Hi!! so me and my friends were talking about this the other day about how there aren’t any genders like this yet. so we coined one!
so it’s called shipgender. Or shippinggender. It doesn’t really matter so much on the name tbh bcuz it’s more like a group of genders than a gender itself. but basically the idea is that if you feel like your gender is related to a ship pairing then you’re shipgender!
so that might be a little confusing so I’m gonna explain it a bit more. so let’s say for an example you start getting into danganronpa. you play the first game and you’re like wow I really love the pair kyouko and makoto togther I totally ship them! and then like you get into fanfic and fanart and all that good fandom stuff. and then you realize that maybe it’s not so much that you just like shipping these characters…. maybe you look at this ship and realize that’s you?? like that’s your gender. right there. so then your shipgender would be called naegirigender since the kyouko x makoto pairing is called naegiri.
Myr- is a prefix defined as experiencing multiple labels amongst the related attraction spectrum; commonly, aromantic & asexual spectrums. This can be simultaneously, or fluidly. The original posts have been lost to time, but this is the closest to a original coiner and flag creator link that exists.
Myralterous individuals experience multiple alterous attraction sublabels! A myralterous person might be demialterous and fictoalterous at the same time.
Myrplatonic individuals experience multiple platonic attraction sublabels! A myrplatonic person might be frayalterous and cupioalterous fluidity.
Myraesthetic individuals experience multiple aesthetic attraction sublabels! A myraesthetic person might be requialterous and nebulaaesthetic (nebulaesthetic?) at the same time.

This term describes fluidity between regisgenders (kinggender, regisgender, and queengender). However, it is a very small scope of all the existing related genders.
Regalibere is a connection to royalty always, but the specific role or title is fluid (prince, queen, duke, etc). This is closer, but royalfluid is not tied to specific posts in a monarchy, just the nebulous feeling of power or royalty.
Introduced Term: Royalfluid
It’s simply fluidity between any and all royal related genders. This can be for any reason: changing in gender alignments (calngender when neutral or nonbinary, queengender when feminine or woman-aligned, etc); age regression (princegender when feeling younger but kinggender when feeling older); shifting alliances to different deities in particular (stolaic when dealing more with Stolan, asmodaic when dealing more with Asmodai, paimonic when dealing more with Paimon, etc). It can also be modified to Royalflux & Royalfluidflux depending on one’s experiences. (If anyone would want specific coining posts & flags for these, feel free to send an ask or message.)
For the flag, everything’s quite understandable. Purple and gold are both colors associated with royalty, as purple dye and precious metals are quite expensive. The wave-like pattern in the middle references the fluidity. The specific crown design was chosen as it is not complex and is not particularly feminine or masculine. Conveniently, both purple and yellow are classic nonbinary colors (see: the nonbinary flag).

Placturic: desiring a platonic relationship with a crush/developing a want for platonic relationship with someone as a crush of sorts.
Meshplatonic: Developing relationships that are a little deeper and more connected than simply platonic, but are certainly not romantic. Could be used for people who want to spend a happy, familial life together but more as friends than anything else.

