Transectionality
(Also known as transectionalist or transectional. Comes from terms transgender and intersectionality.)
─────────────
A term or subculture for transgender people who uplift, support, and listen to each other, and a term for recognizing intersectionality within the transgender community. It is explicitly pro-nonbinary, pro-feminist, and strictly against any and all forms of bigotry.
Transectionality includes recognizing and combatting all forms of oppression, and acknowledging where one can further educate themselves. It’s not just about being against transphobia- it’s about being against instances of racism, misogyny, ableism, and other forms of oppression that can directly affect members of our community, and learning about how those structures can intersect with each other. It is about solidarity, lifting up the voices of minorities within minorities, understanding one’s own privileges and using them to do good, and helping fellow transgender people in need.
The term is not an effort to say “we’re all friends! we all have equal issues!” because the truth is, that isn’t the case. There are other structural issues that can be in the transgender community, like racism, that can go ignored, un-talked about, or even dismissed outright. Transectionality is not about saying everything is fine; it’s for fighting to make things fine. Because we aren’t there yet, and we have a long way to go. The term is just as much about learning about misogyny, racism, xenophobia, ableism, and other forms of oppression as it can be about learning about transphobia itself, so that intersections of oppression can be understood and unlearned.
Transectionality can both be a belief, and it may be something that you do. For instance, a transectionalist may simply believe in these ideas, they may be an activist, or they may be dedicated to directly helping bring awareness of intersectionality in the community.
The term comes from intersectionality, which is a term used to describe how different social categories within a person can cause specific intersections of oppression. For instance, misogynoir is the intersection of misogyny and anti-black racism, so black women have a specific experience with both of those things. Intersectionality is not just “I experience these things separately,” but it is just as much about understanding what happens when those things combine, and how that can shape someone’s experiences.
The term is free to use by anyone in the transgender community, as well as anyone who may technically fit the label, but doesn’t want to use that term specifically.
Men who love women in a queer way and women who love men in a queer way are valid as fuck.
If you define your attraction as queer, it’s queer. If you don’t define it as straight, then it’s not. If you consider it both, than it’s both, and if you consider it neither, than it’s neither. Fuck anyone who says otherwise.
to all the lesboys, saphboys, lesbian/sapphic men, and boydykes: queer it up even more forever. we need more unabashed queers in this world and you deserve to express yourself as truthfully as possible.
anyone who’s against your authenticity and joy can shove their queerphobia up their ass. please don’t make yourself more palatable for people who don’t have your best interest in mind. you deserve better.
Yep, and I also decided to make other related endogender flags as well :>
The flags colors are pretty simple, I just used the colors from their corresponding flags, and edited it to be more desaturated (since that is the style the endogender flags I’ve seen have). For endo -proxvir and -juxera, the green stripe is like the arrows/triangles in the proxvir and juxera flags. Proxvir points down (and has a slightly darker green), so the green stripe is on the bottom. Juxera is the same idea, but opposite. Also, I decided to just combine the 2 pink stripes and blue stripes, they’re pretty similar colors and I didn’t want to add new stripes.
Sure :), here’s alt flags for zerogender. One version with a symbol, and one without.
There’s no specific meaning to the stripes, it just uses warm green colors like how you asked. I figured a 7 stripe flag with white in the center seemed like a classic design for a gender flag. The seed symbols I drew myself, using the same colors as the base flag.
It’s a bit simple but I hope you like it. I’m open to any suggestions if you want something changed.
Look! I made! A thing! About the agender spectrum, including my design proposal for an agender spectrum flag. 😀
This is meant to be informational and helpful, and I hope people like it! All credits/sources are in the last image. The full PDF version of this thing is available for download here from my Google Drive. It also has the links in the credits clickable, so you can view the original citations and sources! :>
(Also the image choice on the first slide is meant to be a pun on wood primer. In case anyone’s curious what’s up with that, lol)
[image ID; nine identical illustrations of a double helix/a strand of DNA, although the colors are different. The first strand is colorpicked from the sapphic flag; the two sides are two different shades of light pink, and connecting them are stripes of light purple and yellow. The second strand is colorpicked from the polysexual/polyromantic flag. The sides are blue and pink and the middle is green. The third strand is colorpicked from the demiboy flag. The sides are two shades of gray, and in the middle there is a blue stripe, a white stripe, two blue stripes, a white stripe, and another blue stripe. The fourth strand is colorpicked from the genderflux flag. The sides are yellow and dark pink, and in the middle the stripes are the same dark pink, lighter pink, gray, light blue, blue, and the same yellow. The fifth strand is colorpicked from the agender flag. The sides are black and gray, and in the middle there is a white stripe, a green stripe, two white stripes, a green stripe, and a white stripe. The sixth strand is colorpicked from the asexual flag. The sides are black and purple, and the middle stripes alternate gray and white. The seventh strand is colorpicked from the demigirl flag. The sides are two shades of gray, and in the middle there is a pink stripe, a white stripe, two pink stripes, a white stripe, and a pink stripe. The eighth strand is colorpicked from the demisexual flag. The sides are gray and purple, and in the middle the stripes are white, with one large black triangle on each set of three. The ninth strand is colorpicked from the aromantic asexual flag. The sides are orange and dark blue, and there are six stripes in the middle, which alternate yellow, white and blue. End image ID]

Butchness: describing an unfeminine identity or a gender expression linked to unfemininity, a slang commonly adopted by GNC women and LGBTQIA people.
Seems that this flag is regardless of orientation, although this word is historically associated with lesbianity (before bisexuality and homosexuality became separated), a straight woman could be butch depending the definition.
Abinary (also called aphorian) describes a gender experience completely removed from the gender binary, being separate from male, female, masculine, feminine, and anything in between or derived from them. While nonbinary refers to any gender that is not strictly binary male or binary female and can include identities such as demiboy or demigirl, abinary falls outside of even those categories. This identity falls under the aporagender and atrinary umbrellas.
While this identity seems identical to the term anobinary, the difference is that anonbinary can still include being feminine, masculine, and agender.
Identities that fall under the abinary label are agender, maverique, stellarian, aporagender, outherine, and many identities under the xenogender label.
A similar identity would be exobinary, which is an identity completely outside or independent of binary genders.
hello. atrinary falls under abinary umbrella but one could be trinary and abinary (ternabinary), so abinary is not essentially atrinary. for example, if you include neutrois as the tertiary gender in the trinarity (triple gender arity), one could suptilian mononeutrois/mononeutrois (meaning one experiences a strictly (static stable) singular neutral gender, so suptiligender (kymenian+diastimian) and monogender). a form of suptiliabinary and monoabinary. I’m not including comgender/allogender as neutrois or third-genders could be represented by agenderness (monoagender/suptiliagender).
Outherine refers to genders that are not feminine, masculine, neutral, or androgynous and yet are not xenine either – it instead refers specifically to atrinary anthrogenders. This identity is a gender quality, as opposed to a gender itself, hence the choice to call it a “gender” in quotations for this post.
Outherinity does not refer to any one type of gender experience and is not specifically a fifth gender quality. Instead, it refers to an infinite number of non-xenic gender qualities outside of masculine, feminine, neutral, and androgynous.
Some outherine identities include maveriqueand aporagender, but someone may consider any of their gender experiences to be outherine – someone may be both masculine and neutral, but view that experience as something unique enough to be called outherine.
