1.A gender that is pink, elegant and cute, can be feminine or female but not inherently feminine or female. It also may feel plasticity and fake like a barbie doll!
2.A gender relatin to Barbie and/or being kin with Barbie.
Shout out to the people whose experience of being bi doesn’t fit the more commonly represented version.
That means:
Bi women who are attracted to women and enbies but not men? I see you.
Bi women who are attracted to men and enbies but not women? I used to identify as one of you, I see you.
Bi enbies who are attracted to women and enbies but not men? I see you.
Bi enbies who are attracted to men and enbies but not women? I see you.
Bi men who are attracted to men and enbies but not women? I see you.
Bi men who are attracted to women and enbies but not men? I see you.
Bi people who use both bi and pan? I see you.
Bi people who use a different definition of bi then other people tell them to, whether it be “all genders,” “two or more genders,” “most genders,” etc? I see you.
Bi people who use biromantic but not bisexual to describe themselves? I see you.
Bi people who use bisexual to describe themselves but not biromantic? I see you.
Bi people who use “bi” as well as another term, be it “ace,” “aro,” “gay,” “queer,” “lesbian,” etc? I see you.
You’re all amazing. ❤️❤️❤️ Sending you all the love.
Definition: A gender that is defined by a flagrant show of sensuality/sexuality, glitz, and glamour. This gender evokes a feeling of fun and drama, feather boas and glittery makeup, and is intrinsically tied to their life as a performer. It may also be defined by teasing the reveal of the gender. It often leans more towards feminine than masculine.
Note: While the term comes from the word “Burlesque,” which was originally meant to convey a caricature or mockery of something, this gender is more about performance, extroversion, fun, and unrepentant love of self and performing. Mostly used by someone that is a performer, not that feels like their gender is a performance.
I present to you: “virvoid”. It means part male, part gendervoid. I want to build off of this idea of being demiboy but specifying the other part of the identity.
I made some adjustments and changes to the proxvir (left) flag and nixvir (right) flag. I used the simple proxvir flag because it looked better and I couldn’t recreate the actual flag in Photoshop to use for editing. Plus, I personally like the simpler design.
Just wanted to remind y’all fellow men and male-aligned people who are exclusively attracted to other men and male-aligned people that I have coined a term for us to use : it’s Viric. Formed from the Latin word « vir » which means « man ». It can be used as a name (« A Viric ») and as an adjective (« He is viric »). You don’t have to use, though, it’s just a suggestion. 😇
Also if this term inspired you to create a flag for it or just for Gay Men in general and you want me to share it please don’t hesitate to DM me I would be more than happy to see it! 😁😊
The wide green stripe is reminiscent of the green carnation found on the achillean flag. The teal is for male-aligned and nonbinary men. The blue is for binary men. Even if this flag isn’t used, I wanted to show it off on my blog.
Catgender is a xenogender that is an umbrella term. Genders that fall under Catgender are Meowgender, Nyagender, Kitten/kittygender. As a xenogender, Catgender is an identity that is used for autistic individuals, as well as people who may experience delusions relating to being a cat/feline and/or experience species regression. while Catgender will be open for anyone to use, it is STRONGLY preferred that neurodivergent individuals identify with it, as xenogenders and autigenderism are genders made by neurodivergent folk, for neurodivergent folk! (These are not my words, they were originally written by @/bunsolvd on Twitter.)
Incognivir: Part male, part unknown gender. This was definitely me for a while before I realized that for me, demiboy meant part male and part gender neutral.
Here’s a new term I coined: Xenovir. It means having a male-related or male-aligned xenogender. I included the symbol by itself in case anyone wanted it.
left is “in the matrix” trans, right is “in the matrix” nonbinary!
“in the matrix” is a trans and nonbinary specific term essentially meaning “in the closet.” “in the matrix” trans and nonbinary individuals may choose to not be forthcoming with their identity either in part or in full, for a wide variety of reasons.
i chose “in the matrix” for this identity specifically because the film was written and directed by two trans women, who at the time were not “out.” as such, the film presents various themes that align with the trans experience – neo, the main character, is deadnamed, unsupported, and left confused as to why neo feels so lonely and out of place, as is the experience among many other young trans youth. as such, i feel that the film is a good way to conceptualize the specific experience of being closeted and trans/nonbinary.
please feel free to request other “in the matrix” flags! i am planning on making more, but i was so excited that i wanted to post this right away!