Maybe a subtype of familial attraction? Siblingly attraction (fraternal/sororal).
So next set of information, for culture genders, is hijra! This is a term in India and Pakistan (but mostly associated with India) for a gender and gender role. In Western places, hijra would be considered trans women, but in India and Pakistan they are considered a separate category. Similar to Two-Spirit, hijra fill a spiritual role, usually asked to do blessings, perform weddings, help with childbirth, etc. Before colonization from Britain, hijra were highly respected in society. After that point, they were discriminated against as evil deviants, and it is only more recently that hijras are being properly respected again (for instance, with India recognizing hijra as a third separate gender from woman and man in recent times!). Here are links for further reading, but I warn you, there can be some problematic wordings/topics in these. It’s hard to find good unbiased sources in English (and even in my native lanugauge anyways). So these are the best that I could find, that I feel are closest to being a good explaination for hijra Link and link.
Before I continue, I wish to emphasize the fact that hijra are separate from other trans people. Even if in Western places they see hijra and trans women as the same, in place like India they would be considered completely different due to the societal/religious roles that many hijra are expected to do. Hijra are being given more rights and recognition, but unfortunately the same is not being done for trans women and trans men in India! Some people are trying to push for hijra to be a term for trans in general, but I feel that this is not appropriate (again, hijra are meant to be different from trans women in that they have a societal/religious roles specific to hijras). Link, link, and link, these are articles that further explain the situations with hijra and trans people.
The flag I have made here is based on Ardhanarishvara. A deity that is a combination of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati, thus Ardhanarishvara is literally half-man, and half-woman. Many hijra such as myself identify with Ardhanarishvara because of the gender ambiguty, since they are neither of the two big genders. The pinkish background is also meant to be ambigous, looking like a pink or dark red depending on how you look at it (not sure if this makes sense, sorry!). The head shape with one half white and one half greenish is meant to represent Ardhanarishvara (the white half is Lord Shiva, green half is Parvati, light green middle is Ardhanarishvara themselves). The yellow ring near their neck is meant to be a necklace, in India necklaces are usually worn for protection and good luck. So in a way I wanted this to represent protection for hijras.

Next for culture gender, sworn virgins! Also known as Balkan sworn virgins (they are usually associated with Albania, but the tradition of sworn virgins exists in one form or another in most Balkan countries), and burrnesha in Albanian specifically. In essence, if a AFAB person wants to have the same rights and status as a man, or otherwise feel that they identity much more as a man, they would opt to being sworn virgins. As the name implies, they undergo a vow of celibacy in order to identify as a sworn virgin, and be treated as a man. For once, this is a case where the Wikipedia article for a culture gender has a lot more useful information that you would probably find in order websites (At least for English information).
As mentioned in the article, there are various motivations for someone choosing to identify as a sworn virgin. Some come from households where there were no boys, and so the family had no one else to give proper inhieritance to. Some want to avoid marriage (either to be able to marry women (sworn virgins can still marry, just not have sex), or just to avoid romance/sex in general), while others are trans men who use a cultural role in order to be allowed to transition safely. On that note, in general some sworn virgins would still go by she/her pronouns, while those who become sworn virgins to transition safely (such as myself) prefer he/him pronouns. As with trans/nb people in general, it’s always better to ask than to assume!
Unlike most culture genders, sworn virgins are an identity that is decreasing in numbers in modern times. This is because the main motivation for identifying as a sworn virgin was to gain the same rights as men (Not for ritual or religious purposes as with other culture genders). Since women are gaining more rights as time goes on in the Balkan countries, sworn virgins are being considered less and less. Still! There is a bit of a resurgence to this identity, mostly as an option for trans men or masculine-aligned nonbinary (? Not sure how to say) to be able to transition safely. Not to mention, it has being particularly help for asexual/ace spectrum trans/nb men (due to the vow of celibacy), which includes me and the other burrneshas in our chat that help me make this flag!
This flag that we have made, the background is the trans man flag (since now we feel that burrnesha has become an identity mostly similar to trans man). The two head black eagle is a symbol found throughout the Balkan countries and their histories. The flower the eagle holds with its wings is a red poppy, a national flower of Albania and associated with Balkans in general (though it is commonly found throughout Europe). We mean for it as a sort of symbol of blooming forth into our true selves, as trans men, while the eagle is meant to be our pride in being Balkan and being able to continue an ancient tradition!

this is for femminiello! this is a culture gender from italy, specially from naples. it is somewhat similar to a trans woman or a gay man, but honestly i see it as a very distinct category from those two! we are usually amab (that is the phrase used in english, yes?) who are very feminine. they may use she/her or he/him pronouns, but either way, a femminiello will see themselves as a femminiello, not a woman or man! femminiello are often seen as very lucky, being invited to weddings or bingo parties (i have to admit, ive been to a few of them!). also sometimes we get invited to certain religious ceremonies, again for good luck and bcause femminiello are seen as necessary for some events.
femminiello in italy are highly respected compared to regular trans people (both trans men and trans women), while the others are looked down on. it is similar to hijra, where femminiello are favored because of their cultural significance at the expense of trans women and trans men, unfortunately! though, even then there are always people who will disrespect femminiello just as much or more than trans people.

