1.) Identifying with your AGAB, which is AMAB, while viewing yourself as transitioning towards a masculine identity, having a primarily masculine identity, or presenting masculinely.
2.) Not identifying with your AGAB, and viewing your gender as being masculine, while being trans.
3.) Being fluid between or both of these definitions.
Transfieldian:
1.) Identifying with your AGAB, which is AFAB, while viewing yourself as transitioning towards a feminine identity, having a primarily feminine identity, or presenting femininely.
2.) Not identifying with your AGAB, and viewing your gender as being feminine, while being trans.
3.) Being fluid between or both of these definitions.

These terms were posted sometime vaguely before or on November 27th, 2020. That’s the date I found these terms reblogged on, so unfortunately I currently cannot find the original posting date due to the one wiki these being on is down.
Anyways felt like re-posting these finally, as I remembered some folks actually liked the terms. While searching for these I actually found my Transneutral combos with these terms, so I’ll be posting those as well.
These terms were created back when the vast majority of people viewed Transfem as AMAB-only and Transmasc as AFAB-only, and I jumped on the “AGAB means nothing in transitioning” (for the lack of better words) bandwagon at the time. These terms are pretty similar in function as Admasculine and Adfeminine. That being said these terms aren’t exclusive to anyone.
[ID] Two flags with 7 stripes, the fourth or middle stripe is thinner than the rest. The colors from top to bottom on the Transrainian flag are: midnight blue, dark royal blue, muted blue, pastel robin egg blue, muted blue, dark royal blue, midnight blue. The colors from top to bottom on the Transfieldian flag are: aubergine magenta, wine red, royal heath pink, pastel violet, royal heath pink, wine red, aubergine magenta. [/End ID]
[ID] A DNI (do not interact) banner with a very faded galaxy background. On the left of the banner there’s a flag as with a rounded side, the circle inside it showing an image of a forest on fire, the flag being the Queer flag with nine stripes. The rest of the image is filled with white text that reads: “DNI (Do Not Interact). Against Good Faith Self Identification Or “Contradictory” Identities, Transmed, Sysmed, Group Arospec under Acespec, Anti-Educated Self-Dx, Call Mspec identities “Bispec”, Anti-Alterhuman, Anti-Otherkin, Anti-Chronosian, Against the term Transandromisia (or similar terms), Anti Aldernic, Anti-Altersex, Pro-Contact harmful paras, TransID, Anti-Anti, Proship, “Consang”, Anti-SFW Agere, Demonize Cluster B disorders, Anti-BLM, Anti-ACAB” [/End ID]
labels r fluid and words mean nothing. ppl can and should identify however feels right to them and nobody else has any right to tell them how they can and can’t feel abt who they are. you can’t claim to be inclusive or supportive of queer ppl unless you’re inclusive and supportive of ALL queer ppl.
My disability is caused by Fibromyalgia, a disturbance in the nervous system causing chronic pain and fatigue. Among additional effects I deal with anxiety from it.
Had to retire at the age of 34 as I was unable to work anymore and my focus is now to just have a good life and stay as functional as possible. I might not be able to work, but I want to at the very least be able to take care of myself and live on my own, despite sickness.
Fibromyalgia is considered among the “Invisible disabilities”, because it doesn’t show on tests or blood samples, and people from the outside can’t tell what is off unless you show heavily physical signs.
I have a limp the longer I’m on my feet and need a cane whenever I got outside now, to get more steps in with the support before I get tired.
Everyone have their struggles and battles, whether or not you can see it. It’s been a struggle for me to come to accept I’m disabled, after a life spent being active and productive. Only to see that strength and energy just fade away into nothing. Fighting two years with a GP not giving a crap because “Your bloodworks are fine” and “It’ll just pass on its own”. Even after getting diagnosed by specialists, I was ignored and brushed off, until I changed GP.
Now, finally taken seriously, and accepting the changes in my life, I still have my struggles and they’ll never go away. So even if you can’t see it, never judge someone. They are not “lazy”, “making excuses”, “grabbing for attention” and so on. You’ll never truly know their story and it’s not a contest.
fuck it might coin some terms to describe agab-non-conforming/multigender experience
transmesc: a kind of transmasculinity that is explicitly agab-non-conforming and/or multigender. for me, this describes the experience of being butch/masculine in an explicitly “woman who is a man” way that is both transmasculine and transfeminine at once
transfim: a kind of transfemininity that is explicitly agab-non-conforming and/or multigender. for me, this describes the experience of being femme/feminine in an explicitly “man who is a woman” way that is both transmasculine and transfeminine at once
these arent necessarily meant to be replacements for transmasc/transfem for agabnc people (i feel that people should be allowed to use transmasc/transfem to describe themselves regardless of agab) but i wanted terms to describe being transmasc/transfem in very confusing & mixed-up ways. if intersex people (or anyone else) find this useful for describing their experiences then its for them too
if ur thinking “those sound really close to transmasc/transfem”, thats the point! its like transmasc/transfem but weird and not what you expected when you look closer. theyre also vague on purpose! this is just for fun & self-expression 🙂
doing a separate post for my sugar cub flag rather than reblog addition:
This is my flag for sugar cubs; gay cubs who are feminine and/or gender non-conforming. The idea is based on my gay cub flag (the symbol in the corner, the 7 stripes), colors you may associate with gay cubs (beige, brown, blue), and colors you may associate with feminity and gender non-conformity (pink and purple).
[Flag Description: Flag with 7 horizontal stripes with colors from top to bottom being baby pink, light blue, beige, light brown, beige, lavender, and pale magenta. There is a small hot pink bear cub paw print in the top left hand corner of the flag that is tilted, with the top part where the claws are at being tilted toward the corner of the flag. End of flag description.]
An umbrella terms for all familial identities that are not strictly Allofamilial, while feeling connected to the Afamilial label. Can be shortened to Afaspec. (“Ay-Fah-Spec”) Examples include Demifamial, Grayfamial, Caedfamial, etc.
Afamilial:
The absence or near absence of familial attraction, where one may lack the feeling to be close to one considers family, or may not consider anyone family in the first place. Could be shortened to Afa or Afam.
Demifamilial:
An afaspec identity where one doesn’t experience familial attraction until forming a deep emotional connection with someone. (or otherwise conditional attachment before experiencing attraction) Could be shortened to Demiafa, or Demiafam.
Grayfamilial/Greyfamilial:
An afaspec identity where one feels connected to the afamilial term, however may not describe their familial attraction as strictly afamilial or allofamilial. Could be considered an umbrella term for any afaspec terms that are either between allofamilial and afamilial, or terms that feel simply like they aren’t strictly those two terms. Could be shortened to Grayafa/Greyafa, or Grayafam/Greyafam.
Caedfamilial:
A afaspec identity where one feels like their allofamilial disappeared or changed to either strictly afamilial or afaspec due to trauma. Should only be used by those with trauma and/or PTSD. Can be shortened to Caedafa or Caedafam.