Irrexian (“ear-EHX-ee-in”): an adjective to be used by mspecs whose attraction completely disregards gender
> Only applicable to mspecs (biromantics, pansexuals, etc), obviously > Not applicable to all mspecs > Can be used for any kind of attraction > Derived from “irrespective,” which means “regardless” > Noun version: irrix (“EAR-ihx”)
It’s meant to replace “genderblind” because (1) it’s ableist and (2) it implies that you don’t see gender, which is plain wrong. “Irrexian,” however, is specific to attraction for those whose attraction, like my own, gives no shits about gender! An irrexian person could be attracted to women, men, and nonbins because gender doesn’t affect their chance of attraction to a person.
It’s worth noting that pan people can have preferences, despite the common definition being “attracted to anyone regardless of their gender”. This term helps to differentiate between mspecs with preferences and mspecs with no preferences.
Examples of use:
~ I’m an irrexian bisexual. ~ Xe is a panromantic irrix. ~ I don’t know what label I should use… all I know is that I’m irrexian!
Below is the flag!
Mind giving this a reblog to give my term some traction?
Genderpositive and negative could be related to genderflux. Like you know how genderflux is when your gender fluctuates between no gender and VERY gender well GP and GN could be names for that
Genderpositive: A state when your gender is present
Gendernegative: A state when you gender is not present at all
So like say one is a bigender individual who neutrois and agender/genderless. When they are genderpositive they’d be feeling neutrois and when they’re gendernegative they’d be feeling agender/genderless
Let’s take it a step further and spice shit up a bit
Demiflux bigender individual! There static gender is male but their fluctuating gender is neutrois. So they could possibly be both genderpositive and gendernegative at the same time! They would be genderpositive wrt their maleness but gendernegative wrt their neutrois identity when it’s nigh non-existent.
(I apologise if this has been done before, I looked around the internet and didn’t find anything like this-)
Abigender: when you are simultaneously agender and bigender. The user may experience both feelings of being void of gender and having feelings of two or more.
That’s tough! But the good news is, gender really is infinite. Have you tried looking at the LGBTQ+ Dictionary linked on this blog? You can use the Filter View (the funnel icon on the lower toolbar) and select “Genders” and scroll through. I’m sorry there’s so much. (´~`ヾ)
There may be hope still!
And if nothing still fits? There are words out there you can still use! Many people just label themselves nonbinary, genderqueer, or simply queer.
Otherwise, there’s:
other gender: Simply, some other gender that does not yet have a definition or cannot be defined. maverique: a gender that is not derived from the binary or nonbinary gender systems, and is a gender in its own self. aliagender: a gender identity that feels like an “other” category, or seperate/removed from common gender definitions and guidelines.
Know that even if you can’t find a specific term other than “nonbinary” or “genderqueer”, you’re just as valid as anyone else with the label! Sometimes it’s too complicated or confusing to find anything “specific.”
Genderfumy, Fluxstatic, Flexstill or Kymenianflux: fluxing the gender intensity while the gender identity stays static; staticflux or stillflux, a combination of flexgender (flux) and genderstill (genderstatic, kymenian or kymengender); a more specific subset of genderflux that isn’t genderfluid, not changing the gender but its intensity. Also shorten to fluxtatic/flextatic, flextill/fluxtill, kymenflux and statiflux.
This is on gendergaz and amplusian spectra. Coining ~ ap
heroian: a gender associated with comic book superheroes! this is the general heroian flag, as well as the flag for all heroian subgenders mentioned in the coining post!
color meanings: yellow: lgbt+ superheroes!; orange: love for superhero campiness (puns and capes!); red: justice, as well as camaraderie with villains (the color is present in the same spot on the villainic flag!); purple: compassion for one’s self and others; blue: inclusivity and love for superheroes of color, disabled superheroes, and all other minority heroes!
villainic: a gender associated with comic book supervillains! this is the general villainic flag, as well as the flag for all villainic subgenders mentioned in the coining post!
color meanings: purple: as it is one of the Traditional Villain colors – villainry, villain aesthetic, and camp!; pink: reclamation and love for all lgbt+ and queercoded villains!; red:
justice, as well as camaraderie with heroes (the color is present in the same spot on the heroian flag!);
dark red: anger against wrongdoing and injustice, using anger constructively for material change; black: inclusivity and love for supervillains of color, disabled villains, and all other minority villains!
if you would like to make flags for the sub-genders, or color correct/edit these to make them less eye-strain, please feel free! i hope you enjoy these!
felt bad that so many polysexual people are unhappy with their flag, so i tried to update it in an attempt to help do what has been done to the aro/enby/lesbian/etc. flags. broke up the extremely clashing three-color palette with a one-colour gradient to white between each & desaturated the oversaturated colours… lmk what u think!