for the flag, me and other femminiello agreed to just keep it simple. it is the italian flag, with the top half being made more pastel (and with the white in the middle being more pink). pastel and pink are usually related to femininity, so we thought itd be appropriate for our identity!

So I mentioned before that, to make flags for people that are a combination of solarian, stellarian, and/or lunarian that I would ‘fuse’ the flags together to get the colors of choice.

Along the same lines of the lunarian one I’ve redesigned the solarian ones to remove the blue and TO instead select colors associated with the sun (red and orange, another option was purple but i decided to try red and orange first)
The first is very bright while the second is more muted and the last is a more orange option.
So a number of people didn’t like the use of pink/red hues to represent lunarian so I did some research and found that the colors white, green, orange, and yellow are typically associated with the moon.
I decided to avoid the warmer colors and went with a more ‘cream-orange’ & green idea but I personally also associate the moon with blue so I decided to put that in too (though I’m not a big fan of the way to top color looks)
Edit: whoops just realized I used the wrong shade of gray in the first one, it’s supposed to be a shade lighter! Sorry!
These were all the proposed flags that I came up with based on color symbolism found in other pride flags.
Colors shared: Yellow: represents the nonbinary nature of all of the genders associated with these flags Black: represents everyone that has no gender Gray: the varying degrees in which people can experience gender.

Green: stellarian (green was chosen because it represents “gender that is best defined as not male, not female, and not mix of female and male”)
Purple: a mix between solarian and lunarian (an anon @enby-positivity suggested calling it solunarian)
Orange: a mix between lunarian and stellarian (stellunarian)
Aquamarine: a mix between solarian and stellarian (I don’t think this one has a name yet?)
Signs and symbols:
I chose the basic sol and luna symbol and for stellarian I chose a cluster of basic stars. For the mixed genders I just fused each one together in different ways.

i reblogged a post about gender alignment in the nonbinary spectrum here but i’m gonna copy the gist of it anyway:
Stellarian: With as many possible identities and presentations as there are stars in the sky, a Stellar Nonbinary Person, or Stellarian, would be someone who does not experience strong alignment with either binary gender, or who rejects such alignment.
Solarian: In many cultures and religious systems, the sun is associated with masculinity, and male energy. As a result, a Solar Nonbinary Person, or Solarian, would be someone who has similarities in identity or experience with men. The term functions as a less easily abused form of “male aligned.”
Lunarian: In equally many cultures, where the sun is man, the moon is woman and feminine energy. As a result, a Lunar Nonbinary Person, or Lunarian, would be someone who has similarities in identity or experience with women. It functions as a less easily abused term for “female aligned.”
I am willing to hear any other ideas for updated designs or different color ideas! I kind of themed them after the diamoric/sapphic/achilliean flags (though I did think about doing one with 5 stripes after the trans/demigender flags) let me know!
Just because I thought it was interesting I decided to make my own stellarian flag! I’m on my phone though so it doesn’t satisfy my aesthetic taste perfectly but it was really fun to make so I wanted to share 🙂 I really liked your first stellarian one too!
So I saw the suggestions for updated concepts so i put together a couple of ideas for people to look at and if they like either one of them I will go ahead and make similar versions in blue (for solarian) and yellow (for stellarian).
So here are my two attempts! I would love to hear which one people like more!
A) A simple version with pink symbolizing the feminine aspects of being lunarian, white for those with no gender, and gray for those with partial gender
B) Same as above but with a darker pink at the top and a darker gray at the bottom to represent the different ‘amounts’ of being lunarian that a person can experience
C) the other idea I had (which I didn’t make a concept of I’m sorry!) would be to have the lines go yellow (to represent that these are all nonbinary genders) pink, white, gray, and a darker gray (to still represent that gradient)
so please let me know if you like A, B or the idea of C better! thank you!

