Selfgender: When your gender is you, you have a gender, but your gender can only be described as being yourself, and may be hard to put into words, as it is your whole selfhood and identity.

puddleslimeic is a gender related to puddle slimes from the game slime rancher. this gender can feel cool, slime like, and/or shy, but it doesn’t have too!
So! You got a request in your inbox from a 2s person concerning 2s related content and your concerned you may accidentally come off as racist, choose offensive colors/names or make a mistake? Heres a guide from a 2s person on how to go about the request!
Dos and donts with the flag/name/colors/etc!
Do!:
Be respectful! Ask questions if your worried something might be offensive.
Take inspiration from the native wheel if your stuck. It contains the colors black, red, yellow and white.
(If coining something by a 2s person for other 2s) write their definition word for word. Its ok to fix grammer but do not alter the definition. Especially if your intention is to make it more inclusive. The entire reason two spirit being an identity exclusive to native american and native canadian people is said so much is because white people like to appropriate our terms.
(If its towards a specific tribe and not pan-indian in nature)Make sure to include colors associated with the specific tribe and not just “ general colors”.
Work natural colors into it. Muted greens, blues, reds, yellows and browns are wonderful choices.
Only make combos, coinings, flags, etc. If requested by a native person, not of your own valition. Basically dont go off and make them without being asked cause your combo could turn out to be offensive.
Be aware that we are not a hive mind and what some 2s people find totally normal and acceptable, others find revolting. Make your own deductions based on research.
Take anon 2s requests. We dont need to prove ourselves to you and 9 times out of 10, the only people requesting 2s things are 2s themselves.
Ask for input by 2s creators! Sometimes we dont have the answer on if something is offensive or not but most of us are happy to step in and help if your stuck on naming something or colors.
Dont!;
Make the color scheme mostly if not entirely red or represent the possibley needed poc stripes at the top in red tones. Associating red with native peoples skin is the same as associating yellow with asian peoples skin. Its offensive and often untrue.
Work the words eskimo, squaw, buck or any other slurs into the title. If you arnt sure its a slur or not, do some research and it’ll hopefully clear anything up!
Add the words chief, tipi, dreamcatcher, pow wow, longhouse, totem pole, parka, etc. Into the name unless asked. Just because it is apart of native culture dosent make it less sterotypical.
Remove the religious aspects of this gender. Its name and premise is related to common native belief of having a male and female spirit aka 2 spirit.
Make 2s loveing 2s or 2s42s flags. Culturally, a 2s person being with another 2s person was considered incestous.
Make combos with agender/gendervoid. Culturally, having no gender/spirit was either veiwed as impossible or that you were something monsterous/evil. You can make them and agender/gendervoid 2s people exist but culturally, its not considered a good thing. Third genders are fine.
Insert your own opinions on the label. Most of us would not come to a white person for flags or coinings unless we particularly like you or have no ability to do it ourselves. Also we dont care what you think and you will most likely be labled a racist.
Assume all 2s people are bigender/male and female. Its a wide definition and covers mulitple forms of gender.
Imply or attempt to force 2s people into or out of the label lgbt/q*eer(censored for ops triggers)/mogai or its communities. Its a very personal stance. However, most 2s people do not consider being 2s to put them into the lgbt community due to it being considered, in general, a colonist/white/non-native concept.
Take offense when we call you a colonist. Its not a slur or some shit! However, be aware its pretty split on usage. 50% use it as just a term for non-native people that has no negative intention( similar to hawaiians and the term haole or jewish people and the term goy) but theres also 50% who use it as an insult or to call out privilage. In the end, its context.
Try to be the white savior. There are misninformed 2s people obvs but remember that even if a term from a 2s may seem offensive( excluding those trying to justify stuff like pedophilia, incest, etc. By saying “ its 2s” when its not). Remember, we are trying to navigate oftenly white labels that barely make sense to us culturally so dont freak out when we identify as part man while also being a lesbian. Its a cultural difference and no, we arent “ forceing men into lesbian spaces”.
Take 2s requests from non-native people. Just dont. Idc if they said its for a friend or anything like that, most of the time they are lieing. They probably think 2s is open for everyone when it very much so is not and they want to hide the fact they are culturally appropriating.
Outright deny our requests because your scared of being racist or overstepping boundaries! We requested it from you in the first place so not only do we give you permission but we also trust you with it. Its fine to ask questions and we will help you so please dont be afraid of us and our flag.
Think your expert on 2s because you made a combo that they liked or identities based on 2s. Yes, it starts you on the path of being a wonderful ally but please remember you are an ally, not one of us.
Now for some common questions and answers!
Is it ok for me to make combos/terms/etc about 2s when its requested by a 2s person?
Yes! Theres nothing wrong with it. Just dont do it without being asked because it could end up being racist.
Can i redesign the 2s flag even if im not 2s/native?
Nope! But a conditional nope. Only of your being guided by a 2s person. Otherwise please dont touch it. You can make pastel/touch ups/equalize the stripes but dont alter the colors.
What 2s flag should i use?
Personally, ive seen most of us perfer this flag!
Its also encouraged that you dont use the flag that is just rainbow/trans/nb with the feathers on top! It was not made by a 2s person and, as stated before, we arent inherently lgbt.
What combos should i avoid?
As stated above, gendervoid/agender or any genders that suggest you never have a gender may not be taken lightly by some members but you can still do them. Also probably avoid anything related to alcoholism, drug use, savagery and animal imagery. Also avoid combining us with flags/terms by tgce, veganism, christian or atheist terms. Tgce is racist towards native americans, veganism is often very very anti-native, we were tortured at large by chrisitians and religion is a key part to being 2s so total atheism cant really co-exist with it.
What do i do if i accidentally made something racist?
Uhm… Delete it, Apologize, dont deny it happened/downplay what you did/defend yourself and move on to show you know you did something wrong and want to improve upon it.