There aren’t any specific similar terms to outherine, as it’s an umbrella term for many identities, but this list includes examples of genders that may be considered outherine.
A system used to describe how much a person is able to feel a certain type of attraction.
For example, a demiromantic individual could say their romantic capacity is demi.
Union attraction – ∪
Used to connect two capacity prefixes to describe when an individual can experience attractions that fall under either or both terms. This means the individual may experience both types of attraction or only one at a given time.
For example, someone who is (demi∪nide)romantic may experience general romantic desires towards anyone and may have either general romantic desires or urges for specific romantic activities with people whom one has developed a close connection with
Intersection attraction –
∩
Used to connect two capacity prefixes to describe when an individual can experience only attractions that fall under both terms. This means the individual only may experience attractions that fall under both types.
For example, someone who is (demi∩nide)romantic would only experience romantic attraction to someone with whom one has developed a close connection to them, and this would be limited to general romantic desires without urges for specific romantic activities
PanSpike – Someone who identifies predominantly as pansexual. However, they feel closer to greysexual or asexual due to their own personal history (whatever that may be) but still acknowledge their capacity to be potentially sexually attracted to someone, regardless of how their partner might identify in regards to gender or sex.
Flag inspired by the acespike flag. This identity would ideally fall somewhere between greysexual and pansexual if one wants an exact “placement” for where this falls within the LGBTQ community.
is an allo-spec/grey sexual spectrum identity that describes someone who experiences sexual attraction and/or wants a sexual relationship, but upon having sex, is very rarely able to feel sexual pleasure with said partner(s). This could be due to severe dissociation or other issues.
If you feel this is something that needs professional attention, please seek out a therapist or sex therapist. This label is not an excuse to not seek out professional attention when it’s negatively affecting your own sex life/wellness/etc.
A term for those who feel they are both cupiosexual and pansexual. While they might have little to no sexual attraction (but enjoy sexual relationships/actions with a partner), they pay no mind to the gender identity or sex identity of their partner (as long as everyone consents and is of legal age for clarity sake).
Flag inspired by – one of the alternative flags I’ve found on the web for “cupiosexual”.
My friend and I were talking about cupiosexual and pansexual, and how trauma often interferes with one’s ability to figure out “sexual attraction”. We were talking and were like “ya’ know? Maybe it is possible to be cupio and pan at the same time” so thus, this flag was made. For clarity, you DO NOT need to be neurodivergent and/or have experienced trauma to use this flag.
A term used to describe a transgender individual who identifies fully or partially with an Omnine gender. It can be considered umbrella term for individuals who transition to an omnine identity.
(shortened to OUIN) is an umbrella term for all genders which are Outherine in nature (OUIN). It can be used as an umbrella term for any genders that are primarily related to outherinity. A gender nature/gingender/gender in nature
A term used to describe a transgender individual who identifies fully or partially with an epicene gender. It can be considered umbrella term for individuals who transition to an epicene identity.
The first flag follows the most common format for trans- flags, and the second is the newer format
had the idea for this a while ago, and just now finally put it together! the card suits are common symbolism amongst the aspec community, so this design of combining all the suits together popped in my head one day, and i think itd be a perfect symbol to represent all aspecs and the various aspec identities!
and here is the symbol colored with the ace and aro flags, with two aro varients:
heres the components of the symbol, so you can change the colors (like to represent different aspec identities!) if youd like:
etymology: varia ( portuguese: vary, conjugated ) + amour ( french: love )
definition: a term for a general feeling of love, affinity or attraction towards a person/people, but specifically due to feeling multiple types of attraction at once, having a naturally confusing attraction or the attraction fluctuating in some way.
for example: although the attraction may change, something still remains, and it might be vague, confusing or maybe you might just not feel up to finding it out or explaining it.
not necessarily aspec, but can be.
other words: variamourity, variamouric, _varian ( homovarian, panvarian, etc )
flag meaning: the dark stripes are for the feeling or attraction that remains. the indigo stripes are for fluidity. the magenta stripes are for queerness.
coiner’s note: variamouric was the first term i coined, but by accident and lack of information, it was very close to amari, specially the amari remake. i deleted the original post, but there are reblogs around in some blogs.
since it was a term i loved, i decided to change its definition and remake it a little bit. i might also make new terms under it or based on it, if i feel like it, lol.
( ID: a flag with seven stripes, in the following colors: dark purple, indigo, light indigo, white, light magenta, magenta and dark purple. All stripes are somewhat muted. /End ID )
It recently came to my attention that there was a gap in the language we had to talk about our experiences in the autistic community. We have nonverbal and semiverbal to discuss our ability to speak with our mouth parts, but not our use of language itself.
So I created a few possible options, and sent out a poll, so that we could coin a new pair of terms to allow us to discuss our experiences. An overwhelming majority (73.3%) of responses liked nonlexic and semilexic. So, to help us discuss our experiences, I give to you:
Lexic: Root Origin – Greek; Definition- of or related to words, speech, and language.
Nonlexic – The total loss of ability to comprehend, process, and produce language.
Semilexic – The partial loss of ability to comprehend, process, and produce language.
This is ky take on the Decagender flag. It’s inspired by the current (and, from what Ki can tell, only) flag for the term by a Miraheze user going by Anderson.
Decagender is a multigender in which one experiences ten distinct genders.
IMAGE ID: A rectangular flag made up of 6 horizontal stripes and some differently coloured stripes in the middle. In the middle is a triangle, pointing towards the top of the flag. Within this triangle, the stripes are different colours to the outside of it. The stripes from top to bottom inside the triangle are yellow, light orange, orange, rust orange, dark rust orange, dark rusty red. Outside of the triangle, the stripes from top to bottom are light blue, medium blue, indigo, light purple, pink, light pink. END ID
They are illustrating my gender experiences, for me they seem to be non-binary woman symbols. But in reality they are archaic alchemical symbols for sublimate of copper antimoniate salt and of an antimony salt.
:
i’ve been searching everywhere trying to find specific terms for these that aren’t just bisexual, so i coined them
Femskoliosexual / Femskolioromantic
having sexual and/or romantic attraction for women and non-binary people
Mascskoliosexual / Mascskolioromantic
having sexual and/or romantic attraction for men and non-binary people
This is my take on the alternative disability flag (the one that the original designer @capricorn-0mnikorn came up with because their very pretty but bright thin high-contrast zigzag one was too hard on a lot of people’s brains). I really like the muted colours and broader stripes on the new one a lot, but I don’t like the vertical lines one they came up with very much (this one)
because it reminds me of military decorations, so I thought a diagonal might work better – partly it’s more dynamic, and also because it represents the uphill struggle we all have getting accessibility and agency as disabled people.
I’m curious to know what people think. Could be less steep 🙂
Edited to add IDs thanks to @capricorn-0mnikorn (I ran out of spoons to do that)
[image description 1: a charcoal grey flag 3 units high by 4 units long. A five-color striped band (blue, yellow, cream, red, and green) crosses the middle at a slight angle running from lower left to upper right. Description ends]
[Image description 2: The same, except that the five-striped band is completely vertical. Description ends]
Further edit: original designer has replaced their previous version with this now:
I love female fags, male dykes, trans mtftms and ftmtfs. I adore genderqueer genderfreaks who fuck gender and hug eachother. A kiss to every bi lesbian, every asexual lesbian, every mspec gay guy married to his beard who he’s in love with. A smile and a nod to all the incomprehensible degenerates who are holding hands when they get pelted with rocks on the street for being visible and a menace to society. I pour one out for all the faggot dykes, femme butches, agender aromatic asexuals, high femmes and stone butches. This one goes out to the freaks of nature who queer queerness and are left to martyrdom by those who should love them, you are loved by me.