Anyways Hi welcome to the bottom of the post. I made these flags to fill a gap in my hoard since I feel like I’m Afamilial in some ways, and therefore coined Afaspec to fill the gap since I don’t think anyone’s officially coined a term for Afamilial attraction yet.
That being said I also decided to make some flags since I couldn’t find any and ig “official” (as in idk if anyone else has done it yet) descriptions for Afamilial, Demifamilial, Grayfamilial, and Caedfamilial.
So yeah I made flags for these terms and stuff, I’ll likely make Afaflux at some point later today or in the next week. Feel free to use these flags and make your own. I’d love to see more familial terms in use.
Hi so I couldn’t find a genderfluid gay flag that I liked so I decided to make one for myself so I had a flag for it in my hoard. Since I like making stuff in groups, I decided to also make some genderfluid cenelian, veldian, and lesbian flags.
Desert Enbian Flag (my take on a Enbian/Q4NB flag)
Flag || Flag with stripe meanings
Last year or so I made my own take on the lesbian/gay/vincian/enbian flags since I am critinclus/radinclus. However one of the two posts detailing these flags was lost, so I am remaking/renaming them, along with simplifying and cleaning up some stripe meanings.
The original flags I made were 9 stripes, and I didn’t like the way I simplified them into 5 stripes, so I’ve decided to make a simple 6 stripe one. Some of these flags will look very similar to the ones I originally did, and some will look way different.
This flag is coined as a Enbian flag, however anyone who is Q4NB (Queer for Enbies/Nonbins), NBLNB/KLK/XLX, or identifies their attraction to enbies as queer regardless of their own gender or other attractions. (Basically anyone who feels like a enbian, but may not 100% identify with the enbian label for any reason, is allowed to use this flag, as long as they recognize it as the Desert Enbian/Q4NB flag. You could call yourself Desert Cenelian/Omni/etc in order to make that connection.)
This flag stands for inclusion and solidarity within the Enbian community, and between the Enbian community, other Q4NB communities, and other non-primarily Q4NB Queer communities (Lesbians/Vincians/etc). Generally just look at the stripe meanings if you want the general idea, I go into more detail for my reasoning below each meaning. This is a LONG POST.
The Stripe meanings:
Top/Dark Red: Aspec Enbian, Monospec Enbian, and Mspec Enbian inclusion and solidarity.
The Desert Enbian flag is radically inclusive of Aspec and Mspec enbians, even though I personally haven’t seen much anti-aspec or anti-mspec stuff coming from Enbian spaces, I do remember one time two people arguing with me that Enbian’s exclusively NBLNB, of which it never was or will be, so here we are regardless. Monospec Enbians should have solidarity with Aspec and Mspec enbians.
—
Second Stripe/Red: Multigender Enbian, Genderfluid Enbian, Genderflux Enbian, Monogender Enbian, Xenogender Enbian, Agender Enbian inclusion and solidarity.
Of course these are not the only genders included under this stripe, however these are some of the more excluded and misunderstood even by general enbian spaces, so they’re here to explicitly say they’re included under this flag. Monogender Enbians should stand with Enbians with more complicated gender identities.
—
Third Stripe/Red-Orange: Pronoun-Non-Conforming Enbian, Gender-Non-Conforming Enbian, Pronoun-Conforming Enbian, Gender-Conforming Enbian Inclusion and Solidarity
This stripe is here due to some exclusion in enbian spaces against feminine, xenine, and masculine enbies; believing that non-binary presentation can’t be masc or fem. This stripe is for explicit inclusion of she/her, he/him, it/its, neopronoun, nounself, emojiself enbians, fem, transfem, transmasc, azalean, carnatian, butch, femme, rosarian, transxen, xenic, amaranthian enbians. Gender and Pronoun conforming enbians should include and have solidarity with non-gender/pronoun conforming enbians.
—
Fourth Stripe/Yellow: Enbian and Non-Enbian Q4NB inclusion and solidarity
This stripe is here to include non-enbian Q4NB in enbian spaces, conversation, etc. This stripe stands for and includes anyone who has Queer love for enbies, and doesn’t primarily identify as a enbian. This includes saturnic, cenelian, celarsian, hecatolic, turquoian, etc. This stripe can also include enbians who are not explicitly Q4NB, and may be NBLNBM/NBLNBW enbians. Non-Enbians are not the enemies of enbians, and enbians should include and have solidarity with other Q4NB.
This stripe is here partly for the same reason as stripe number three, however with the added notion that Femme/Futch/Butch are not lesbian exclusive terms, and that Otter/Bear/Twink are not vincian/gay man exclusive terms. There may be many reasons someone would use these terms, Femme/Futch/Butch generally relate to gender-presentation, and Otter/Bear/Twink generally relate to one’s body. Of which there is a lot of fatphobia in queer communities, so this stripe is primarily here to focus on challenging what a enbian “looks like”. Butch and Femme enbians are not the enemies of Futch enbians, and Bear enbians and just as valid in their enbian identity as Otter and Twink enbians. Be inclusive and have solidarity with other enbians, even if they don’t “look like” a enbian. Challenge fatphobia, transphobia, and queermisia in your own communities.
—
Sixth/Last Stripe/Green-Yellow: Otherwise Marginalized Enbian inclusion and solidarity.
Like I mentioned in stripe number five, there is not “look” to being a enbian. This stripe is for the explicit inclusion of otherwise marginalized enbians, whether they be BIPOC, a religious minority, trans, intersex, polyamorous, chronically ill and/or disabled, neurodivergent, fat and/or a bear, etc. Include and have solidarity with other enbians, whether or not they’re like yourself. Challenge bigoted rhetoric in your own communities.
Flowerbed Lesbian Flag (My take on a Lesbian/Q4W flag)
Flag || Flag with stripe meanings
Last year or so I made my own take on the lesbian/gay/vincian/enbian flags since I am critinclus/radinclus. However one of the two posts detailing these flags was lost, so I am remaking/renaming them, along with simplifying and cleaning up some stripe meanings.
The original flags I made were 9 stripes, and I didn’t like the way I simplified them into 5 stripes, so I’ve decided to make a simple 6 stripe one. Some of these flags will look very similar to the ones I originally did, and some will look way different.
This flag is coined as a Lesbian flag, however anyone who is Q4W (Queer for Women), WLW/NBLW/WLNB/NBLNB, or identifies their attraction to women as queer regardless of their own gender or other attractions. (Basically anyone who feels like a lesbian, but may not 100% identify with the lesbian label for any reason, is allowed to use this flag, as long as they recognize it as the Flowerbed Lesbian/Q4W flag. You could call yourself Flowerbed Sapphic/Bi/etc in order to make that connection.)
This flag stands for inclusion and solidarity within the Lesbian community, and between the Lesbian community, other Q4W communities, and other non-primarily Q4W Queer communities (Vincians/Enbians/etc). Generally just look at the stripe meanings if you want the general idea, I go into more detail for my reasoning below each meaning. This is a LONG POST.
The Stripe meanings:
Top/Dark Purple: Aspec Lesbian, Monospec Lesbian, and Mspec Lesbian inclusion and solidarity.
The Flowerbed Lesbian flag is radically inclusive of Aspec and Mspec lesbians, due to exclusionists in the community attempting to push them out. Monospec Lesbians should have solidarity with Aspec and Mspec lesbians.
—
Second Stripe/Purple-Pink: Multigender Lesbian, Genderfluid Lesbian, Genderflux Lesbian, Monogender Lesbian, Xenogender Lesbian, Agender Lesbian inclusion and solidarity.
Of course these are not the only genders included under this stripe, however these are some of the more excluded and misunderstood from general lesbian spaces, so they’re here to explicitly say they’re included under this flag. Monogender Lesbians should stand with Lesbians with more complicated gender identities.
—
Third Stripe/Hot Pink: Pronoun-Non-Conforming Lesbian, Gender-Non-Conforming Lesbian, Pronoun-Conforming Lesbian, Gender-Conforming Lesbian Inclusion and Solidarity
This stripe is obviously here due to the whole “masc = bad” mentality that is rampant in lesbian and otherwise queer spaces. This stripe is for explicit inclusion of he/him, they/them, it/its, neopronoun, nounself, emojiself lesbians, and lesboy, masc, transmasc, carnatian, lavenderian, kiwi, transneu, transxen, xenic, amaranthian lesbians. Gender and Pronoun conforming lesbians should include and have solidarity with non-gender/pronoun conforming lesbians.
—
Fourth Stripe/Light Pink: Lesbian and Non-Lesbian Q4W inclusion and solidarity
This stripe is here to include non-lesbian Q4W in lesbian spaces, conversation, etc. This stripe stands for and includes anyone who has Queer love for women, and doesn’t primarily identify as a lesbian. This includes sapphic, neptunic, lilaen, trixic, faunic, etc. This stripe can also include lesbians who are not explicitly Q4W, and may be NBLNB lesbians. Non-Lesbians are not the enemies of lesbians, and lesbians should included and have solidarity with other Q4W.
Of which there is a lot of fatphobia in queer communities, so this stripe is primarily here to focus on challenging what a lesbian “looks like”. Futch and Butch lesbians (Ursulas) are not the enemies of Femme lesbians, and Bear lesbians and just as valid in their lesbian identity as Otter and Twink lesbians. Be inclusive and have solidarity with other lesbians, even if they don’t “look like” a lesbian. Challenge fatphobia, transphobia, and queermisia in your own communities.
—
Sixth/Last Stripe/Blue: Otherwise Marginalized Lesbian inclusion and solidarity.
Like I mentioned in stripe number five, there is not “look” to being a lesbian. This stripe is for the explicit inclusion of otherwise marginalized lesbians, whether they be BIPOC, a religious minority, trans, intersex, polyamorous, chronically ill and/or disabled, neurodivergent, fat and/or a bear, etc. Include and have solidarity with other lesbians, whether or not they’re like yourself. Challenge bigoted rhetoric in your own communities.
Marsh Vincian Flag (my take on a Vincian/Gay Man/Q4M flag)
Flag || Flag with stripe meanings
Last year or so I made my own take on the lesbian/gay/vincian/enbian flags since I am critinclus/radinclus. However one of the two posts detailing these flags was lost, so I am remaking/renaming them, along with simplifying and cleaning up some stripe meanings.
The original flags I made were 9 stripes, and I didn’t like the way I simplified them into 5 stripes, so I’ve decided to make a simple 6 stripe one. Some of these flags will look very similar to the ones I originally did, and some will look way different.
This flag is coined as a Vincian flag, however anyone who is Q4M (Queer for Men), MLM/NBLM/MLNB/NBLNB, or identifies their attraction to men as queer regardless of their own gender or other attractions. (Basically anyone who feels like a vincian, but may not 100% identify with the vincian label for any reason, is allowed to use this flag, as long as they recognize it as the Marsh Vincian/Q4M flag. You could call yourself Marsh Veldian/Pan/etc in order to make that connection.)
This flag stands for inclusion and solidarity within the Vincian community, and between the Vincian community, other Q4M communities, and other non-primarily Q4M Queer communities (Lesbians/Enbians/etc). Generally just look at the stripe meanings if you want the general idea, I go into more detail for my reasoning below each meaning. This is a LONG POST.
The Stripe meanings:
Top/Dark Blue: Aspec Vincian, Monospec Vincian, and Mspec Vincian inclusion and solidarity.
The Marsh Vincian flag is radically inclusive of Aspec and Mspec vincians, due to exclusionists (mostly fueled by exclus lesbians ironically enough) in the community attempting to push them out. Monospec Vincians should have solidarity with Aspec and Mspec vincians.
—
Second Stripe/Cyan: Multigender Vincian, Genderfluid Vincian, Genderflux Vincian, Monogender Vincian, Xenogender Vincian, Agender Vincian inclusion and solidarity.
Of course these are not the only genders included under this stripe, however these are some of the more excluded and misunderstood from general vincian spaces, so they’re here to explicitly say they’re included under this flag. Monogender Vincians should stand with Vincians with more complicated gender identities.
—
Third Stripe/Light Cyan: Pronoun-Non-Conforming Vincian, Gender-Non-Conforming Vincian, Pronoun-Conforming Vincian, Gender-Conforming Vincian Inclusion and Solidarity
This stripe is here due to some exclusion in gay man spaces against feminine gay men. This stripe is for explicit inclusion of she/her, they/them, it/its, neopronoun, nounself, emojiself vincians, and veldigirl, fem, transfem, azalean, lavenderian, kiwi, transneu, transxen, xenic, amaranthian vincians. Gender and Pronoun conforming vincians should include and have solidarity with non-gender/pronoun conforming vincians.
—
Fourth Stripe/Light Green: Vincian and Non-Vincian Q4M inclusion and solidarity
This stripe is here to include non-vincian Q4M in vincian spaces, conversation, etc. This stripe stands for and includes anyone who has Queer love for men, and doesn’t primarily identify as a vincian. This includes uranic, achillean, violaen, uranian, veldian, etc. This stripe can also include vincians who are not explicitly Q4M, and may be NBLNB vincians. Non-Vincians are not the enemies of vincians, and vincians should include and have solidarity with other Q4M.
Futch and Femme vincians are not the enemies of Butch vincians, and Bear vincians and just as valid in their vincian identity as Otter and Twink vincians. Be inclusive and have solidarity with other vincians, even if they don’t “look like” a vincian. Challenge fatphobia, transphobia, and queermisia in your own communities.