Who should i go to about questions?
Most 2s users are open to dms and conversation. Includeing myself.
If your a creator within the mogai/lgbt community that isnt 2s/native, please reblog this so others can know how to help our community within yours and to spread awareness of this identity in a safe and correct way.
Autilumen is an orientation on the multisexual spectrum which can only be understood in the context of being on the autism spectrum, when one’s autism greatly affects one’s lumensexuality. Autilumen is not autism as a sexual orientation, but rather an m-spec identity that is so heavily influenced by autism that one’s autism and one’s lumensexuality cannot be unlinked. Not all autistic lumensexual people identify as autilumen, only those whose lumensexuality is influenced by them being autistic. Autilumen is an exclusive identity only to be used by people on the autism spectrum.
This is how the beta designs were really scrapped and inspired the story of the three dogs burned in the tower came to be as a cover up (in my delusional head)
The beta designs for the trio are quite interesting. It be cool to reuse these designs as what the three dogs should look like before they transformed by Ho-oh.
If y’all know the Johto region lore, this makes it all the funnier.
Inspired by [superfluidgender] which we heavily relate to, but it’s just not sparking the gender euphoria machine in this Chili’s tonight, you know?
so sometimes you just gotta make terms for your own damn selves !
Morphofluid:
a massive and expansive gender which fluctuates and is fluid through the experiences of someone who is polymorphic / a polymorph. The genders experienced often reflect whichever form-state the polymorph is currently shifted into.
ie: being a polymorph currently shifted into a certain form-state & your gender shifting to reflect that current form-state.
note:The gender reflected by the form-state does not have to be in-line thematically with said form-state. One might be shifted into a canine form-state but be experiencing an angelic gender reflection, for example. It is common for the reflected gender to match the form-state, but it is not required to identify with this term. the only requirement is that one is a polymorph and their gender shifts with the change of their form-states/shifts.
Similarly, due to the nature of being a polymorph, these genders may be fixed or more temporary depending upon the type of polymorph someone might be. Some polymorphs are all of their forms at once, even when shifted into a particular state. While others momentarily [or sometimes even permanently] lose connection to forms they are not currently shifted into. It all depends on the individual(s) !
For some, they may feel that they are always all of their polymorphic form-states, which may cause them to also feel all of their form-state-genders at once, as well. But shifting still occurs, giving a bit of a “lean” towards whichever gender reflection is most prominent at the time. I would call this subset of Morphofluid “supershifterfluid” or “supermorphofluid” or “omnimorphofluid” depending on whichever sparks joy.
Don’t clown on this post [we are the only clown allowed here]; we’re just tryna live our dumbass plural polymorph lives in some semblance of understanding and congruence. It’s not that deep.
can i just say (again) how much i hate the phrase “girls, gays, and theys.” like. transhet, aspec, intersex*, and non-gay mspec men are standing right there. so are nonbinary people who don’t use they/them pronouns. like, good job at equating pronouns to gender? that’s transphobic. even if you’re trans.
none of you are being woke by saying “girls, gays, and theys.” you’re being exclusive and spreading a host of harmful sentiments about other lgbt people, most of which bassically add up to “anyone else isn’t woke, oppressed, or lgbtq+ enough to be included in this.”
microaggressions are a thing that exist, even if they’re painted over with “woke” language. you are not immune to this. you are not exempt from being queerphobic just because you’re lgbt+. stop saying this phrase and find something else, for the love of god.
*note: not all intersex people consider themselves lgbtq+ in regard to their intersexness. but some do, and deserve to have that respected.
love oppressing normative mascs with my twink girl flag. as if we never got called tomgirl or janegirl
Also I hope everyone knows that Miette was fostered before she was adopted, and her foster mom loved that little kitten so much and always hoped she’d gone to a good home. this tweet got so popular that she recognized Miette and reached out to her current mom, and was able to share previously unseen baby pictures
You mean, she saw Miette was kicked like the football and did nothing to help put Mother in jail for a thousand years? I am appalled.
[Image description: A flag bisected diagonally. The upper/left portion is black, with the constellation symbol for Octans in white. The lower/right portion has nine stripes: four in a gradient from purple to light blue, a white stripe, and four in a gradient from green to yellow. End ID]
Octantic: Feeling/being not only devoid of sex, gender, and orientation, but also removed from those concepts entirely. A combination of apogender, panaspec, and angenital.
Using the symbol for Octans is meant to convey a sense of remoteness, as Octans contains the southern pole star and octants are used for navigation. The symbol also looks like an “A” for “apo-”.
Transisogender (transiso/isotrans), metrans/metatrans/transmeta (transmetagender/metransgender/metatransgender) or abstransgender/transabsgender (abstrans/transabs): absgender/abs* and trans*/transgender.
Isocis* (isocisgender/cisisogender)/Cisiso/Ciso* (cisogender): being both cis* and iso*; isogender and cisgender; metacis (metacisgender/cismetagender)/cismeta; abscisgender (abscis)/cisabs (cisabsgender).
A combo flag for experiencing both identities. Trapiá or trapyá could be a lialexicon/nialexicon similar to mannlier/manlier (mannlher/manlher). Piavesti/pyavesti is an alternative.

A fragrant, delicate gender that feels like spring and silken petals on your cheek. This gender may be feminine, masculine, something else, or fluid. For @satan-incarnate-666
Although most US states are on solid financial footing following the coronavirus crisis, pension liabilities are a deep-seated problem that long predates the pandemic.