All terms I’ve created are based on this post. These are accessible versions of those flags.
Please do not use those flags and terms if you are not autistic. /gen

Let’s talk about the popular and sorta controversial gay flag from @gayflagblog, shown below. please check out my sources linked throughout the post for yourself.
The Reason a Flag is Needed In The First Place
The rainbow flag has always been the most popular flag for gay men to signify gay-ness and still is, even though this flag is gaining some popularity. Because of the centring of (cis, white, rich) gay men in general, due to our world’s generally patriarchal modern structure, society’s image of the LGBT+ community, the rainbow flag from 1978 and its new 6 stripe form has often been mistakenly attributed to gay men in particular, despite the rainbow flag being a deliberately inclusive flagthat includes all LGBT+ people. So, for a while, gay men and lesbians didn’t have popular, widely used flags for our specific identities as gay men and lesbians, though more flags started to be popularised for specific identities, such as bisexual, transgender and asexual while previous lesbian and gay male flags hadn’t achieved widespread use. Lesbians and gay men started using the internet to figure out specific identity flags. why? because enough people wanted something more specific.
The Objections
I’m going to go through some reasons that some people have for not only not using this flag, but discouraging its use by other people.
‘‘It’s ugly’‘
I disagree, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. this isnt an actual reason to discourage use of this flag.
people have started making fun of the flag by saying that it looks ‘’like toothpaste’’. I think this is just people who mistakenly believe that this flag has big problems (that im going to debunk in this post) and are making fun of it because of that, rather than the appearance of the flag being their main problem with it.
‘‘it was made by a *insert bad adjective here* person’‘
A lot of people seem to believe that the @gayflagblog flag was ‘’made by a truscum/misogynist/[insert bad adective here’]’. Personally i don’t believe that because a symbol was made by someone you don;t agree with or who has done harm, doesnt mean it is necessarily unusable. I think it should be on a case-by-case basis and based on whether you are actually perpetuating those ideas or providing camouflage for dangerous movements by using the symbol, but lets talk about whether this objection is based in facts.
@gayflagblog is an anonymous account that does not talk about issues that are not to do with the flag, and specifically has made the flag inclusive of all gay men, which makes these accusations factually baseless.
here is why people began believing this.
[ID: gayflagblog flag left, Pride-flags flag right]
A blogger with transmedicalist views, @discourse-king on tumblr (now deactivated) posted the flag that mod Hermy made, and worded the post in a way that made it seem like they had created it. The post got more reach than the original post on Deviantart.
@gayflagblog and mod Hermy are not transmedicalists. discourse-king was a truscum/transmed blog, but they didnt make either flag.
‘‘i dont like that it mainly uses the colour blue because it seems stereotypical’‘
The colour blue is definitely the stereotypical masculine colour. That doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be used to represent men, however. there are several pride flags that utilise pink and blue to represent men and women, such as the pansexual, bisexual and transgender flags.
[ID: pansexual, bisexual and transgender flags]
note: the bisexual flag’s stated colour meanings for the pink and blue are same genders and other genders, but it is still a good example of a stereotypically gendered colour scheme and the gender stereotypes associated with these colours are present in many people’s interpretations of the flag)
It’s understandable to be uncomfortable with the dominance of blue in the standard @gayflagblog flag ,however, there are variations of the flag that have less blue in them.
the presence of blue in the flag is an obvious choice, but the creator could have scaled it back a bit in my opinion.
it’s stolen from the sunset lesbian flag’’
[ID: 7 stripe and 5 stripe gay man and lesbian flags side by side, One lesbian flag is upside down to show different alignments]
this is what happens when you try to make the sunset lesbian flag look like the gay man flag using photshop’s hue shift feature. not only are the colours not the correct luminosity/brightness, they are much less diverse in hue than they need to be. the amounts of the colour spectrum that we label as certain colours like pink, orange, green, purple are not equal in size.
[ID: photoshop colour picker]
as you can see, the size of the ‘’orange’’ part of the spectrum is much smaller than the ‘’blue’’ side of the spectrum. the idea that this flag was created literally by hue shifting is mathematically impossible.
So we know just by looking at it that this flag was inspired by the 2018 sunset lesbian flag, but is it a problem that this gay flag was partly inspired by this lesbian flag? Well, firstly we have to figure out how original the sunset lesbian flag is in the first place, and actually, the origins of this lesbian flag are a lot more gay (of the male variety) than you may expect.
Wow. that’s complicated. I’m sure I left out a lot of history in this chart, but you get the general idea. Gay and lesbian symbols have always been very intertwined, inseparable, it seems.
How do you copy a flag that is a merging of 2 versions of another flag, that was copied from another flag, that was inspired by 2 flags that were inspired by another flag? this isn’t a case of copying, it’s chaotic flag-ception. it’s actually quite beautiful, gay and lesbian communities interacting and making art throughout the years.
We came from the Gilbert Baker rainbow flag, to the Leather and Bear flags, to an obscure flag made by Fausto Fernós, that was turned into a borderline-copied lipstick lesbian flag, that turned into a gay male flag, a general lesbian flag and a butch flag, and those flags were smooshed together by many different internet users into another flag with influence from the trans flag (and I believe the green, grey and black aromantic flag was also an influence but I would have to ask the internet users who were creating combinations such as Emily Gwen, whos version of the combined sunset lesbian flag got the most popularity), and that smooshed together with the gay flag and the other Frankenstein lesbian flag into the gay flag you see at the bottom. Isn’t queer art amazing?
My point here is not to say that copied or heavily inspired flags are a bad thing, though. this is the nature of queer symbols. we arent divided into separate factions who only unite for the occasional issue, we are constantly mixing with each other, because we have similar political needs. A huge amount of us LGBT+ people have gone through multiple labels, personally i have lived as a bisexual girl, a cis lesbian, a nonbinary genderfluid pansexual person with a preference for women, a bisexual/omnisexual trans boy, an abrosexual trans boy, and a genderfluid gay/opalian/technically also bisexual trans man. the categories we have between experiences of gender and sexuality are lines we have drawn, they are not clearly defined and they are not objective, and that’s okay. despite the different words that we use to describe ourselves, we are all impacted by the way the world reacts to our divergence from the most common norms of sexuality, sex, romance and gender.
This isn’t a case of one artist claiming another artist’s work as their own, or maliciously profiting off of another party’s labour, those situations are deceptive and potentially harmful. So where does the idea that because a queer symbol, (something used in a fashion similar to folk songs, where the ownership is communal and the art is always evolving) is inspired or even copied, it is therefore bad, come from?
Capitalism.