people have been adding the progress flag triangle (original version) to other flags so I went and added the intersex inclusive version to the gay flag ahhhhhhhhh
I really don’t know how to describe these properly besides the left being the 5 stripe version and the right the 7 stripe so if anybody wants to add an image description pls do!
[ id 1: a flag with five horizontal stripes, in the following colors: cyan, mint, white, light blue and dark purple. To the left is a circle, pointing to the middle stripe, with six stripes, in the following colors: yellow, white, pink, blue, brown and black. In the center of the yellow section, there’s a dark purple circle outline. /End id ]
[ id 2: a flag with seven horizontal stripes, in the following colors: cyan, turquoise, mint, white, light blue, indigo and dark purple. To the left is a circle, pointing to the middle stripe, with six stripes, in the following colors: yellow, white, pink, blue, brown and black. In the center of the yellow section, there’s a dark purple circle outline. /End id ]
according to mogai genders wiki, transneumasc refers to “AFAB transgender and non-binary people who identify as both transmasculine and transneutral.” i identify with this even though i’m AMAB, so i figured i’d do something similar to my AMAB transmasc & AFAB transfem flags.
this flag/edit refers to AMAB transgender and non-binary people who identify as both transmasculine and transneutral. basically i just changed the pink stripes at the ends (resembling AFAB-ness) to be blue (resembling AMAB-ness)
i also edited the 7 stripe version for those who prefer that.
if you’re confused on how an AMAB can be transmasc or an AFAB can be transfem, see this post (/safe). it’s similar to how AMAB demiboys or AFAB demigirls are still valid. trans is an umbrella term for anyone who doesn’t fully identify with their assigned birth sex, meaning than an AMAB who identifies with masc identities is totally valid, and so is an AFAB who identifies with fem identites, & both are technically trans.
sincerely, noivern, an AMAB transneumasc /gen
dni: dsmp (not including fictives/introjects that are heavily critical of the media), anti-mogai, truscum/transmed, terf/swerf, aspec/arospec exclus, maps, proship/comship/anti-anti, nonbinary skeptic, anti-self dx, autism speaks supporter, anti-blm/acab, cringe/flop blog, nsfw blog. people who fall under the dni can still use my terms, but please just don’t follow me.
transmascs and trans men who were amab are amazing. their trans manhood and transmasculinity is so wonderful and rich. they deserve infinite trans joy.
[Image description: 3 square graphics showing the trans and lesbian flags together over a pink, jagged, washi-tape textured background. A while back a was a study proposing something called “rapid onset gender dysphoria”. Basic summary is that it proposed that dysphoria was kind of social contagien that caused young people to suddenly develop dysphoria to fit in with peers or cope with other mental illness. The only source was taken from a survey of parents on a transphobic forum.
It was essentially a load of transphobic bs. But the concept of dysphoria that comes out of nowwhere is relatable to some people so I am making a reclaim for this term.
Also, if you want to reclaim the term but don’t relate to the def I gave, feel free to do so! The term can be reclaimed by any trans person!
Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD)
A MUD were somebody suddenly develops gender dysphoria, usually also joined by a sudden change to gender identity.
This could be entirely without reason or have a specific trigger. Some possible triggers are:
Discovery of trans identies
Friends coming out as trans
Mental illnes
A traumatic event
Puberty
Etc.
ROGD should only ever be a self-applied label and should not be forced on others. Someone having ROGD does not mean that their identity is invalid, everyone’s id is valid no matter what caused it.
Permanant Type (ROGD-PT)
A subtype of ROGD specifing that the dysphoria and change to one’s gender identity was permanant and did not fade with time.
Fading Type (ROGD-FT)
A subtype of ROGD specifing that the dysphoria and change to one’s gender identity faded with time. Though, one’s identity may cay temporarily change again in future, especially if a simlar trigger is encountered.
Even if the identity is temporary, it is still valid. Gender is fluid.