Autiace or autiasexual is as sexual orientation on asexual spectrum which can only be understood in the context of being on the autism spectrum, when one’s autism greatly affects one’s asexuality. Autiace is not autism as a sexual orientation, but rather an ace-spec identity that is so heavily influenced by autism that one’s autism and one’s asexuality cannot be unlinked. There are studies indicating that people on the autism spectrum are more likely to identify as asexual.[1][2]
Not all autistic asexual people identify as autiace, only those whose asexuality is influenced by them being autistic. Autiace is an exclusive identity only to be used by people on the autism spectrum. However, autistic people anywhere on the asexual spectrum (i.e. including demisexual, greysexual, etc.) may identify as autiace.
The autiace flag has five horizontal stripes – black, gray, white, gray, black – with a purple infinity symbol in the middle, which vertically reaches middles of the gray stripes and has a white outline. The colors are from the asexual flag and as such they represent asexual spectrum, while the infinity symbol represents autism spectrum. Second flag made by @wikipunk.
Autiaro or Autiaromantic is a romantic identity on the aromantic spectrum in which one’s autism greatly affects one’s romantic orientation/lack of romantic attraction. Autiaro is not autism as an orientation, but rather an aromantic identity that is so heavily affected by or influenced by one’s autism, that one’s aromanticism and one experience of having autism cannot be unlinked from each other.
Not all autistic aromantic people identify as autiaro, only those who feel their aromanticism is influenced by them being autistic. Autiaro is an exclusive identity to those who are on the autism spectrum. Although, any autistic person on the aromantic spectrum (ex. aroflux , demiromantic , cupioromantic , etc) may identify with autiaro.
The colors on the flag are from the aromantic flag and as such they represent aromantic spectrum, while the infinity symbol represents the autism spectrum. Second flag mde by @wikipunk.
Let’s talk about the popular and sorta controversial gay flag from @gayflagblog, shown below. please check out my sources linked throughout the post for yourself.
The Reason a Flag is Needed In The First Place
The rainbow flag has always been the most popular flag for gay men to signify gay-ness and still is, even though this flag is gaining some popularity. Because of the centring of (cis, white, rich) gay men in general, due to our world’s generally patriarchal modern structure, society’s image of the LGBT+ community, the rainbow flag from 1978 and its new 6 stripe form has often been mistakenly attributed to gay men in particular, despite the rainbow flag being a deliberately inclusive flagthat includes all LGBT+ people. So, for a while, gay men and lesbians didn’t have popular, widely used flags for our specific identities as gay men and lesbians, though more flags started to be popularised for specific identities, such as bisexual, transgender and asexual while previous lesbian and gay male flags hadn’t achieved widespread use. Lesbians and gay men started using the internet to figure out specific identity flags. why? because enough people wanted something more specific.
The Objections
I’m going to go through some reasons that some people have for not only not using this flag, but discouraging its use by other people.
‘‘It’s ugly’‘
I disagree, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. this isnt an actual reason to discourage use of this flag.
people have started making fun of the flag by saying that it looks ‘’like toothpaste’’. I think this is just people who mistakenly believe that this flag has big problems (that im going to debunk in this post) and are making fun of it because of that, rather than the appearance of the flag being their main problem with it.
‘‘it was made by a *insert bad adjective here* person’‘
A lot of people seem to believe that the @gayflagblog flag was ‘’made by a truscum/misogynist/[insert bad adective here’]’. Personally i don’t believe that because a symbol was made by someone you don;t agree with or who has done harm, doesnt mean it is necessarily unusable. I think it should be on a case-by-case basis and based on whether you are actually perpetuating those ideas or providing camouflage for dangerous movements by using the symbol, but lets talk about whether this objection is based in facts.
@gayflagblog is an anonymous account that does not talk about issues that are not to do with the flag, and specifically has made the flag inclusive of all gay men, which makes these accusations factually baseless.
here is why people began believing this.
[ID: gayflagblog flag left, Pride-flags flag right]
A blogger with transmedicalist views, @discourse-king on tumblr (now deactivated) posted the flag that mod Hermy made, and worded the post in a way that made it seem like they had created it. The post got more reach than the original post on Deviantart.
@gayflagblog and mod Hermy are not transmedicalists. discourse-king was a truscum/transmed blog, but they didnt make either flag.
‘‘i dont like that it mainly uses the colour blue because it seems stereotypical’‘
The colour blue is definitely the stereotypical masculine colour. That doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be used to represent men, however. there are several pride flags that utilise pink and blue to represent men and women, such as the pansexual, bisexual and transgender flags.
[ID: pansexual, bisexual and transgender flags]
It’s understandable to be uncomfortable with the dominance of blue in the standard @gayflagblog flag ,however, there are variations of the flag that have less blue in them.
the presence of blue in the flag is an obvious choice, but the creator could have scaled it back a bit in my opinion.
it’s stolen from the sunset lesbian flag’’
[ID: 7 stripe and 5 stripe gay man and lesbian flags side by side, One lesbian flag is upside down to show different alignments]
This is a very popular reason people have for being uncomfortable with the popular gay male flag. The sunset lesbian flag was proposed in 2018 ,the @gayflagblog flag was posted on tumblr on July 10th 2019. it’s very clear that the creator of the popular gay male flag was inspired by the design of the sunset lesbian flag. But is it a case of copying? is this flag just a ‘’hue shifted lesbian flag’’ as people often say?
this is what happens when you try to make the sunset lesbian flag look like the gay man flag using photshop’s hue shift feature. not only are the colours not the correct luminosity/brightness, they are much less diverse in hue than they need to be. the amounts of the colour spectrum that we label as certain colours like pink, orange, green, purple are not equal in size.
[ID: photoshop colour picker]
as you can see, the size of the ‘’orange’’ part of the spectrum is much smaller than the ‘’blue’’ side of the spectrum. the idea that this flag was created literally by hue shifting is mathematically impossible.
So we know just by looking at it that this flag was inspired by the 2018 sunset lesbian flag, but is it a problem that this gay flag was partly inspired by this lesbian flag? Well, firstly we have to figure out how original the sunset lesbian flag is in the first place, and actually, the origins of this lesbian flag are a lot more gay (of the male variety) than you may expect.