Epostrific: A xenogender that centers around, and is embodied by, acceptance of strife and tension. A necessary fall into the dark, and a determination to return to the light. A fear of the unknown, and an acknowledgement that the unknown must be faced. Walking into a dark tunnel, knowing that you’ll reach the light at the other end.
Etymology:
Epos: A tale or story. A promise, a prophecy. Poetry in heroic verse.
Estrif: A fight or battle, combat, conflict. Torment, distress.
Voicefluid and Phonogender flags requested by anon.
Voicefluid – when the gender of your voice changes
Phonogender – gender identity connected/linked/tied to your voice
–
Stripe Meanings:
For the voicefluid flag, I directly took all of the colors from this image (save for the white) and mixed them with the colors of the genderfluid flag.
For the phonogender flag, I once again used violet, pink, white, grey, brown, and blue to represent different sound spectra (tweaked a bit from the original image), then added the red from the comgender flag. The bright blue is a color associated with the throat, and therefore the voice; so, together, these stripes basically translate to “having a gender associated with the throat/voice.”
If you have any problems with either of these flag designs, please let me know. I may take the post down & will certainly do my best to correct the issue.🦋
Ok, this one is a poster I carried during my first Pride, in Porto, 2018. It says, in an unofficial gender-neutral language, “Because you can be lgbt+ and human” while on the top several labels are checked,. It was an attempt to contradict that meme where, on a checkbox – that by itself implies that a person can check more than one box – with several lgbt+ labels, usually also the “straight” option and “human”, only the “human” is checked. So what, to be human means to get rid of a sexuality? Then no one is human, really. The only other alternative is that the person who checked them has a sexuality not represented, but I bet that wasn’t considered for the person who created the meme. About the drawing itself, I don’t exactly like the lashes, but the rainbow íris is beautiful and, as you can check in the step-by-step, took some work.
Sapphocupioandro: Someone who might “sexually” consider themselves a lesbian, but are willing to have sex with men, despite expericing NO sexual attraction towards men. The reason for sex could be (but not limited to this list): fun, trying to make a baby, revenge, for artistic expression, etc.
Sapphocupioandro might best fit people whose sexual attraction (in this case, women) is very different from other types of attraction (heteroromantic, bisensual, etc.), so they don’t feel comfortable with the term “lesbian”, since their other types of attraction are not exclusive to women.
Term creator: myself
Flag maker: myself, based loosely on an alternative flag for cupiosexual/kalosexual
Androcupiosappho: Someone who might “sexually” consider themselves a gay man, but are willing to have sex withwo men, despite expericing NO sexual attraction towards women. The reason for sex could be (but not limited to this list): fun, trying to make a baby, revenge, for artistic expression, etc.
Androcupiosappho might best fit people whose sexual attraction (in this case, men) is very different from other types of attraction (heteroromantic, bisensual, etc.), so they don’t feel comfortable with the term “gay”, since their other types of attraction are not exclusive to men.
Term creator: myself
Flag maker: myself, based loosely on an alternative flag for cupiosexual/kalosexual
FeKalosAndro: (pronounced: fay-kal-os-an-dro) being attracted to women but willing to engage in acts with men (despite minimal or no attraction towards men themselves) for reasons such as pleasure, bonding, financial, or trying to make a baby. This was made with feminine identities and non-binary in mind.
This is a slight tweak on the femkalosandro identity as well as providing an alternative flag.
AndroKalosFe: (pronounced: an-dro-kal-os-fe) being attracted to men but willing to engage in acts with women (despite minimal or no attraction towards women themselves) for reasons such as pleasure, bonding, financial, or trying to make a baby. This was made with masculine identities and non-binary in mind.
This was proposed as a xelxe term due to irises being a xeno symbol but that admittedly never took off and there are alternatives for that def already.
No-gender or Gender-No: similar to neither and nongender but also an internal negative response to personal gender identity, as in refusing gender terms for yourself.
Note that this isn’t about gender abolitionism / prohibitionism.
So I couldn’t find a flag that represented gender-fluidity, so since I was working on other projects for most other gender identities and sexual orientations for my store, I figured i would make one. I was hoping to get some opinions, and if its a good one, for it to get around. I’m trying, and its just an idea so don’t judge me too hard lol, but ill explain. Pink for Femininity, Blue for Masculinity, Purple for both, Black for the lack of gender, and White for all genders. Personally I like the way it looks a lot, but then again I made it so Im biased.
its been almost a year since i submitted this. just thought id bring it back
however i’m changing the meaning a bit, i can do that since i created it
(the only color changes i made was to make the white and black, actually white and black because before it was off-white and a dark gray)
This flag represents the fluctuations and the flexibility of gender in gender-fluid people.