Androgyne gender identity
Definition:
Androgyne, androgyn or androgynous gender, is an identity under the nonbinary and transgender umbrellas. Androgynes have a gender identity that can be a blend of both or neither of the binary genders. They may describe this as being between female and male, between man and woman, between masculine and feminine or simply ‘in between.’ They can also identify as neither feminine or masculine, or neither female and male.
As stated in the definition, androgyne people are trans (they don’t identify exclusively as the gender they were assigned at birth), and nonbinary (they are not one of the binary genders). Of course it is up to an individual to choose the words they use to identify themselves with.
The word androgyne has an interesting history, at times it was used as an umbrella term similar to nonbinary (I won’t go in to much more detail here, but there is more info in the nonbinary wiki).
androgyne, androgyny, androgynous
As a rule, androgyne refers to a gender identity, while Androgyny refers to gender expression (androgynous would be the word used to describe an individual using androgyny as their gender expression). A person may identify as androgyne, and not be androgynous, and a person my be androgynous and not identify as androgyne.
It is explained well in this post, but I think a good way to understand the difference is that androgyne is an androgynous gender identity. While androgyne will be used as a gender identity, and androgyny is more general reference to a blend of male and female characteristics.
What is overall the most important to understand that use of these words for individuals will vary. General use of these terms has changed over time. If an individual feels that these words help them to understand themselves (even if they don’t fit the “exact definitions”) than that is what is important. Words are here to benefit us.
Here is a useful graphic to understand the “androgyne spectrum”:
androgyne spectrum
[ID: a scale, starting from the left with “Female” and “Feminine”, then “Gynx”, “Androgyne” and “Androgynous”, “Androx”, “Male” and “Masculine”. End]
from this post, by @bentonthegay. And this post gives a good explanation about it, and about androgyne as a gender identity:
I think that the specific thing that makes Androgyne an identity all its own that I believe is within the center of the gender spectrum, right alongside other non-binary genders that blur the line between “male” and “female”. Androgyne is the “neither” and/or “both” of the spectrum. It’s a bit of a blend of selected traits from both sides. Given, that means very different things to different people, so I imagine that not every Androgyne person dresses or behaves just like I do. […] The part of the identity that sets it apart is how Androgyne people feel about themselves. As an Androgyne person, I believe that I am not a man or a woman. I reside comfortably between the extremes. So I guess it’s not just a mix, it’s more that I’m a blurred segment of the gradient between them. I do believe that Androgyne is an identity by itself and not just “a mix of female and male traits”. Given, that’s like saying a banana split is just ice cream with bananas and sweet toppings. You’re not wrong, but it’s not just that.
Another important point to remember that while androgyne is a mix of the two binary genders, it is also connected to neutrality, being in the middle of the spectrum, it is “both” and “neither”, and can be different for each person.
Similarly, androgyny can be both presenting femininely and masculinely at the same time, or more of a neutral look, neither feminine nor masculine.
multigender?
Depending on the person, androgynes may see themselves as falling under the multigender umbrella.
in the “Brochure for the Human Outreach and Achievement Institute” (1987) the following definition is found:
Androgyne: A person who can comfortably express either alterative gender role in a variety of socially acceptable environments. (Includes bigenderist)
This is both an interesting historical look on the meaning of androgyne, but also the close connection androgyne has with the multigender (and in particular bigender) community.
The meaning of bigender has expanded in the past 30+ years. It refers to people who have two specific gender identities, these identities may be male and female but also may not be. Seemingly this can include androgynes.
The choice to include oneself under the multigender/bigender umbrella should be a personnel one. Do I feel like being androgyne is a mix of two things? Or perhaps it is one identity, one gender? Maybe the experiences of multigendered people resonate with me, and I would like to be connected to their community regardless? The history connects androgynes and multigended people. At any rate, we are all queer and therefore connected.