The structure of the societies and systems we live in have shaped the way we see the world, and it has happened from such young ages that we haven’t even noticed. we view everything as something that could potentially be commodified for profit. we don’t think of it this way consciously, but the evidence is there in the way we interact with many things, including queer art and queer symbols. I recommend this video from Patricia Taxxon that questions the legal institution of intellectual property, even if you don’t agree with her overall point that the legal institution of intellectual property is a problem, it will still give anyone reading this a critical look at the way we subconsciously think about art.
I guess the bigger point of this post isnt really ‘’stop telling people not to use the blue purple and green gay flag’’, though you really should stop doing that.
It’s this: Let’s de-commodify queerness and de-capitalize our minds.
I’m really sick and tired of the demonization of the gay men/Nblm pride flag.
“It copied the lesbian flag” yeah and the lesbian flag copied flags created by gay men.
We literally copied off of each other, stop looking for excuses to hate gay men/nblm. And I know a lot of these same people are white because they’re constantly trashing and disregarding mlm and deciding to ignore the struggles of POC mlm. Y’all are so disgusting and sheltered, it’s beyond me.
Here’s a link to the document if people want to use it and the source I used for the cougar pride flag.
@butchspace I loooooove your orange butch flag. and i thought it’d be cool to splice together the lipstick lesbian & orange butch flag. as well as add the More Color More Pride stripes.
and mod T from butchspace suggested a great idea of having the white stripe symbolize those who dont ID as femme or butch.
i think this combo would be a great flag for the general lesbian community. i always see the lipstick femme flag used as the default for the lesbian community on tumblr. which is an act that treats femininity as the default, and makes butches feel left out and ignored.
[Image: A flag with 7 stripes. The first three go from dark blue-green to light blue-green. The center is white. The bottom three stripes go from light to dark blue. It was designed to mirror the lesbian flag]
[Original post about it here] [Deviantart original posting with updated description here] [ @archivalflags more detailed post about it here]
Mod Hermy of the Pride-Flags Deviantart here: I just found out during my hiatus from this blog that there’s been a lot of discourse surrounding this flag that I helped make.
APPARENTLY some truscum/transmed took this flag and reuploaded it (that got 8.2k notes vs the 9 notes my original post has),
wording it in a way that made people think it was made by them (and
also “official”). Also, it seems like it’s been co-opted by truscum and
transphobes to exclude trans and nonbinary gay men.
I am beyond pissed off at this, especially since I don’t remember anyone telling me it was stolen.
To be very clear:
Inever want any of my flags being used to exclude part of the LGBTQAI+/MOGAI community. I am fully supportive of all
aspec identities, “MOGAI” genders (including xenogenders, kingenders,
neurogenders and neurorientations) pronoun noncomforming gays and
lesbians (or anyone, really), GNC trans people, people who use the SAM,
low/non-dysphoric trans people, and anyone else who may get excluded.
Basically, any identity (that’s notcentered around harming people or animals) is amazing and valid.
Also this
was never meant to be a finalized design (especially since I’m nonbinary and bi), it was simply a suggestion
since the anon that asked me about a gay man flag suggested one that was too similar to the butch lesbian flag. They never followed up on it so I posted it on Deviantart for opinions but didn’t get much interaction there. I saw it around a few times but didn’t realize it took off like that and was being credited to a truscum, no less.
I’m not quite sure what to do regarding damage control around the exclusionists that are using my flag, but I started by working with several gay men in a pride, and my personal server to come up with meanings for each stripe (based on @gayflagblog ‘s flag) that explicitly include GNC, nonbinary, trans, ace/arospec, split-attraction, and pronoun nonconforming gay men (also made it prettier).
[Image: The same flag as above but with meanings superimposed over each stripe: [Community] [Inclusion] [She/her and pronoun noncomforming gays] [GNC, nonbinary, and trans men] [Ace/arospec and split-attraction gays] [Love and attraction] [Diversity]]
Here’s a better version made by @gayflagblog to deal with the problems with my proposal/suggestion:
[Images: Two flags made to look similar to the first flag but with bolder colors. The blue stripes are slightly more purple and the green stripes are slightly more green. The first flag has seven stripes and the second is a simplified 5-stripe version]
And [Here] are some more gay man/MLM flags (including PNC and SAM gays) made by other people that I’ve been collecting (gallery is incomplete though).
Bringing this back for pride month! Help this get more notes than the post that stole it
Polyvariangled (formerly ambivarioriented/equivarioriented): an individual who has various orientations for multiple relationships. For example, one may be asexual and alloromantic to one partner, whilst being aromantic and allosexual to another partner. This may also include tertiary attractions, such as platonic, sensual, or other.
Must have different orientations for different individuals
Must be polyamorous or biamorous

Incusexual – a type of multisexuality where a person engages in sexual relationships with others with the idea of feeding off sexual energies when one engages in sexual activities with someone.
There’s many spiritual and religious beliefs that beyond a soul, there are other energies around us. Sensual and sexual energies are often believed to be some of the strongest (look at Hellenism and Hinduism just for examples off of the top of my head). In some circles, the idea of “Eros Vampires” are vampires who feed off of the sexual energy of their partner (consensually).
Flag is based off of the “Incubian” flag (changed the bottom stripe to black, partially because it’s easier on most resolutions and eyes than the other flag it had).
The name “Incusexual” was chosen BECAUSE “Incubus” just means “to lie on top” (simplified: a “top” in the bedroom). There’s actual no inherent “incubus means boy, succubus means girl”, there’s are social constructs attached to word, likely from the overall patriarchal society we live in that pushes the narrative “BOYS MUST BE DOMINANT, GIRLS MUST BE SUBMISSIVE”.
Someone who chooses the term “Incusexual” for themselves might strongly attach themselves to pansexuality (or other type of multisexual identity such as polysexual or bisexual) since sex acts themselves, they care not for the sex or gender of said person while in the act with them.
Gender arity is separated from gender modalities, but you can use atrinary/abinary to illustrate how you feel towards gender modalities. Some may use iso/abs/meta as a non-binary/abinary modality, why not other arities‽
I noticed most detransitioner flags are either made by transphobes or not very pretty so I thought I’d try my hand. free to use by anyone who isn’t anti trans of course.
I’m not an mspec lesbian, but I’ve been researching and involved in discourse for about a year now, so I’ll give it a shot. @bi-lesbian has a lot of good information on faer blog if you want to check that out.
(1) The non-men loving non-men definition is… not something I’m a fan of. That throws the complexity of gender out the window and comes off as equating nonbinary lesbians to Basically Women. This definition leaves out multigender lesbians (like me!), nonbinary lesbians with a partial connection to maleness, or genderfluid lesbians who are sometimes men. The definitions I like that are more inclusive are “queer attraction to women” or “women, or those with some connection to womanhood, who love women (or those with some connection to womanhood).”
(2) The “whole point” of lesbianism is NOT to not include men. The “whole point” of lesbianism is ✨women✨. I don’t want to define myself around men, full stop. I’m a lesbian because I love women and whether I’m attracted to men or not has nothing to do with it. Not everything has to be about men, jfc tumblr. (Anger is not necessarily directed at you, anon, just the partriarchy that taught us we have to talk about men all the time constantly).
(3) See point (1) for someone identifying as both a man and a lesbian, and as far as being unable to identify as a lesbian and also being attracted to men… pre-1970s, the term lesbian included all women (and transmasc/nonbinary people though the terminology wasn’t quite there yet) who loved women. Bisexuals and other mspecs, totally included. Then, radfems- because it’s always radfems- decided “eww man icky” and pushed anyone associated with men out of their community. Bisexuals were excluded from lesbian spaces and had to form their own community, but lesbian used to include all WLW (functionally how we might use sapphic now) and some people want to reclaim the historical definition.