Despair gender is a gender heavily influenced by the Danganronpa series’ despair. Those with despair gender may also be influenced by their kins. This gender has absolutely no hope and is instead filled to the brim with despair
Cowboy-gender: This gender is characterized by a love of animals, the outdoors, country music, and caring for others. This gender is associated with rustic aesthetics, antiques, freshly baked biscuits, manual labor, and wide open spaces.

i’d been thinking about terms like these for a bit, and an anon asked if they existed, so i figured i’d coin them!
the terms ‘solarian’ and ‘lunarian’ encompass a wide spectrum of related identities; these terms fit under solarian and lunarian for those who want to further specify their alignment, as not all masc-aligned people are man-aligned, and the same for fem-aligned and woman-aligned!

artemian: describes someone who is fem(inine)-aligned. this includes partially fingendered folks, those who are connected to femininity (with or without actually being fingender), someone whose gender experiences are similar to fingendered people, etc. a subset of lunarian.
A gender relating to or about the subfamily Dromaeosaurinae, a theropod group including members such as *Utahraptor*, *Velociraptor* or *Deinonychus*. This gender has a springing sensation of boundless energy to explore and form connections similar to modern day flocks of parrots and corvids.
Can be used as a xenogender, a kingender, neurogender or just when you feel connected to a bunch of objectively radical, feathery dinosaur.
Sorry, but I’m not going to describe all of those images. I can say there are 9 different images, and all of those are some variation of flags divided between one uniform part and another part with three stripes. And most of them don’t look that great 😛
Demifluid/demigenderfluid: When one part of your gender is static, but the other is fluid.
I don’t remember all the color meanings, to be honest. The uniform part is meant to represent the solid gender, while the striped part is meant to represent the fluid part.
Sometimes I use blue to mean gender, since there are as many possibilities of genders as there are drops in the blue ocean. Sometimes I use gray as fluidity, but that could also be uncertainty.
Context: My datemate is demifluid, and they don’t like the available flags very much. I tried to design some according to what they said they weren’t liking, but in the end none of them was good enough for them.
If you have any idea, I can remake or redefine some of those for demifluid or for a demifluid related identity!
Hyperfixgender: A gender that fluctuates or morphs depending on the person’s current hyperfixation (or lack thereof). People with ADHD are most likely to experience this gender.

Ranaegender: A gender that relates to frogs. The gender may be jumpy, hard to pin down or catch onto in nature. It might capture other smaller genders (flies) and incorporate those little genders into itself. It might multiply into multiple label hoarding umbrella terms. ‘Ranae’ is latin for the word frog.
Ex. Ranaegender may come in the form of the identity ‘Nonbinary’. This identity might encompass lots of more specific identities, and these smaller identities will morph to create one huge gender.

haikugender: a serene gender with three collected components. these can be masculine, feminine, and a third gendered, neutral/nonbinary component, or a different collection such as masculine, neutral, and xenic parts. they each stand on their own, but come together to make something bigger. the gender feels light, poetic and peaceful.
from the poetry form of haiku, which consists of three lines with five, seven, and five syllables. the three lines come together to make the full poem, just as the three parts come together to make the full experience of this gender.
the pink, yellow, and blue sections each represent one component, each with different shades because there may be different levels and feelings to each component as well. the colors could correspond to feminine, neutral, and masculine experiences respectively but that isn’t inherent!
orion-: an orientation in which one cannot distinguish between romantic and platonic feelings in the absence of sexual attraction, because their sexual and romantic attractions are intrinsically linked. due to their neurodivergence, this may be difficult to parse or understand, especially in situations where one is not free to explore their sexual attraction.
simply put – when an orion individual does not experience sexual attraction (or is unable to determine whether or not sexual attraction is felt due to inability to explore this possibility freely), they are unable to determine whether or not the strong emotions they feel towards another person are romantic, or platonic, in nature. this is because the orion individual’s feelings of romantic attraction are so deeply intertwined with their sexual attraction that they are unable to disconnect the two.
aeregender: you don’t know what your gender is, but you have a vague idea.