Femandrogyne: an androgyne person that feels more feminine than masculine.
Mascandrogyne: an androgyne that feels more masculine than feminine.
Neutrandrogyne: an androgyne with equal amounts of masculinity and femininity, and/or simply neutral.
Versandrogyne: an androgyne with amounts of femininity and masculinity that fluctuate, for example they could go between femandrogyne and mascandrogyne.
Demiandrogyne: an androgyne who relates partially, but not fully, to the androgyne experience (this term is also under the demigender umbrella).
[ID: flag with three vertical stripes, in the colors, from left to right: pink, purple, and light blue. End]
The pink represents femininity, the light blue masculinity, and the purple a mix of them both.
This is a great post explaining about other flags that are less known, based off the nonbinary wiki.
The symbol ⚨ is used to represent this gender identity (a mix of the male and female gender symbols).
One important symbol is:
[ID: a circle with an arrow coming out of the top, and a horizontal line underneath the triangle of the arrow. End]
This symbol is a mix of female (Venus) and male (Mars) symbols. It is also an intersex symbol, and a symbol for other genders. In the image the symbol is pointing up, but it is sometimes depicted pointing to other directions.
Another important symbol is the Necker Cube:
[ID: illustration of a cube. End]
Necker Cube n. 1. An optical illusion in the shape of a cube. May take either of two forms:
Proposed by the author as a symbol of androgyny, because it is either concave or convex depending on how you look at it. I prefer this to the mars-plus-venus sign, which depends upon a juxtaposition of stereotpyes (sword and shield for male, looking-glass for female), and which, furthermore, combines the signs for the two most irritating gods in the Roman pantheon. If we must depend on Greek mythology, I would prefer to take a cue from Janus and use some variation of the two-faces motif on the cover of some editions of The Left Hand of Darkness. The Necker cube, however, is simpler, and suggests ambiguity in more than mere gender. Who wants to design the lapel pin?
There is much more history to the word and identity. Many more experiences it could include, but there is only so much I can cover. I do hope that nothing I’ve written makes it seem like this identity has rigid rules that need to be adhered to in order to identify with it. On the contrary. This seems to be a very broad and open way of identifying, and different aspects of it may resonate with many.
Dalae Darcian, dalaen, or dalaemoric, is a darcian who is exclusively attracted to women, alongside all non-women who do not primarily identify as men. Dalaen may include those who are partial/sometimes/etc. men, which includes those who are multigender, genderfluid, and so on. Comes from dahlias.
Bellae Bennetian, bellaen, or bellaemoric, is a bennetian who is exclusively attracted to men, alongside all non-men who do not primarily identify as women. Bellaen may include those who are partial/sometimes/etc. women, which includes those who are multigender, genderfluid, and so on. Comes from bellflowers.
Jasmae Jaustenian, jasmaen, or jasmaemoric, is someone who identifies with both dalaen and bellaen. This is generally due to sexuality and/or gender fluidity. Comes from jasmine flowers.
There are a lot of experiences that those can cover! I talk about why I personally identify with transfemininity here, but essentially:
People who have been alienated from masculinity or manhood/femininity or womanhood despite being amab/afab may identify as transmasc/transfem to describe their interaction with these identities
Going off the above, intersex people may have a complicated relationship with both agab and socialization which leads to the binary, agab-centered idea of transmasc/transfem to not really apply to their experiences
A variety of genderqueer people may feel their masculinity/femininity is inherently trans even if it technically aligns with their agab, and especially as one medically transitions and their body changes, may identify as transmasc/transfem to describe their non-cis masculinity/femininity
I think an expansive definition of transmasc/transfem would be “someone whose relationship with masculinity/femininity is inherently trans/not cis”
Bisexual enbian flag, for those who identify as bisexual and enbian at the same time, loosely based off of the bisexual flag. The white hearts around the enbian symbol are meant to represent passion regality and love and the stripe meanings are below!
Yup. They are pretty relatable tbh. I’m not a woman but I relate a lot to being asymptotically a transmasc cis man transfem trans woman cismasc trans man (so a transmascfem cismasc cistrans man trans woman). It’s confusing. It’s like a complex number, they may not have a “solution” (meaning it’s “contradictory”) but they have a “real part” (at least it’s how I feel, some may experience it genuinely/purely “real”).
also with the enbyfluid anon i am also sometines things like proxvir ang neogirl and i am occasionally fully binary soery if this is weird
abrobinary includes being fluid between binary and non-binary. enbyfluid was coined more than one time, so it has multiple definitions. so I guess that still counts I guess. use whatever you want. genderfruct seems a perfect label (which means being able to fluctuate between all genders possible/accessible). mayhaps use maginonbinary or plerunonbinary/domnonbinary
your experience is relatable but still unique. sorry if this isn’t the advice you wanted but this is I have to say. 🙂