(4) Sexuality is fluid, and complex. Much like dividing gender into “men” and “non-men” doesn’t work, dividing attraction into “attracted to men” and “not attracted to men” doesn’t really work either. The split attraction model (different romantic and sexual orientations) allows for the possibility of someone being biromantic homosexual or bisexual homoromantic- both bi and a lesbian. There are also forms of alterous attraction- sensual, aesthetic, queerplatonic, etc. Orientation is typically defined around sexual/romantic attraction, so if someone is a lesbian in those attractions but is alterously attracted to men and other genders, they could fall under mspec lesbian. It’s also possible to be unsure if you’re attracted to men and include yourself with both communities, or feel attraction to men so little the lesbian experience resonates with you, or feel attraction to men but only form relationships with women. Like I said, you really can’t divide it into attracted to men or not.
(5) Mspec doesn’t necessarily mean attracted to men, either. Polysexuality is being attracted to many but not all genders. So by your definition, non-men attracted to non-men, lesbians can be attracted to all genders that are not men. Which is a lot of genders, if you’re not transphobic and think nonbinary is Basically Woman. A woman who loves women and nonbinary people is attracted to multiple genders (mspec) and attracted to non-men (lesbianism), so your own ask already confirmed that this is possible.
(6) It’s not lesbophobic. It’s just people living their lives and describing themself in the terms they think fit best. No one’s saying all lesbians have to be attracted to men. The entire point isn’t that it doesn’t involve men, the entire point doesn’t surround men at all. The entire point is loving women, regardless of the inclusion or lack thereof of other genders. It’s much more lesbophobic to force lesbians to talk about men in every aspect of our identity than to let lesbians like men or not like men or just live our lives loving women.
An umbrella term for all genders that are Evenic and/or Cusper in an androgynous sense.
Evencuspsolum in itself is simply any (or it’s own) gender that’s is either between male and female, both male and female, is a gender that feels evenic in an androgynous way, or is cusper (between being trans and a gnc cis person).
Simply, it’s an umbrella term for any genders that feels like it’s “between” male and female, and/or a gender that feels evenic between trans and cis. An umbrella term for any cusper and/or evenic gender.
Someone who’s Evencuspsolum may present in an androgynous style, may ID with Cusper/Evenic/Androgynous/Bigender/etc, or ID with cisgender, GNC, and/or transgender.
(NOTE: Both cusper and evenic are being used in this definition due to similarities between the two. Cusper typically being used as a term for being explicitly between trans and GNC cis, while Evenic is between any genders and by definition can include cusper-like genders.)

Koala (Bear) / Teddy (Bear)
A koala bear, or teddy bear, is a queer man who is generally small/short (though not always), chubby, and hairy or “fluffy”. They may also just be called “koalas” or “teddies”. This term can be a subset of bear or cub depending on who uses it. Koala bears may range from moderately hairy, to very hairy, and can be any age.
Koala bears are generally soft, and/or prefer a more gentle or “cute” presentation, similar to a teddy bear (hence the names). Koala bears are a blend of this and rugged masculinity that is often found in the bear subculture.
Keep in mind that those who fall under the definition of this term do not have to use them. The bear subculture is a diverse one, and being soft/cute/etc. does not mean you have to use a subterm. This is an option for those who want it and feel comfortable with it.
It’s important to remember that the definition of “cisgender” in terms of gender experience is somebody who identifies with the gender that they were assigned.
What this means for intersex cis people is that, whatever sex they were assigned at birth, the correlating gender associated with that sex is the gender they would identify as. For instance, if a person who had ambiguous genitalia at birth was assigned female sex at birth, and they grow up and identify with female/womanhood as a gender, they would be cis. The same goes for those who may be assigned male.
It’s a little more complicated for those who had their sexes re-assigned. There are cases of intersex people being reassigned to female or male during their lives and identifying with their birth sex but having to transition back. Those people may consider themselves cis, but they may also identify as trans (this is where it is up to the individual to decide whether they feel they are transgender or cisgender). There are also those who are re-assigned a sex identify as cisgender after their re-assignment (One of my best friends in high school was like this).
Intergender, in the context of intersex-intergender, is a word that is both a modifier and a whole identity. “Intergender” is defined as a way of expressing that one’s intersex existence influences their gender identity. Hence people may identify entirely as intergender or may say they are an intergender + whatever genders they feel (for example, an intergender transfem nonbinary person, or an intergender genderqueer man, so on and so forth). It’s important to note that previous to the intersex adoption of the term that “intergender” is also another word for “combined genders” similar to bigender in its notion of being both a man and woman (although bigender is not always someone who feels like both a man and a woman, and can be any combination of 2 genders).
Intersex cis people can also use ‘intergender’ and still be cis. This is because intergender as a word can act as a modifier. It does not denote inherent trans/nonbinary identity. Another word that intersex cis people have used in the past to describe their relationship to their intersex experience while still identifying as their assigned sex/gender is Ipsogender. Ipsogender refers to an intersex person who identifies as their assigned sex/gender.
Intersex cis people can use whatever words they want to identify their gender. Most of them refer to themselves as a man/woman, depending on the gender they were assigned at .
Intergender can fall under the non-binary umbrella, but it does not always fall under it. Again, this is because the word has multiple meanings (and that’s perfectly fine, as long as you understand context!). Intergender as a modifier term to reflect one’s experience being intersex can be used by cis intersex people. I don’t see any point in trying to state that it’s for intersex trans/nonbinary use only if the word fits intersex cis experiences, personally.
TL;DR:
Intergender as a word can be used as a modifier to describe one’s relationship to their intersex identity. It can be used by all intersex people in this way, cis, trans, nonbinary or of a cultural gender.
Intergender as a whole identity can sometimes be considered a nonbinary identity, but it depends on the individual’s definition of their intergender identity.
I hope this helps – if there’s anything I need to elaborate on, let me know.
-Mod Rose
I’m gonna add to this that there’s also the term ipsogender for intersex people whose gender identities match their assigned gender. I’m ipsogender and honestly the term “cis” just doesn’t feel right to me – in so many ways I relate more to trans people than I do to cis people, and my gender journey has been deeply affected by my intersex-ness. Also the fact that (coerced) medical intervention happened to make me appear feminine adds to me discomfort with the term cis.
Because my gender is tied to my intersexness I identify my gender as as an intergender ipsogender gnc/genderqueer woman. To me intergender, or integender to avoid the confusion with the term created by and used by androgyne enbies, is a modifier, but for some people they feel it does a more complete job on its own of describing one’s gender.
So. Would anyone in thee community kindly explain the concept of romantic attraction to a very confused ace because I’m not entirely clear on the difference between romantic and platonic attraction and people trying to explain it with “yknow, like sexual attraction” is just adding to my confusion here
When romanticly attracted to someone I tend to feel a desire to do strictly romantic things with them. I want to have candle lit dinners and talk about the reasons I feel that way for them. I usually have an overwhelming sense of wanting to be around them, and sometimes not to do anything just to hold hands and watch the stars at night. I wonder what kissing them would feel like. I want to hold hands or dance with them. I want to be sitting in front of the tv watching a show running my fingers through their hair. I want to say I love you to them. I want to whisper all the reasons I love them as I lie beside them in the dark. It is feeling like I could entrust my heart to them. I would kill or die for them. That is to me what romantic atrraction equates to.