Wow. that’s complicated. I’m sure I left out a lot of history in this chart, but you get the general idea. Gay and lesbian symbols have always been very intertwined, inseparable, it seems.
How do you copy a flag that is a merging of 2 versions of another flag, that was copied from another flag, that was inspired by 2 flags that were inspired by another flag? this isn’t a case of copying, it’s chaotic flag-ception. it’s actually quite beautiful, gay and lesbian communities interacting and making art throughout the years.
We came from the Gilbert Baker rainbow flag, to the Leather and Bear flags, to an obscure flag made by Fausto Fernós, that was turned into a borderline-copied lipstick lesbian flag, that turned into a gay male flag, a general lesbian flag and a butch flag, and those flags were smooshed together into another flag with influence from the trans flag (and I believe the green, grey and black aromantic flag was also an influence but I would have to ask Emily Gwen), and that smooshed together with the gay flag and the other Frankenstein lesbian flag into the gay flag you see at the bottom. Isn’t queer art amazing?
My point here is not to say that copied or heavily inspired flags are a bad thing, though. this is the nature of queer symbols. we arent divided into separate factions who only unite for the occasional issue, we are constantly mixing with each other, because we have similar political needs. A huge amount of us LGBT+ people have gone through multiple labels, personally i have lived as a bisexual girl, a cis lesbian, a nonbinary genderfluid pansexual person with a preference for women, a bisexual/omnisexual trans boy, an abrosexual trans boy, and a genderfluid gay/opalian/technically also bisexual trans man. the categories we have between experiences of gender and sexuality are lines we have drawn, they are not clearly defined and they are not objective, and that’s okay. despite the different words that we use to describe ourselves, we are all impacted by the way the world reacts to our divergence from the most common norms of sexuality, sex, romance and gender.
This isn’t a case of one artist claiming another artist’s work as their own, or maliciously profiting off of another party’s labour, those situations are deceptive and potentially harmful. So where does the idea that because a queer symbol, (something used in a fashion similar to folk songs, where the ownership is communal and the art is always evolving) is inspired or even copied, it is therefore bad, come from?
Capitalism.
The structure of the societies and systems we live in have shaped the way we see the world, and it has happened from such young ages that we haven’t even noticed. we view everything as something that could potentially be commodified for profit. we don’t think of it this way consciously, but the evidence is there in the way we interact with many things, including queer art and queer symbols. I recommend this video from Patricia Taxxon that questions the legal institution of intellectual property, even if you don’t agree with her overall point that the legal institution of intellectual property is a problem, it will still give anyone reading this a critical look at the way we subconsciously think about art.
I guess the bigger point of this post isnt really ‘’stop telling people not to use the blue purple and green gay flag’’, though you really should stop doing that.
It’s this: Let’s de-commodify queerness and de-capitalize our minds.
Didn’t it actually come a year earlier than the modern lesbian flag?
thats the flag from pride-flags on deviantart, not the @gayflagblog flag but yeah it did come out before the sunset lesbian flag.
Have a wonderful day cuz you are an amazing person and totally valid. Don’t listen to people who tell you that you’re fake, or shouldn’t talk about it!
For a second I didn’t realize it meant “high” as in a stoner–I thought “High Geologist” was like a rank of geologist or something and he was insulted you would challenge him to naming stones
surprised no one’s connected the “you’re fine with cheerleaders but not leather daddies, what gives?” kink at pride discourse, the “isn’t it fucked up that we have to wear makeup” tumblr discourse, and the “rising female bisexuality is an existential threat to western civ” tradcon discourse, to produce the take that american society tries to socialize everyone to be attracted to women and not to men. not sure if that’s true but it does unify a lot of internet talking points. twitter simping discourse could go somewhere in there as well
[Image description: Two flags by side. The left one is floragenital and contains brown, black and dark green vertical stripes. The right one is astrogenital and contains dark blue, black, and dark pink vertical stripes. End image description.]
Floragenital: An altersex identity where someone fells euphoric by conceptualizing their genitalia as plant-related. ‘Florasex’ can be used if it is your sex as a whole.
Astrogenital: An altersex identity where someone fells euphoric by conceptualizing their genitalia as outer space-related. ‘Astrosex’ can be used if it is your sex as a whole.
(Note: This is my first time doing an image description, tell me if I did it wrong.)
Roigalaxic: a gender connected to being a space king; this gender is connected to space, galaxies, stars, everything in space, space aesthetics, king aesthetics, and non-binary manhood.
Galaxireine: a gender connected to being a space queen; this gender is connected to space, galaxies, stars, everything in space, space aesthetics, queen aesthetics, and non-binary womanhood.
Royalgalaxic: a gender connected to being space royalty; this gender is connected to space, galaxies, stars, everything in space, space aesthetics, royal aesthetics, and being non-binary.
Galaxicesse: a gender connected to being a space princess; this gender is connected to space, galaxies, stars, everything in space, space aesthetics, princess aesthetics, and non-binary girlhood.
Doppel-: describing one’s attraction to one’s Doppelgänger (a biologically unrelated look-alike, or a double, of a living person), or at least having an attractional curiosity.
Cis*queer: describing a cis* individual that is queer. One’s queerness is not necessarily tied to one’s orientation necessarily, it could stand/extend to relations(hips), genderness, sexness/sex traits or variations etc etc. Such as those encompassed within variance (variant identity). Cis* isn’t necessarily cisgender/cissex as someone can be cisn’t and encompassed by the expansion of the cis*ness.
i came into conclusion that im actually carniflexible (subset of flexitarian)
Here’s an [article on Medium] from Fausto Fernós saying as much, along with what the flag was meant to represent:
The Lipstick Lesbian Flag idea was stolen from my design of a Cougar Pride Flag, which was designed to draw attention to the ongoing issue of ageism and sexism in women’s sexuality.