The Pink represents femininity.
The White represents the lack of gender.
The Purple represents the combination of masculinity and femininity.
The Black represents all genders, including third genders.
a more pastel version of my agender/genderless flag design! this is the final!
colors: black/white: complete absence of gender grey: semi/demi-genderless (similar to grey-A in a gender way) green: nonbinary gender, inverse-purple (I’m aware that yellow is technically inverse true purple look at the genderqueer flag and learn color theory again before bothering me about this)
Well, I’d like you to know that you are still aro even if you have squishes (platonic crushes) and also smushes (sexual crushes) that are not also squishes or plushes (qp crushes).
simultattraction & exclattraction simultattration: only feeling sexual and romantic attraction simultaneously (mutually inclusive) exclattraction: only feeling sexual or romantic attraction when the other is not felt (mutually exclusive) coined by: anon
The only problem here is they use -attraction and only refer to romantic and sexual attractions, and that doesn’t always fit if you also include those you feel platonic and qp attraction for. Excl- is probably from the idea of mutually “exclusive”. So maybe we can start with this as a base idea and tweak it to fit you!
Exclattraction can also be defined as “feeling physical or emotional attractions when the other is not felt”
Physical attractions could be seen as: sensual, sexual, possibly aesthetic
Emotional attractions could be seen as: alterous, quasiromantic, romantic, platonic, queerplatonic
^This is not true for everyone, but it could help a lot of people too!
So while people may experience physical attraction and emotional attraction simultaneously, and others may experience them together but not at the same time, you don’t experience both at the same time at all!
I also want to point out there is this cool def:
sequencesexual/sequenceromantic sequencesexual: only experiencing sexual attraction to someone after experiencing romantic attraction to that person sequenceromantic: only experiencing romantic attraction to someone after experiencing sexual attraction to that person coined by: psychelockings
This can help people who experience attraction that is staggered/only happens after on attraction is experienced, which is kinda what I mean when I say “experiencing attraction together but not necessarily simultaneously”.
I don’t even know if it’s appropriate to make flags for these but fuck it! I could imagine someone using pride buttons or scaves of these like indicators. Like if they’re G+ they’d have the top flag on their blog but if their gender shifts to G- then they’ll put the bottom flag on their blog
I dunno I just wanted to have fun with it!
The colours schemes are real simple. For the G+ flag it was to symbolise positivity! So I chose warm exciting colours that kinda pop and le ppl know “Hey I’m feeling pretty fucking gender today!!!”
For the G- flag I chose more mellow and cool colours to symbolise negativity. Colours that you’d kinda overlook and not really give much attention too. Colours that you really kinda don’t wanna exist, just like your gender is at that moment.
The plus and minus signs are there for obvious reasons as well
And for more on what genderpositive (G+) and gendernegative (G-) is click this linky [x]
Today is a grey-ace blogging day. Today, I have the energy to compile some of the orientations being coined over on mogai-archive which I find grey-related. Appending some commentary about what I think they illustrate re: greyness, too! Focusing here on sexual rather than romantic attraction. Let’s start with:
CONCLUSIONS:
By and large, these still fall under the umbrella of grey-(a)sexuality as it is commonly defined: “experiences sexuality with low frequency, with low intensity, ambiguously, and/or in narrow circumstances.”
Some of those narrow circumstances are getting specified, some are left ambiguous but say there are narrow circumstances (eg kairosexual).
There is especially a focus on sexual attraction to only people one doesn’t know well, in opposition to demisexuality (and such a pushback, and the existence of such an identity/experience, makes sense).
Fluctuation and fluidity are getting directly named and discussed
How a person’s experience of sexual attraction makes them feel is being highlighted (eg dreadsexual), which is I think brand-new and awesome and great prompting for deeper discussion and the differences between ace-spectrum versus allo identities.
Specifically intersectional identities, especially re: neurodivergence but also re: #abuse and #rape survivors, are being coined, which is absolutely fantastic. What’s even better is they tend not to focus on “why,” on causality and if being neurodivergent or a survivor are the reason/source/whatever for being ace-spectrum. That’s left unspecified, and can be relevant or irrelevant for each person.
Many of these ping me and resonate with my experience and why I id as grey; some are totally foreign, and some of those are in/comprehensible, and that’s all great! Above all I am thrilled to see new ways of thinking about and conceptualizing experiences of sexual attraction, and I long for further discussion and development.