Platonic attraction is realizing someone could be a part of my crew. Its the desire to get to know someone better. Its realizing i would do crazy stunts with them and complain about life. It is realizing i want to be friends with this person. But the distinction is that i dont want to do anything inherently romantic with them. I usually dont feel inclined for anything physical besides an occassional hug.
For me it isn’t a spectrum of platonic < alterous < romantic attractions.
While I don’t feel romantic attraction, I do feel both platonic and alterous attractions and there is a firm distinction between the two.
When I get a squish on someone, ie am platonically attracted to them, I may want to do the following things with them:
Be best friends
Share secrets
Support each other emotionally
Hug
Cute sweet little platonic kisses on the forehead
Live with them
Movie nights
Talk to them a lot
Etc
Basically I want a close, commited platonic relationship with them. I’m not jealous of romantic partners though I may be very protective of my squish and jealous of someone else spending more platonic time with them than me.
Alterous attraction is altogether different. It’s not “partway between platonic and romantic”. When I get what has been termed either a plush or a squash depending on who you talk to, I want:
To be The Most important person to them
To have an emotional bond
To support each other emotionally
With this type of attraction I am more likely to get jealous of a romantic partner, not because of the dating itself but rather because that person is likely to be the most important person to them and be the closest to them emotionally. I’m not going to go all “Teardrops on My Guitar” but I will often wish that I was the one dating them because of the way our society prioritises romantic relationships.
For me there is no hierarchy. I find alterous plushes to be more intense than platonic squishes but that doesn’t mean that alterous attraction is in any way “better” than platonic. I’ll admit that when I see romantic attraction in others it can seem a bit frivolous to me but as it’s not something that I feel I can’t really judge.
So that’s that. Now, I am not the supreme ruler of who gets to use the word “alterous”. Anyone may use that word if they feel it fits them. But this is my experience of it, and I hope this explanation helps people to gain some more insight into this type of attraction.
You can be all that. But I know some people would say no too. No matter what other people say, some people have complex relationships with gender. I’d say boyflux could be a word for it, or boyfluid (even boyfluix/binaryfluidflux).
And if you feel connected to nonbinaryness, you can use nonbinary-aligned to express this feeling.
Usually it’s also possible to be genderless in the sense of one’s philosophy (gender nihilism, gender anarchy, gender atheism, gender abolitionism, gender skepticism, gender apathy), sometimes embraced by quoigender, while still being gendered.
Cistrian :: feeling cis in a nonhuman / alterhuman / extranth way
this term is not plural/system exclusive!

A long time ago, I made some flower flags for Duaric,
Julietian, and Romeric because there weren’t any flags in a similar theme to the Sapphic and Achillean for them, let alone for most of the gender-loving-gender terms. The flower I used for them is the red rose.
I posted these flags on the LGBTA community, and now I’m posting them here I guess? You might notice they look a bit different compared to the versions on the LGBTA wiki, and that’s because I’ve edited them a bit. I resized the flowers, and removed the yellow at the center of the flower.
So yeh, enjoy these flower flags! Also nice to meet y’all, I’m new to the lgbtq/mogai tumblrhood.
For the Agatic flag above, I picked the marigold for its flower. Marigolds are often symbols of strength, power, and the sun.
As for the Asterosian flag, I picked the periwinkle for its flower. Periwinkles often symbolize
faith, trust, and everlasting love.
Next on the Flower Flag list is…Ammolic (NblWNb) and Carnelian (NblMNb)! Ammolics and Carnelians, feel free to suggest different flowers for your flags!
In the mean time, I might post a few of my edits of some striped flags I’ve collected over the years. As usual, feel free to alter, use, and edit these flags to your liking! ^o^
Made Bambi orientation flag redesigns. I almost deleted them to clean up my folders, but then I figured that people would enjoy these simplified designs.
and the Rochillic flower flags I created after the duauric, romeric, and julietian flower flags, revamped of course. Added the lil puffs surrounding the wild rose’s stigma, and changed the colors of each. I think they look nicer now!
Up above is the Maedic/WlNb flag. I used a yellow cherry blossom for the flower.
And then this one is the Adonic/MlNb flag. For this one I used the orange tulip as the flower.
If anyone who identifies as Maedic and/or Adonic feel as if a different flower would better suit the term they identify with, let me know. I’m all ears. Next post should be the Agatic and Asterosian flags. I finished the Agatic/WlWNb flag, and am still thinking of what flower to use for the Asterosian/MlMNb flag, so Asterosians? Feel free to suggest a flower you would like for the flag! ^v^
Now, onto the topic of that damned FANDOM merge thing…Yeah, I don’t support it in the slightest. I’m livid. What the actual fuck is FANDOM on? If they actually go through with this (And I’m pretty sure they actually are at this point, we are living in the worst timeline) I can no longer, in any good faith, support their website and will have to boycott them (or use adblocks if I literally can’t find information on something elsewhere), because if something like this can happen to the LGBTQIA community on that site (the disrespect for the community, the high-on-their-horses behavior, etc), it can happen to any ever-evolving community on that site. I can only hope Miraheze or some other wiki hosting site takes its place in popularity. Actually, folks? Let’s make that happen! Let’s make FANDOM deader than MySpace so something better can take its place! ^o^
The complete series of redesigned Pride Angels, featuring Rainbow, Bisexual, Transgender, Lesbian, Pansexual, Intersex, Nonbinary, Genderqueer, and Asexual angels.
“Even within the lesbian community of the 1970s and 1980s, gender/sexuality coloring exerted very different effects on bisexual lesbians with different gender images.”
(This source is from 2004 but it speaks of the 1970s and 1980s.)
“How many bisexual lesbians are there? […] Here’s one way for you to guess how many bisexual women exist in the lesbian community: The next time you find yourself surrounded by lesbians, at a workshop, a bar, a party, a dance, a benefit, a rally, a rap group, a class, ask yourself how many women would still be there if all the bisexual lesbians got up and left. […] It’s just a hypothetical situation, since bisexual lesbians are a large and irremovable part of the lesbian community.”
“We started by trying to define some terms, specifically ‘feminism,’ ‘gay-identified bisexual,’ and ‘bisexual’. Alot of us were amazed to see how many different interpretations each term, especially ‘gay-identified,’ could have. Is someone ‘gay-identified’ because they devote a majority of their time, energy and emotion to the gay community? Or does an individual’s radical critique of heterosexuality make them ‘gay-identified’? And does ‘gay-identified’ also imply ‘women-identified’? Some people felt that one could be gay-identified, and still not be woman-identified. And exactly how many Meg Christian concerts make you ‘lesbian-identified’?”
“It is important for me as a lesbian identified bisexual woman, who is politically dedicated to and active in the feminist movement, to discuss bisexuality as a valid lifestyle, to challenge the prejudices and encourage people to come out. […] My political consciousness is lesbian but my lifestyle is bisexual.”
“Sharon Sumpter is a bisexual lesbian activist and psychotherapist who works with women survivors of abuse, institutionalization and sexual oppression.”