It was also meant to be tounge in cheek when I came up with it in 2008, which was taken wholesale by this blogger in 2010, and never credited it the source.
The lipstick lesbian flag was designed by a drag queen, ME!
i don’t care if you’re not radfem antagonic, if you still slightly support their regressive ideas, block me pls
This is the cougar pride flag, created by Fuasto Fernós, a gay drag queen, in 2005, 5 years before the lipstick lesbian flag, and posted on April 15th, 2008, 2 years before the lipstick lesbian flag. The design was stolen.
It was made to be sort of a satirical/tongue-in-cheek flag combating ageism and sexism in women’s sexuality.
It’s so gorgeous, especially compared to the stolen version by a racist, butch-hating, biphobe. Let’s bring it back. Let’s give it’s beauty all the credit that was stolen from it.
Exogamy/Exoamory: the custom of marrying/dating outside one’s social group/unit (community, clan or tribe).
– Mod AP
Being mixed, I feel like this is treading on LGBT+ territory. As a mixed person who married outside of both my cultures this flag was made for me and I still feel really awkward, kind of like it’s LGBT appropriation. Can I get some input from anyone in the LGBT+ community on their feelings? On the one side it’s most definitely a group that needs representation but on the other side this flag is REALLY similar to a much more notable one. But is having a flag and using the (true terms) “Exogamous” “Exoamorous” instead of mixed couples or interracial or intercultural, really where this community needs to begin?
Hello everyone! I’m Mod Hermy, creator and main mod/uploader on pride-flags deviantart. I’ve been working on this blog on and off for years now and it’s by far the largest archive of HQ flags out there. I also have free flag templates, symbols, and other resources to help anyone make their own HQ flags, all for free.
I’m a disabled, unemployed, queer artist and while the archive and its resources will always be free and open to everyone, I would greatly appreciate if y’all would help me out by boosting this post and possibly throwing some donation money my way if possible! I would love to be able to at least partially support myself with this so I can continue working several hours a day on it. This blog is a lot of work and it’s hard to keep up with finding, enhancing, and uploading flags as well as making/collecting resources takes a lot of time.
You’ll find the above designs and much more in the shop and requests are open if you would like a flag not already added there!
call me a lesbiphobe, i don’t care. but I’m bit skeptical and tired of lesbian meanies hating the ‘toothpaste pride flag’ (by @gayflagblog) claiming Gilbert Baker’s gay pride flag as a flag for gay men, as lesbians coopt too often gay term for them, specially because rainbow flags are not only used for LGBTQ+ things but also rainbow families, communities, hippies, etc.
Representing transbians reclaiming the bihet slur. Combining my bi trans lesbian flag with a het flag, resembling my lesbihet flag. Could be called (trans)bihetbian, translesbihet and (bi)transhetbian (transhet lunian). It could also represent a (bi-trans)str8bian.

He says, “I call the bear community The Goonies of the gay community. ‘Cause they accept almost anything, and they want you to be comfortable. I just think it’s really important that people know they’ve got a place to go.” He becomes emotional, tearing up. “Society can be very mean. All I want to do is have a chance to find somebody to love. Live a pretty normal life. And enjoy it. And be able to shine. And the bear community allows you that.“ END ID.]
Vexlian: A term for those who have separate “human” and “nonhuman” gender identities that exist independently of one another. These separate identities may feel as though they contradict each other, but still exist at the same time. Users may alternate between the two, or consistently feel both at once. This gender may be considered kenic.
Example:
Someone who is nonhuman and uses many microlabels because of it, but considering they’re in a human body, they’ve found that they like being a binary man, separate from their nonhuman identity. Because of this, they feel both nonbinary in a nonhuman way, but male in a human way, at the same time.
────────────────────
Can be used by anyone who identifies partly or wholly as nonhuman.
A flag for people who identify with the term “malewife” for whatever reason. While this flag can be used in lighthearted fun, this flag/post is meant to be a genuine thing that someone can identify with. You do not have to be queer to use this, and you can identify with the label for whatever reason you want. You can still use this if you prefer terms like boywife or manwife.
[Flag ID: A 5 striped flag, with the middle stripe being much larger than the rest. There is a blank one on the top, with two versions on the bottom with the male symbol in varying sizes. From top to bottom, the colors are dark blue, purple, light orange, pink, dark purple. The male signs on the bottom flags are yellow with a pink border. End ID.]
────────────────────
Some reasons for using this term could include…
Being a man who prefers the term “wife” for yourself, possibly alongside other feminine terms.
Being a man who prefers to/takes comfort in taking on stereotypically feminine roles in relationships. This often refers to men who prefer to take on a feminine role in relationships with women, but it’s not exclusive to that experience.
IDing with this label due to being gender nonconforming and/or pronoun nonconforming.
Being nonbinary, and IDing partly as a man/masculine gender, while also identifying with femininity in a way that feels like being a “wife”, whether IDing with an actual feminine gender or not.
…. Alongside others!

Equal-stripe-length flags below the cut! (Mainly for icons, but you can use these in general.)

Poc poc originated as a slur in Brazil directed at DMAB drag queens/transformists and other effeminate/fem Wolffians impersonating astrologically Ceresian traits from women (similar to tranny), but “Poc” as a slang was banalized and nowadays means the same as gay/queer or f*g, that even Pope is referred as Poc (O Papa é Poc, as satirizing the common sentence/song O Papa É Pop). It’s the sound of high heels in the floor (poc poc poc).
This year, on the 31 March, we lost Gilbert Baker, gay artist and creator of the gay pride flag. Today we would celebrate his 66th birthday. Let’s remember him as the wonderful person he was.
i just want to add to this post that the last update made to the official pride flag by Glibert Baker before he passed away was THIS:
the new lavender stripe at the very top was added to represent DIVERSITY and as far as i am aware, was added in retaliation against trump’s presidency. i’ve not seen many people use this version, and it deserves to be known.