All definitions are verbatim, bullet points are commentary. Alphabetical order, cut for length.
A kingender that means you kin steven universe from the show steven universe and/or your gender is excited, pink in the center, young and related to gemstones, pacifism, compassion and righting past wrongs!
Stripes 1-down mean: excitement, naivety, gemstones/obscured sence of self, compassion and unrelenting positivity!
This identity is based on the personality of younger/original steven and not necessarily the older one as seen in steven universe: future, however it can mean either.
Resisteres: A term to describe transgender individuals who desire to reclaim the dehumanization they have been subjected to on the basis of their gender identity by purposefully socially “othering” themselves, referring to oneself using language that is typically used to refer inanimate objects, refusing to assimilate into cisgender existence, gender dissidence, genderfuckery as well as the subversion of the cishetero patriarchy, gender roles, gender stereotypes and the Gender Binary.
Etymology
A portmanteau of the Latin words “Resistere” meaning “to resist” and “Res”, meaning “thing”. “Resistere” modified to “Resiste” + “res”, creating Resisteres.
One who is Resisteres would be called a Resisterite.
To following modifications can be used to indicate other types of genderedness (or lack of):
Resisterina: A Resisterite that experiences some significant degree of gender femininity, excluding binary gender femininity.
Resisterino: A Resisterite that experiences some significant degree of gender masculinity, excluding binary gender masculinity.
Resisterix: A Resisterite that experiences some significant degree of genderedness that is neither masculine nor feminine, but not xenine.
Resisterri: A Resisterite that experiences some significant degree of gender xeninity.
The Resisteres flag consists of six, solid-colored horizontal stripes of the same size. From top to bottom, the colors are bright red, melon orange, grey-beige, lime green, viridian and forest green. The colors of the flag have the following meanings:
The bright red stripes represents gender dissidence, defiance and subversion.
The melon orange stripe represents the rejection of binary masculinity as a greater rejection of the Gender Binary.
The grey-beige stripes represents the reclamation of transgender dehumanization and incorporation into one’s gender identity and/or expression.
The lime green stripe represents the rejection of binary femininity as a greater rejection of the Gender Binary.
The viridian stripe represents genderfuckery, gender non-conformity and genderqueerness.
The forest green stripe represents a lack of assimilation into cisgender existence.
This gender, like demibxy, is a sort of mix of terms as well as on the Demiboy spectrum. Demi-, meaning partially, and xoy, meaning a nonbinary boy. A demixoy is someone who partially identifies as a xoy. The other part of their gender can be undefined, or can be another gender entirely. A common complement to demigenders are nonbinary genders, but the other gender can be any gender. Those who identify as a demixoy have a partially masculine and neutral gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders). The creator of this flag is @genderqueer-dream, but the coiner of the term is unknown.
This term is somewhat a mix of terms, and also on the Demiboy spectrum. Demi-, meaning partially, and bxy, meaning agender boy. A demibxy is simply someone who only partially identifies as a bxy. The other part of their gender can be undefined, or can be another gender entirely. A common complement to demigenders are nonbinary genders, but the other gender can be any gender. Those who identify as a demibxy have a partially masculine and null gender, but their gender expression can be anything (as with all genders) The account who made this flag is @uncommongenders, but the coiner of the term is unknown.
Meaning: this is a Objectum orientation but can be used even if you don’t identify with Objectum! This orientation is based around attraction to plants and nature!
Color meaning-
Pink- this light pink represents the tender Love (platonic or otherwise) that someone may feel for a plant or nature
Light green- represents the life and growing of nature.
Light yellow- this represents the happiness Objectum folks feel when with their partners!
The flower is there to further drive the idea of nature into the pride flag and is white to show the purity in Objectum and similar idenfiying people’s hearts!
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
DNI if you plan to spread hate 🙂 all are welcome here and I want to keep this place safe!

(I apologise if this has been done before, I looked around the internet and didn’t find anything like this-)
Abigender: when you are simultaneously agender and bigender. The user may experience both feelings of being void of gender and having feelings of two or more.
i didn’t see a flag out there for my specific orientation, so i made one myself! this is the awosexual/aworomantic flag! aworomantic is attraction to anyone who isn’t woman-aligned!
dark blue: represents men
light blue: represents individuals with weak ties to masculinity/men-aligned individuals who do not see themselves as “100% men”
white: represents community
green: represents individuals who feel no ties to masculinity or being enby
light yellow: represents individuals with weak ties to nonbinary-ness/nonbinary-aligned individuals who do not see themselves as “100% nonbinary”
dark yellow: represents nonbinary individuals
this is my first pride flag, so please let me know if you have any suggestions!