“Most bisexuals consider themselves part of the generic term ‘gay.’ Many are quite active in the gay community, both socially and politically. some of use terms such as ‘bisexual lesbian; to increase our visibility on both issues.”
“I am not just bisexual. I am a lesbian. I am not just a lesbian. I am a bisexual lesbian. […] I have the right to claim my lesbianism And my bisexuality even if it confuses you. I am a lesbian. I am bisexual. I am a bisexual lesbian. Deal with it.”
“A great many bisexual women, particularly those who are feminist and lesbian-identified, have felt both personally and politically rejected and judged by the separatist sisters.”
“The women in this anthology give themselves many names. Bi-dyke, bi-lesbian, bi-feminist, lesbian-identified bisexual, bisexual, bi-affectional, lesbian, and formerly-lesbian bisexual.”
“As most of the writers are ‘lesbian-identified bisexuals’ (one of several labels used for the sake of convenience), the definition of lesbianism is also reevaluated. Is a lesbian a woman who relates emotionally and erotically with women or a woman who does not relate emotionally and erotically with men? Must a woman fit both criteria to be considered a lesbian?”
“Unfortunately, many of my experiences as a lesbian-identified bisexual woman have said to me that having an appearance or demeanor that diverges from the expected means I will not be accepted as truly belonging in the lesbian community.”
“The first step is to move toward building alliances within our bisexual communities. Many communities are united by a commonality of the oppression. This is not so in our community, partly because of the different ways people identify as bisexual: gay-identified, queer-identified, lesbian-identified, or heterosexual-identified.”
“Personally, I am unable to separate out the various ways that I am oppressed (as a woman, as an African American, as a bisexual lesbian, as an impoverished single mother) and say that one oppression is worse than the other, or that I desire one form of liberation more than another.”
“Joan Tollifson relays her struggle to make sense of her life and her spiritual awakening in Bare-Bones Meditation. Born with only one hand, she grew up feeling different, found identity and purpose as a bisexual lesbian and a disability rights activist, but struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.”
“Some behaviourally bisexual people do identify as lesbian or gay – sometimes in conjunction with a bi identity (e.g. ‘gay-identified bisexual’ or ‘bi-dyke’).
“Dahlia identifies as a bisexual lesbian; Aviva used to identify as lesbian and now calls herself as a lesbian-identified bisexual woman; Donna considers herself a ‘bisexual who identifies as a lesbian.’”
This twitter thread is full of photos of banners/signs from dyke marches saying things like “bi dykes” and “bykes” and “i like girls and boys” as well as screenshots from the websites of various city chapters of dyke marches that are explicitly and intentionally inclusive of bi/mspec dykes. (This doubles as a counter to the arguments that mspec people can’t say dyke and that this identity doesn’t exist in real life queer spaces.)
If anyone has some sources that aren’t here, please do share and I’ll add them!
kinda funny how with russians people acknowledge the boundary between a state and its people and how unilaterally rejecting russian things is bad TM but with china people comment under dumpling making vids on tiktok about xi jinpings policies🥱
ok you know what you CAN reblog this, and also imagine if russian people were racialized to the point that you could clock someone for being ‘russian’ just by looking at them and i think it should be fairly understandable why east asian people are terrified by the current rhetoric around china right now

While I’m sure there are people too lazy to spin a fork, keep in mind people like this person who may be suffering from arthritis or a neurological disease or nerve damage or a thousand other conditions that might impair their ability to do things as simple as spin a fork to eat spaghetti.
These are used with people who can’t grip well:
This is for Parkinsons’s:
For people who can’t even bend their joints:
Here’s a product that guides your hand from your plate to your mouth
This one holds a sandwich
Like I get it. I used to see things like the fork and think “that’s fuckin’ lazy” or that product that holds a gallon and you just tip it and pour. But then I started working around the disabled and impaired and found out that these products aren’t meant for lazy people, they’re meant for people who need help.
So maybe next time you see something, instead of thinking “Wow, are people that lazy?” just be grateful that you’re able to do the things you do every day and take for granted, like being able to feed yourself and wipe your own ass because you have enough coordination and bendy joints to do it.
Cupioallatrey is a subset of the overarching Cupio- (and therefore A-spec) label. It describes the tertiary attraction to any gender or genders, but the desire to be in a non-romantic or sexual relationship with a different gender or genders. The gender(s) one is attracted to vs desire to be in a relationship may overlap, but must have some distinction. For example, one could identify as Cupioallatrey Pan Uranic, meaning they feel tertiary attraction to all genders, but only wish to be in a non-sexual/romantic relationship with a man or a non-feminine non-binary person. Cupioallatrey can be combined with other labels.
Etymology
‘Álla’ is the Greek word for ‘other,’ and ‘trey’ is a made-up shorthand for ‘tertiary attraction.’
Affecgender-where your gender changes when you receive affection.
Figured out this is some, so I redesigned the flag!
I also made Catgender and Pupgender versions! For when affection makes your gender feline/canine-like, fluctuate between feline or canine related genders, etc. !
it can be either. it can include those who are exclusively duaric (such as dalaens and bennetians), those who are heterenboric (differosexuals, contraics, enanteics, penultisexuals, etc.) there are several examples of straight queer. the limit is always within ones own self-determination.
A gender is identity where one is partially Juxtaneu, a non-binary gender that is connected, derived from and proximal to epicenity and/or gender-neutrality while being separate and distinct from being Epicene or Neutrois and partially another gender identity or identities.
Etymology
From Latin, “dimedius“, meaning “half” shortened to a prefix of “demi-”” + “juxta”, Latin for “near” or “next to” + “neu”, shorted from Latin, “neutralis”, meaning “neuter”. Juxtaneu was coined by user qxej in 2019. When searching, there did not seem to be an existing flag or coining post for Demijuxtaneu (a Juxtaneu demigender), so I created a flag and post for others to reference if they so choose. Flag and term created by Gent (Gender-Jargon), 2021.

The flag is a simple combination of the demigender flag and the juxtaneu flag. The flag contains the usual dark grey, light grey and white stripes common to demigenders flag, with the center stripes being taken form the Juxtaneu flag. The flag consists of ten horizontal, solid stripes, with the center-most four stripes being half-size. From top to bottom, the stripes were dark grey, light grey, white, dark green, yellow, turquoise, orange, white, light grey and dark grey.
integragender. however that doesn’t specify the genders outside ones assigned gender (cis). transandrogynous sounds closer, however it doesn’t specify cisness. circumgender sounds similar.
utrinque(gender), fulgurmasc and lapisfem are some possible options for plurals/system members.
now I think specifically there doesn’t seem to be a term for that. I really wish someone could coin. “cistrans” could be enough, but just as integragender, trans isn’t just the other binary gender. ambinary could be complementary on that, as it means possessing both binary genders
Due to lack of term (in my most recent ask), I coined one! And also got bored so I designed a flag, though the flag itself is very open to editing if anyone has a better design!
Caligosexual: On the asexual spectrum, defined as feeling sexual attraction that is very weak or vague, almost nonexistent, like a vapor, fog, or mist.

term coined by: unknown

A gender half-conforming individual is one who, due to being multiple genders simultaneously, both conforms to societal expectations of their gender(s) and doesn’t. This individual’s behavior and/or appearance is conventional for people of one or more of their genders to exhibit, but unconventional for people of the other(s), making them both conformant to gender roles and non-conformant to them.