Hola! Si obvio, me encanta jajajaj, me parece super dulce que preguntes. Espero que no te moleste que responda en inglés.
A little bit of Argentine LGBT History on this Pride month…
First of all, here in Argentina we celebrate Pride in November, to commemorate the forming of the first LGBT+ organization in both Argentina and Latin America, back in 1967, called Nuestro Mundo. As soon as democracy was restored after the dictatorship (1983), Carlos Jauregui and Cesar Cigiutti formed Comunidad Homosexual Argentina, one of the organizations that pushed and organized towards our first Pride march in 1992.
I mention Jauregui specifically because he’s one of our most well known gay activists, he even has a metro station named after him in the City of Buenos Aires. He fought for the community’s visibility and rights tirelessly. There’s a movie on his life, you can watch it for free here (only in Spanish though)
Argentina also became the first Latin American country and 10th in the world to legalise same sex marriage in 2010.
In 2012, the Gender Identity Law was passed, allowing people to be treated according to their gender identity and have their personal documents registered with the corresponding name and gender. In addition, it orders that all medical treatments for transitioning be included in the Compulsory Medical Program, which guarantees coverage by practices throughout the health system, both public and private.
This law has been lauded as some of the most progressive gender legislation in the world, as people can now alter their gender on official documents without first having to receive a psychiatric diagnosis or surgery.
This, obviously, doesn’t mean that the trans’ community’s problems were solved. Today, trans people’s life expectancy in Argentina is between 35-40 years, they are an extremely vulnerable and marginalized group. So, there is much work to be done. We have a rich transgender history here, and it is being preserved in the Archivo de la Memoria Trans, documenting trans women’s lives. It’s wonderful, please do check them out and give them a follow.
Although there are many, many wonderful trans activists here like Susy Shock and Diana Sacayán, here I want to highlight Lohana Berkins. She was a proud travesti* activist who fought her entire life for the rights of trans and travesti people.
“The love that we were denied is our impulse for change” – Lohana
a gender that depends on gender envy; it would not exist without the envy of others genders, and it feels like no matter how many labels you collect, you never can satiate your envy!
i’m assuming you’re talking about the green/yellow/orange flag? it was made and promoted by exclusionists who don’t like that the pan flag creator isn’t an exclusionist and doesn’t fall for terf shit. it’s also panphobic, because it only recognizes the “regardless of gender” definition, which isn’t the only pan definition or experience.
here are some links to where i’ve talked about it, and other attempts to change the pan flag:
So a couple weeks ago I was looking for a particular political cartoon for reference, the one that has Anarchy as a woman with a torch, bomb, bat and a dog, cause that shits’cool, but I fell into a rabbit hole looking for it:
Anarchy has typically been portrayed as a woman by socialists. The one on the left portrays the 8 Chicago anarchists who were sentenced to death after the Haymarket Riots which proved to be a catalyst for the socialist movement worldwide and served as a preamble for the 8-hour workday; as well as go on to influence prominent anarchists such as Lucy Parsons, Voltairine de Clayre, and Emma Goldman. On the right is the NYC Black Cross.
Capitalists have been less generous on their take: the right is their take of the same events in Chicago with the four of them dead, one of them Lucy Parson’s husband. Interestingly enough, Anarchy, a woman, is counterposed as a menace to Liberty, another entity anthropomorphized as a woman.
Otherwise, Anarchy is portrayed as rabid or destructive. On the right it’s mainly against the chaos of the Mexican Revolution of 1910 which threatened to slip over the border.
Anyways, I think it’s time Anarchy joined her sisters Victory, Dignity, Truth, Liberty, and Justice.
And if someone has the aforementioned political cartoon, that’d be great, thanks.
“Business owners around the country are offering up a lament: ‘no one wants to work.’ A McDonalds franchise said they had to close because no one wants to work; North Carolina congressman David Rouzer claimed that a too-generous welfare state has turned us all lazy as he circulated photos of a shuttered fast-food restaurant supposedly closed ‘due to NO STAFF.’
Most of these complaints seem to be coming from franchised restaurants. Why? Well, it’s not complicated. Service workers didn’t decide one day to stop working — rather huge numbers of them cannot work anymore. Because they’ve died of coronavirus.
A recent study from the University of California–San Francisco looks at increased morbidity rates due to COVID, stratified by profession, from the height of the pandemic last year. They find that food and agricultural workers morbidity rates increased by the widest margins by far, much more so than medical professionals or other occupations generally considered to be on the ‘front lines’ of the pandemic. Within the food industry, the morbidity rates of line cooks increased by 60 percent, making it the deadliest profession in America under coronavirus pandemic.
Line cooks are especially at risk because of notoriously bad ventilation systems in restaurant kitchens and preparation areas. Anyone who has ever worked a back-of-the-house job knows that it’s hot, smelly, and crowded back there, all of which indicate poor indoor air quality. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Environmental Protection Agency recommended increasing indoor ventilation to fight the virus, but such upgrades are costly and time consuming. There is no data available on how many restaurants chose not to upgrade their ventilation systems, but given how miserly franchise owners are with everything else, one could guess that many, if not most, made no upgrades at all.
Ventilation issues are deadliest for line cooks and other back-of-house jobs, but there are other reasons why food workers’ morbidity rates shot up. Food workers are much more likely to be poor and/or a racial or national minority, and poor people and black and Latino workers are much more likely to die of complications from the coronavirus.
Restaurants are often intentionally short staffed, making it difficult to take time off, so sick workers likely still came to work (and infected others in the process). Bars and restaurants are COVID-19 hotspots, and service workers and customers alike get sick after prolonged restaurant exposure. The difference is that many of those customers have health insurance and other safeguards to prevent them from dying of the illness; 69 percent of restaurants, on the other hand, offer their employees no health benefits at all.
