Viricum was coined by Tumblr user the-gender-collector-emself on March 24, 2020.
Viricum is described as “‘Vir’ is a Latin masculine noun while the ‘-icum’ part implies a (sometimes) partial connection to a thing like how you add the French ‘-ique’ to words, except I wanted the Latin consistency. I mean, virique also works if you feel fancy. It’s basically demiboy but if you don’t like the -boy part and think ‘demiman’ and ‘demimale’ looks weird. Like I do.And you can pair it with stuff. Polyviricum. Viricumfluid. (I don’t necessarily enjoy the -cum and -fluid parts together so maybe viriquefluid instead because yuck!)”
There was no flag in the original coining post.