Cisfem Cis Man: describing a cis folk experiencing a feminine male gender identity; a male feminine cisness; being both cisfingender and cismaingender.
This can be used in an AGABless or ASABless way (regardless of AGAB/ASAB), or otherwise ANC (AGAB non-conforming), such as AGABpunk or SAGAB (self-assignment). Other reasons include intersexness, plurality/systemhood, etc.

“Bigender Menace” is a comic-waiting-to-be-turned zine that myselves, Equinoxian Systems, made to help illustrate why we identify as bigender, why it’s not a problem, how you can be and why it’s okay to be a man and a woman at the same time.
walking up to a butch in a bar and really clicking and then learning that she views herself as having masc qualities to her gender so i rip up my lesbian card (handed to us by the lesbian government and enforced by the lesbian police, or course) and shoot myself in the head
“lesbians cannot experience attraction to:” some of you have never seen a gay ass twink across the street who you thought was a cute girl
i guess what i don’t get about this, either, is how are you going to enforce this, outside of the concept of validity and realness- two entirely nebulous and subjective concepts. “lesbians cannot be attracted to x” ok, so what? there are lesbians out there who are attracted to x. what are you going to do? claim they are not valid? they are not real lesbians? what after that? what are you going to do about this at all? why should… anyone care about your view of what makes a lesbian “valid” or “real” . what even is validity? why does it matter? it all seems so worthless and tiring. how are you going to stop anyone from being a lesbian.
And apparently I’m wrong for calling myself a lesbian as a multigender person. Gods forbid, I call myself a boy and a lesbian or a girl and insert my usually more colorful language because I also like reclaiming slurs that I have a right to reclaim. But also speaking how I see things seems to bring hot water from some trans fems who seem to see the girl part of my gender as conditional.
Can women be twinks? Can men be butch? Instead of asking these incredibly niche questions ask yourself this, if they weren’t allowed to do so, who would you have enforcing that ruling?
and then, I hope this kind of re-framing opens your eyes about how silly that would be, to enforce as such. But really, this is what they mean when they say “kill the cop in your head.”
What good does it do you to try and police people more?
Yeah, here are 2 versions, first one adjusts the colors from cinthean, and the other uses the original colors. Just since personally, I thought the original colors jumped around a lot. Anyone is free to use the second version (that is why I made it) if they prefer the old colors.
For anyone who identifies as toric and veldian, turian, vincian, or cinthean

A flag for lesbians who were assigned/designated male at birth (AMAB/MAAB/DMAB).
This includes some transgender lesbians (such as lesbian trans women and transfeminine lesbians), some isogender lesbians, some intersex lesbians, some non-binary lesbians (such as abinary and unaligned lesbians), some lesboys (such as lesçoys), some bodies with system member plurality, lesbians who self-assign as AMAB, and many more experiences. Usually, it’s a cisn’t identity, but lescoys are welcome in using it.
Is this also for lesbians assigned male at birth who use he/him pronouns?