going between, or experiencing concurrently, masculine femininity and feminine masculinity. you might experience both at the same time, or you’re gender fluid between these two states. you might be a he/him girl and a she/her boy depending on your state. contrary because your expression and identity are always contradictory to one another on the gender spectrum, on opposite ends basically right? im not sold on the name and i may change it and amend this sometime in the future, but that’s what i have for now.
here’s a softer recolor i did of one of the more prominent bigender flags! the original was a bit eye-straining, especially with the bright yellow in the second stripe, and i also just really like the softer caramel color scheme here!

Panmonogender – A fluid gender where you identify as any gender at any given time. However, you only feel comfortable with being seen and/or referred to as one gender. Similar to genderfae/genderfaun in the way that you want to be seen as “one” gender, but still fluid between all.

Valentines gender is a gender heavily influenced by the holiday Valentines day. This gender is loving but not necessarily romantic and has themes of accepting yourself and others.
Panlesbi or Bilespan: When you’re bipan- but your attraction leans towards the lesbian side; fluctuating between bi, pan and lesbian; being separately bi-, lesb- and pan- in different forms of attraction (i.e. lesbromantic pansexual bialterous).
Totucgender is a gender identity when you feel 100% like a select
gender all of the time, but you occasionally experience minute amounts
of any different gender(s) on top of that. The gender(s) on top of your
dominant gender, when they’re there, do not change the fact you feel
100% that dominant gender. Although, they do still add on.
Example: You feel 100% like a boy all the time, but you you see that

This gender is mainly centered around relating to mushrooms, crows, and rats, especially connected to rot, decay, and typically ‘dirty’ natural things. I couldn’t find anything like that, so I decided to create my own! I’ve dubbed it dirtgender. The colors mean: Green: Leaves, growth, fresh life Brown: mushrooms, decay, death Black: crows and rats, and other typically “dirty” animals
Instead of being slowly coaxed out, (like how sunlight slowly blooms a flower); this gender stops being static during night time. This is how it ‘blooms.’
Despite this though, it’s not inherently a strong gender. It is fluid.
Noctianthogender does not always have to fit the description above. It can be an aesthetigender, an umbrella term, etc.