Examples include individuals who’re both male and female behaving in a masculine manner, and individuals who’re female, agender, and androgyne dressing androgynously.
In accordance to the term its derived from, the label “gender half-conforming” may be abbreviated as “GHC”.
Legsbeanic is a gender relating to the Beanie Baby Legs the Frog! It can feel small, soft, playful, hoppy, and froglike but as long as it relates to Legs, it fits!

→ A cisgender man attracted exclusively to men isn’t necessary gay he can be a lesbian if he experiece lesbian attraction, , no matter if this attraction is only directed to men and still consider himself 100% cis man.
Lesbian attraction: it’s when you experiece a romantic/sexual attraction to someone that is lesbian. You feel ‘lesbianity’. Lesbian attraction works like a gender, but not regarding to gender identity but regarding to sexual/romantic attraction.
No hate on the original Sappholatryc flag or @pupyzu, its creator, the flag is beautiful, but I wanted to make my own version with a meaning!
Sappholatryc is simply “a gender connected to the worship of Sappho,” which I relate to. I consider my lesbianism, worship, gender, and the work of Sappho to all be closely linked, and I truly love the term.
I devoted the creation of this flag to Sappho, and by proxy Aphrodite.
Meanings:
Deep purple: Ink, Sappo’s hair, the kthonic/hero worship
Purple: Violets, sapphic love
Lavender: Peace, the ouranic/the heavens
Cream: Clouds, the muse
Beige: To resemble the original flag, paper
Gold: The theoi/deities, immortality
Rust: Roses, Aphrodite’s blessing, mortality
The emblem is directly from the original Sappholatryc flag, and the bottom four stripes are modeled after it because. It’s gorgeous.
Note: Androgynos here refers to the Ancient Hellenic religiogender, not the Jewish gender by the same name. They’re simply both Greek words for similar concepts.
I hadn’t seen any androgynon flags, and since I identify as androgynon—especially in context of my worship—I thought I’d try my hand at it.
Androgynon is, boiled down to its bare bones, “a Hellenist religiogender for individuals who are nonbinary, intersex, androgynous, bigender, and/or bisexual.” The term acts as a gender and epithet. For example, an androgynos god may be bisexual and a “switch” (ie Adonis and Dionysos) or intersex (ie Hermaphroditos).
Meanings:
Gold: Hermaphroditos, the divine
Wine red: Dionysos, blurring of lines
Rose: Adonis, the bisexual androgynos
Navy: The wine-dark sea
Green: The Makhlyes, the intersex androgynon
The first symbol is the symbol for the Divine Nonbinary/Androgynous, the second for the Divine Neutral/Agender, and of course a no symbol version is last.
Aphrodite Lesbian: A lesbian who prefers sexual acts and affection, or who centers sexuality in their relationships
I made an Aphrodite lesbian flag as a devotional act for Aphrodite and especially Aphroditos, because I learned the most popular flag was made by a proud TERF and had a whole stripe for only being attracted to vulvas.
…yeah. It’s bad.
So, here they are!
The stripes’ symbolism is as follows:
Red: Roses, Aphrodite’s blessings (love/lust) Hot pink: Sexuality, attraction to the feminine, trans lesbians Pink: A-spec lesbians, sex-positive asexuals, femme lesbians White: Community, connection, acceptance Light blue: Seafoam, allo lesbians, butch lesbians Blue: The ocean, the variety of lesbians, history Purple: Solidarity and love with bambi lesbians, Sappho and violets
this is being posted here too. It’s going on Every Website because I do not want to lose it. Deal with it, or not
The Pyralignment System is a system of gender alignment intended for use by dragonkin who feel that they experience gender in a uniquely dragon-like way. It is not exclusive, however, and may be used by anyone whose gender relates to or is influenced by dragons, or who just likes the system’s aesthetic.
The names of the system and the genders are inspired by names of tribes from the Wings of Fire series by Tui T. Sutherland, but one is not required to be a fan of nor even to know anything about Wings of Fire to use the system. The names of the genders are taken from the Latin for the names of the tribes.
The alignments are all meant to be used as adjectives. To use one as a noun, remove the “-ic” ending.
Alignments
Pyronoctic “Fiery Night” – named after the NightWing tribe draconic masculine (possibly also miaspec)
Pyroceanic “Fiery Ocean” – named after the SeaWing tribe draconic feminine (possibly also fiaspec)
Pyromeritic “Fiery Desert” – named after the SandWing tribe draconic neutral (possible also niaspec)
Pyrolutic “Fiery Mud” – named after the MudWing tribe draconic androgynous
Pyroglacic “Fiery Ice” – named after the IceWing tribe draconic outherine
Pyridic “Fiery Rainbow” – named after RainWings draconic xenine (possibly also xiaspec)
Pyrocaelic “Fiery Sky” – named after the SkyWing tribe draconic agenrine (possibly also agiaspec)
Combinations
Combination Alignments can be made by stringing together multiple “alignment partials” in order from least to most important, with the most important alignment at the end followed by “-ic.” The individual alignments may all be experienced at one time, or one may be fluid through them.
Pyridonoctolutic: androgynous, masculine, and xenine
Demi, Fluid, and Flux Alignments
Partial alignments are represented by placing “ap(io)” (bee – named after the HiveWing tribe) at the beginning of an alignment combination. Examples include:
Pyroapionoctic: demi-masculine
∙ Pyroapidiolutic: demi xenine and androgynous
To indicate that one’s alignment fluctuates in intensity, the suffix “folic” (leaf – named after the LeafWing tribe) is used. Examples include:
Pyromeritiofolic: neutral, with fluctuating intensity
Pyridoceanofolic: xenine and feminine, with fluctuating intensity
Pyropapilic (butterfly – named after the SilkWing) describes a person who is fluid through, or otherwise experiences, most or all of the alignments in the Pyralignment System. One can also opt to add the alignment they identify with most, if applicable. Example:
Pyroceanopapilic: most or all alignments, but with a focus on feminine

A gender relating to the concept, thoughts, and action of self harm- specifically the feeling or emotion caused by doing an act of self harm. A person who self harms, or has thoughts of it might identify with the label as a sort of coping mechanism. Since the gender has the same feeling as the ones caused by an act of self harm, one could identify with it as an alternative- to simulate the feeling they crave without the need for harm.
This xenogender is exclusive to people who self harm, or those with thoughts of self harming.
Note: I understand how this label could be seen as insensitive or offensive by some who self harm. I wanted to mention that this term was made in purely good intentions, and that I (the coiner) have self harmed before. The important thing to remember is that there are many different ways to cope, and not all methods are beneficial to everyone. If someone finds relief in a xenogender, that’s just how it is. Coping methods like this exist for people who want and need them, so it’s simply here to fulfill that purpose. In short, and put very very bluntly; Your opinions do not override other people’s necessities- and coping methods are necessities.
Personal preference, there isn’t a hard rule on how to guess. I know people who top on certain gender/sex but bottom with other sex/gender. That’s a form of versatility I guess. I don’t think the terms are restricted at LGBT people, pegging can be a form of topping/bottoming. And it’s very rare for cis women to be exclusively top with men I guess.