Here’s a flag for fraytorenflexible (plus just a fraytoren flag, since I didn’t any flags for it).
It’s a combination of the original flags colors. The light green/blue stripe is a mix of the light blue from fray and green from toren, with the purple just from toren. The top dark blue and bottom grey stripe are from fray.
The stripe of flipped colors in the middle is to represent the flexible part of the label, it’s a design inspired by aceflexible, which I’ve also used in other -flexible flag designs.
This is the fray flag used, and this is the toren flag used.
Yeah, here’s two combo flags for parosexual + chameleosexual, one with the chameleosexual symbol and one without.
The flag is basically the chameleosexual gradient over the parosexual colors. The chameleon symbol I isolated from the original flag, and upscaled it. It’s a bit pixel-y, but I think it should be okay.
[Flag ID: A rectangular flag with nine stripes. The first four stripes are a gradient from pink to light yellowish orange. The fifth stripe is very thick and white. The last four stripes are a gradient from pastel cool pink to cornflower blue. In the center there is the sapphic flower with a black, gray, and white center. /end ID]
As an umbrella term it is for when one has a gender / genders that isn’t / aren’t felt at times due to depersonalization , or that is / are less intense at times due to depersonalization . It can also be a term for a gender that isn’t felt / is less intense at times due to depersonalization ( depersonagender ) . It may be a modifier , for example a depersonaboy would be one that is a boy , but sometimes this gender isn’t felt or is less intense due to depersonalization .

Pandrogyny is the idea of neutralizing gender as a potential future for the human species, and is the conscious embracing of gender roles, sexual orientations, or cultural traditions so as to render the person’s original identity completely indecipherable. It predates the term ambinique, which is the blending and blurring of society’s gender expectations and gender roles into a uniquely new future gender – one focuses on the eradication of gender while the other focuses on an entirely new type of gender.
“Pandrogyny” comes from the words pan- for “all” and androgyny, but it goes far beyond the idea of its root words and is not the same as androgyny or being an androgyne.
While it is technically a neutral identity, it goes beyond the idea of being transgender or gender nonconforming – thus, it can’t quite be called a nonbinary identity, but rather an anti-binary identity. It is seen as an art form that transforms the body into something new and transcends the gender binary. When identities blend to become one idea that is separate and indistinguishable from the original, that is pandrogyny.
(Note: Pandrogyny is the noun form, pandrogynous is the adjective, and pandrogyne is the word for a pandrogynous person.)
Hey by any chance do you have the png or image for the symbol in the middle? I’d love to use it while creating alternate flags for some altersex labels I use.
Here you go (large + downscaled to preserve quality hopefully)! It’s cobbled together from these!
It’s loosely based on that flag and the neutrosis flag. the light and dark pink at the bottom are for femininity, the grey is for transition, the green is for neutrality.
FtN and MtF (female-to-neutral, male-to-neutral) is a topic that seems to rarely be brought up in the trans community, especially when transitioning. However, we do absolutely exist. We want to make our bodies through body modification overall more gender neutral (be it how we wear our hair, color parts of our body, potentially permanent body modification like surgical change, possible manipulation of hormones, etc.)
the flag you linked is a ftnf flag actually, meaning it’s transitioning to neutrois but still identifying as female (female ftn). it could be named as ftfn as well
There’s a lot of bullshit going on on Twitter about altersex ppl and I just want to say I’m altersex and you can die mad about it ❤️
I am not fetishizing intersex people, my dysphoria is not a fetish, I am not “transitioning to be intersex”, I am not intersex, I am perisex, I am altersex, I am altering my sex characteristics to better suit my gender so I can feel better in my body, get over it, cope
Just a note, ‘sysmed’ being like the word transmed isn’t transphobic. You are trying to make a complex psychological phenomenon purely medical and gatekeep those who don’t fit diagnostic criteria (for a disorder they don’t claim to have) in your eyes. That’s the x-med bread and butter. If you are sysmed, you believe in the medicalisation of systemhood. You can dislike the word but it’s literally what you are. Kindly stop using trans issues as a scapegoat to defend yourself. The irony that, to draw the parallel, Endogenic is like the NonBinary of the system world. We do not need trauma/dyphoria or a diagnosis to be a system/NonBinary thank you ❤

These flags can be useful for gayhets plus homoflexible and heteroflexible people. However, it can be used for queerhets, monosexual gays, and sexless acespecs as well. These may be seen as outdated within bisexual activist community nowadays. Also some problematize the author, but the descriptions are neutral in nature.
The day people realize that all queer labels were made up to describe vague concepts and that not everyone fits into their strict definitions is the day I can rest
A form of mutogender (an iteration of genderfluidity where ones gender is dependent on ones situation) where the “default” is a male or masculine state.
Thank you to adjacent-wager for submitting this! I like the colors.
shoutout to people with genders other than male and female that prefer not to be called nonbinary. shoutout to genderqueer, gender non conforming, neutrois, maverique, aporagender, androgyne, xenogender, kenochoric, solarian, lunarian, stellarian, spacialian, genderpunk, genderfuck, abinary people, anyone else who has a distinct identity, and people who just like to be called trans and prefer to be referred to that way, ily
A type of attraction centered around a desire to form a community with, or integrate into a community, those one is attracted to. Associated with otherkin / therian packs and flocks, and with communes. Also groups that meet up consistently, like conventions and hobby circles.
May be considered adjacent to familial attraction and often expressed as a type of queerplatonic attraction, but neither association is needed to experience this type of attraction!

Meanings:
Blue – Community
Cyan – Close Bonds
Orange – Hearth & Home
Red – Beastliness
More generally, the flag is also representing a concept of meeting with many others under a bright blue sky.

