From English, “Girl” + “Brother” + “-ic”, meaning one who occupies the social role ascribed to women, a male sibling and a suffix meaning “of” or “related to”, respectively. Based off of the word Boysisteric, which was coined by user Pupyzu in 2021. Girlbrotheric was coined by Gent (Gender-Resource), 2021.
Flag
The Girlbrotheric flag is a rough color inversion of the Boysisteric flag, created by the coiner of the term. The Boysisteric flag consists of five stripes, from top to bottom consisting of pastel red, salmon, golden yellow, baby blue and blue. Girlbrotheric also consists of five stripes. From top to bottom, the colors are teal, mint, golden yellow, light pink and fuchsia. The boysisteric flag does not have an official meaning, so the Girlbrotheric flag will not have any specific either. Pinkboy: a masculine-aligned gender which can only be understood through femininity; a masculine-aligned gender which is best expressed through hyperfemininity, either in presentation, identity or both.
From English, “Pink” + “-boy”, referring the light, pastel color derived from red and young individuals who inhabit a ‘male’ social role, respectively. The color pink is used here in the name to indicate femininity, as the color is culturally associated with femininity and womanhood in The West. Pinkboy was based after the term Bluegirl, which was coined by user sparklebunny in 2021. Pinkboy was coined by Gent (Gender-Resource) in 2021 almost two months later.
Flag
The flag is a rearrangement of the Bluegirl flag created by user sparklebunny. The design and color pallet is the same, but the colors appear in the opposite orderto represent the dissimilarity between the two genders. In the Bluegirl flag, the smallest, innermost triangle was light pink, followed pink, purple, violet, blue and baby blue. Both flag consists of 6 triangles nested within each other pointing downward. Since the coining post for Bluegirl did not have an official meaning regarding the flag design and it’s colors, the Pinkgirl flag does not have a particular meaning, aside from being an inversion of the term original term both in flag, name and definition. Two terms and flags I’ve been trying to make for a while and finally did it aaaaa
Angic: A gender that is unambiguously androgynous; being lingender and not amingender.
Ambic: A gender that is ambiguous but not androgynous; being amingender and not lingender.
The flag colors are partially based on commonly associated colors and partially on visual metaphor; the angic flag is bold and saturated to represent an unambiguous, distinct quality and the ambic flag has less contrast and has colors that are a bit harder to discern the name of if one were to describe them, and different people might describe the colors differently.
I’m ambic! There’s a common misconception that ambiguity and androgyny are the same thing or interchangeable, but they are two distinct gender qualities. Androgyny is midbinary in nature, deriving from masculinity and femininity and/or related to those concepts. Ambiguity isn’t related to the binary and is cryptic and enigmatic, having multiple interpretations, not clearly being one thing or another. When both qualities are present it may be described as ambiguinity. When you’re one and not the other it can be a bit frustrating to see them being mixed up and having your gender misinterpreted, but this is a term to help prevent that and make it clear what quality your gender is related to. When I say my gender is ambiguous it is in a very abinary way.

Oriongender is a gender that feels very connected to the feeling of standing on a hill, looking up at the galaxy of stars above you, and that sense of amazed silence you get doing so. It also has some emotional connections to chill EDM with space vibes.
A mostly masculine gender! It feels royal, almost prince like, but mysterious, skittish, and feral at the same time. Femininity is – usually – comforting, but not fully associated to the gender itself. The intensity of it differs and can be pleasantly or negatively surprising.

I think the term mesosexual was very similar to this concept. It could be revamped. Also I feel this term could include other orientations, such as lesbian/gay/turian (+ sapphic/vincian) and toren/trixen, that already include men/women in the attraction without necessarily being attracted to binary people.
Evenic: A term for when someone is on the boundary of two existing identities. Users may feel as though they partly or entirely fall under both, or they may not identify as either one individually.
An example of this identity could be someone who feels as though they are in-between being a butch lesbian and a mlw trans man, and may feel identification with both labels at the same time. This term was coined as an alternative to cusper, which is a label that can be uncomfortable for some due to controversy, and usage in reactionary circles.
Important to note that, unlike cusper, this term does not exclusivelydescribe a boundary between gnc cis and trans, it can be described as someone whose identity is on the boundary of any two identities, usually ones that do not typically go together (though not always.)
DEFINITION; Contrafem- A feminine-aligned person who uses traditionally masculine terms to refer to themselves (boy, husband, king, etc.) Contramasc- A masculine-aligned person who uses traditionally feminine terms to refer to themselves (girl, wife, queen, etc.)

This is a proposal for an androgyne / androgyny flag.
I harbour some criticism for the current androgyne flag proposals (located here and here), and thus I felt it appropriate to create some of my own test flags for the public to deliberate over, as I don’t believe there is consensus on any particular flag either way.
I am unsure which communities I should survey with this proposal, and thus am coming to tumblr. If you know of any other major communities or gathering places for androgynes or androgynous people, please direct this post their way.