Let’s talk gender identities! These flags are from top to bottom demigirl, demiboy, demiagender and demigender. Again, I’m gonna explain to you what these terms mean.
A demigirl is a person who only partially identifies as a girl, and only feel partially feminine. They sometimes put a label on what their other half of their identity is, but this doesn’t have to be. The same goes for demiboy, but obviously with boys and masculinity.
Demiagender is a person who only partially identifies as agender. They also can sometimes name their other half of their identity, and can also feel either slightly feminine or masculine, or just that some other half of their identity has a gender, just not name it.
Demigender is an umbrellaterm for people that are any kind of demi-gender. Part of this are the genders described above but also demibigender, demifluid, demiflux or demiangrogyne, which I will most likely explain in a future post.
Domgender- when you are multiple genders (like polygender) but 1 of those genders is dominant Domgender is like nanogender/demigender/ magigender except with multiple genders Prefix derived from Dom- above, power, over 1. Dominant Defined and Coined by agendertouka and space-gem
Also, as a note, stop reblogging the supragender post from earlier
For the Anonfriend who messaged me earlier! Here is domgender. It is notably different from supragender, which was first coined by baaphomett in this post, and described as “above the threshold for having a gender/having a gender that exceeds above and including a gender.“
(From what I have seen, the confusion developed when the coiner of "domgender,” space-gem, first tried to name zir definition for domgender under the name of “supragender,” before realizing that word had already been taken. The two, however, are not the same.)
Aflux is the sexual/romantic orientation of being both aceflux and aroflux; wherein both whether or not a person feels sexual or romantic attraction changes day by day.
I’ve seen aflux as a term used a few times, but I have not yet seen a flag for it, nor someone using it as an identity. So, I’m going to journal my experiences regarding my orientation in hopes that it may catch on.
The flag is made by me and based off of the ace- and aro-flux redesigns by @toothcity

so I came up with pronouns (not sure if they already exist. I’m new to MOGAI) yeah I know theyre just gendered pronouns without the h but I think they’re pretty semi gendered.
e/im/is/imself (semi masculine)
e/er/ers/erself (Semi feminine)
:
Baphometgender/baphogender!
A term for a gender that is effected by sulfer and religion! The matching pronouns for this gender are baph/bapho!! But of course your choice if you sue them :)!!
Baphogender is a dark moody masculine leaning gender with streaks of femininity
Aflux is the sexual/romantic orientation of being both aceflux and aroflux; wherein both whether or not a person feels sexual or romantic attraction changes day by day.

[Image description: These images are such messes that I’m not going to describe them in detail. Those are combos of the altegender flag and queer chevrons. The first image is just the queer chevron flag with altegender colors, while the others try to combine the original purple chevrons with the rectangles of the altegender flags.]
Altegender: pronounced “alt-eh-gender”. Derived from shortening the phrase “alternate existence.” It is a
xenogender that feels as though it’s in a parallel dimension, on a
different plane, in a mirror universe, or just in an alternate
existence. Originally created to explain the distance one might feel due to
neurodivergence, specifically dissociation or depression, it is still
usable for any person who feels distanced rom their gender.
Context: Someone made a post/comment about wanting to combine the queer chevron with the altegender flag, and I tried a few things.
these are all flags for an orientation im coining right here on this post! the orientation is poten [potensexual, potenromantic, potensensual, potenplatonic]. read from top to bottom, left to right the flags are: general flag, potensexual 1, potensexual 2, potenromantic 1, potenromantic 2, potensensual, potenplatonic 1, and potenplatonic 2. i used the last stripe on each of the a- types of flags [asexual, aromantic, asensual, aplatonic] to replace the bottom stripe of the general flag and there’s a few different options for flags that i could find on the pride-flags devaintart, so i went ahead and did them all.
the word comes from the word potential and the definition of it is “attraction only felt to those who could potentially be attracted back by definition of their orientation.” it can be used in combination with other orientations [such as man/woma or noma/nowoma, but not exclusively those] to be more specific. to identify as poten-, you obviously dont have to be attracted to everyone who falls into this category, it just has to be something thats common between those youre attracted to.
poten attraction happens regardless of if you think the other person is actually attracted to you or not. if you only feel attraction to those you know/think are attracted to you, the orientation youre looking for is recipro-!
It looks nice! Just for the potenromantic, green would be the color you’d use, since that’s the color associated with the romantic/aromantic spectrums!
Um, Hello! I’m hyperromantic and i couldn’t find a flag, so i decided to make one myself! its very simple, and uses light colors. this is just my own variation. feel free to use it if you’d like!