When coronavirus is spread at restaurants, and restaurant workers make little money and rarely earn health benefits, it’s no wonder morbidity rates are so much higher for food service workers. But rather than collectively grieve the deaths of tens of thousands of the people who serve us and keep us fed, and keep such tragedies in mind when considering the state of the food-service industry labor market today, business owners and their political lackeys call these workers ‘lazy.’
There are, of course, also living, breathing people who have decided they do not want to risk their lives for $7.25 per hour and no health benefits. That is a perfectly rational decision for the homo economicus to make. Given how dangerous restaurant work is during a viral pandemic, if restaurant owners really wanted more workers, they would offer living wages, health benefits, and adequate personal protective equipment. But all the wage increases in the world won’t bring back the dead.
There aren’t enough people working in the service industry, and service bosses have somehow turned that into our problem, into something we ought to be ashamed of. We shouldn’t fall for it. Profits accumulate because of labor — without workers to exploit, the owning class can’t get richer. Capitalists cannot exploit the labor of the dead, so when large swathes of the working class die, they turn their ire on the living.
This is a barbaric response to mass tragedy. Workers across the country and the globe are dead or grieving. We shouldn’t risk further tragedies for a paltry minimum wage.”
Bambi bi lesbian: A bisexual lesbian who prefers cuddles, hugs, kisses, and other nonsexual acts over sex. A bi lesbian specific variant of bambi lesbian.
Your attraction is like a ghost while someone is in your life; very low, you’re aware of it but it’s barely there. Then, once the person leaves your life, it spikes abruptly, leading to yearning, even though you know that, should they return, you will no longer be attracted to them nearly as much.

okay, since i cant find any terms that fit me im making my own,
⭐️ Spacevoidgender 🌙
A xenogender that feels like floating in the void of space, cold.
Sorry it’s still an enigma for me, but one of my comrades said that I was being vaguely dharmaboy weeks ago. Dharmagender would be the opposite of genderpunk and qiagender (qspec (queer spectrum) in nature genderness, as a viagender). So basically dharmaboy would be a “discreet gay” while qiaboy would be a “woke gay” if that makes sense
To be more precise, dharmagender is only ACCIDENTALLY an antigender to genderpunk or qiagender, because we live in a society where significant social sanctions tend to befall on those who are [particularly if very openly and flamboyantly] LGBT, and even within the LGBT community, labels such as the ones we use in the MOGAI community bring snark and scrutiny.
If we lived in a society where, say, homophobia and transphobia were mostly abolished and androgyne and neutrois were recognized as real genders but xenogenders were not, then someone could be a dharmaneutrois aliensic. But as it is, the only place where I could see someone being dharmaneutrois (while hiding their more complex MOGAI identities) is being among the wider trans community and its allies – in most other places, about all nonbinary labels get a lot of judgment.
But currently, since that is not the case, dharmagender ends up encompassing most instances of someone being in the closet and fine about it (or not even really consider their situation a closet thing).
Reminder, though, that dharmagender can be not only about social prestige, but also about learning. Maybe one feels like different reactions brought by one being out as one thing, and then slowly coming out as a more complex label to a more limited number of people, allow both sides to have a bigger opportunity to expand their perspectives.
Definition: Autifein is a neurogender exclusive to autistic people. It can be described as a female gender through a genderless lense. Someone who is autifein may feel female while also having a disconnect from gender all together due to neurodivergence.
It is not inherently nonbinary, as some autigein may still feel like a binary cis or trans female despite the disconnect. Others may also identify with labels such as autigxrl, girl+, agender woman, or demigirl.
This was originally made for gay oriented aroace trans people but is applicable to any trans person who experiences attraction for people of the same gender.
ID: Futurama Fry meme format. Fry squints, implying he is confused and trying to figure something out. The caption reads “Is this attraction or gender envy?” The oriented aroace and trans flags are visible behind the text. End ID]

– Gendersplit: Experiencing multiple genders that are split apart, like bigender or trigender. [x] – Crystagender: When one’s gender changes so frequently, they feel fractured between different identities (or labels, or alignments.) [x] – Mosaigender/Portiogender: A gender that is made up of smaller pieces of other genders. [x]
There’s caedgender, which is a gender that’s been cut away due to trauma, and brokendollix, which is a gender with many pieces that is hard to fully investigate, but is only for ND people. I don’t want to assume anything about your neurotype or experiences though. [x] [x]
I… Don’t really like any of these, they don’t really fit into what you’re asking for. And it’s sad, because your description is really interesting and I could see it applying to a lot of folks! So, we’re gonna pull another intuilleous and coin in the ask!
Píosazin
When one’s gender is fragmented, making it hard to identify all of the parts. They may use labels to describe each piece, but as a whole, no amount of labels will fully work. Visuals like fractals, shattered glass, puzzle pieces, etc. may be used too. It’s similar to collectigender in the sense that no label will be “perfect”, but with the added concept of brokenness.
Flag meaning, pronunciation, and etymology below the cut!
Essentially, this is a microlabel where you believe your gender to be influenced by a deity, spirit, or other mythological being. For example, I am agender, and I believe that this label fits me because a deity/being (in my case, Sindri the Dwarf) has influenced my fate.
Here’s the flag!
The colors do have meanings, don’t worry
I used blue to represent divinity, white to represent spirituality, and yellow to represent gold, which symbolizes the wealth, knowledge, and power the gods of our species possess.
I also made a set of neopronouns to go with this microlabel, the Ae/Aesirself pronoun set (named after the primary tribe of Gods in the Norse cosmos)
Definition: A neurogender which can only be understood in the context of being autistic or when one’s autism greatly affects one’s gender or how one experiences gender. Autigender can be a stand alone gender or it can be used in combination with another gender to show that one’s experience of that gender is heavily influenced by being autistic.