This is the general Condimodal flag, when being more specific (for example, Condimodal but with the dependant Modality in question being Cisn’t), the exclamation point in white would be replaced with the flag colors of said modality like so:

Orgadic, also called Orgasex or Sexual Altersex, is a term for altersex people, whose main (or entire) reason for being altersex is for sexual reasons.
Some examples of this could include, but are not limited to: A trans person who is cissex because they are afraid of losing sexual feeling after bottom surgery. A cisgender woman who wants to have a penis so they don’t have to a strap-on. A person who want to be sexy to themselves and that involves having sexual characteristics they find desirable.
The term and flag were created by Tumblr user plurgai.
Made some transneofem flags! Basically transneofem means to transition to something feminine, but a new type of feminine similar to neo girl. The flag with the pink on the outside is the afab transneofem flag, the one with the purple is the intersex transneofem flag, and the one with the blue is the amab transneofem flag.
an ace who considers love to be an important part of their identity. this is means for arospec aces, quoiro aces, solum aces, romanceless aces, aces without romantic orientation, not alloaces.
A gender that includes but also extends outside of being Omnine; being both Supragender and Omnine.
I went outside of the usual Supragender flag format of having each parallel stripe be the same color, because of how many colors the Omnine flag has. You could technically arrange these colors in any order and if anyone wants me to, I’d be happy to make alt. flags!
The original flags were only 220×132 px, so here is the exact same designs in 1280×801 px.
I could not find the original coiner/maker on the LGBTA wiki (where I got these flags) so please shoot me a link if you know!
Sex-Oscillating is a Sex stance that describes an individual whose feelings towards the act or concept of sexual interaction change or fluctuate over time. The term is commonly used asexual spectrum individuals, but is not exclusive to this community or sexuality.
❝ A flag for those who feel they were originally masculine, and are transitioning to femininity. It is not synonyms with male to female (mtf) and it is not exclusive to AMAB indivuals. It may be used in reference to one’s gender and/or one’s expression. ❞ — ♡

Alright, here’s a flag for supra-cis 🙂 (plus another for supra-trans, just because I like making things in sets)
The flags’ designs are similar to my other supragender flags. The top yellow represents the “exceeds” part of supragender, the off white background also has that meaning.
Specifically, for supra-cis, I chose dark pink/blue/grey to represent the cis part. The pink and blue is darker than the pink and blue used in the other supragender flags to mimic the dark pink/blue cisgender flag. I also thought grey would fit for cis too.
Supra-trans is pretty straight forward. I just used blue/pink/white like in the trans flag. (They’re not the exact same hex codes though, I used slightly different colors to better match the original supragender flag’s aesthetic).
here’s to intersex, transsexual, altersex and other identity variant people who are both transmasc and transfem- I am, having intersex body, choosen HRT and transitioning as both masc and fem at the same time. I see you and i love you!

Yes. I know exactly what I am into. 😁 Do I need to use a flag created by a anglo-group to represent me? Should I submit to its intentions to protect and promote my desires and way of life?
Actually I’m Brazilian and Portuguese is my native language. I just use an Anglophone blog to post my flags

bad faith arguments against aros who take issue with the “love is everything” posts are like “but non-romantic love exists too!!!” okay so when i say love story you don’t immediately think of romance? when someone refers to their love life you think they’re talking about how much they love their family? when someone says they’re looking for love you think they wanna make a new friend?
I love female fags, male dykes, trans mtftms and ftmtfs. I adore genderqueer genderfreaks who fuck gender and hug eachother. A kiss to every bi lesbian, every asexual lesbian, every mspec gay guy married to his beard who he’s in love with. A smile and a nod to all the incomprehensible degenerates who are holding hands when they get pelted with rocks on the street for being visible and a menace to society. I pour one out for all the faggot dykes, femme butches, agender aromatic asexuals, high femmes and stone butches. This one goes out to the freaks of nature who queer queerness and are left to martyrdom by those who should love them, you are loved by me.
MtNtF/MtNBtF/MtXtF (male to neutrois to female): transitioning from male to neither male nor female then to female. A double/progressive transition/transfemininity.
If you think you support multigender ppl and then turn around and say u can’t be both mlm and wlw or you can’t be both a lesbian and a man or you can’t be both a gay dude and woman or you can’t be straight and gay at the same time or you cant be both a gay man and a lesbian then like. Maybe stop lying and try to actually support us.
Follows the layout of this first Androgyne flag, but with the three middle stripes coming from the Sensemasc, Sensemascfem, and Sensfem flag (in that order).
First flag is unedited aside from a slight purple tint to unify the stripes more, second is darker.
Kenochoric quality. (In the same vein as feminine, masculine, and xenine.) A set of presentations, aesthetics, etc. that are often associated with being kenochoric. Can be used to describe gender, presentation, or both.
Can also be called Kenoine.
The first flag is formatted after the Masculine and Feminine flags by Kirbirb (using the same template as my Maverine flags).
The second flag has a heavier lean towards the original Kenochoric flag with some mirrored black stripes.
I need people obsessed with discourse and identity politics to understand that bigots don’t ask for your label before they discriminate against you.
They don’t say, “Oh hey woman holding hands with another woman, you’re actually bisexual? My bad! I was going to call you a dyke but now that I know your actually bisexual I won’t treat you badly.”
They don’t say, “Oh you’re a cisgender woman who’s a butch lesbian? I thought you were a transwoman and was going to call the cops, but I won’t do that now that you’ve verified your identity.”
They don’t say, “Oh you’re a transman? I was going to catcall and harass you but now that I know you’re a man I’ll respect you and leave you alone.”
Like arguing and belittling and shitting on each other because some tumblr post or tweet convinced you your own community is the enemy….it does not matter to them. They will harass us all, beat us all, call the cops on us all, it does not fucking matter what our labels are. We’re all suffering and we’ll continue to suffer the more we let them divide us.
this is a joke post obvs but it is also legitimately how i feel about it. i’m a girl, and a trans woman in polite conversation, but i dont really identify as binary and nor do i identify with non-binary or the ‘demigirl’ label
i’m a girl, but in many ways also a girl-like entity, or perhaps girl-adjacent
also whatever gender your average cis woman has i want absolutely no part in so jot that down
As someone that has a visual disability that primarily impacts my ability to see color and still wants to provide ALT text for my flags I wanted to share this tool I found !
ALT
Basically you upload your image and click on whatever color you need to ID and it gives you the hue name and some names for the color itself!
I wanted to share it with everyone because I know a lot of other coiners want to make IDs but struggle and need text templates as well as assistance in accurately describing colors.
The website link is in the screenshot, image ALT text, at the bottom in the post source, and on this reblog! Please share so disabled coiners know about this accessibility tool!