[image: a 10 striped flag with gradients of the bi flag’s purple and two stripes in the middle identical to each other. end ID]
Bi-spec (bi-spectrality or bi- spectrum): similar to multispec, many folks use bi as a spectrum for themselves, specially alluding the resignified/redefined meaning of it &/or its polysemies (varying definitions/descriptions). Many flex(i)-/-flexible people might be bi-spectrals while not intrinsically “bi”, within their intrapersonhood, for example.
Ay-ness (ayhood or aity/ayty): a term for individuals who are both not allosexual and not alloromantic.
Useful for those not wanting to use aroace (non-SAM or specify their experience) while still being on both spectrums but don’t identify intrinsically as aro and/or ace, or just anyone who wants a monosyllabic alternative for aroace.
A gender invert is someone whose gender is the opposite of the gender associated with their physical sex. Male girls. Female boys. […] unexpected gender
Uniattraction- Feeling romantic/sexual/alterous/platonic/sensual/aesthetic attraction towards one person and one person only for advanced periods of time or one’s whole lifetime. You are attracted to them regardless of their gender/sexuality/changing appearance etc.
I chose the asexual colors with one strip of red to symbolize romantic/sexual attraction towards one person. (Although the prefix Uni can be attached to any type of attraction to symbolize attraction to that one person)
Agefluxgender : When you’re a system member who feels a different gender at different ages, whether due to age sliding, age regression, or any other reasons your age could change in system.
Petfluxgender / Animalfluxgender : When you’re a system member who feels a different gender when pet/animal regressing, simply being an animal at the time, or any other reasons you could change to be more animalistic in system.
There are system only genders! Sorry, there’s already an Ageregender, and Petregender can be coined another time, for singlets. Also don’t be nasty, keep anything sexual away from this post.
A more specific form of genderfluid that, rather than fluctuating between genders, you fluctuate between your connection to femininity, masculinity, and androgyny.
My dumbass thought the first letter was a lowercase L and not an uppercase i and I read this as “lactogender” lmaoooo
I mean, in all fairness, milkgender could totally be a fluid gender *badum tishhh*
ORIFLUX Color meanings: Deep red: romantic Deep pink: sexual Light pink: aesthetic Yellow: platonic Orange: sensual. The greys in between are for the fluctuation of the orientations.
Oriflux can be used by anyone who experiences 2 or more orientation fluctuations. Can be used as an umbrella term or by itself!

exterpronominal: a term for those whose pronouns reflect something other than (just) their gender. an umbrella term for those who use pronouns based on their orientation, presentation, neurodivergency, kintypes, or other influences outside of their gender.
the central orange stripes are based on these flags, as they seem to use them to indicate pronoun usage. i wanted to use green to reflect the external influences on pronoun choice, since i feel that green represents the outdoors and extraterrestrials, which could be a good visual representation of this label. i also added a touch of blue to the outer stripe, since blue is opposite orange on the color wheel.
A demi- everything flag. That means demigender, demiromantic, demisexual, etc. (For flags like these, it includes all attractional terms, so things like demialterous and others count.)
definition: Undefinable, intangible, the uncreation of gender. Its taking everything everyone throws at you, saying male, female, pick one, pick this, pick that, and taking it in, only to expel it, poisonous crystals erupting from your skin, armor against those who don’t listen.
A “I don’t want a label because labels don’t fit but they help shut people up sometimes, so here have a label” gender label. A fall-back plan, a red herring to give people who can’t conceptualize the absence, void, nullification of gender. It is, and is not. All and none. Nonexistant but present.
Negatrois (now called nectrois) arity, encompassing negative leptarities such as unbinary, antibinary and negabinary. It describes antigender arities.
Other words: negarity, antary/antarity, antiarity/antiary, nectary/nectarity, antinary/antinarity, nectrary/nectrarity, neganary/neganarity, necnary/necnarity.
Some possible negarities/antarities: antitrinary/triantary/triantinary/antrinary, antiunary, negunary/necunary/nectunary, necternary/negatrinary/negaternary/nectrinary.
It should be said that if a leptarity embeds antigender(s) or gender negativities/nectralities, it’s still a positive gender arity. Nectral arities are about how many entries are your opposite genders or that you experience them negatively/necterly/nectrally.
Note that unbinary is also nultral/nulter (nullary/emptary).
Exme/Ex-me: A term referring to one’s past self, whom they no longer identify with. Can refer to one’s past life, or someone one simply was before. This term is disconnected from the term ‘kin’, as the user of the term no longer feels as though they identify with that past self in any way.
