So I’ve been debating my sexuality for ages now, but never found a label that perfectly describes my sexuality. To cishet people I say I’m bisexual, purely because that’s easier to understand. But I’ve been dancing of the line of questioning between bi, pan, and omni for over a year when I came across Multisexual. I instantly felt connected to this term in a way none of the others had, but this got me thinking… there are many forms of attraction and for me personally I feel they are all intrinsically linked. And so, Multiattracted! Like multisexual it is attraction to mutliple genders, with or without a preference. This means not only sexually but romantically, platonically, queerplatonically, alterously, sensually, intellectually, and aesthically. This can be experienced simultaneously or at different times for different people.
I used the magnet symbol to communicate the diversity of attraction (like how magnets are attracted to one another). I selected the colours based on other flags and my own interpretation (I think I have synesthesia). I also inversed the purple of the asexual flag to make green for sexual attraction, and inversed the dark green to make red… however these can be reverted to purple and green respectively if it makes it more confusing, this was just my interpretation of the different attractions.