Definition: A Passionate Friendship (PF), also known as, an Affectionate Friendship is a nonsexual, nonromantic, emotionally and physically intimate relationship between friends. This friendship serves as a primary relationship, so if the people involved create a hierarchy of relationships in their lives, the passionate friendship is either their most important relationship or one of their most important relationships, entirely equal to the other most important. It can also be a relationship where it is unclear whether the feelings are “romantic” or “nonromantic” for one or more of the people involved.
Those involved in a PF may be called a passionate friend, passfriend/pashfriend, a PF, or any other terms associated with friendship or partnership that they have agreed upon.
✎ᝰ┆Extra: PFs are more common with relationship anarchists, ace-specs, and aro-specs, though anyone is able to have this type of relationship. The colors I used were picked from a pic of a passionfruit, and I tried to make it similar to the original flag which can be found here.
Definition: when you know you’re plural, but you feel a feeling of “fakeness” present, either due to neurodivergency or due to outside pressure, such as from parents, society, etc;
Definition: Autimain is a neurogender exclusive to autistic people. It can be described as a male gender through a genderless lense. Someone who is autimain may feel male while also having a disconnect from gender all together due to neurodivergence.
It is not inherently nonbinary, as some autimain may still feel like a binary cis or trans male despite the disconnect. Others may also identify with labels such as autibxy, boy+, agender man, or demiboy.
✎ᝰ┆Extra: Please feel free to reblog with a definition in your own words. I’m not the best with expressing myself through words, so I’m sure the definition could use some help!
My gender can’t be explained as simply binary or nonbinary. I feel like my gender is inherently tied into my gender non conformity as a queer autistic person. Socially, my male identity is important, but outside of that, it’s non-existent and unimportant.
non-binary people who aren’t binary aligned but consider their attraction to men as gay
this flag can be used by any nonbinary person who doesn’t consider themselves aligned with any binary gender, and who are attracted exclusively or non exclusively to men!
Dellosexual : experiencing attraction to multiple genders and experiencing allosexual style attraction to some genders, but is demisexual towards other genders. For example, a dellosexual person may require a close emotional bond with a woman before experiencing any attraction, but they do not need such a connection in order to be attracted to a man. Dellosexual can be a sexual orientation on its own or can be combined with other orientations. For example, one could be dellosexual and polysexual (dellopolysexual), meaning that when one does experience sexual attraction they can experience it towards multiple genders, but not all genders. The romantic counterpart is delloromantic.
Term coined on Wikia FANDOM by user the user GenderGay.
Delloromantic : experiencing attraction to multiple genders and experiencing alloromantic style attraction to some genders, but is demiromantic towards other genders. For example, a delloromantic person may require a close emotional bond with a woman before experiencing any attraction, but they do not need such a connection in order to be attracted to a man. Delloromantic can be a romantic orientation on its own or can be combined with other orientations. For example, one could be delloromantic and polyromantic meaning that when one does experience romantic attraction they can experience it towards multiple genders, but not all genders.
The coiner of delloromantic is currently unknown, the dellosexual flag was designed by Wikia FANDOM user GenderGay.
I’ve got the flag decided and i think it’s good to make a separate post for it (also that i got two more variations. Just for funsies)
So yeah, this is my mlm/nblm/nblnb/mlnb flag!
There’s no meaning behind the colors, it’s just based on the colors of a blue hortense and the symbol is a mix of the symbols in the mlm and nblnb flags
The variations on the colors of the symbol are just for fun
Supratrois or Supertrois: characterizing an intangible leptivity or a group of intangible leptivities; leptrois genderness/gendernesses that include(s) exceed(s) its/their dimension(s).
This definition is abstract at the moment but can be expanded. The prefix was suggest for me from a comrade (droPe).
UCD reportedly payed $175,000 for this image to not appear when you search it on google:
Darn shame if this circulated…
So you mean to tell me that just by reblogging this I’m ruining an organizations plan, wasting them money, and uncovering some shitbag humans awful behaviour?
sounds to me that’s so specific that nobody else came up with a term. I’m unable to develop juvelic orientations now, try reaching another blog, if you want. but maybe, there’s a possibility someone has the word/label you. but also, don’t worry too much about it, you can always use the pre-existing terms.
you already know iridian, right?! so try looking this list. you could also coin yourself (or the other folk?) something with ixidian or irixian, honestly? idk!

And a very happy Abrosexual Pride to you my fellow queers with it being LGBT PRIDE month ❤️
If you’re Angelkin, Divinekin or everything that involves flying you MUST download the game Sky! It’s amazing, free and full of beautiful sounds and landscapes! The story and the characters are amazing too! But the best part in my opinion is the ability to fly, I can’t explain the feeling but as soon as I started to fly I cried all of my tears. It was like coming home, a huge feeling of happiness and nostalgia filled my heart!
Also everything rounds around lights beings, stars and souls! It’s perfect!!! I never played a game that pleased my kin more than this one! You can also make friends with people all over the world and do you want to hear the best part? You can fly together holding each other hands!!!! Isnt’t the sweetest thing ever?! I’m going to tell you my cutest experience in this game.
I was flying around the sky, enjoying the beautiful clouds and then I saw this cute girl with a cute hat next to me. You can’t talk with words if you’re flying but you can make cute sounds like an instrument so I did it and she did it too ( the cutest form of communications ever) and suddenly she grabbed my hand and took me higher in the sky! We flied together for an hour, making cute sounds, helping each other with missions and enjoying our time together. I don’t even know the name of this girl and she doesn’t know mine too, we probably won’t met again but it still a precious moment that warmed my heart as never before. Two strangers that enjoy their company without using any words, just feelings.
End of the story this game is too special to don’t download it in your phone. Do yourself a favor and live your Angelkin/Divinekin dream ✨🌟
