. Whether or not you have an actual label as well. You can be attracted to one gender, two, or all. Go feral, I’m not here to tell you who you’re attracted to- I’m just here to tell you you’re confused as fuck and here for the ride!
– This sexuality is NOT to be used by p/do’s n gross people like that!! That is not what this sexuality means!! It’s like Questioning but more specific.
Last full week of pride month and we are discussing some of the deeper societal issues that affect many LGBTQIA+ people, but we’re specifically focusing on how they affect aces and aros!
We spent much of last week talking about racism, and if you’d like more on that you can check out the presentation we did at Creating Change this year on race and aspec identity: https://taaap.org/2021/02/21/race-and-aspec-identity/
[ID: Two light green images with the TAAAP logo in the upper right and black text. The first image has an image of two golden rings, and the text reads “Amatonormativity. quote, the assumptions that a central, exclusive, amorous relationship is normal for humans, in that it is a universally shared goal, and that such a relationship is normative, in that it should be aimed at in preference to other relationship types. End quote, Elizabeth Brake, Minimizing Marriage 2012.” The second image shows a drawing of a red broken heart, and the text reads “Effects of Amatonormativity. Creates a focus on romance above all other interpersonal bonds or attractions. Puts romantic love on a pedestal as the ultimate or only universal good. Part of the underpinning of patriarchy, capitalism, and queerphobia. Centers and upholds the institution of monogamy (though non-monogamous relationships can be amatonormative as well.)” End ID.]
it’s so sad that I remember seeing closeted and coming out flags, by that duwang-flags-inc blog, but I can’t find anymore. they are lost. unless someone can access it and gimme a link/URL >:)
[Image description – Images of the trans, genderfluid, genderqueer, intersex, bi, lesbian, ply, rainbow, asexual and aromantic pride flags with the text: CLOSETED BUT NOT ASHAMED. End description.]
OP, what’s the difference between DFAB and AFAB? /gq
In terms of identity and denoting, it’s just a personal thing. In some places of the Earth, the word assigned (A) isn’t used that much. While designation (D) connotes more corporeally (medical), assignment connotes more juridically (philosophical). Then one is biopolitical and the other sociopolitical.
This is important to note as some intersex people were assigned one thing while biologically pertaining to a corner/side of the bimodal sex spectrum. At the same time, altersex people can struggle with self-determination and terminology. A post-HRT trans* folk can reject the fact that they are MtF/AMAB or FtM/AFAB, for example. Think also about eunuchs and gender socialization.
Shoutout to disabled people who don’t have a clear diagnosis, who might never have a clear diagnosis, mentally ill people who can’t get diagnosed due to finances, anxiety, trauma or family issues and Everyone struggling to get a diagnosis.
You are not alone and your illness is real even if it doesn’t have a name!! This month is about you too!
Midnight Sapphic: A term for sapphics who are reclaiming their identity as someone who is often left out of sapphic discussion, is “fought” over, or is rarely visible. Midnight sapphics may or may not feel a disconnect from their regular sapphic identity/community because of this. Can also be used by sapphics who want to show support and solidarity with these groups!
For the stripe meanings, the outer stripes are meant to represent night time/dusk, the inner stripes represent self identification and pride, and the middle stripe represents the moon! These flags can also just be used as an aesthetic difference to the main sapphic flag, so long as you’re supportive of all sapphics. (Maybe you’re just a nocturnal being who likes girls, y’know?)
A gender heavily connected to the analog horror genre and works in it, such as Local58 and Gemini Home Entertainment, along with VHS tapes in general.
A gender that feels vague and distorted, possessing traits of uncertainty and tension. Something’s off, but you can’t quite tell what. This gender is linked to a fondness for old media formats, feeling low-quality and worn out. It’s grounded in feeling out of place and seeing the world – and/or perhaps one’s state of self – in a slightly skewed, difficult to understand manner. There’s an implacable fuzzy warmness to Analogender, one of channel-surfing late at night, but it’s tainted with the suspicion that it might not be what it seems. This gender finds comfort in the strange, the odd, the old, and the uncanny.
a mascfem gender related to fluffy cats and fruit gummies!!
color meanings:
the green stripes represent a connection to gummy candies, and the yellow stripes represent a connection to fluffy cats!! the center stripe is half pink and half blue to represent the mascfem nature of this gender. the symbol is a mix of a gummy candy and the catgender symbol.
Passioporr: A gender related to hardcore gay porn, bondage, the dom/sub kink (from any side), mlm + nlm + mln + nln attraction of any kind, and lust.
Passiporr: A gender related to softer gay porn, pillow talk, ‘softer’/’more romantic’ kinks (being overly complimented, soft physical touch, etc.), mlm + nlm + mln + nln attraction of any kind, and lust.
Passiopor comes from Passió, the Catalan word for “object of passionate love or strong interest” and porr, the Swedish word for porn
Passipor comes from Passi from Passió
the Catalan word for “object of passionate love or strong interest” and porr, the Swedish word for porn
These don’t have any color meanings, since I just kinda… made them and thought they looked cool…
Don’t really have any ideas for pronouns atm, might post later if I think of something
Definition: A nonbinary gender identity that cannot be contained by human understandings of gender; more concerned with crafting other methods of gender categorization and hierarchy such as those relating to animals, plants, or other creatures/things. It’s mainly an umbrella term for genders with themes such as nouns, archetypes, synesthetic experiences, neurodivergences.
Are xenogenders serious? Usually, yes. (But at the same time… What if they aren’t? To be fair, being trans/nonbinary doesn’t always have to be this imagined experience of constant suffering. We’re allowed to describe our lived experience of gender in flowery ways, too!)
Do xenogenders hurt real trans people? No, but if you’re asking this question, I want to ask one in return – What are you defining as a “real” trans person? Is someone only really trans/nonbinary if they can pass? Or have dysphoria? Or get surgery? Or are accepted by cis people? It’s important to understand that what one might think of when they think “real trans person” might be rooted in excluding a majority of the trans population.
But MOGAI genders/xenogenders/neolabels are why people don’t take us seriously! Trying to blame other people who’re trying to find terms to describe their gender/orientation/etc is a slippery slope, and trying to guilt people back into the closet to appease cishet people is never going to work. We do not exist to be palatable to them. This line of thinking is extremely dangerous, and it’s been applied to every other identity. As a community, we need to stand together against transphobia and it’s actual cause: Transphobes.
While xenogenders can be hard to understand at first, these terms are coined because someone out there was genuinely struggling to find a label that felt fitting, and found that their actual life experience couldn’t be described accurately by more common descriptors like “male,” “female,” “neutral,” and that describing their experience by relating it to something else truly helped them! Sometimes this will be things that seem “silly,” like media, aesthetics, and other unique things.
You may not understand how something can be a gender, and that’s okay! Sometimes we won’t be able to completely understand an experience because it’s one we will never have, and that doesn’t mean that the experience is invalid. It’s just how being a human works!