1.] What is queeragamic?
Queeragamic was a label that was created in the earlier months of 2020. It was met
with negative responses relatively quickly, and from there, it all slid
downhill. Nowadays, the term is hardly used, but it is still a term that
exists in some small pockets of the aspec community.
Queeragamic means a QPR (queerplatonic relationship) that is nonsexual.
Stems from “queer”, and “-agamic”, a suffix that implies asexual reproduction.
The creator coined it because they were uncomfortable associating with a term that could involve sex, depending on the person using it. Queeragamic can be used alongside queerplatonic, or it can be used on it’s own.
2.] The problems
A. The coining, and responses to criticism.
And lately, “queerplatonic” just hasn’t been feeling right. I think this is
almost entirely because of the resurgence I’ve seen of people saying
queerplatonic relationships can be sexual. And, I mean, that’s valid.
That’s something a big chunk of people in our communities have decided
is a thing, and a thing that they want. But it also means I’m just… not
comfortable with the term anymore. I know that I could choose to
conceptualize my (future) queerplatonic relationship differently, or
that I can still use the term, but it’s just not resonating with me.
This is from the post coining the word queeragamic. A few things might jump out at you first: Notably, the notion that people “suddenly decided” that qprs could be sexual, as if from thin air, or for no reason. Secondly, the notion that someone is suddenly uncomfortable with a term because it can be sexual is something I can understand as an ace person. However, QPRs are extremely personal, broad, and flexible. Nobody assumes they are inherently sexual, because they aren’t, and they never were. Furthermore, contrary to how it sounds in their post, this… isn’t a new thing. Though, I cannot choose how the OP feels, so it’s not proper criticism on it’s own.
Just as a note:
I’m not going to be answering anymore anon messages from aros who are angry about me using the term queeragamic.
I
don’t know how else to state what I’ve already stated: allosexual
aromantic people are valid. Sexual qprs are valid. Sexual qprs have
always existed. Sexual qprs are not new. Allosexual aromantic people
belong in our communities.
The fact that I don’t want to use a
term that doesn’t resonate with me is not inherently arophobic. And I’m
not going to engage with people who are dedicated to not engaging with
me from a place of good intentions and respect.
#if me expressly and repeatedly validating allosexual aros but still using the term queeragmic #is enough to make you feel that I’m arophobic #then this blog might just not be a good space for you
This is where things turned from bad to worse. Firstly, “not going to be answering from any more angry aro people about using the term queeragamic” says a lot about the coiner. If you make a term, and a group of people say “hey, no, this isn’t cool”, you shouldn’t ignore it, you shouldn’t shut it down, and you should be willing to listen to groups you are not a part of, especially when that group has a history of being mistreated and sectioned-out of aspec terms, by the group youare a part of. The OP of the term did not do this, and instead refused to listen to criticism. Worst part is, they said they’re not going to accept criticism from aros anymore. Not criticism in general- criticism from aros specifically, even though they’re the ones primarily affected by this word, and if anyone should be listened to on the topic, it should be them.
They also note that sexual QPRs have always existed, despite the fact that in their very last post on the matter, they spoke about it as if it were a new phenomenon that we’ve recently decided on.
It’s also worth pointing out that stating “alloaros are valid. alloaros belong in our community” does not mean you can’t be arophobic. Saying things like that is the bare. minimum. of what you should be doing, it is far from the only things you should be doing. Thinking a group is “valid” does not mean you cannot hurt them or do things that harm their community and labels. “Validating” alloaros does not erase the fact that you are being arophobic.
B. The terminology.
“Queeragamic” is a term that is supposed to be for any nonsexual QPR, but evidently, this term was made specifically for asexual people, given it’s suffix. It conflates being ace with not having sex, which isn’t good for multiple reasons. There are ace people who have sex, and allosexual people who do not, but the term quite literally has “-agamic” in it, which means asexual reproduction. It was made for ace people like me, and yet it couldn’t define what being ace is correctly. Reminder: The creator refused to listen to criticism on the term. Even if people brought it up to them, it’s likely they would refuse to even consider it.
(Also, asexual reproduction jokes, ie being “plants” etc., are classic acephobe jokes.)
C. What this means for QPRs.
If people start using queeragamic, a nonsexual term, then people will begin to associate queerplatonic with being inherently sexual in turn. The entire point of queerplatonic is, in part, to not share things like that with other people unless they choose to disclose it. With specific sectioning off in this way, it removes that choice.