Juproxvira (juxera+proxvir): a gender relative to femache (male-female), but is something separate and entirely on it’s own.
[prox from proximus, Latin adjective for near, “vir” from masculine latin noun, jux from juxta, Latin adverb for near, “era” feminine noun for lady, mistress or goddess]
It can be also known as (pro)juxvira, proxjuvira, (ju)proxvirmina and (pro)juxvirmina, additionally (ju)proxangi and (pro)juxangi. Based on an ask at @mogaiheaven. See also ambonec, nixangi and ambigender.
3 & 4 should be probably called nijuxavire/junixavire/nijuxevira/junixevira/nijuxeravir/junixeravir & niproxavire/pronixavire/niproxevira/pronixevira/niproxeravir/pronixeravir.
Demineutrality (demigenderneutrality): partial neutral-gender identity; identifying partially as genderneutral and partly other gender(s); or neutrally demigendered.
Similar to demineutrois but using the gender-neutral flag’s colors. This term can apply to any gender quality (expression, alignment, presentation, identity…).
Nergender: Referring to when one is verily and certainly of a particular gender, though not in the typical or normative sense.
Can be used as Nerboy, Nergirl, etc.
Etymology
“Ner”, from unknown origin and definition + “-gender”, an English, neologistic suffix indicating genderedness. To refer to a particular gender, the prefix “Ner-” is used in combination with the given gender. Coined by user s1tchy-boi, 2020.
Flag
Prior to this post, this term did not have a flag.To remedy this, I created one. The flag consists of five, solid-colored horizontal stripes. From top to bottom, they are turquoise, olive, dark brown, lilac and salmon. The stripes hold the following meaning:
The turquoise stripe represents untypical expression and masculine identification
The olive stripe represents untypical expression and gender-neutral identification
The dark brown stripes represents gender untypicality and non-normativity.
The lilac stripe represents untypical expression and androgynous identification.
The salmon stripe represents untypical expression and feminine identification.
The creator of this term is a transmedicalist and anti-MOGAI. This note serves to inform those who may not want to use this term basedupon this. Still, the term represents a very usable concept, and because this may prove useful to someone, it has been archived here.
I think renaming this to reclaim it for the whole community and have proper etymology would be for the best. I identify with this so I might do so myself
Top comment: For this redesign, I used the same colors as the current trans flag. I swapped out the (quin-band?) for a triband with a diamond-like shape in the middle. The arrows, colored pink and blue intersect on the blue and pink bars, resembling transition from male to female or vice versa.
A gender experience in which male and female are applicable and used to allude your gender, however your gender isn’t defined or specified; externally alluding any gender or extrapersonally alternating various genders but not essentially varying genders on the inside/intrapersonally.
This basically doesn’t say nothing about gender identity, it’s more like the ability of referring/referencing to yourself as genders that you may be or may be not.
The first description is uingender (undifferentiated, unspecified, unspecific, undefined, uiagender, uegender, uiaspec), it can previously express a ningender (niagender, niaspec), epingender (eingender, epegender, epiagender, epiaspec, eiagender, eiaspec) or a mingender (miagender) with a fingender (fiagender) version/extension, basing on a grammatical term called nouns of vacillant gender (vacillating; wavering; irresolute; oscillating; swaying).
tried my hand at making a flag similar to the lesbian one ive seen floating around. wanted the brown stripes in the middle because that feels more inclusive and shows that lgbt+ poc are part of the community rather than just tacked on the top
Another celestial flag readjustment. This one is Saturnian. I wanted to include colors that represented both masc and fem energies, and get rid of the color gradient. I’m curious as to why the original choice was yellow/gold.
I rarely coin MOGAI terms, but I wanted to try it out. Here’s a flag for a term I’ll call vesteic. The outer “layers” of the flag are blue to represent that outward gender, but the real gender shows as you move toward the center. The circle is the “core” of the identity.
I came up with “vesteic” from the Latin word vestis, which means clothing.
My redesigns for starfluid (left) and Plutoian (right). I thought that Plutoian needed to look like my Mercurian design because they’re very similar.
To my understanding, Mercurian is unaligned but has a gendered feeling while Plutoian means nongendered but feeling aligned. Feel free to clarify if I misunderstood. I’m all about accessibility and that means for terminology as well.
Additionally, I may come up with demi- versions of some of these terms and name them after their corresponding planets’ moons. Someday.
I’m back to coining male-related terms. This one is called starvir. It means someone who is part male, part celestial gender (and that could mean any of the celestial genders like Juparian or Venusarian or Stellarian.)