This is harmful for every type of aspec person. It breaks queerplatonic into chunks and splits off people based off of how much sex they have. It’s no secret that ace and aro people are currently very divided community wise, largely in part because of the mistreatment of non-ace aros. Things like this will inevitably make it worse, to the point where we can’t even share the term QPR. Ace people like me would likely have to start using this term in order for people to not assume I’m in a sexual QPR, and that is ridiculous. I do not want to share information like that with people, and neither do a lot of other ace people. Even if the term wasn’t obviously made specifically for ace people, if alloaros tried to use queeragamic, they will by definition still have the word asexual applied to them simply because their QPR does not involve sex. Alloaros being branded as ace despite not being so is something they’ve faced for a very long time, and it’s terrible that this is something that would be permissible to happen again.
D. What this means for alloaros.
Why are we specifically making a QPR that doesn’t involve sex? Are we going to make one that doesn’t involve cuddles, one that doesn’t involve kissing, one that doesn’t
involve… anything else? I suspect not. Relationships generally are not structured around what you do in them, as these labels are broad. Furthermore, there are many romantic relationships done by alloaces that involve no sex, and yet the ace community does not seem to mind the idea of using that label. As the term is broad, it simply isn’t necessary. So, why is it when it’s QPRs?
The truth is, queeragamic is a part of a
bigger trend of issues in our community, and we need to talk about it.
Treatment wise, alloaros are “at the bottom of the barrel” in the community, and are mistreated even by other aspec people. Frequently they are “othered” in aspec spaces, or seen as outsiders with minimal support and solidarity with other aspecs due to not being asexual. Creating terms like this, and refusing to listen to the criticism, will harm their community. It is extremely frustrating that some people refuse to listen to the people who have spoken up about it. It speaks volumes when the creator dismisses concerns from an entire group of people for the sake of not changing or removing their new label, and the last thing we should be doing is backing terms and creators that do things like this.
E. The ace case.
I have a very close connection to the term queerplatonic, and I’m sure plenty of other ace people feel the same. It’s been a term the community as a whole has used for a long time now, and it’s used by all kinds of people for all sorts of different relationship structures. Let me make this clear: I do not want to be forced to use queeragamic. I do not want to give up that anonymity. I do not want to tell people how much sex I’m having with my QP based on which label I use. I do not want to use this new label made by a creator dismissive of alloaros, a label that divides me and alloaro people, people in the aspec community like me, who need support more than ever right now.
But, and this should be kinda obvious, if this label became heavily used, people would begin to use queerplatonic for sexual qprs, and queeragamic for the ones that are not. We cannot pretend this wouldn’t happen. I would not have a choice in it. Alloaros wouldn’t have a choice in it either. I am very, very sex repulsed, and I wouldn’t be able to use a term that has been so utterly sexualized and removed from it’s original meaning and anonymity, but there is a very good chance that would happen. It both forces ace people to use another label, and forces alloaros to use a term that is now associated with inherently including sex, even if they never have it.
3.] So… what do we do?
There are multiple things we should do in response to this term being made.
A. We should not use queeragamic.
I do not think we should attack or otherwise harm the creator, but we shouldn’t permit this or platform it. Simply put, we need to keep it out of our spaces. We should not platform ideas that back harmful beliefs already present in our community.
B. We need to go to the source of this.
Queeragamic did not come from thin air. It could be better described as a symptom of existing alloarophobia in the community. In order to keep this from happening again, we need to listen to, and trust, alloaros on their own issues and concerns. We need to communicate and work with them. They may not be ace, but they are still aspec, they are still aro, and they still belong in discussions regarding aspec terms just as much as ace people do. They are not a lesser tier of aspec, they are equal, and we need to weed out things that suggest or support otherwise in our community.
C. Proper education on terminology.
People cannot understand why queeragamic is bad if they do not understand what a QPR is to begin with. We need to talk more about QPRs, need to talk more about the variations within them and teach others what these terms mean.
D. Speaking up.
We need to open dialogues about issues we are facing in the community, and when terms become harmful. We need to stand by our alloaro siblings and help them on things like this. We need to side with them and believe their experiences so that they are not scared to speak up when something is harmful to them. Create a space that is open for discussion and fair criticism.
4.] Epilogue
It is important to note that I will not have gotten everything perfect. I am not alloaro and despite the length of this post, the most valuable discussions come from those the most affected by this term. If I’ve gotten anything wrong, you’re welcome to let me know.
Regardless, I hope this was a decent analysis of the term and it’s issues. I’ve been against it since it’s creation, but I’ve been putting off writing in detail about it for a while now. This term is still in usage, though, so it’s important that we continue to talk about this.

Dragonfruitgender (or drafruigender) is a gender that’s mushy and sweet, with some kick to it. This can be fluid between other fruit based genders, or fruit eating animal genders! Have fun!
